ASK JACOB
For months now various people have suggested that I begin doing a weekly, or monthly, “Ask Jacob” section on my blog. To be honest, I just don’t know why it has taken me so long to finally put this idea out there. You see, I get several private emails from people all over the world, and I LOVE them… There is nothing better than feeling like somehow God has done something through you that has encouraged someone, or possibly changed their life. These emails I receive privately are so amazing, people share their heartache, their accomplishments, what they have overcome, what they want to overcome, their circumstances, and sometimes they just want to say thanks. And there are a handful of people who have thanked me in ways I never could have dreamed, and I am so very humbled and grateful for it. In addition, the overwhelming majority of my emails contain questions for me, which I of course do my best to answer. So now I would very much like to do this with all of you. If you have any questions, whether they are spiritual or personal, leave that information in the comment section for me and each week, or when time permits, I will write a new blog addressing your question, comments, or concerns. I really hope that this opens a new door of understanding for us all. I look forward to hearing from you, and don’t forget to subscribe if you haven’t already. Jacob

Hello Jacob,
I just saw one of your YouTube videos in regards to John Paul II sculpture by Jerzy Kalina. It seems to me that John Paul II is holding and casting the star “wormwood” mentioned in Revelation.
Rev 8:11 – The name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.
He even named the sculpture “poisoned well” so he is suggesting that the Catholic church is the one poisoning the waters “people”.
Not sure if Kalina did it on purpose or if this is fulfilling the prophesy in a manner.

Hi!!!! I have a question!!! I’m actually In the middle of your YouTube video about Mandela effects, changes in the KJV!!!! I have several different bibles but I’m going between 2 right now just comparing. I’ve realized my NOT STUDY BIBLE has almost all the right verses or at least says the same thing as it’s supposed to. Which really confusses me because so many people have always said read the KJV anything else u don’t trust so I usually go back and forth to make sure it days the same thing but I can understand my NLT way better. Anyways I’m at the part in your video about 2 Corinthians 12:7 and in my NLT it says 7 even though I have received such revelations from God. So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud. Just wanted to know if that sounded right to you. And like 19:23 in my NOT footnotes it says the verse “literally means put my money on the table which means to give it to money lenders who would loan it out at interest”. You didn’t go in depth on that part so I was wondering if that’s the way it originally was suppose to read. And I just wanted to add the first bank in the world was Banca Monte dei paschi di siena which opened in 1472 in Italy!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to look at and answer my questions I really appreciate what you do keep the videos coming!!!!! I’d love to know your opinion on why u think “they” are changing the bible in such small ways!!! Thanks again!!

I have a question….I come from a highly religious fundamentalist backround – and I am really coming to grips with the finished work of the cross – for all. My religious family is going nuts…and “firing” many questions my way. They keep throwing 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10 at me – demanding an answer to our eternal damnation and punishment for those who do not believe!
What are your thoughts on this piece of scripture?
I hope this isn’t too broad a topic to bring up.

When the Lord (existing one) comes (is revealed in you) and is glorified (known and revealed truth in you) IN his saints (us) the parts of us that don’t know the truth are destroyed. The TRUTH destroys the lies we believe. Those that don’t know the Lord (existing one) are the carnal egos of mankind. Who you think you are is destroyed (wiped out with Truth-purifies with Fire (spirit/thoughts of truth) until only who you really are in Christ remains. Remember fire is an allegory for something that purifies precious metals) God (truth and love) is a consuming fire. My advice to you is continue to seek the truth of God no matter what the cost and only share what you know with those who are ready to hear it. Don’t let your ego (which is your enemy) trick you into thinking you need another’s permission or acceptance. The truth doesn’t need to be defended and it cannot be offended. Know your audience and show the love, not condemnation. It is love that draws a multitude to change. Stay strong and know how loved you really are.

We in time learn when to be silent and when the Holy Spirit is speaking. When he speaks it is always truth, love and a person that is sensitive to loving the Lord too will be receptive. Those that are asleep spiritually hear not what is spoken. I have spoken when I was not supposed to on few occassions and actually watched the person i spoke with literally start falling into a slumber…i then heard the Holy Spirit say to my spirit…’silent’ as they hear not with my ears. When he draws them and tells me to speak; i then see the fire stirring in them. What a change from pew sitting ….

I have been struggling with going to see a phsycholigist. I want to trust God for everything in my life, but I know that He is the one who supplies us with great doctors. Where does this fit in with resisting the egos worries and fears that troubles me so that it flees.
Rhonda there is a great scripture that reminds me not to condemn myself for things like this. “Blessed are those that do not condemn themselves in the things they do.” Religion wants to make you ashamed and doesn’t want you to get the help that you may need UNLESS it is from them. They brainwash people into thinking that going to a therapist is somehow NOT TRUSTING GOD… There are even some religions that brainwash their believers into thinking it is a sin to receive a blood transfusion, and others that refuse medical treatment as a whole. Of course this sounds ridiculous to you. As worrying that going to someone to help you work through your troubles is a sin, may sound foolish to those that know better. Rhonda wanting to be in a better place emotionally and wanting to get help with issues you are dealing with is not only brave it is PROOF that you are in God’s will. YOU WANT MORE FROM LIFE and you are wanting to take the steps to find this. I went to a therapist years ago, even tried meds for awhile. For that time it was helpful but soon I realized I didn’t need any of it anymore, and so will you. Therapy is NOT a bad thing. Talking out your troubles and asking for advice and insight is A GOOD THING. God directs your steps not religious men and women who have convinced you it’s not Godly to better yourself… Remember the one thing you are struggling with, may be God leading you there to learn something great. So go, let go of fear and worry and shame and stay if it helps, find another if it doesn’t and when the time is right leave if you want. Much love to you and yours and please let that worry go. Never be ashamed of who you are or where you are, you are more precious than you know… we all are.
Thank you! Patience isn’t one of my strongest assets. I want to know all NOW, lol I just miss my daughter so much and long to see her. She gave me a special card a few months before she passed. The other day, that card kept appearing open on my computer desk. It was like she was reminding me what she had said to me, which was….I have faith in you. Mom you’re going to do more than fine-You’re going to shine! She told me she loved me, to stay strong, have faith in God and everything will work out just the way you want. I feel her presence all around me. I know we are all one, its just hard to grasp sometimes. Thank you Jacob!
Good morning Jacob! I would like to ask the question….when a person sheds their earthly body for their spiritual body, do you think its possible for them to still be around us here on earth? Religious people have always been very fearful of a visit from someone who has passed over. My Mother is one of those religious people. She quotes scripture to me of how this is impossible. She tries to tell me its trickery of satan. I dont believe that of course. Would love to get your opinion please.
Marla, we are all one. When Jesus physically died he said, “I go to my father’s house, and in my father’s house there are many mansions… when I go where I am there you will be.” Meaning we are always together and never apart. Also try and not let what others say condemn you, people need to work out their OWN salvation… meaning we need to take our eyes off others and seek the Truth that is only found in God, WITHIN! “teach me the truth Lord, no matter what the cost.” If you desire to know the mysteries of all things, you will. What did Jesus mean when he told Paul, why do you kick against the pricks?

Hi Rhonda, I have always believed it to be an expression… Like “Kick against the goads”, when an animal is being prodded in a direction, when it kicks against the goads, it only brings more harm to itself. The word “Prick” is translates as an “Iron Goad” which would make sense to me. Sort of like with us, in the grand scheme of things we can try and fight the inevitable. But it is pointless, we must learn to roll with it, not kick against the pricks. As it is hard for us to do so. Fighting what God has planned only makes things harder. This is why Jesus simply said, “If you can let this cup pass, but nevertheless, YOUR WILL be done, not mine.”
A large percentage of people in the first century were tillers of the soil. Oxen were used to work the soil. The prick or goad was a necessary devise. The prick was usually a wooden shaft with a pointed spike (prick) at one end. The man working the ox would position the goad in such a way as to exert influence and control over the ox. You see, if the ox refused the command indicated by the farmer, the goad would be used to jab or prick the ox. Sometimes the ox would refuse this incentive by kicking out at the prick. As result, the prick would be driven deeper into the flesh of the rebellious animal. The more the animal rebelled, the more the animal suffered. Hence, the statement to Saul: “It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.” (Saul was rebelling against God.)
On Elijah, matt 17:10-13, mark 9:10-13, Mal 3:1-2 4:5-6, Luke 1:17. John would go on before the Lord in the Spirit and power of Elijah. then in Matt 17:12 Jesus said, But I tell you, Elijah has already come and they did not recognize him. Then on lazerus and that little girl, their spirit left their bodies and then their spirit was returned to their bodies after they vacated the natural body they were returned to it. So was that Elijah, as John the Baptist, returned, and why he leaped in his mothers womb. That God sent him back to finish somethings that needed to be finished, completed.
Hey brother Jacob, how is it going?
I think this is great idea. But for a time it seemed that I had no questions to ask. Then a couple of questions rose up in my spirit:
1. Once we have mentally agreed with the promise, then what do we need to do in order to appropriate so it actually functions in our lives.
2. Is there any place where the question “Who is like God?” Answered in a positive light?
I know that in regards to idols the answer is always answeredwith a no

I have a question, God knew us before, before we were born he knew us, I have read about the first fruits, helping with creation, but who were the first fruits. The war in heaven, 3rd of the angels, falling from grace, and man in the garden fell from grace, took of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and man is still taking from that tree planted in the garden inside of us, ignorance/lies/mans ways/mans traditions… So here we see the fall of a 3rd of the angels and the fall of man/adam from the garden of Eden, so we have the garden of Eden within us and we have heaven within us. But the bible also says that man is higher than angels. We see two falls from grace. Is these falls the same thing?

Hi Jacob this week has been I sad one but thank God has love is brought peace to my family and friends family hearts.You see last Sunday my friend Don was in the hospital with cancer and wanted to see my wife Lin son Christian and I to say good bye because he was dieing and we when the hospital where we see his wife Wendy and she said that he was not doing good thought he was not dieing soon but the next day he died.
God must have revealed to Him what is happening to him.We had a good visit and he told me that he felt the Lord hand on him the hold time he was sick and even that day he said he felt a peace.I was so thankful that I was able to pray for him and my wife Lin also prayed it was a prayer that fill all of our hearts with the Love of the Father.We all joint hands his Wendy,his daugther Audrey,my wife Lin,my son Christian and i.
It was like the room fill with love and peace.
i again thank God for your heart of love and grace I feel such a joy when read what you write.

Jacob I have a good friend of my died this week.I have to say that God’s hand of love and grace was with him and all round him.My wife,son and I were able to see him last Sunday and we all were able say good bye.He told me that he felt God’s hand on him the hold time he was dealing with his cancer.
My family and I are donig good also even thow sometimes it does no seem good. I always know the God;s love is always there.

Hi Jacob, The statement on this page; The reader will look beyond what is written..if this is a study or a book, im interested…guide me on how to receive this. thank you sunnie, i too am a writer and over 1000’s of titles and im also a procrastinator…feeling and have felt led to get a book out there, not sure how to go when strapped on finances. I had publisher contact me on my poetry/spiritual and wanted 2 grand out of my pocket to get it out there…whoaaaa! anyway, could use advice there as well….to much in spiritual teachings to let just fall to the ground…use to put it on myspace, until i started dealing with viruses…hummm God bless you and your work is awesome…In I AM sunnie
Sunnie, thanks for the comment. With new works sometimes if you can’t get an agent or traditional publisher you have to self publish and that can cost money. I have heard amazon has an incredible deal for self publishing but haven’t looked into it. Many, many people are self publishing right now so it really is a cool thing if you are internet savy, with so many e-books on the market, the need to be in brick and mortar bookstores is needed less and less. But if you can get in with a bigger publishing house you do have a great chance of getting word out there. Very few people have heard of my novel because I went with a small publisher who did nothing when it comes to marketing my book or getting it in stores, but they gave me a good product. Now it’s in God’s hands. If you do want to check out the novel, just go to http://www.jacobisrael.org and you can order it there. I promise it is worth the read. As far as publishing goes, you can always start a blog as I did, wordpress is amazing and I have nothing but good things to say about this site.

I am crucified with Christ is a scripture that is made into a song where I use to go to church. The song goes as scripture , “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ liveth in me, the life that I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the son of God, but I think these next words were added , who loves me and gave his life for me. I’m thinking the words added should be who is me and growing every day. Does this seem right.? People think Jesus is in them but they are like Jesus as the god nature within them to grow stronger than their flesh ego nature. An I on the right track?
This is great. Have one! For some time, when I look at the clock, I’m seeing numbers like 111, 1111, 333, etc. Does this have any spiritual meaning? I happens almost every day.
Sadie, I used to experienc the same thing. It was maddening, I used to look up and the clock was always 11:11, my lunch would cost 11:11, and more. So much so, that in my novel everytime the character looked at a clock it was 11:11am. There are many websites about this phenomenum and the best thing I read out there was that it was a wake up call. Meaning a time where you get to connect with the divine and in my case shortly there after my entire belief system changed for the better. I began seeing things like never before. I may use this to write about, not sure yet. But I wanted to give you a short answer in the mean time.
Hi Sadie, My name is shortie! I dont find this odd at all. My thing is finding a dime. Every time i would find one, within that day or week, I’d see them everywhere i looked. Store, get in car, laundary, and they were all head down…The Spoke in saying to my spirit…he only wanted 10% of my time and head down; meant he was saddened if I didnt heed to his call. Knowing simply now that everytime I see a dime, i stop and acknowledge to him that I love him. Some times I go into silent meditation to feel his presence or his spiritual embrace. When I see this dime I know I hit the lottery…and am one rich lil lady. lol so precious is the love of our groom. Blessings
hi sadie; i believe our divine father loves to commune with us. I used to find a dime laying everywhere i went..i literally heard in spirit..i only want 10% of your time my daughter..so now every time i see a dime….i know its Abba…Im a firm believer in this communication.
