OCCUPIED, OCCUPIED

They asked me, they asked me, what did I see, what will happen, please tell us more?

I could not explain how my thoughts were arranged, I could not tell them what would remain if things stayed the same. I could not say, who was to blame. Because I too am stuck, center square of this game. And for this the herald came.

“A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” This the herald began to say. “Always fighting to have and fighting against having not. Greed and worry, those worms of furry, burrowing into their heads until their minds rot. Man against man, husband against wife, brother against brother, a fight’s what’s become of life, drowning in a sea of strife, pointing fingers pointing out those they declare to be naughty and those they declare nice.”

The herald rails, “Bring me to the gates of hell”, and that is when the great and mighty book fell.

The dust scattered as the great and mighty book appeared, the “nice” took hold first, they made sure the naughty were nowhere near. “The problem is not ours,” the nice declared, “It’s the poor, the sick, they lame, the colors, and the queers. We’ll create a god in our image, and then this god will become our greatest weapon, and will instill the greatest of fears. We’ll tell them the mighty book is ours, and it’s truth only we can hear.” And this is how it was, how it has been, the nice controlling the naughty for hundreds, if not thousands of years.

But the herald screamed, his voice carried into the great and noble sea, from the dead woods he was heard screaming, “The time is now, to breaks free. You’ve been blind long enough it’s time to see. Look at your chains, ignorance, pride, hate, arrogance, worry and fear, it’s time to see those chains clear. A clever serpent your ignorance has reared. And so the nice became the naughty’s enemy, they were tired of being fired, and from their traditions, conditions and warnings they had listened to for too many years, worrying if they did not follow they would lose the eternal life they held dear, away from all of this the naughties steered.

“Occupied, occupied,” the herald cries, “Occupied, occupied my people are, by hateful lies. Occupied, occupied, to busy to see, what is keeping them from being free. Faith in paper idols, in men of golden suit. Occupied, occupied, the “nice” rape them, they murder, they intimidate, they steal and they loot. Pointing each other in opposing directions, demanding they listen or receive their correction, promising riches if they stand at attention.”

Then the book was opened, words hidden beneath layers of filth and dirt. The herald held his hands up for the rain to do its work. Droplet after droplet, first separate and apart, rolling aimlessly toward each other like a blind man in the dark. The more that fell, the more could be seen. The droplets gathered together and made the mighty book clean. The naughty came together and finally understood what the great book means.

“Occupied, Occupied, we will no longer be,” they screamed. “You made the great book dirty but we have made it clean.”

The naughty then became the nice, and the nice they called the naughty. They said, we will do things different, we won’t be like the naughty, who once was called nice. We will be a new generation one that takes what we deserve, a new generation of nice. You can be with us, if you give us, what we deserve, we demand equal rights. But both the naughty and nice could not truly see the great book in its true light.

The great book then became a burden, even though it was light. They thought they were different, they certainly had different sight. But they only chose to read the great book in the dark of night.

“Occupied, Occupied,” the herald gave a shout. “Occupied, Occupied, having a better answer is not what the great book is about.” The herald took the book away, as the naughty and the nice began to say, “White is Black, Black is white, there is no gray!”

The trash piled high on either side. They began to beat each other, each with their bats of pride. This is when the herald cried.

“Occupied, occupied, this will you both remain to be. Prisoners of paper which reads in God we trust and promises liberty. Occupied, occupied, for your unjust cause, fighting to control a system of corruption that was only built to fall. I see murder in the streets and cries of blood. I see armies descending on the nice and naughties like the waters of a flood. I see fire, and crying, I see hurt and great pain. Why are you fighting for a corrupt system that will only bring you the same. You’ve put your faith in democracy, and have believed corruptions spin. Battles and rattles in the sewers of ignorance, this is your sin. Occupied, Occupied, soon marshal law, earthquakes, and hurricanes knocking on everyone’s door. Cradled in the dead arms of yet another world war.”

But no one listened, no one cared what the warnings were for. They were occupied, occupied, and this is why, when they asked me, I could not tell them more.

“Satan Revealed”

(Quick note to you all, as always I write my essays very quickly and do not have the time to go back and edit or revise. So please forgive any grammar, wrong words, or spelling mistakes. I hope you can get to the heart of what I am saying without me having to write it perfectly. Enjoy Jacob)

This past weekend my wife encouraged me to write about a certain passage in scripture, where Jesus explains that a house divided against itself cannot stand. Now when I got to this passage I THOUGHT i knew what I was going to write about. But like everything in life, you really don’t KNOW something until you know it. I thought I understood the passage and didn’t think it had more to offer in terms of a hidden meaning, or a deeper understanding to what is really being said. But just as I sat down to write this I opened up to the passage I am about to share here, and WHAMO, a new understanding hit. And it blew my mind. There is nothing better than seeing a scripture verse you have read a thousand times come to life, and now the dead letters of that page are alive and you feel the same because of it.

Of course, the passage in scripture I am writing about is this…

Mark 3:24-26
24And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

Pretty cut and dry, pretty simple to understand, right? Well, that is what I thought too.

I was about to write a simple paper on the importance of unity in our relationships, in our homes, in our country, and more importantly within. But when I looked at that Chapter in Mark, I knew I had another paper to write. Not about the importance of unity in a home, we all know how important that is, but something of greater importance. And I will briefly touch on it before I get deeper into this paper. But what I plan on opening up, is the next verse we find.

Mark 3:26
26And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.

Now let me first tell you who this Satan character is. It is not some spooky monster who is out to steal your soul away. It is not an all-powerful being that is causing all the suffering in the world. In fact, the only Satan there is, IN THIS WORLD is “Your Carnal Ego”.

Satan is who people have begun to believe themselves to be. It isn’t who you REALLY are, it is the nature you have adopted as your own. And this nature is adverse to your true spirit, which is God.

That’s right, many people say Satan is the adversary of God. And that is true, in fact the name Satan is literally translated as an “adversary”. Why the word Adversary doesn’t replace every instance of the word Satan is scripture is just another reason there is so much confusion in the world when it comes to spiritual things.

Now I have written a paper already on how and why Satan is simply man’s ego. But let me take a moment and show you why.

Galatians 5:17
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would

God is Spirit, and the adversary of the Spirit is the Flesh. And the Flesh is an allegory for our carnal mind. The Flesh results in DEATH (Ignorance, suffering), the Spirit brings us LIFE (wisdom, understanding, rest)

Romans 8:13
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live

Flesh = Death and Death = operating out of the Carnal Mind (Ego ignorance)

Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace

It should be clear that the Flesh and Carnal Mind is the same thing. And so, it shouldn’t be a stretch for you to now see that Satan (which is your adversary) is actually “WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE” = IGNORANT EGO OF MANKIND.

When Peter told Jesus that he wouldn’t let him die for the cause of eternal life (to know God the Father, and he whom God sent)… What did Jesus call Peter?

Matthew 16:23
But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men

Jesus was is a Symbol of the TRUTH of God revealed within man. Turns and calls Peter SATAN! At that moment Peter was an adversary/satan to Jesus. But that is not what I want to point out. Many have taught that Satan hates God’s creation mankind. That couldn’t be farther from the truth. Read the last line in Matthew 16:23 — YOU CARE NOT FOR THE THINGS OF GOD, YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT THE THINGS OF MANKIND!

Who else cares for worldly things? THE EGO OF MAN that’s who! Now when you really grab hold of what and who Satan is, and understand that we, each of us, have this great enemy inside of us…

Micah 7:6
… a man’s enemies are the men of his own house

When you understand who YOUR ENEMY is, then it will be easier to Flee from its deceitful ways. In Peter we see that Satan was simply Peter’s ignorant soulish worldly thoughts. In Judas we saw the same. In fact every time Satan shows us, there is a child of God Satan show up with. Because each of us have believed a lie. We have believed we are OUR EGO, we have believed we should be ashamed, guilty, we should be greedy and try to get ahead, we should be selfish, we have believed we should suffer, and struggle, and worry, we have believed all sorts of nonsense. Because of our Ego/Satan we find ourselves in hiding like Adam, scared of God, thinking we are somehow separate from God, we have believed we are NAKED and should be ashamed… And who told us that again?

The Woman (Our intellect) – I know many say EVE is man’s soul. But Adam is the Soul, he was made a Living Soul The intellect of man is the mother of all creation. Our thoughts create. And when that deep sleep of ignorance was put on each of us, our intellect went out trying to understand things on its own and it ate from the wrong tree. Now our eyes have been opened to a new world, a dead world, where the knowledge of good and evil is all we know about God. Our intellect was tricked by SATAN (who we thought ourselves to be/who we thought we could be)… We were tricked by the idea that to BE WHO WE ALREADY WERE we needed to do something. And so we got trapped in this thinking.

This is what the temptation of Christ is all about. Turn Stones (which is the religious law) into bread (spiritual nourishment), Worship me/Satan/ Your Ego, declare your EGO to be God and you can have it all, throw yourself down from the heights of understanding, do whatever you want, live however you want, you’ll never dash a foot against a stone… We are tempted day in and day out, by our EGO. It is that voice in our head, that we believe ourselves to be.

Everytime we have an argument, our EGO feeds us more and more reasons to continue the fight. Everytime our back is against the wall our EGO tries to convince us that our life is not worth living. Every negative thought in our head, is from the EGO/Satan, and it is the very thing that is holding us back from a life of peace. The EGO (who we think ourselves to be) is the reason for every horrible thing, it is the reason…. And for those who say, Satan is outside of us, causing us to do terrible things. I would like to point out, that every wicked thing in man, comes from within man!

Matthew 7
20And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
21For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Satan is not some monster outside of you. Satan is the Monster that you think is YOU! This is the corrupt ruler, the idolatrous king, the adulterous woman, and yes the Roaring Lion Scripture speaks of, these are all symbols of man’s carnal Ego.

1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

The roaring Lion analogy is used quiet often in scriptures. And you would be hard pressed to find examples where this “roaring Lion” wasn’t simply an allegory of how corrupt man becomes.

Proverbs 28:15
As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people

Proverbs 20:2
The fear of a king is as the roaring of a lion: whoso provoketh him to anger sinneth against his own soul

Psalm 22:13
They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion

The Lion roars to make it’s presense known. It is said a Lion’s roar can be heard up to five miles away. Lion’s are killing machines, and they love to attack the weakest members of their prey, they also LOVE TO SLEEP… These are all great symbols of the Ego.

Now let me tell you why this is important. You cannot defeat an enemy unless you know who that enemy is, can you? So to continue to believe there is a being that is separate from you that is causing you all your problems will get you nowhere fast. To think that you can simply change into a better version of yourself (ego) and have a better life will get you nowhere fast. The only way you will move forward into the promise of God is to let that enemy of truth go.

Now here is where it gets tricky. And this is what that scripture a “House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand” comes into play.

If who you believe yourself to be, is Satan, and you operate out of your ego for a majority of your life, you will never be free from your suffering, if you don’t stop.

Now Jacob, what on earth does that mean?

Well look at the last verse again in Mark…

Mark 3:26
26And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.

In other words, YOUR EGO cannot cast our YOUR EGO. Who you ignorantly think yourself to be can never overcome who you ignorantly think yourself to be.

Now this is such an important piece of advice I had overlooked up until this point.

One of the things that has brought me a good deal of sadness in my life, is that I (as who I think myself to be) cannot simply get rid of the sadness in my life. And what has troubled me for weeks now is what I have seen so many people speaking about.

There was a time that few people would dare say that WE are ALL CHRIST! I have been writing about this for years, but still couldn’t understand why I still couldn’t overcome my troubles, my worries, my fears, my insecurities continued to torment me. You see, what many people are missing today, is what I too missed, MY EGO (WHO I THINK MYSELF TO BE/SATAN) can NEVER BE CHRIST.

Once again, man’s EGO has risen up and tricked the multitudes. Today more than ever we see so-called enlightened teachers and people stating that WE are Christ. At first there was great freedom in this discovery. But we have been tricked. This is why books like The Secret, and teachings on the Law of Attraction are so beloved among people today. Many are teaching that since we are Christ, we can create, we can attract what we want into our lives. BUT THIS WILL NEVER BE. Positive thinking alone will never free anyone from their troubles. For a moment you may think, this is great, “I” am in control oh what a great day we are living in. But then when trouble comes we still suffer, we still see our limitations, we still have fears and insecurities. The reason is, Your EGO is tricking you into believing that Your Ego/Satan is Christ. That’s right all these great teachings we hear about today have done nothing but transformed your ENEMY (EGO/SATAN/ADVERSARY) into CHRIST.

2 Corinthians 11:14
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light

SATAN cannot cast out SATAN! If your Ego could cast our your Ego, there would be no EGO. But this DOES NOT WORK!

Only the TRUTH can cast out the LIE in your life. You cannot operate in a LIE and rid yourself of the LIE that causes you suffering and pain. When you do that, you simply believe a NEW LIE. You will embrace that LIE as truth and it will only make it harder to know what the TRUTH is.

YOUR EGO (who you think yourself to be) is not Christ (the power and wisdom of God) it has never been Christ (the power and wisdom of God) it is only YOUR EGO (the power and wisdom of Man).

And what should we consider MAN to be? A LIAR!

Romans 3:4
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar

MAN’S EGO is a LIAR, and the FATHER OF ALL LIES! And Man’s Ego no matter how you dress it up, no matter how many times you call it Christ, will never bring you to the Promise of God, which is REST!

When you operate out of your EGO, you are still working to accomplish something. You try to trick yourself by saying, “If I only believe differently things will be different”, “If I (my ego) understands I (my ego) is Christ all things will be possible”, “If I just think on good thoughts only good things will come my way”… as great as that sounds, I have been there and done that and I am still no better for doing so.

We cannot change by trying to change ourselves into a better version of who we think ourselves to be. We can only be changed when we see the deception for what and who it really is. We can only be free by laying down our egotistical lives to pick up a true life of rest, faith, and love.

Simple repetition of certain words will never make them true. No matter how many times you say, I am Christ that is who I am, will never yield the true of who you are. It is simply another trick the EGO is playing on you, transforming who you think you are, into a new version of who you think yourself to be. And that is why my friends no one knows the true Kingdom of God, which is Righteousness, Peace and Joy and power in the Holy Spirit.

This new movement we see, some call it the Kingdom movement, is nothing more than a new religion with a new update face. It is nothing more than a bunch of people, simply saying I am not “me”, I am Christ as Me. It is the same old thing, with a different set of rules and beliefs, but it is still no the truth.

When Joshua was about to lead Israel into the land of promise, there were many that did not want to cross over. They had already come so far in the wilderness, they didn’t want to cross the Jordan. Which ironically means “To descend”, Jordan that is. To get to the promise land you must cross over from the lower idea of who you think you are, to who you really are.

But when you do CROSS OVER from who you think you are, to who you really are, you enter CANAAN, the root word meaning of Canaan of course means “To be Humbled”.

Very few people want to give up their “kingdom”, they want to still be in control, so their Ego plays tricks on them so they can continue to rule. Sure they may have overcome many nonsense religious teachings like hell and other ridiculous ideologies. Sure they may have received great revelation here and there called manna (even though they truly didn’t understand what it was), sure they may have escaped many of their enemies and became a great nation in this wilderness… but as long as they refuse to lay down their EGO LIFE and are willing to cross over into a place of humility and true surrender, they are still slaves of their false identity.

I understand today many seem to be making great spiritual strides toward this perfection we all say we have within. However, just simply saying “I am perfect”,”There is no more Sin”,”I am Christ” doesn’t cut it. You will NEVER be free as long as you are still ruled by SATAN (who you think you are). You will still face adversity and fear, you will still have pain and wonder why. You can put on the bravest of faces and say a million times that you are God’s child, but YOUR EGO is not God’s Child and can never be. God’s Child is hidden beneath the Veil (evil) of who you think yourself to be.

So with that being said, how does one find freedom? How does one outsmart that Fox the EGO? Well it certainly isn’t by trying to cast out your EGO with a new and improved version of your Ego. It is by understanding the difference between the thoughts of God, and the thoughts of your Ego. And resisting these negative thoughts until they flee from you.

James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you

Only by laying down YOUR CONTROL of things will you ever be free. Here is the reason why. When the Religious of the day saw Jesus casting out devils, they immediately thought that the WAY TO CAST OUT DEVILS is by using the POWER OF DEVILS… Which means, the religious think the only way False Beliefs (devils) can be cast out is by SELF EFFORT. But look at what Jesus said…

Mark 3
22And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.
23And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?
24And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
27No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

The Ego of Man cannot be used to cast out the Ego of man. If that were possible, none of us would have the troubles we face… No, this is not how to find freedom. Jesus than goes onto to say, NO ONE can enter a strong man’s house and spoil his goods unless that STRONG MAN is bound!

We need to bind that strong man. We need to keep our EGO at bay. We need to resist the devil at every turn. We need to stop think that who we are is in control, and we need to go to the one that is really in control. THE TRUE SPIRIT OF YOU, GOD! Because our FATHER is greater than our INTELLECT.

1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

So how do we know the difference between the thoughts of God, and the thoughts of our Ego and Intellect? How do we know the difference between the ways of the kingdom and the cares of this world? The answer is simple.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind

The SPIRIT OF FEAR, is the same as saying the THOUGHTS OF FEAR. That is what Spirit is, THOUGHT. Jesus said, my words are SPIRIT and TRUTH. Words are spoken THOUGHT. We need to take our thoughts captive, we need to discern between the Thought of God and the Thought of Satan (the adversarial nature of man/the Ego). When thoughts flood our minds about situations in our lives that bring fear to our hearts, we must pray as Jesus prayed.

Luke 22:42
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done

We must bind that strong man, we must keep our ego from running wild and taking control of our emotions. We must understand that everything that is happening in our life is for our life. That “we” are not in control, God is, and if we don’t understand this than we will continue the cycle of suffering in our lives. We need to trust God, to take the thoughts of fear captive and cast them away. We need to ONLY allow the thoughts of peace take residence in our heart. No longer looking at others as enemies, no longer thinking we have a say in the things that happen in this world, no longer running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to put out every fire in our life. When we REST in God we see all that has been created in our lives and we finally say IT IS GOOD!

We can cross over into that land of promise, but we cannot do it by self effort or the vanity of new-found beliefs, we can only do it by becoming a house that is united with the only Truth there is, LOVE!

So everyone please stop trying to control everything in your life, stop looking at everything as Good or Evil and see that all things are working together for your good. Give up the fight, and you will be divided no more. Embrace the truth, that who you are, is nothing more than an idea, but who we really are is One God, in all, through all! When we see this, than our HOUSE WILL STAND TALL! UNITED ONCE AND FOR ALL!

Go The Father

Go To The Father

The other day I was reading the Gospel of John chapter 14 and I really wanted to share, verse by verse the way I see what is written there. It really is one of my favorite chapters in the New Testament, but there is a difference between the way it is taught and the way I understand this chapter to be. The best way to get into this essay, is not for me to go on and on and try to make a point but to simply address each line of scripture, and below it write what comes to mind and what it means to me. I hope it is an encouragement to all of you, Jacob

John 14
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Notice the very first words that are spoken here. “LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED”. That’s sort of like telling someone, “you better sit down for this one.” What Jesus is clearing doing here is preparing people for what he is about to say. Sort of like stating, “I don’t want you to get upset when I tell you this.”

It is clear by those words, that Jesus is concerned that what he is about to share may trouble the hearts of those who hear it.

Now the next words are the reason… “You believe in God, believe ALSO in ME.” – That statement alone was considered quiet blasphemous. A man saying, hey if you believe in God, you should also believe in me.

Was Jesus stating that he himself is God? Was he saying he was as important as God? Or was Jesus saying, there only is GOD?

The rest of this chapter in John will help clear this up. Those words, “believe also IN me” also tell us that Jesus really wants his audience to believe what he is about to say is true. He wants them to know that he is trustworthy.

Then he goes on to say…

2In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

This second verse many people have taught wrong for years. They make it seem like Jesus is making each of us a literal mansion up in a far away galaxy known as heaven. But that isn’t even close to what is being said here. And to find out, all one needs to do is FIND OUT what the FATHER’S HOUSE is.

Matthew 21:13
And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves

When Jesus entered the TEMPLE and called it the House of God, the father’s house, “my” house, it was clear it was the TEMPLE of God that was the HOUSE. So that changes the entire meaning of that 2nd verse.

The Father’s House is the TEMPLE of God. And WE are that Temple. This is why there are found many “mansions/dwelling places/tabernacles” in this house. There are MANY PEOPLE that make up the Temple of God, the ONE BODY of Christ.

So much for God rewarding us with a literal mansion in the clouds. What Jesus was telling them was that, HE WAS NOT THE ONLY VESSEL! He starts off by saying if you believe in God, believe also IN Me, then he says (You are all part of God, God dwells in each of you.)

So what does it means “I go to prepare a place for you”… well once again, we must consider “WHERE” Jesus is saying he is going. Well he is speaking of the father’s house, and we all are the Father’s House. It is clear to me that the place he is going to prepare is “His” heart.

2 Chronicles 30:19
That prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.

It is all about the HEART being prepared, this is the ONLY PLACE that needs to be prepared. Going within, to prepare a place for everyone. This is all about love, it is all about the change of heart that is taking place inside each of us. And Jesus was going where those with him had not yet been. So he had to “Go” there FOR THEM.

An unexplored land must first be explored and documented before others can travel where that first explorer went. And this is the same spiritually. Each of us have a part to play, some go places spiritually that others have not yet been, and then after they have “gone there” and understood what they needed to understand, they return and share it with others. This is exactly what is meant here. Look at the next line:

3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

It’s sort of like understanding you MUST LOVE EVERYONE, accept everyone, forgive everyone… If we do this, then truly there will always be a place prepared for everyone IN us. We will see every one as an extension of ourselves. We will embrace others, sharing what we have learned with others, bringing others to the same understanding we have. So where we are, they may be also. It’s all about blazing a trail for others. It is doing first so others may do the same.

4And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Here Jesus said, where I am going YOU KNOW, and how to get there YOU KNOW… but the disciples had no idea what he was talking about. And the same is true for many people today. They don’t THINK they know how to GO WHERE JESUS WAS GOING. They don’t believe they are worthy to do what Jesus did, think as he thought, go where he went. But that couldn’t be farther from the truth. WE ARE MEANT TO DO EXACTLY EVERYTHING JESUS DID. He WENT to PREPARE THE PLACE for us. So where he went, (which is where the truth is found) we can go and find as well.

Thomas didn’t understand this. Thomas questioned, “How can we possibly know what you know, go where you go, do what you do?”

Ironically, many of you feel the same way. As if somehow Jesus is more than simply being the pattern for us to follow, more than just the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. Religion perpetuates this lie by leading the world to believe that you can never be “as jesus is in the world”. That Jesus is somehow special, greater, and more important than you and me.

Like Thomas many don’t understand how to get to the FATHER. And when Jesus explains people twist it to mean something it doesn’t mean at all.

6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Notice Jesus didn’t say, You are NOT THE WAY, I AM the ONLY WAY…

He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the FATHER but BY ME.

Now many people believe Jesus is saying that He alone is the way to the Father. Meaning you must believe in someone outside of yourself named Jesus to know the Father.

But is that really what Jesus is saying?

He just said, in my Father’s house are MANY DWELLING PLACES. Meaning God doesn’t just exist in Jesus the man, but EVERYONE.

I see this scripture very differently. Let me explain it in a way to make the meaning more clear.

If you want to be AN EAGLE SCOUT, (which I am not lol), and you find an Eagle Scout and ask “how do I become an Eagle Scout too?” – that Eagle Scout will say to become an EAGLE SCOUT you must be as I AM.

Meaning there is no other way to be an EAGLE SCOUT but to do what the Eagle Scout does, to understand what the Eagle Scout understands, to speak as the Eagle Scout speaks, and to have the same fancy badges!

What Jesus is saying here, and you will find the rest of the chapter backs this up, IS… If you want to know the FATHER YOU MUST BE AS I AM because there is no other way to know the FATHER unless you are ME (THE SAME AS ME).

Now before you go and LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED, remember Jesus first said “Don’t let that happen.”

Now if Jesus was saying to you, that YOU CANNOT BE AS HE IS, most of you reading this would not be troubled by that notion at all.

However, to say that you MUST BE JESUS YOURSELF (exactly as he is) to truly know God, that would trouble many of you.

The reason is, you have been conditioned to think that BEING WHO YOU REALLY ARE IS NOT ONLY unattainable, it is blasphemous to even consider. AND YOU WONDER WHY MANY STILL SUFFER?

You will NEVER KNOW GOD, you will NEVER BE FREE, Jesus is saying, UNLESS YOU ARE ME!

And IF YOU ARE JESUS (the very same as He is) then you WOULD KNOW GOD. But to TRULY KNOW GOD you MUST BE AS JESUS, because that is the ONLY WAY, THE ONLY TRUTH THERE IS, AND THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW LIFE!

Let me also point out ALL THE SCRIPTURES that state, You are the LIGHTS of the world, You are the Living Epistles to be read of all men, “as JESUS IS so are YOU in this world”

Jesus prayed this for all of us… He begged the Father that everyone would understand that THEY and the FATHER are one… “That they would be one, as you and I are one”

Now this is one of the most important and most profound teachings there is.

Think about it, IF the only way to be free is to be as Jesus is, to understand that the answers LIE WITHIN YOU, and the only way to be as jesus is, is to LOVE, AND to be bold enough to go where Jesus went, to (the Father) = which means to understand who GOD IS, then you are preparing a place for OTHERS. Not just in your heart where you accept everyone and love everyone, but you are also SHOWING THOSE TRAPPED in their ignorance THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIGHT.

Now the rest of this chapter really illustrates that.

7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Here Jesus is saying, IF YOU WANT TO KNOW GOD YOU NEED NOT GO ANY FARTHER than to TRULY KNOW WHO I AM. And if you REALLY KNOW ME, than you KNOW GOD.

Now that would trouble some hearts. Imagine one of your friends at your bible study saying, HEY IF YOU WANT TO KNOW GOD all you need to do is KNOW ME. And that is EXACTLY what Jesus is saying. He is making a valuable point, he is saying IF YOU WANT TO KNOW GOD all one really needs to do is TRULY KNOW THEMSELVES. Not who they think they are, but who they HAVE FORGOTTEN they were.

For we know ALL there is REALLY IS GOD.

Ephesians 4
2With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Read that again. THERE IS ONLY GOD!

And God is IN ALL, ABOVE ALL (more powerful, and important than our egos, and through all, and IN YOU ALL)

You are the FATHER’S HOUSE, and IN YOU, is GOD, which is LIFE, TRUTH, LOVE, and the ONLY WAY to know this, is to be as Jesus.

In fact, Jesus is no greater than you and I. He simply went before us to this understanding. And now he is sharing this great revelation with his disciples.

8Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

But they still didn’t get it, and in fact, most still don’t and won’t. They still say, show us the father. And Jesus says, DON’T YOU GET IT, if you have UNDERSTOOD AS I UNDERSTAND you would KNOW THE FATHER, because that is all there is.

A Father is someone who gives the SEED to others to give birth to a child, who has the same genetic makeup as the FATHER. The son/daughter is no less, no different from the Father, the child simply hasn’t become a Father yet. But one day, when they mature THEY TOO will do as a Father does. And here Jesus is teaching us that. His words, his understanding that he was sharing is the very TRUTH that helps one to be WHO THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN. A child doesn’t know that he or she is exactly the same as their Father, but they are. They are in fact ONE.

10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Notice what is said here. Let me put it in human terms. As my Parents SEED is in me, I am the same as them, and as my children have my Seed in them, they are the same as me. I am in them, they are in me, because the SOURCE of who I am is in them, and the SOURCE of who I am is IN ME. We are all ONE, we are all children of God with the very same attributes and LIFE in us. But as Children we don’t understand that we too will become the FATHER. Yet, that is exactly what children become when they mature. And when we mature spiritually we TOO will understand that we are in God, and God in us, ONE, this is the UNITY OF THE FAITH. THIS IS WHAT EVERYONE MUST UNDERSTAND.

We are the same, we know the same things, we do the same things. This is the point that is being made.

11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. 12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Jesus is saying, I GO to my FATHER, to be the FATHER, I am going to become who I truly am. So that you may do the same. And when you believe these words I say, you will do the same. BECAUSE I AM GOING TO THE FATHER (I am forsaking the idea that God is separate from me, and I am embracing and becoming one with what I now know to be true= that God is me, and that I am God, we are ALL. God in me, I in God, God in you, You in God, Me in you, You in me…. ONE)

13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

And when you get to that place of understanding. When the great truth of this is revealed to you. ANYTHING that you ask in my NAME (which means NATURE, not a literal name) – Anything you ask in the very same NATURE and UNDERSTANDING WILL BE DONE. “ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN” – God will be manifested IN YOU, as you, for you are one. The question is, HOW DO WE GET THERE?

The next line is the key!

15If ye love me, keep my commandments.

And what is that commandment? TO LOVE OTHERS! To REALLY love! And I must admit, I have not met one who has gone to the FATHER and been able to do this yet. You see, I too, must go to the FATHER to do this. You must GO TO THE FATHER (COME TO THIS UNDERSTANDING, BE ONE) TO DO THIS!

16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

There comes a time, when you must leave your teachers in this world. And trust the SPIRIT within you to teach you. This is the comforter that abides in you for ever. It is the SPIRIT (THOUGHT) OF TRUTH, which your EGO cannot receive, because who you think you are is NOT REAL it is a fabrication. But who you TRULY ARE is someone you know already, because it is the REAL YOU. And when you know the REAL YOU you will understand that you and Jesus are no different at all. The truth about Jesus, that Jesus understood will COME (be revealed) to you and you then will know as you are know. You will know the FATHER, and in turn you will reveal the FATHER to others and be able to say to others, If you have understood what I understand you would know the Father yourself. And you will know that even if those you share this great truth with don’t receive it at first, THEY WILL!

19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

For a short while the world cannot comprehend this, but those Jesus spoke to, as I am writing to you right now, WILL. Because I Live (know the truth) you shall LIVE (KNOW THE TRUTH) also. And when you do, you shall know that WE ARE ALL ONE. I am in the Father, You in me, and I in you.

REALLY CONSIDER THOSE WORDS… If all of humanity EXISTS WITHIN EACH OTHER, we are ALL ONE! There is no difference between us, we are ONE. And to know this is to know that we must LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

So what does it mean to love “me”… what it means it love what that “me” claims himself to be. THE WAY, THE TRUTH and the LIFE. And when you LOVE AND EMBRACE the way, the truth, and the life, you will know the FATHER’S LOVE because that is all there really is. And that LOVE will be revealed to you.

22Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

You may question how this will happen, how we too can be where Jesus (the truth) is. The answer is always the same, WHEN YOU LOVE, that LOVE, TRUTH, AND LIFE will be revealed within you and expressed to those in the world. You will know that, there only is God, and from that moment on that whatever you speak and do, is not really “who you thought you were” but God doing the work. At that point you understand that everything you do, is being done within you, by God, for God is all there is.

24He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

This is not the word of a man, but the word of God. And when you understand that you will finally have the peace you have desired. You will stop worrying about every little thing, you will understand that even those that hate you the most are simply there to teach you to love more, and when you love no one can hurt you anymore. This is the peace that the TRUTH brings, not the peace we know from our EGOS, not conditional love but unconditional love is the key!

25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 27Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

So let us go to the Father, let us LOVE and let our fear go. Let us embrace the truth and the life of who we are, come to the unity of the faith, seeing that God is bigger than me or you alone, God is all in all, we must expand our understanding and see the whole taking out eyes off the small piece of God that you believed was you, but see God as being bigger than who you thought you were. It is not about one man named Jesus, it is not about you, IT IS ABOUT GOD, and the WHOLE!

28Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. 29And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 30Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

We have forgotten who we were in God, we have forgotten. We have gone away from this truth, but the truth is being revealed again. If you love the TRUTH, you would rejoice! The prince of this world (the anti-christ/ego of ignorant man) has nothing and no claim in TRUTH and LOVE. And this Jesus understood, he shared this great truth but knew that man’s carnal ego would rise up and would not accept it. But one day, this truth will be fully understood and we will cast off that first nature we embraced, we will die to the prince of this world, and we will be ONE!

31But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

SO LET US LOVE AND GET UP FROM WHERE WE ARE AND GO TO THE FATHER!

MEN AS TREES

Last night I came across an interesting passage in the book of Judges, it was an allegory put forth about, Abimelech ruling. Who was not exactly the best King to have. In fact, he became a great example of man’s wickedness, as he introduced idolatry to a people who had once know the love of God. The allegory compared Abimelech to a Bramble, which, for those who don’t know what a bramble is, it is a tangle of thorny underbrush, which can indeed hurt you if you try to pass through it. Here it is below, please read it.

Judges 9
8 The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us.
9 But the olive tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?
10 And the trees said to the fig tree, Come thou, and reign over us.
11 But the fig tree said unto them, Should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?
12 Then said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us.
13 And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?
14 Then said all the trees unto the bramble, Come thou, and reign over us.
15 And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.

Now this is a wonderful parable because notice all the “TREES” that did NOT want to RULE over all the other trees. They were trees that had something wonderful and pleasant to offer. The Olive Tree,The Fig tree, The Grape Vine, these all understood that what they produce would be corrupted if they were to begin judging and ruling over others. They knew their role. Their purpose was to serve, to give, to bring joy, and sustenance. BUT NOT THAT BRAMBLE! That thorny, prickly bramble, was ready to go! It had nothing pleasant to offer, it only had pain to offer those who came near, and YET IT WAS THE BRAMBLE that said I WILL BE KING! And notice what it says next… put your trust in my SHADOW, meaning this Bramble wants the other trees to trust in how IT, the thorny, prickly bramble block out the LIGHT, the very LIGHT that all trees NEED TO LIVE! The Bramble offers nothing but death as King, and if you don’t trust in that death, it will BURN YOU and DEVOUR YOU!

Now doesn’t that sound a lot like the worldly and religious leaders we know. “my way or the high way”. You see the TREES that has goodness to offer, they don’t want to rule, they simply want to be who they are, and bless the world because of it.

Now as wonderful as this allegory is, and as relevant as it for us all to read today. There is another mention of TREES that I want to share with you today. It is the parable of the BLIND MAN who receives his sight and sees MEN AS TREES.

But what I learned from this simple parable, was something that was a big old check to my heart. It put me in my place and taught me, how much I still have to learn.

So let’s start with those passages in the Gospel of Mark, where the Blind Man is given his sight, and first sees men as trees. Why is this is significant? The reason of course is, this blind man, like every other man and woman in scripture is an allegory of you and me. And when the verses are opened up, a new story is revealed that will blow you away.

It starts in Mark 8:22


22And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

Let’s take this piece by piece, because not everything is as it seems in scripture. The bible is a like a book that God has sealed, only to be revealed by God to those he chooses, not of their doing “lest they should boast”. But revealed by the spirit of God, not flesh (carnal reasoning) and bone.

First we come across the word “cometh” – which is a metaphoric word that literally translates into the following: to come into being, arise, come forth, show itself, find place or influence

Now Jesus said he is the “way, truth, and light” – If we take that “he/Jesus” is a physical representation of “the Truth/Way/Light” and the word “come” means “arises, comes into being” – Then we would find a very different story unfolding before our eyes.

The question then becomes, why Bethsaida? Well the answer to that lies in what “Bethsaida” literally means… HOUSE OF FISH.

Matthew 4:19
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men

FISH is a wonderful representation of mankind in their ignorant state. Abiding in the very SEA of DEATH (vain imagination)

Revelation 20:13
And the sea gave up the DEAD which were in it

Yes, that’s right. That is why Jesus walked ABOVE the sea. It is a place of death (carnality). And the SEA OF IGNORANT HUMANITY is where Jesus said we must cast our nets. To deliver those dead there. The FISH are continually compared to ignorant people. People who are not delivered from the bondage of the sea (ignorance).

Ecclesiastes 9:12
For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them

You may remember Jonah, when he refused the way of God, where did he end up? In the belly of a great Fish. Which he called HELL, for that is what HELL truly is, the grave, ignorance, suffering, a prison.

Jonah 2:2
And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of HELL cried I, and thou heardest my voice.

The FISH Jonah was trapped in was his own carnality, his own ignorance. He refused to believe God was in control, thought he could chart his own course, do what HE wanted to do, but God’s will cannot be thwarted and he works all things together for the good of his will/creation.

The Fish is yet another symbol of mankind in its ignorant state, in hell. Which is why, when Jesus was asked to pay that temple tribute, he said…

Matthew 17
25He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

So much for paying tribute to Churches, Temples, Mosques, etc… no, you see the Children of the King do not pay tribute… but you know who does, on a weekly basis? FISH! That’s right.

26Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
27Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Peter got a clue, he understood ONLY STRANGERS to the King. Meaning people who do NOT KNOW THE KING, pay tribute to man-made kingdoms/churches/temples/mosques/etc. So Jesus said, go to the STRANGER, find a fish to pay, because those ignorant FISH believe they must. And in their mouth you will always find MONEY, because that is what FISH (Ignorant Human Beings) treasure the most, what ignorant human beings put their trust in.

So, hopefully you get the idea. So back to this wonderful Parable of the Blind man. We found out that the words “come”, and “Bethsaida” mean, and we know Jesus is a symbol of the risen TRUTH revealed in mankind.


22And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

Now the next part, by now, I hope and pray you understand the symbolism of someone who CANNOT SEE. As a literal BLIND PERSON cannot SEE something, unless someone reveals it to their other senses. So too a spiritually blind person cannot see THE TRUTH, unless it is revealed to him or her.

So now with all of that being said, let me un-veil that passage for you, and interpret it SPIRITUALLY. Remember the literal interpretation KILLS, the SPIRIT of the story GIVES LIFE (WISDOM).

Let me quick translate a few words in this verse from the Greek as well, Besought = called for, summon, TOUCH = to fasten one’s self to, adhere to, join, become one with

22 And THE TRUTH was REVEALED to the HOUSE OF FISH (Ignorant people trapped in hellish thinking) and the TRUTH was brought before the Person who could not SEE the TRUTH, and the ignorant person called for the TRUTH to Become ONE WITH IT!

Do you see how wonderful and vast that one single verse opens up to, when you SEE it for what it really means. This is not a story of a literal blind man, it is the story of you and me, first ignorant of God’s Truth and Wisdom, Blind Spiritually, until the Word of God is revealed to us, THEN WE CALL FOR IT, WE BEG FOR IT to become ONE WITH US, so we can know, so we can finally SEE, and never return to the IGNORANCE of that HOUSE OF FISH (HELL) again.

23And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

Notice what happens ONCE THE TRUTH is revealed to us, IT LEADS US OUT OF THAT TOWN OF IGNORANCE! the Blind man’s eyes (understanding) was a curse to him, it was THOSE EYES (that understanding) that kept the man from SEEING (UNDERSTANDING) the TRUTH.

Now many tell the story about Jesus literally spitting in the man’s eyes, but if you read every other instance in scripture when one is SPAT on, it is not a sign of love and encouragement, but of disapproval and disgust.

This is exactly what the TRUTH does, it hits us smack dab in the face with the FACT that what we once believed is no longer acceptable. We are disgusted by the lies we once believed. In fact, unless we come to a place where we are sickened by anything but God’s truth, which is LOVE, we won’t be able to see a thing. BUT THE INSTANT we are humbled by the revelation of how deceived we have been, the (HAND OF TRUTH) God’s AUTHORITY and GUIDANCE takes hold of us, is laid upon us, and we SEE!

And what do we see at FIRST?

24And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

Now this is significant, because once the TRUTH OF GOD’S LOVE and everything that goes along with it (do unto others as unto yourself, love all, reap what you sow), once we understand this we see EVERYONE as one would see a TREE… And how do we judge a TREE?

Matthew 7:16
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles

Once we are enlightened to the TRUTH, we make the first mistake of JUDGEMENT. We see men as Trees. We see some as Good, and some as Bad. Now this is a necessary step to our spiritual progression, and we all have come to a place where we see people by their fruit…

BUT if that is what God wanted us to see, then why lay the hands (authority/guidance) of his Truth on us again?

The reason is, God wants us no longer to look to the OUTWARD MAN. God wants us to NO LONGER see people as TREES walking around, judging which tress we are to love and which trees to avoid… God wants us to look past the OUTWARD APPEARANCE, past the TREES FRUIT, and see all MANKIND as simply being where they are meant to be, loving them for who they are, regardless of fruit.

25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

Now I for one will say, I have not yet reached this point. As I still see the fruit of people, and as Jesus spit on the blind eyes, I want to spit on the ignorance that is keeping people blind, prejudiced, and hateful too. Yet, now as I write this paper I see there is more than seeing people by their actions and their deeds, I need to see them clearly. To see them as a Father sees a child who knows no better, knowing that the child will one day learn it is better to not touch a hot stove or put his finger in a socket. For truly, one day all men will come to the knowledge of the truth and they will learn it is better to love than hate, better to build than tear down, better to accept and heal, then condemn and destroy. One day, not only will you and I see this clearly and be completely restored, everyone will.

This is why, the very next verse, Jesus makes a very strange demand….

26And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

Once the TRUTH of God is revealed to us, we immediately understand from now on, we only need to turn within (our house/temple of God) to dwell. We are to dwell WITHIN, we learn we no longer must go into the TOWN where we were BLIND, we are NOT to return to those religious places that stole our hearts, and love away. We are not to return to worldly thinking where the cares strangle the TRUTH from our hearts. We are to AVOID AT ALL COST returning to the place that blinded us to begin with.

For many that is an easy task, for others not so easy, but ultimately it does not matter, because each man in his order. So stop seeing men as trees, LIVE AND LOVE, AND SEE CLEARLY ALREADY WILL YA?

Everything’s Gonna Be All Right!

I know a lot of people are hurting today. I know this because I too have my ups and downs, my smiles and frowns, my trials, pain, heartache and sickness like everyone around. But because of my hard times, I am grateful, without them the great treasure of true love I would have never found.

But this entry is specifically for my dear friends, one, (you know who you are Sher Sher!) who I spoke with earlier tonight, and just felt like I didn’t have the right words to say. I hope this entry will say what needs to be said. To help lift up those who are going through truly hard times, those who have lost loved ones, who are ill, who cannot pay their bills, those who feel like there may not be a light at the end of the sad tunnel they find themselves in.

This entry is for all of you, you who I love so dearly, who I wish I could somehow reach down inside your lives and rip your fears, pains, shame, guilt, and sadness away. However, as much as I wish I could, I can’t. We all suffer from the cares of this world, but I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, every bit of our pain will seem as nothing when only the beauty of who we became is revealed and many are healed because of it. All I want you to know is…. every little thing will be all right.

Below is a simple poem I wrote years ago, I wanted to share examples of great and beautiful things that only come from adversity. I hope it gives you the hope you need, in your time of need. Because I promise you, even these hard times are paving the way for a life we never could have imagined, a life that is indeed a dream come true, a life we all will find.

But first, an old original song I wrote years ago. It’s called “Everything is going to be all right” sung by yours truly, and no I won’t quit my day job so don’t worry about me trying to go off and start a singing career. I just hope the below song and poem helps heal the wounds we have all recieved “in the house of our friends”. Jacob

GROWING PAINS

Where would the flowers be without the manure to help them grow?
Could they ever bloom without their seeds first placed in a deep, dark, horrible hole?

Can a sunrise be as beautiful, if there was never a dark night to rise above?
Can a relationship be as strong without parts of us that are hard to love?

If not for the suffering of the oyster, there would be no pearl left behind.
Laughter would not be as wonderful, if tears never first came to our eyes.

How could we become patient, if we never had to wait?
Could wine be as sweet without the smashing and squeezing of the grape?

Like the flower and its seed, we may feel trapped and believe we will never break free.
Like the sun, we may wonder when will be our time to shine.
We may feel alone because so many seem to hurt us all the time.

We may be sick. We may hurt like the oyster for the pearl.
We may have lost everything that seemed to matter to us in the world.

We may cry, fail, and like the grape we may be put beneath another’s feet.
But there is more to our life’s trials for our eyes to meet.

So hold on, you will rise, you will shine, you will finally be free.
We all have days like these, but these are not the days that will always be.
Your moment is coming. It is not as far away you as you have believed.
Life has been our teacher, preparing us, guiding us, and one day we all will see.
We may feel like a prisoner now, but because of it, soon we will all know what it is like to be free.

When a bad dream gets out of control we wake up because the suffering is to great for us to know. This is why we suffer, why we cry, why we endure, our present suffering are forcing us to understand that there is more.

You are not your body, your pain is not your own. These are like nightmares that aren’t really true but this you don’t yet know. But soon, even these sufferings will force you to wake up on your own. It is then you will see, you are God’s child and you will rule your life from God’s throne!

COME IN THE LORD’S NAME?

So what does it mean to “come” in the name of the Lord? And who is the one who does this? Is it Jesus? Is it a prophet? Is it us? Is it God? Well, as always many religious organizations believe they have this figured out. However, and of this I am certain, not everything you hear from religious leaders is true. In fact, in my years of study I have found much of what is commonly held as the “gospel” truth couldn’t be farther than the good news I know many of you reading today have come to know. (Not of your doing of course!)

Matthew 16:17
Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.

You don’t “come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the truth” by your own egotistical effort. As so many like you quote…

2 Peter 1
20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

YES! It’s all about the REVELATION of things. And this is not of our own will, but these revelations are gifts given to us by God, reveald to us by that Holy Spirit within us which brings all things to our remembering. In other words, these are righteoues thoughts that flood our mind with truth, separating the DARK (ignorant thoughts) from the LIGHT (thoughts of truth), helping us to distinguish between them, and more importantly which thought we should heed and which we should discard.

To find out what it means to truly “Come in the name of the Lord”, I couldn’t just sit down and begin to write what “I believed” to be true. First I had an idea of what it might mean. Some people call it an epiphany (which by the way is defined as “something manifested”). And what a revelation I had. It began with the following scripture.

Matthew 23:39
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

At face value, this scripture sounds like it is speaking of Jesus the man. And that the unbelievers wouldn’t see JESUS the man, again until there were happy to see… Jesus the man. RIGHT?

Sorry but that is not the case. That is not even close to what that scripture means. So let’s go up a couple of verses here in Matthew to put some things in perspective.

Matthew 23:37-39
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

38Behold, YOUR HOUSE is left unto you desolate.

39For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Did you notice what is left Desolate? It is THE HOUSE of God which is left DESOLATE. And of course, we are the HOUSE OF GOD, for those that don’t know that, God dwells in us, we are the TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD… But let’s stick with that word, DESOLATE for a moment.

Now that word sounds like it means, God departs from us completely. UNTIL, of course, we say BLESSED IS “HE” that comes in the name of the Lord. First let me point out the WORD DESOLATE translates better into “SOLITARY, LONELY” – Like a wife left by her husband, OR sheep no longer being led by a Shephard…

Now why does a Hen gather her chicks under her wings? Well there are many reasons, warm is one, but the main reason is protection. Under the wings of a Hen, a baby chick which doesn’t know any better will bot follow after the fox and end up as lunch. And so this is a great allegory for us. Because without the guidance and protection of the Hen, the chicks lives are always in danger. Under the wing of the Hen, the chicks really cannot go where they want, they are fed, warm, and secure. But once they decide to follow after their own will and not after the will of one that knows better, they become lunch!

This is exactly what is happening in Religion today. It is no different than thousands of years ago. In Jerusalem, they were buying and selling in the temple, saving the choice seats for the important people in the temples, making long prayers, wearing expensive and gaudy outfits, bragging about all they do for the (body of believers), condemning those that aren’t part of their particular faith, the list goes on and on. Today we see the same thing, right outside of the “sanctuary” we see tables sets up with all sorts of books, videos, dvd’s, oils, tamboreens, etc. Today they are still selling the sacrifice in the outer court, within the choice seats are still saved for the “important people”, the leaders are still dressing to the nines and living like rock stars, and yes they still brag to their congregations about how important it is to give your money, and how much they themselves give. As the scripture says,

Ecclesiastes 1:9
What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.

So it is nothing shocking that the HOUSE (mankind’s soul) is left desolate (LONELY, FEELING ALONE, DESERTED and WITHOUT GUIDANCE) … And the reason is simple. Religion teaches Man is in control, God teaches man has not control. So when man goes about to establish his own righteousness (which is as filthy rags) he begins to live out of the assumption that HE OR SHE is in control and that God is somehow far away, or waiting to come again. (Sound familiar?)

But in this scripture, Jesus said,

Matthew 23:39
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Now does this mean you won’t physically and literally see Jesus the man until you can say, YEAH JESUS YOU ARE THE BEST AND BLESSED? Once again the answer is NO!

Jesus is not speaking of literally SEEING HIM, what he is speaking of is understanding what he understands, knowing what he knows. It never EVER had anything to do with literally SEEING Jesus, as Jesus was always focused on showing GOD WITHIN!

John 14:9
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father

And since NO ONE CAN LITERALLY SEE GOD at any time, this has nothing to do with literally seeing Jesus as God. But it has everything to do with Jesus the man Revealing God through his words, his actions, and most importantly his fruit, LOVE!

John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him

So no one can literally SEE GOD, but the SON declares him, reveals him to others. And THAT is what Jesus was sent to do, as we are sent to do, to be LIVING EPISTLES READ OF ALL MEN!

So while this scripture may seem to indicate that Jesus is saying, “You won’t see me literally, physically again until you are happy to see me,” the truth of what is REALLY being said is far from that. In addition is has more to do with you, me, and humanity as a whole than it does one single man named Jesus.

Let’s look at the last part of this scripture, UNTIL we can say, “BLESSED IS “HE” THAT COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD”.

As I wrote earlier, this does not mean JESUS doesn’t return until we are excited and want to see him, WAITING FOR JESUS TO RETURN IS ACTUALLY THE PROBLEM. One of the biggest problems there is today. Because it takes our eyes off the true relationship with God within us, and places God outside of us, far from us, making this God not only seem distant for a God who forsakes us and leaves us. Which, many Christians teach today, sadly.

But what this REALLY MEANS is we WON’T SEE (UNDERSTAND/PERCIEVE) the TRUTH (that Jesus revealed)until “we” UNDERSTAND that IT IS US that WILL REVEAL CHRIST.

We will continue to believe we are ALONE in this world if we believe that God is somehow far from us. And the lies of religion aren’t doing us any favors, by teaching everyone to “invite” Christ to come in OUR HEART, as if WE DON’T ALL HAVE OUR EXISTENCE IN GOD AND CHRIST TO BEGIN WITH.

Acts 17:28
For in him we live, and move, and have our being.

Our life is HID in CHRIST. Which means WE HAVE LIFE! The problem is the ONLY WAY TO FIND THIS LIFE IS TO UNDERSTAND WHO WE ARE, AS CHRIST! To find our life, we must find Christ first! And we don’t have to look far.

Colossians 1:27
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

So for those religious leaders that teach that God’s holy Spirit which is Christ is somehow far away in a distant galaxy, waiting for you to say a certain “sinners prayer” you’re sadly mistaken. That belief is a believing in another god, one that hates, one that is distant, and one that is easily thwarted by man’s will. This distant Angry God Man created, so CARNAL MAN (who killed the TRUTH) could continue to rule, as God.

This is what the whole fall in the garden is all about. The Fall takes place in us, the instant we start eating from the TREE OF “WE ARE IN CONRTOL, WE KNOW WHAT PLEASES GOD AND WHAT DOESN’T, WE KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS WRONG” – Eating (becoming one with the fruit of this line of thinking), eating from this TREE (the carnal mind) indeed makes man believe man is god, in control, and that everything is dependent on the decisions man makes. But that is what the problem is.

If we begin to say that God is far from us, Christ is waiting to return, and we choose when and how. That makes us god in our deceived minds and keeps us from trusting God, as Jesus did.

Here are some of his greatest hits, “I can do nothing of myself”,”Not my will but thine”, “the words I speak the Father tells me to speak”, “the things I do the Father shows me to do”… Truly nothing can thwart God’s will, and this is what WE MUST UNDERSTAND! That God is in control of EVERYTHING, once we accept this than we enter into his rest, we cease from our labour and accept who he says we are… HIS CHILDREN!

I know this is very hard for many of you to receive, but WE are the VERY BODY in WHICH CHRIST will APPEAR! That is the mystery, CHRIST IS IN YOU, CHRIST IS YOU, CHRIST IS ALL THERE HAS EVER BEEN. The anointing of God’s Holy Spirit is our life! But if we are waiting for a separate man to return, we will be waiting a long time. We need to be excited about this, we need to accept who God has made us to be, and be with who made us to be by simply resting and trusting God is in control.

Now once you realize that WE are the BODY OF CHRIST, the MIND OF CHRIST, and have the NAME OF CHRIST… once we understand we are CHRIST, then we will be able to TRULY SAY, “BLESSED ARE THOSE that COME (ARE REVEALED) in the NAME (true nature) of the LORD” – We will see that those who understand the TRUTH of who they are, “GOD’S CHILD”, are blessed.

Now I know in scripture, we see Jesus arriving many different ways, in the clouds, (clouds are witnesses by the way), riding a white horse, as lightning, rain, etc. etc… But I want you to understand that each and every one of these are allegories, ARE US!

When Jesus came into town, many flipped out. They were so excited to see and hear this man, that they had heard was coming. Others expected to see a conquering savior riding a proud white stallion, yet this Savior came in riding a meek ass and colt.

Matthew 21:5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

Okay, here’s a little nugget you might find interesting, a COLT is a HORSE under the AGE OF FOUR. The number four, forty, etc… are symbolic numbers of testing and trying, (a pregnancy of sorts (40 weeks)) before you WAKE out of your slumber of death (Ignorance). Lazarus was dead for FOUR days for example.

John 11:39
Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

You see the ANIMAL, Jesus comes riding in on in scripture isn’t yet fully mature, and we are not fully mature. This is an allegory of how that TRUTH begins its ministry in our heart.

Now even though it sounds like I am putting all the focus on the symbolism here. You have to remember that the physical, literal world is needed to relay these spiritual truths. That’s right, I am not saying there wasn’t a literal Jesus, sitting on a literal ass, not at all. I am simply stating what may, or may not, have literally happened, happened for us to UNDERSTAND the SPIRITUAL MEANING OF IT.

The Temporal (SEEN) world always bears witness of the ETERNAL UNSEEN world within.

Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

And yes, that goes for your life as well. From how you live your life, to where you work, how you behave, who you befriend, to what car you drive, pets you have, etc… All symbolism of what is going on SPIRITUALLY.

I know it sounds far out, but there is significance to whether your bedroom is a dirty mess or not. If it faces the sun or does not. If you live in a basement apart, or own a two-floor home.

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is here to teach us about the only TRUTH there is, GOD and HIS CHRIST (us) who we FORGOT WE ARE.

The CHRIST that DIED for US (Who we think we are/ Our CARNAL Ego).

The truth of who we are was killed by who we think we are. As Cane killed Abel, our first natural carnal man (OUR EGO), killed the spiritual nature (OUR LIFE/CHRIST).

The good news is, the first Man (Adamic thinking) will be last, and the last man (Christ is/as Us) will be First into the KINGDOM OF GOD.

Acts
4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom YOU crucified, whom God raised from the DEAD, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

People see this scripture and believe it speaks of something that happened two thousand years ago. That other’s crucified Christ and God raised Christ from one man’s death, as opposed to seeing that the DEAD that are raised is ALL OF HUMANITY (lost in Ignorant Carnal THINKING). We are the “DEAD” God raises Christ from.

1 Corinthians 15:22
For as in Adam ALL die, even so in Christ shall ALL be made alive.

We are the “GRAVE” Christ rises from.

Matthew 27:52
And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose.

Luke 11:44
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for YOU ARE AS GRAVES which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.

This is why when he (WE) is RESSURECTED, the BODY OF CHRIST, comes out of their GRAVES (tombs of false beliefs)

John 5:28
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which ALL that are in the graves (IGNORANCE/HELL) shall HEAR his voice.

Look a GRAVE is something that helps people remember THE LIFE THAT ONCE WAS… This is humanity in a nutshell, walking around DEAD wishing for LIFE. But those that are DEAD in their GRAVES (IGNORANCE) will HEAR (PERCIEVE) the Truth (his voice) and will LIVE! – Obviously this scripture is not talking about literal dead people, literal dead people cannot literally hear anything.

No the DEAD, are the CARNAL MINDED!

Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Notice as long as you are ignorant (carnally minded) you are DEAD, but once you come to the TRUTH, you finally know LIFE AND PEACE! This is what we are all coming into, this day, this resurrection, REJOICE ALREADY!

John 5:25
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live

To be CARNALLY MINDED is DEATH. This is the DEATH Christ rises from, the TOMB of our false beliefs that CHRIST is LOOSED from.

We’re not talking Night of the Living Dead stuff here, we are talking about SYMBOLISM.
Just as the COLT’S ASS is also symbolism of US, in our IGNORANT state.

Job 11:12
For vain MEN would be wise, though man be born like a wild ASS’S COLT.

Mankind is BORN like an ASS’S COLT… An immature BEAST OF BURDEN.

John 12:15
Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass’s colt.

This is the way CHRIST comes into the world, riding US. But first we must be LOOSED of the ignorant chains that keep us bound.

Matthew 21:2
Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

This is also our job as Sons and Daughters of God, to find those that are BURDENED and TIED and BOUND by the lies of the world, to LOOSE them and BRING THEM TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH, which is CHRIST IN THEM.

Salvation is not belief in a man from thousands of years ago, salvation is here and now, WITHIN YOU. You cannot find freedom believing in something OUTSIDE of yourself, or waiting for someone to come again. You can only know FREEDOM by understanding YOU NEED NOT WAIT to be Free.

Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in ANY OTHER: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

You WILL NOT FIND SALVATION in any OTHER. You will ONLY FIND SALVATION WITHIN… Yet, so many are trying to find salvation in ANOTHER. As opposed to the TRUTH that is WITHIN.

The ONLY way to be saved is to let go of everything that is NOT TRUE, AND TAKE HOLD of the TRUTH of GOD, which is ALL IN ALL.

We need to stop believing the lies we have been taught, we need to put our faith WITHIN GOD and stop placing GOD without. Stop waiting for someone to save you and understand that SALVATION is for ALL.

Luke 3:6
And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

And ALL carnal people shall come to the KNOWLEDGE OF THIS GREAT TRUTH and the STATURE OF THE PERFECT MAN (CHRIST).

Ephesians 4:13
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ

This is our SALVATION, to have the KNOWLEDGE of WHO WE ARE… We WILL BECOME THE PERFECT MAN (image of God)

Luke 1:77
To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins.

The whole point of Jesus’ ministry was to GIVE KNOWLEDGE of SALVATION to others, to show them that the only way to SALVATION was the REMISSION of SIN. But what does that mean?

The DISEASE of SIN must go into REMISSION, as any disease goes into remission. It’s signs and symptoms must go away.

So we must first understand what SIN is, to see why it needs to go bye, bye.

Psalm 69:5
O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

Proverbs 24:9
The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.

It is our FOOLISH thinking that needs to go away. The lies we believe, the thoughts that God is far away, and not OUR LIFE. Who is the FOOL AGAIN?

Psalm 14:1
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

To believe in a DISTANT God is to NOT BELIEVE in God, and to BE A FOOL. To believe MAN is GOD is to NOT BELIEVE in God and be a FOOL. Many say Jesus the man is God. But we know…

Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Now, God may not BE A MAN, but GOD IS IN THE MAN. Because God is in CHRIST (the ANNOINTED ONE) and CHRIST is IN MAN.

2 Corinthians 5:19
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself.

Now, let’s use simple Logic. “Christ IN you” “God in Christ” – there is no need to be waiting for any return, God never left us, our thoughts left GOD. But even this was part of the plan.

So, to find salvation we need to stop putting faith in a dead flesh man named Jesus (OUTSIDE OF US), and UNDERSTAND we are in fact the DEAD JESUS thinking God forsook us, and the CHRIST that will RISE FROM OUR DEATH (ignorance) – We need to start putting our faith in the God that is WITHIN us all… this is our HOPE OF GLORY, CHRIST.

*The Glory by the ways is “The hidden thing” – It is the GLORY OF GOD TO CONCEAL A THING. Christ comes (is revealed) in the glory of God (the which was hidden within us)

John 17:22
And the glory (revealed truth) which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one.

THERE IS NO DIVISION IN ONE. ONE is ALL THERE IS. And until you understand this, your house will be left DESOLATE – (you will believe God is far from you, and you will be as the prodigal starving from unity and love in a land of famine) – But once you understand that BLESSED IS HE (anyone) who COMES (who is revealed) IN THE NAME (nature) OF THE LORD… Then you will SEE THE SALVATION OF YOUR HEART. And YOU will know who you are, and GOD’s CHRIST will be GLORIFIED WITHIN YOU!

2 Thessalonians 1:10
When he shall come to be glorified IN HIS SAINTS, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

SO COME IN THE NAME OF THE LORD ALREADY WILL YOU?

FEAR NOT!

“FEAR NOT”

You have to love those two words. “Fear Not”, is used, according to a simple Biblegateway search of the KiNg James, some 63 times. I wanted to point this out, because many “Christians” today say that Jesus mentioned the word “Hell” more than anything else in the scriptures, yet the word “hell” (which by the way literally translates into (Grave, Death, Hidden place, Valley, Lamentation, Pit) yet even this word appears far less than the words “Fear Not” in scripture. But what is more interesting is this false belief that Jesus spoke about “Hell” more than anything else. Search the scriptures and you will see the amount of times Jesus mentions, speaks about, or teaches about the word “Love” dwarfs the amount of times “hell” is mentioned in the entire canon of scripture.

Now this article isn’t meant to disprove the nonsense teaching today of infinite torture, read my article “To hell with Hell”, or the “Lake of Fire Revealed” for that. I am simply using that as a jumpstart to this essay. You, like many others, have probably never taken the time to see if Jesus really spoke about “hell” more than anything else as so many “Christians” claim. That is our problem as a body of believers really, and in society as a whole… we simply take people’s word for things instead of going and seeking the Truth for ourselves.

1 Corinthians 11:18-20
18…I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it. 19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

This is why we see so much division today, in the world, in religion, in our own hearts. We have been fed a steady diet of lies and fear that people truly don’t know what to believe, until it is “made manifest to them”, until these lies are revealed.

I don’t know about you, but I am tired of living a life of fear, worry, debate, and self loathing. I want to come out from under the hand of sorrow, get out of this valley of the shadow of death, and walk into that peace that passes understanding. The question is, how does one get there? How do we become HAPPY?

Proverbs 3:13
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding

1 Kings 10:8
Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom

Job 5:17
Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty

John 13
15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

So to be happy we MUST, listen to the truth, hear wisdom, allow God to correct us, and do as Jesus did. Simple right? AHHHHHH NOPE!

This is why our lives are so hard, because we are learning that OUR WAY is not the RIGHT WAY. In scripture we are warned of the “Strange Woman”, an allegorical character that represents our carnal ego. She is also known as the whore of Babylon, the adulterous woman, etc… she a representation of any thought process that leads you away from the Truth of God (path of life) into the ignorance of our carnal mind (hell). In this next proverb, pay attention to how we find out way out.

Proverbs 5
1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:
2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.
3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:
4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.
6 Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.

Our minds are flooded with thoughts that drag us into the pits of ignorance, pain, hate, and suffering. And it is easy when someone does us wrong to follow that thought process (strange woman’s lips) and end up in an emotional hell where you simply would rather end it all than live another day. BUT NOTICE HOW WE KEEP OURSELVES FROM THIS?

We keep the TRUTH, in our hearts and minds. We continue to ponder (think about) the path of Life (the truth of God). And most importantly we TRUST GOD, leaning not on our ignorance, but on the TRUTHS set before us… LOVE, LOVE, LOVE (that is the TRUTH, we must keep).

Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding

I know how hard this is. But IF we want to be happy and have peace in this world, we MUST TRUST THAT EVERYTHING IS GOING ACCORDING TO GOD’S PLAN! When we are hurt, WE MUST NOT HURT BACK, we must find forgiveness immediately! When we begin to feel overwhelmed, and begin to hate our situations, we must understand that the moment is TEMPORARY and until we can simply TRUST THE PLAN and see each day, and each perceived problem in our lives as a necessary tool to get us to that place where we Trust God, Hold Unto Truth and Wisdom, and do as Jesus did. If we don’t TRUST GOD (who works all things together for HIS WILL, and HIS WILL is that all be saved from the pain in their lives (look it up)), if we don’t TRUST that all is well in the world and in our lives, we will never be free from the pain of FEAR.

This is why the words “Fear Not” as used so often. We are told to take no thought for our lives, basically we are told, stop worrying about your bills, your health, your children, your relationships, the weather, the government, the future… the list of fears go on and on. And if Religion were to have her way, you would also be tricked into fearing things that don’t even literally exist (infinite torture, a rapture, the end of the world, demons, and the scary character named the DEVIL (who is nothing more than YOUR CARNAL EGO).

You see, I understand how hard it is for us to have peace, when we are daily bombarded with everything that is wrong in our lives and in the world. Most people have such a problem with life that they want to find some sense of peace and what do they do, they do what I did, they go to Church and like me they then get more fears added unto them. They are told YOU ARE NO GOOD, you are a sinner doomed for hell, (not because of anything you did of course, it was Adam’s fault) LOL, then you are told that you have to do all these things to escape this future torture, WHICH YOU KNEW NOTHING ABOUT UNTIL YOU WERE LOOKING FOR THE GOOD NEWS AND PEACE! Life is HELL in this world as it for most of us, then to go looking for peace and to only find… WHAT? MORE BAD NEWS! Are you kidding me? How could anyone find peace in that? Then to be fed a constant diet of how people who don’t do what your particular church does, or believe what they believe, is damned. So of course, people don’t find peace and happiness in that. They become bitter and fill themselves with religious (I know better than you) pride, and then those people become more screwed up then they were before they darkened those church doors.

Matthew 23:15
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.

But becoming a member of a certain Church isn’t going to save you! Doing what religious men and women tell you, isn’t going to save you, all that does is keep you in a constant state of FEAR, where you worry you may lose your salvation if you don’t do this or pay that. The problem is, they are missing the point completely, THEY NEED TO BE SAVED FROM THE PAIN OF THEIR OWN LIVES AND THEIR IGNORANCE!

This is what we need salvation from, not the future which doesn’t exist for us, or our past which no longer exists for us. Yet isn’t it our future and past that CONSUMES US?

Another one of Jesus’ favorite expressions is “Take not thought” – take no thought about what you will wear, eat, drink, what you should say or not say, TAKE NO THOUGHT…

Matthew 6:34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.

The RELIGIOUS want to keep you scared to death, and keep your eyes on the FUTURE FATE OF THE WORLD! They are constantly bragging about visions, and other nonsense about these so-called END OF DAYS!

AS IF PEOPLE DON’T HAVE ENOUGH TO WORRY ABOUT IN THEIR OWN LIVES? These religious leaders just add piles and piles on bias, fear, condemnation, regret, shame, and more unto all the dumb sheep that haven’t yet learned, IT IS TIME TO SEEK GOD WITHIN FOR YOURSELF!

If God wanted us to constantly worry about our future fate, or feel bad about our past, he would have told us… YET the man Jesus spoke God’s truth in saying…

Matthew 6:34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.

Take no thought! DON’T WORRY! FEAR NOT! It will ALL WORK OUT! One day because of all you are going through, when you TRUST GOD, KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE OF LOVE, and PUT OTHERS BEFORE YOURSELF, then you will HAPPY! And ALL THINGS ARE WORKING TOGETHER TO GET YOU THERE!

Romans 14:22
Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth

We have to STOP being so hard on ourselves people. We are not bad, we are not ugly, we are not despised or rejected, GOD HAS NOT LEFT US OR FORSAKEN US, God is correcting us, trying to wake us out of the slumber of fear, worry, and shame, that everyone from our parents, to our teachers, religious leaders, and even our neighbors have banged into our heads. If there was ever a nightmare called HELL it truly is the DEATH OF IGNORANCE!

And remember, the punishment for falling out of sync with God was never infinite torture it was DEATH!

Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

And what is DEATH?

Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace

Death is what we are ALL walking around in right now, if we suffer. I am not above it. There are days I don’t feel like I can go on, days I cry, days I wish I never came into this world, but in those days, ALWAYS in the back of my mind I KNOW THE TRUTH! I know that those thoughts of FEAR are not real, I know FEAR is not of God, so everything I have fear, shame, guilt or regret about something, I stop and remind myself, GOD IS IN CONTROL, and I start again. Because I know that the MOMENT is all that matters, not the past, not the future.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind

Here again we see what GOD GIVES US is LOVE, PEACE, LIFE, A SOUND MIND! So guess what, everything else AINT REAL! And we need to take our fearful thoughts captive, and cast those imaginations down. We need to say, THIS IS NOT THE TRUTH OF MY LIFE, I HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, I AM A GOOD PERSON, I AM GODS CHILD IN WHOM GOD IS WELL PLEASED!

2 Corinthians 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Any THOUGHT that becomes more important to you in the moment, besides thoughts of LIFE, LOVE, PEACE, than those “branches” of thought that are not rooted in “Christ”, LIFE, WISDOM, POWER, LOVE AND PEACE, as jesus said, must be cast into the fire (destroyed, wiped away from our thinking). Because these are not TREES GOD PLANTS!

John 15:5-7
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Many use this passage to back up the deceptive teacher of infinite torture, but really look at what the scripture is saying. Christ (the way, light, truth, love, power and wisdom of God) is the vine, we are EXTENSIONS of that VINE. MEANING WE ARE ALL ONE! Our root source, our life spring, where we come from is LIFE, LOVE, LIGHT, POWER, WISDOM, THE WAY! Now if we don’t abide (understand who we are at our center (Christ)) then we bring fruit and our lives are filled with purpose, and peace. But if we don’t abide (live) in the LIFE and we detach ourselves from the unity and trust that is only found in understanding who you really are at your core (Christ), then your life will becom a curse to you. Spiritually you will decay, and the thoughts that are causing you pain will eventually land you in trials like that of being cast into the fire. These trials, and hard times are meant to BURN AWAY the thoughts that have you thinking you are something you are not. But more importantly, this fire (which is the testing of your faith) is going to burn away all of your FEAR, because FEAR is truly the root of all suffering.

I know there will be many religious teachers that say FEAR IS IMPORTANT, it is the BEGINNING of wisdom, we should be scared of God, for he is a God to be feared! First let me point out what a Good Father is, a good father is a loving Father, a fair and just Father, a Father you trust and want to please not because you are scared of Him, but because HE LOVED YOU FIRST, SO YOU LOVE HIM!

And secondly, as I said, many people use FEAR to motivate people into believing particular religious beliefs. “fear if the Lord is the BEGINNING of WISDOM!” – NOTICE that scripture does not say, FEAR OF GOD IS THE END OF WISDOM, it is quiet the opposite, it is the BEGINNING!

In fact, when we begin anything in LIFE, fear is found at the beginning of that experience. Whether it is riding a bike for the first time, going on the school bus for the first time, starting a new job, ANYTHING THAT IS NEW begins with a sense of FEAR…. but that is not the middle of the experience, and definitely not the end of the experience…. No it is not the END where we find FEAR, IT IS THE BEGINNING. Because at the beginning of our coming to understand the truth about God and ourselves we fear, but when we become wise we learn there was nothing to fear, EVER!

The Beginning of Wisdom may be fear, BUT LOOK WHAT THE END IS!

Ecclesiastes 7:8
Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof

Fear is the Beginning of our journey here, but the END IS LIFE, LOVE, POWER AND PEACE! And that is so much better than the beginning indeed!

I know things are hard for many of us right now. But I want you to trust that you are going to come out of this valley with Goodness and Mercy, for it is following you!

Isaiah 54:6-8
6 The LORD will call you back
as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit— a wife who married young,
only to be rejected,” says your God

We will return to His Rest, we will find joy and peace, God is calling us back, God is using all of our pain and hurt as a shepherd uses his staff to guide the Sheep to the Sheep gate. Like Paul, we must learn that it hurts to fight against the situations in our lives, we must simply accept them and keep our mind on the TRUTH, LOVE!

Acts 26:14
And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks

ONE DAY WE WILL WAKE UP AND REALIZE – it is YOU AND ME that we are PERSECUTING! Daily we ignorantly persecute our true nature (Christ), and in so doing we suffer, but one day we will see the vanity of such actions and we will stop fighting to hold unto our egotistical lives, and we will lose that, to save the TRUE LIFE of CHRIST WITHIN US!

So for a moment, things will be hard, but HAPPY will you be when you TRUST THE PLAN, LET GOD OF YOUR CONTROL, LOVE OTHERS, SERVE OTHERS, and most importantly HAPPY are those that don’t condemn themselves and do good! So LIVE your life, don’t let fear, shame, regret, or worry rob you of the TRUTH, that you are God’s Child in Whom He is Well Pleased! So stop beating yourself up and rejoice! Stop allowing other people’s issues to steal your joy, they are not your issues they are theirs, take criticism as an hour glass takes sand, let it pass right through you. Don’t believe the fearful things you hear people say, live for the moment, live for love, LIVE FOR YOUR LIFE and you will find death no more!

You Are The Lights of The World

The whole of Christianity revolves around one common belief and theme, and that is, THE ONLY WAY FOR SALVATION is to have faith and confess in Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World. Now there is debate over what that means, how one must accept Jesus, whether or not they need to be baptised, when they need to be baptised, what they must do to hang unto that salvation, whether those saved are predetermined, whether it is free will and one must choose, whether only a few are saved or all of humanity it saved. Now if you think that list is dizzying, just wait until you are told what else you have to do by many denominations within Christianity. Well the article I offer today, will prove it is never really “You” (who you think you are) that does the work, it is God. You will see as scripture states that everyone will eventually comes to the unity of the faith, knowledge of the truth and stature of the perfect man. Look to prove that scripture teaches the ultimate salvation of all of mankind is a simple task. Many, many scriptures prove this… below are a few.

Philippians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Isaiah 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Romans 14:11For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

1 Timothy 2:4 Who (GOD) will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

There is a growing number of people who believe, that GOD WILL FINISH HIS CREATION in VICTORY. Meaning, everyone will be saved. And as great as that is, I still believe many don’t know what it is they are saved from. Well, if you believe you are saved from place of infinite torture in a place called hell, I have news for you. You are in Hell in this world, when you are ignorant of who you are, who God is, and how God is in control of all things. Hell is the suffering caused by our ignorance, and yes we are saved from this mindset. But truly it is our carnal ego, (who we thought we were) that we need saving from. This is that anti-christ that is sitting on the throne of God declaring himself to be God, (who you thought you were, or think you are, your carnal ego).

Let me give you a short explanation. The Throne of God is your mind/heart. If you believe you have total free will, that means WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE is in fact sitting in the place of God, saying you are God and you are in complete control. The number of that beast is 666… Human beings are carbon based lifeforms, 6 protons, 6 electrons, 6 neutrons. 6 is the NUMBER OF NATURAL MAN. Most people know themselves after their physical body, and the physical world around them. They judge everything outwardly and THAT is the big problem. God is spirit, and the physical is merely a projection of what is happening within. Everything outside of us, is meant to lead us within to the source.

Romans 2
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God

Life is not about what is outside of us, it is ALL ABOUT WHAT IS WITHIN US! And that is what this essay is about. That is the amazing truth that I hope to share. But if you have any questions on some of the topics I have mentioned so far, on this blog I have in-depth papers written, on the anti-christ, hell, salvation, etc… so for the purpose of time, after reading this paper please go to the search bar and search for these essays for more info.

I will state also, all of us have our ideas about the things of God. But truly God’s ways are past our finding out, human intellect and reasoning just doesn’t do the trick. So no degree from a Christian university makes one an authority on the things of God, a collar or title doesn’t make one an authority on the things of God. Only God makes one and authority on the things of God, and he saves this wonderful wisdom for those that seem foolish, for those who you would least expect to hear it from, he saves it for those who do not think highly of themselves, those He gives the desire to. The desire to “Know the truth regardless of the cost”… Then these things MUST CLICK WITHIN, they must be revealed. So how does one know if what I write or another writes is true? Well you SEEK God with a pure heart, asking God to lead, and guide. It is good to study papers, essays, and articles written by men, but TEST the spirits always, seek, and you shall find if they be true. (Including the ones I write, as I am NOT the authority, God WITHIN is.)

To let you know what I believe is simple. I am not like many, who say, you can believe whatever you want, live anyway you want and know salvation… I believe there is only ONE WAY to the Father and that is through the SON. You cannot be SAVED (free from the bondage of this world/carnal thoughts and the cares of this world) unless you come to the knowledge of who you TRULY ARE IN CHRIST, and when you do you will know CHRIST (The Word of God which is TRUTH, the Wisdom and Power of God).

You are saved by knowing the TRUTH, it is the TRUTH that sets you free. It isn’t until you have this wisdom that you will be saved (from yourself/ego).

But how does one come to know that he needs to be saved from the false image of who he thinks he is, when almost every denomination teaches you need to be saved from an event in the future, and that you are saved by an event in the future, meaning you are saved from Hell, and must wait for Jesus the Flesh man to return… I’m sorry to say, you will not find either in this life, regardless of how many preachers, priests, or religious teachers say “the time is close”…

There is so much division in Christianity today. Thousands of different beliefs, hundreds of different traditions, and each denomination seems to be at odds with the other. Each denomination claims to be right. Yet, scripture tells us…

1 Corinthians 1:10
…that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment

And with all the division we see among these churches everywhere, there are fewer subjects greeted with as much passion, and defense, as the divinity, or lack of divinity, of Jesus of Nazareth.

The only thing many seem to agree on, is JESUS CHRIST (the flesh man) being SAVIOR. But they have no idea what this REALLY MEANS.

They focus on the outward man, not the inward man. They put their faith in a man from two thousand years ago, and say THAT MAN IS MY SAVIOR, and never once consider what THAT MAN was truly teaching at all.

1) That as he is the light of the world, SO ARE WE
2) That we MUST do as he did, “become Christ”, death to ourself/ego and resurrection/enlightenment.
3) That he is the first among many
4) That he was the word revealed to men, and that we are living epistles to be read of all men
5) That we are to be ONE with God as Jesus was One with God

Seeing yourself as the SON of GOD, the same as Jesus the man, today is something that is taboo to even discuss. But even Jesus pointed out that even the scriptures teach this, when he brought Psalms 82 to his condemners attention.

Psalm 82:6
I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High

We are ALL CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH, the problem is most refuse to believe it.

Now I don’t want to get ahead of myself here. But simply consider that we are all part of the same body. And if the same body, then the same as the head of the body. We are all ruled by God, as my fingers are ruled by the thoughts that precede them and force them to type these words. We are all ONE, AND THE SAME. When we understand this and see others as ourselves and do unto others as we want done to ourselves we will truly become free. LOVE is the KEY!

1 Peter 4:8
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”

Notice the words, ABOVE ALL THINGS… love is the highest priority. Is that not evident in Jesus’ teaching?

Luke 10
27 So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”
28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”

But let me get right into this paper already!

Many say the Gospel of John Chapter One holds the key to Jesus’ divinity. So, this is what this paper will be about. And I pray it opens our eyes to what is really being said in these verses. Let us find out, who “Jesus Christ” is and how this man and his story relates to us.

We will do all this be dissecting the words in these verses of John Chapter One and pray the truth of it all opens up to us. As it is the GLORY OF GOD to CONCEAL (Hide) a thing. And Christ (TRUTH) comes (Is revealed) in the GLORY OF GOD (Hidden Truth).

Let’s begin:

JOHN 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

“In the beginning” is straightforward, as the word “beginning” is the same word used in Genesis 1, when God created. However, the rest of the verse, and the definitions of these seemingly insignificant words like (was, with) open the door to an alternate view of this first verse.

The word “was” in this verse translates into “I WAS”, denoting past tense. To truly understand what we are talking about, we must understand that “The Word” is TRUTH.


Psalms 119 “The sum of thy Word is TRUTH”

So we are not talking about the literal man Jesus Christ here. The MAN Jesus Christ didn’t appear on scene until about two thousand years, or so, ago. In fact, in this Chapter, Jesus isn’t mentioned until later… It is the WORD/GOD’S TRUTH that is mentioned here. Which is TRUTH and SPIRIT, which was in the BEGINNING.

God is SPIRIT and TRUTH. “Your WORD oh Lord is TRUTH”

However, it is the next line, that can shake the foundations of what most have been taught, and it is simply looking at the translation of the word “WITH”.

In the Beginning was the TRUTH, and the TRUTH was “WITH” God.

Here is where, the door opens a bit more for us. The original translation of the word “WITH” (Pro/v) in Strongs Concordance DOES NOT translate to what we know “with” to mean, like I am “with” my wife, or “with my friends”… No, this word “with” translates into something very different.

WITH – 1) To the advantage of 2) towards 3) near – (In fact, the NAS translates this same word WITH as “about, according to, pertaining, in regard to, etc.) This changes the whole meaning of the first line in John.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Let’s translate that now: In the beginning was the TRUTH, and the TRUTH was (pertaining to God, to the advantage of God, according to God, in regard to God, about God.)

Now this actually makes sense if you think about it.

In other words, it means in the BEGINNING was the Truth and the TRUTH was ABOUT GOD. In beginning, The TRUTH of GOD was UNDERSTOOD.

Before ADAM’S (Mankind’s) Fall (becoming Ignorant of God’s Truth and Spirit) – Man knew the TRUTH.

The same was in the beginning with God.

Now this next line is where it becomes a bit more surreal. Because we MUST translate the word “WITH” the same way. Also, we find the word “SAME” translates differently as well. The Word “Same” (Ouutov) translates as “This or These” so really this next line, translates into this below.

This was in the beginning (according to, pertaining to, about) God

– So now we see the first two verses of John appear differently.

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God.

Translates INTO:


In the beginning was the TRUTH and the TRUTH was ABOUT GOD. The Truth was God. This was in the beginning about God.

Now to save time, I am going to simply place the Strongs Translations next to the words. So whenever you see a (……) you know in between the (…) is the translated word.

3 All things were made (came into existence) by (through) him (God); and without(apart, separate) him (God) was(came into existence) not any thing(no one) made(came into existence) that was made (came into existence).

Let’s translate:

All things came into existence through God, and apart from God nothing came into existence, that came into existence.

It’s pretty easy to see, that WE AREN’T talking about a literal MAN named Jesus here, we are talking about GOD, not a man from two thousand years ago. Since this TOOK PLACE IN THE BEGINNING.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
translates to
In God was Life.

And, what is LIFE according to scripture?

Proverbs 3 calls it Wisdom and Understanding. “wisdom is a tree of life”

So,

In God was Wisdom and Understanding and this Wisdom and Understanding (of God’s Truth) was the light of men…

The LIGHT of all men, according to scripture, is the wisdom and understanding of God’s TRUTH (WORD) and in Matthew 5, we are called to let our light shine forth.

16 Let your light (Understanding of the TRUTH) so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven

I hope you can see, so far, there really is no mention of a LITERAL MAN from 2000 years ago.

Now before I go any further, I want to be clear, so those reading don’t get all salty, or should I say, lose their flavor… JESUS THE MAN revealed the WORD in HIM. The WORD was his LIFE (wisdom and understanding), so he was in fact the WORD of God. As we are called to be living Epistle, we also are to reveal the WORD of God… So you need to see, just because he was the first to reveal the WORD of God among many brethren, who “would do even greater things than he did”, doesn’t make Jesus the man, someone who is completely different from us, it makes him…

The first-born among many brethren, the first-born among the dead. A PATTERN, which is why we must do as he did. The good news is, I believe God predetermined all of it, so none can fail.

Romans 8:29
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

But back to JOHN’S GOSPEL… IN CHAPTER ONE, the scriptures are NOT speaking about a LITERAL MAN as many have been taught. We are talking about THAT WORD that was IN THE MAN JESUS.

2 Corinthians 5:19
that is, that God WAS IN Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation

Notice God is IN, God’s ANNOINTED to reconcile the world (Lusts of the flesh, lusts of the eyes, the pride of life) to HIMSELF (God) – This is all about GOD BECOMING ALL IN ALL. No longer hidden from his creation, but ONE with his creation.

In him (God) was life; and the life (understanding and wisdom) was the light of MEN(plural).

Notice the word MEN… The scripture speaks of God’s LIFE being the LIGHT OF MEN (MANKIND). It really is stating that God’s TRUTH (word) when understood by US helps others to know God, which is in HEAVEN (Which we all know by now, is within us all)

5 And the light shineth (became evident, bring forth light) in(by) darkness(ignorance); and the darkness comprehended(layed hold, took possession) it not.

This last verse, HAS NOTHING to do with the truth NOT being understood by the Ignorant… Rather, this last verse truly translated into…

And the Wisdom and Understanding of God’s Truth became evident by the ignorance of it. And the ignorant didn’t lay hold of it, or take possession and own it.

This is a beautiful picture of the parable of the BLIND man who Jesus saw outside the TEMPLE. Key words here being “OUTSIDE the TEMPLE”. When you exist OUTSIDE the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, you too are blind (ignorant of the truth)…

But back to my point. When Jesus and the disciples saw this BLIND MAN, the disciples asked whose fault it was that he was born Blind. Jesus responded it was no one’s fault, it was so GOD could be glorified, when he sees.

You see we were ignorant of God’s truth for one reason, so God’s truth could become evident because we first became ignorant of it… It is sort of like knowing the LIGHT because you first knew darkness.

How else would we learn? Once again, this first chapter in John, seems to be talking about God and US (humanity as a whole) and not about ONE literal man from 2000 years ago.

6There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

These last verses speak of HOW WE FIRST HEAR about God’s truth.

It is through John, (symbolic of The Law and the Prophets) that bears witness of GOD’S TRUTH (LIGHT), but the man who TESTIFIES of GOD’S TRUTH, that is the LIGHT OF ALL MEN, is NOT GOD’S TRUTH.

You see, we should never mistake the messenger for the message. We should never mistake the LAW for LIFE, or a Man for God’s TRUTH. Man can simply bear witness of the TRUTH, the MAN is NOT THE TRUTH, but it is through the Man, that the TRUTH is revealed. The MAN cannot be the TRUTH, the TRUTH can only be IN (within the thoughts) MAN.

10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

This line clearly isn’t speaking about the literal world. Because the literal earth, to my understanding, has no ability to reason. So the WORLD must be an allegory of carnal man’s thoughts. For in 1 John, we see ALL THAT IS IN THE WORLD.

1 John 2:16
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

The “world” is our Carnal EGO.

John 12:31
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

Remember, Judgment begins at the HOUSE OF GOD. We are the house of God. Our Souls, our Sense of being, our thoughts of individuality (in-division-and duality) – remember Christ COMES (revealed) into the WORLD (our ego) to save the WORLD (our ego)

“What shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world, and lose his soul?”

So, God was, and is, IN US, and WE came into existence through God, but We didn’t know God (we didn’t have his wisdom and understanding)

But this is where it gets SURREAL… The translations below for the words (came, unto, received) open up a whole new idea about what this next verse means.

11 He (God) came (appeared, became known) unto (for, to) his own (pertaining to one’s self), and his own (pertaining to one’s self) received (accepted, joined to) him (God) not.

Let be clear about what this verse means to me. I will translate into my own words below.

God appeared for Himself, God appeared to Himself, But God did not accept God as Himself.

John 1, is not dealing with a literal man, but John 1 is speaking about the creation of all. John 1 is dealing with US, all of HUMANITY.

We have lost our understanding and wisdom of who, and what we are. And, the purpose of that, is so the TRUTH of GOD (the mystery of existence, the hope of Glory, which is CHRIST IN YOU) could be known.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

The word RECEIVE (Lamba/Nw) here in GREEK, means to take what is one’s own, to take to one’s self, to make one’s own.

So, as MANY as TOOK HOLD OF WHAT IS THEIR, As MANY as BELIEVED the TRUTH of God and who they were, become SONS OF GOD.

It goes to explain, this has life and truth has nothing to do with Flesh and Blood, literal man or a single man, it has to do with being BORN FROM ABOVE as God’s beloved. He gives US (humanity as a whole) power to become the SONS OF GOD…

Now let me put that in perspective for you… As a puppy is a child of a dog and becomes a dog. As a kitty is a child of a cat and it too becomes a cat…. So is a SON OF GOD, offspring of GOD and becomes a god.

Psalm 82:6
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

Once we believe the TRUTH of God and who we are, then we too become THE TRUTH as JESUS DID.

Romans 8:29
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Jesus was the First born among MANY BRETHREN… He was and is the word, as we too become LIVING EPISTLES to be read of all men. He is the Light of the World, and we too become the same.

“YE ARE THE LIGHTS OF THE WORLD”

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt (tabernacles/dwell) among (IN, BY, WITH) us, (and we beheld (Contemplate) his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The instant we BELIEVE THE TRUTH, the WORD IS MADE FLESH in US. And we test the spirits this way, those that say “Christ is come (revealed) in the Flesh” is of God. 🙂

The TRUTH comes into existence through US, and God lives IN US, BY US, WITH US, and we Contemplate his Glory as the Only Child of God, full of grace and truth.

In closing, I would like to bring attention that no one ever sees God, they are simply made aware of God.

18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

It is the SON (Those RISEN WITH CHRIST to understand the TRUTH) that declare God…

And for those who wonder what the BOSOM of God is, they need look no further than the literal world, where we too were nursed with milk by our Mothers. The Bosom is the place where God reveals himself through us, to us, by us, for us… So that we all become ONE.

“Sabbath’s Rest Revealed”

This morning a wonderful man posted an article on my wall about the Sabbath. There was a time that I believed as many today believe, that we should set aside one day a week, stop everything, and at the very least go to Church. I even went through the phase of debating within myself what literal day that really was. All of this caused such grief within me. It put so much pressure on me. And when I was finally released from these thoughts, worries and fears that bound me, I saw the Sabbath as one of the most beautiful things there is. Not a single day, but a moment when we give up our “works and self effort” and trust that God is in control of all things. This frees us to truly LIVE for the moment. This GIVES US HOPE! This keeps us from fear and worry, doubt and unbelief. Entering into the understanding, as Jesus understood, “I can do nothing of myself”, you are free.

As Jesus understood that the people who had power over him, only had that power because it was PRE-ORDAINED by God. Meaning, he had no choice in being handed over to Pilate. And Pilate only had the power to do to Jesus what Pilate was born to do. Pilate thought as many of us think, that WE HAVE POWER to do what we want to people, but when you enter into the understanding that God is in complete control of all things, you understand that no one can harm you unless it is meant for your good, and the good of others.

John 19:9-11
10 “Do you refuse to speak to me?” Pilate said. “Don’t you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?” 11 Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.”

Now think of the alternative. If Jesus didn’t know that what was happening to him, HAD TO HAPPEN TO HIM, he would have lost all faith in God. But instead he understood that God had written this Book of his Life, and Pilate was another page in that book. He rested in the faith that there was a good reason for it all. And even explained to Pilate, “Look man, you have no power over me, you simply are being used by God to bring about something great in my life and the lives of others.”

This is the Sabbath rest people.

A quick side note: Yes the Sabbath Rest and entering into it, is one of the Ten Commandments… But I would like you to look at this a new way. I wrote an article on this in depth here, just don’t remember the name, Duh! LOL.

Many believe the “Commands” are a list of do’s and dont’s. That is the very reason people can’t enter into the Sabbath to begin with. The COMMANDMENTS are not a check list, it is A PROMISE OF GOD. Just look at how they are worded.

“Thou shalt not __________” or “Thou Shall__________” – These are promises people. What God commands is part of the plan, and what he plans he brings to it’s fulfillment.

Why do you think Moses broke the first set of tablets. Israel had turned over to idolatry. Now you would think if it was a list of do’s and dont’ Moses would have come down and pointed out the law where you SHALL HAVE NO GOD BEFORE ME… but he didn’t. WHY?

The reason is those COMMANDMENTS are PROMISES… THAT ONE DAY WE WILL NOT STEAL, KILL, COMMIT ADULTERY, HAVE GOD’S BEFORE GOD, AND OF COURSE WE WILL REMEMBER TO KEEP THE SABBATH HOLY!

This is the Gospel, God is in control, and what he commands he brings to pass. Understanding this, is the first step to entering into the Rest we are predestined to enter into… (now back to the essay) 🙂

The Sabbath’s rest is coming to a place in your life where you know, everything that has been and everything that is happening, is for your good and the good of everyone around you. And when you TRUST this, when you enter into that REST, you don’t have to worry if you have done wrong, or worry about your fate, because you KNOW that it is FOR YOUR GOOD!

Genesis 2:2
By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.

This is NOT A LITERAL DAY, it is WISDOM. You give up the wheel, and let God drive. And in so doing you don’t need to hate others for what they do to you, you don’t need to fear the future, or worry about your past, you simply LIVE IN THE MOMENT!

Now, for many people this article will be as honey at first. Meaning it will be sweet to be able to give up all your worries and works, and simply “BE STILL AND KNOW I AM” BUT FOR YOUR CARNAL EGOTISTICAL MIND (you belly) it will be BITTER. There will be many of you when reading this that won’t want to believe it. You won’t want to receive it, because it will cause your EGO to go nuts. Because your EGO (which is, and is not, and yet us) wants CONTROL and believes itself is god.

But our story has been written, predetermined, and the END is VICTORY, no matter how you slice it.

Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Ephesians 1:11
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will

Notice the word EVERYTHING. God doesn’t work some things according to God’s will and leaves some for your EGO to figure out… NO! ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER!

Every SINGLE bible story, is a page taken from the Book of your Life (Book of Life), just as your traits are written code in your DNA, so our spiritual and emotional journey through this world is also written. For many who can receive these words, this is great news, because it means “The story is already written, and it is finished” (although we haven’t finished experiencing it). We may only have the past as our witness, and hope as our future.

I am reminded of this wonderful thing my friend Sam Couch said to me yesterday. “Each day is like having a new page and we discover what’s written.” And that is the way we feel it. We feel as if everything is new, and exciting, even though our present can only be what it is meant to be. That is the good news!

Isaiah 46:9-11
9 Remember the former things, those of long ago;
I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like me.
10 I make known the end from the beginning,
from ancient times, what is still to come.
I say, ‘My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.’
11 From the east I summon a bird of prey;
from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose.
What I have said, that I will bring about;
what I have planned, that I will do.

Now of course I am not saying we are a bunch of mindless puppets that are going around from one thing to the next without making choices or decisions. I am simply saying our decisions and choices are always the exactly what they are meant to be. And our environment, interaction with others, the media, the elements, illness, accidents, and millions and millions of other things are placed in our path to help us make the decision we are to make. (As well as thoughts that flood our minds at times)

Now of course many of you will say, NO! God wouldn’t do that to us. God wouldn’t make people get angry, lie, curse, wouldn’t send us hard times, put us in situations where we would be led to choose wrong… And I completely understand why many wouldn’t.

Let me be clear about this however, scripture is CLEAR that God does indeed bring all of this on us and more.

The students of Paul had a problem with this concept. They couldn’t understand why God would have a problem with his “vessels made to wrath” doing the very evil things he predestined them to do. They questioned, why would God hold them accountable if they are simply doing what God willed?

Romans 9
11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)… 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Notice the next line, where we see that Pharoah who did all sorts of horrible things to Israel, was raised up to do those VERY THINGS.

17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
18Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

Paul understood people couldn’t grasp why God would make people do evil to one another. I’m sure the perfectly trimmed bushes don’t understand why they are pruned, and the stone doesn’t understand why the chisel and hammer is applied to make a statue. People have a problem believing God would use tribulation and torment to bring us where we all long to be.

19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

A good question. But if you consider that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER for the GOOD! That everything, even terrible dictators, murderers, thieves, liars, backbiters, rapists, (the list goes on of the evils in the world), everything is working to bring about so great a plan that when it is revealed, we will see and know ONLY LOVE! We will not be able to see or think of anything but Love.

Paul simply replied, all of these things are happening so, God’s Glory (Mystery of who we are) can be revealed. In addition, notice that these vessels which God is preparing, and molding as a potter molds clay, are ALREADY BEEN PREPARED for this great glory.

23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

Now with all of that being said, I know many will still have a problem believing that God would ever put us through hard times, bring nations against nations to war, would ever have man kill another man… People want to blame another entity for all the bad stuff, forgetting that God created Man’s Devilish Carnal Ego for the very reason of bringing what we consider horror to pass… SO ONE DAY WE WOULD OVERCOME IT AND BE ONLY LIGHT. But for those that have a problem with believing a God that is in control of every single word written of our lives and the lives of others, I would direct you to the Old Testament.

Some will say, oh well God has changed, he doesn’t do that anymore. BUT GOD IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND TOMORROW.

Malachi 3:6
For I am the LORD, I change not

Believe it or not, this is all good news! I know in the natural man’s mind it doesn’t seem like good news. No one wants to see another suffer. If I were to have things “my” way, there would just simply be blanket peace, there would be no struggle, there would be nothing to accomplish, nothing to overcome, there would be no need for forgiveness, no need for charity, no need to give a rip about anyone because everyone would be perfectly at peace. “My way” would never teach you how precious each individual is or how fragile and fleeting each moment is. “My Way” would have no surprises, if I were to have “My Way” then indeed we each would truly feel NOTHING, nothing at all. Because we would have nothing to gauge our feelings to. We would never know hate, so we would never know how wonderful acceptance feels. We would never know suffering, so we would never know how wonderful charity feels. We would never know war, so we would never be able to rejoice over peace.

This in a nutshell is why we have problems TRUSTING GOD IS IN CONTROL! Because of the “My Way” thinkers. In our “way” (which is ignorant to begin with) we think, oh if I was God I would never allow bad things to happen…. So then the “my way” thinkers say, “I get it, God created man and wanted total peace and harmony for, God never wanted man to learn anything (as mankind would already know everything). So since this “god” created everything perfect the “My Way” thinkers go on to say, God then took his hands off the wheel of creation and gave it to us. Oh and yes, he also created that tree and that snake to mess his creation up, but the “My Way” thinkers say, well God told man NOT to eat from the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL.

So since the “My Way” thinkers can’t possibly believe God can do harm (even though the entire scriptures point that out, “Job” he made suffer, “Jonah” he forced to do his will, “Jesus” he was pleased to bruise him and kill him. (Of course this is allegory, but I am hoping you will get my meaning). You see the “My Way” thinkers don’t believe in the spirit of the scriptures, they believe in the letter (literal). And since they believe that way, they blame a “devil” or some outside force, giving power to one of God’s creation instead of the creator. You see the problem with the “My Way” thinkers is, they are worshipping a God they made in THEIR IMAGE. One that wants to bless them, keep them healthy, wealthy, wise, and also torture endlessly anyone who doesn’t believe the way they do.

HOWEVER, “our ways are NOT GOD’S WAYS!”

Romans 11:33
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

We can’t possibly understand the mind of God. In fact, the verse before 33, states…

32For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

We have all been made to be ignorant, so mercy could be upon us all. We learn mercy only one way people, by seeing those who are merciless.

So why have I spent an entire paper pointing out that God is in charge of every aspect of our lives, including the most horrific? The reason is HOPE!

This is what we must NEVER FORGET, we are infinite BE-ings. As energy can never cease to exist, our spirit can never cease to exist. In the flesh (literal flesh) and in the flesh (carnal ego) we may suffer, but it is so we can learn, so we can grow, so we can become one with our creator.

So once you understand that EVERYTHING that happens in your LIFE is meant to happen FOR YOUR LIFE, you can have peace about it, learn from it, and not continue to mourn it.

The Eastern Philosophy is “Non-attachment” on the surface makes sense. As the Buddha figured out “life is change and suffering” so don’t get attached to anything. But if taken literally what a cold, cold world this would be. I believe attachment is as important to our lives as the air in our lungs, but with that attachment we must also understand the first principle, LIFE IS CHANGE.

People, possessions, pets, etc, come in and out of our lives. We buy homes, we lose homes. We get jobs we lose jobs. We have health, we get sick. As the book states, there is a time and season for everything. We MUST understand that! We MUST understand that the MOMENT is so precious and it may be gone tomorrow.

This is why life is the way it is, but people aren’t waking up to this great and noble truth. THERE IS NO YESTERDAY OR TOMORROW there is ONLY NOW! There has never been a yesterday or tomorrow, there has ONLY BEEN NOW! Which is why we must ENTER THAT REST that God has promised!

And what is that REST you asked? Is it simply ceasing all work on Sunday, or Saturday? Is it going to a man-made church? I say to all of this, NO, NO, NO!

To enter God’s REST is to CEASE from YOUR WORKS… simply put, it means YOU STOP THINKING YOU ARE IN CONTROL, AND CAN CONTROL ALL THINGS. It has nothing to do with not lighting a fire, or pulling an ox out of a ditch, Jesus showed us, the SABBATH REST has nothing at all to do with Man’s works.

Luke 13
10 On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, 11 and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. 12 When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” 13 Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.
14 Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, the synagogue leader said to the people, “There are six days for work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath.” 15 The Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each of you on the Sabbath untie your ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water? 16 Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?”

The WOMAN that was bound up is a symbol of mankind’s thinking/soul. The infirmity was the woman was BOUND… and what binds people? THE LAW OF BELIEVING MAN IS IN CONTROL AND MUST DO THIS OR THAT!

Romans 7:6
But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

On the Sabbath, our Thoughts/Soul is set free from this line of thinking. Mankind bound us as “beasts of burden” to STALL our spiritual growth. SATAN (Mankind’s carnal ignorant Ego) binds us all with the belief that WE have to somehow make this world and our lives work ON OUR OWN! The Carnal Ignorant Monstrous EGO (who we believe ourselves to be) will have us to believe we are in control, we are to blame, and when I state “we” I mean the “ego” (which doesn’t even exist, it is the FATHER OF ALL LIES, it isn’t real, it’s an illusion that we have believed was us) – The EGO is the OLDER BROTHER that was meant to keep us, but KILLED US as Cane killed Abel. But on the SABBATH (when we enter into the rest that GOD IS IN CONTROL OF ALL THINGS) WE ARE released from our infirmities (ignorance).

Mark 2:27
Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath

This REST and WISDOM was made for mankind… Not Mankind having to work for it. They simply need to enter into it, but people refuse to enter in. Because to enter into the Sabbath Rest, means you understand YOUR EGO HAS NO CONTROL!

Hebrews 4:6-7
6 It still remains that some will enter that rest, and those who formerly had the gospel preached to them did not go in, because of their disobedience. 7 Therefore God again set a certain day, calling it Today, when a long time later he spoke through David, as was said before: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”

You see the day, is not a literal day, not Saturday, not Sunday… it is the DAY YOU HEAR THIS TRUTH and DON’T HARDEN YOUR HEARTS TO IT. And what does it mean to harden your heart?

Ephesians 4:18
They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.

It simply means you are ignorant to this great truth.

This is the GOSPEL (good news) – as written by Shakespeare “All the worlds a stage, and all men and women merely players, they have their exists and entrances, and mankind in his time plays many parts” – This wonderful quote from “As You Like It” – sums up our lives perfectly. And this is why when we enter into the understanding that “Of Myself/ego I can do nothing” we will find a peace that passes our understanding (of why things happen or not).

Proverbs 15:24
The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

So … Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy

Isaiah 30:15
This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength…

Be Holy even as God is Holy. As God rested from all he created, it’s time for us to rest from all we created and realize it is already finished, now just go along with hope and excitement for the ride.

August 23, 2011, at 12:14 eastern standard time, my son Ethan was born. Weighing 7 pounds 3 ounces, 20 inches long, blue eyes, black hair, perfect, perfect, beautiful, amazing, child. The SON rose to its highest peak today as it enter Virgo at 12:14, and shortly thereafter an earthquake shook our hospital, I knew it was a sign of good things to come.
