JESUS HUNGERED! WE HUNGERED!

JESUS HUNGERED! WE HUNGERED!

About ten years ago, I was going through many things emotionally, physically, spiritually, etc. It was an especially hard time, but I am grateful for it. During that time I learned so much.

There is something about losing everything you thought mattered in the world, to help you realize you lost nothing and gained your own soul. Well that was what this period of my life was. A time of enlightening and enduring. It has been going on since I was about twelve and to this day I continue to learn new and exciting things that I can’t wait to share.

Back then, I had lost everything, I also was dealing with my Crohn’s disease. I was living in a small, small apartment above some woman’s house, trying to raise two kids alone as a single father. I didn’t go out much, so after the kids went down I would spend hours writing my novel. And since I really was alone, I spent the other time thinking, questioning , seeking, and trusting that there was a point to it all. Which, if you know me by now, you know of course there was and is.

However, that all is just the stage that I wanted to set for you. Many today are making the mistake of pretending to have all the answers when it comes to God, the hereafter etc…

I hope I never come across as one of those people. The reason is because of how incredibly exciting and miraculous and an unbelievably amazing life can be, when one begins to see their place in the center of it all, and seek the truth on their own.

There is only one thing we all share. One thing we all have in common. Only one thing we know for sure. We exist. The day begins and ends with us.

Revelation 22:13
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

We literally are the center of our universe. Now this is an experience each of us has. Which proves we are all the same at the very core.

Now what does all this have to do with the title, Jesus Hungered?

Well the answer is everything. “as he is so are we in this world”. This was his experience as well. And by he, I mean the historical figure we know as Jesus, who was called Yeshua. You know, that guy everyone says is the savior of the world. Well within the pages of scripture we find, that Jesus understood this concept. He knew he was the beginning and the end of himself. He understood who he was in the temporal world “his Jesus” identity wasn’t what mattered, it was the Spirit of Life inside him that mattered. When the rich man asked him, “good master what must I do to inherit eternal life”, Jesus said “why are you calling me good, there is no one good but our Father in Heaven”. He knew, as I know, you can’t be looking at the messenger, but you must find the Message! It is not the messenger that is important it is understanding the messengers Logic (Logos). The Messenger doesn’t set you free, the truth the messenger reveals is the TRUTH that sets you free.

Now I want to share how, all anyone needs to do is ask, be quiet, allow the question to stir inside you, and than one day YOU will have the answer.

This lesson I learned well, many, many years ago when I was at the gym. I hadn’t been to an organized church for awhile, but I had this craving to go. I had a craving to enter into the church, and to be fed spiritually. Because I was HUNGRY.

So I began to drive looking for a church that was opened. But as I drove I realized, none were open, and none had anything to offer me. So this thought came over me.

“Your kids are visiting your ex, you have the whole day… Go to the beach, enjoy yourself, and seek there.”

So I went to the beach. I grabbed a chair and my bible. Looking out at the awesome water, I closed my eyes and imagined myself learning something amazing. As I did, when I used to pray for God to teach me something. I then flipped through my bible like a roulette wheel, stopped on a random page and read.

“Jesus hungered” I read. It was the story of how Jesus was waking up one day. The sun was just rising and he was hungry. He was looking to be fed. He sees a fig tree in the distance and thinks… Surely I’ll get some fruit there. But what happens is, he gets there and he realizes, what should have been producing fruit to feed him wasn’t. It was covered in leaves. Jesus then cursed the tree and it withered up and died.

Well, I had been fed indeed. In that moment on the beach I understood the parable. Jesus’ food was his Fathers business, Gods truth. That is what he ate. Jesus was Hungry for wisdom, as I was. And like Jesus, I went to a place where I thought I could find it. Organized religion. But I only found leaves. Meaning I knew it was a fig tree, a place that produced the truth of God, but it wasn’t producing.

I remember being upset as I left that church before the beach. Being angry, wanting to be fed and realizing that it couldn’t help me. I actually said, “I’ll never go there again.”

Did you catch that? I too cursed the fig tree. I said this religious system will never feed me, only God will, and all I need to do to find God is separate myself from those around me and seek.

Since that day I have never eaten from that tree. Nor has it produced fruit. Spiritually for me, it withers away. But I wouldn’t have learned any of this, had I not gone through this experience. I wouldn’t have had this revelation, unless I experienced this revelation.

You see as I sit and write this, not knowing why I am so compelled to do so, I am reminded that we don’t need to go here or there to find fruit, to find the truth, to find the Kingdom of Heaven, or to know who and what God really is. All we need to do is… Be still and Know I AM Lord… Now get yourself still and say… I AM Lord.

After saying this, then look up the definition of the word “Lord” – It means, “The one who exists, The existing One.”— The time has come when we don’t need to go door to door saying, know the Lord, for all will know God from the least to greatest. WHY? Because the truth is written in our hearts! And that truth will rise and can never be put out. We may forget who we are for awhile, what is real what is not, but eventually that dead seed we call our life, gets dosed with the water of truth, and the life of the SON beats down on us, and we begin to grow. And as we grow, many more seeds are produced within us, that will also fall and be scattered around and these seeds will also germinate and grow, until we all know that GOD IS ALL IN ALL!

Ask yourself why this is so important to learn. And begin to create a new world. We don’t need religion or politics or money or power, we need to know who we are, and we need to begin to change the conversation in our head. We need to realize we are all one in Christ and what we do to one we do to all. We need to begin to Enjoy the mystery that is out life(Christ). And we need to stop looking for the answers outside of us, but within. And the. We need to create a new world. Not the wills of yesterday but the will of God, which saves all men.

So be still and know…. What?

Thank you Jacob for sharing this fresh bread to feed the hungry in your blog. In a vision, I found myself in a large city, standing on the top of a tall skyscraper and nearby was a helicopter. Jesus stepped out of the helicopter. He was wearing a robe and he was very tall. Jesus handed me some pieces of bread and they looked like dough-balls(extremely fresh bread?). He told me to go down to the streets and share this bread with people. He was going to fly the helicopter around the city, and help people. I was amazed that Jesus could fly a helicopter since that piece of technology did not exist 2000 years ago.

I walked down to the streets of the city. The more of this bread I gave to people, the more of it there was to keep giving. A never ending supply of bread.

Other people started helping me to share this bread. As we were sharing, we could see Jesus, flying the helicopter around the city, helping people. Sometimes he would fly the helicopter over to us and land it on the ground. He would talk to us and give us encouragement, then he would fly the helicopter to another part of the city. Once he was on the top of another building, talking to some construction workers or engineers. He appeared to be genuinely interested in helping them.

As we were walking down on the streets, we came across some trash dumpsters. Some people had died and they were in the trash. Police and paramedics were taking the bodies out of the dumpsters and laying them on the ground. Our small group of people began to wish for the people on the ground to come back to life. The dead people did come back to life and the police and paramedics were shocked. They quickly loaded them in ambulances and took them to the hospital. — end of dream…

Wow, so sad… the underlying judgement and condemnation, waiting to pounce at the prey. Some folks just dont realize … someday they will ❤

No it no trick. But I find your words very deceiving I would like to know if you are a Christian because I can not tell if you a Christian believer .. Do you believe Jesus is God come to earth in the flesh.. I am told to test the spirits so I am testing to see what you truly believe but you talk around in circles so it sounds good but it not quite right to my heart. So before I continue to read anymore please give me So simple yes no answers..

Is Jesus God manifested in the Flesh..
    Are you a Christian..

And please explain this ” Now get yourself still and say… I am Lord.”

Are you saying we are to be still and say to ourselves “I am Lord”

Yes I am testing you for I am to test all thing.. Thank you for your reply..

Snow, when have you become the author and finisher of my faith? How could you possibly find my words to be decieving. That would mean that I am purposely trying to decieve you, and lie to you. But until now, I never knew you, and I can assure you, my essays are what I know to be true, but I would never make the claim that I know all, and I am the authority. This is up God’s timing, and when he draws people for them to go within and find the Truth of God (Christ) In Them (which is the Hope of Glory). So am I God’s child, YES, but no more or less than you are. We are all where we are, and if you really read my first response, you’ll see I already answered, the answer is YES I AM! 🙂 I hope this answer has brought you peace, Jacob

    • jacobisrael71 March 20, 2011 / 10:25 PM

PS snow, the SPIRITS we are to TEST, are the thoughts in our head. And how we do this, is, any thought that doesn’t KNOW CHRIST IS REVEALED in the Flesh presently and always, is not of God. Peace… and I saying… “Be Still and Know I AM Lord”… Be still and KNOW GOD snow. You can only know God when you are STILL, still YOUR thoughts. Peace

Okay before we go any further and I do want to discuss some of the things you spoke of and answer the question you asked me Yet you have not answered this one question.. Please no length explanation.. Just a yes or no..

Is Jesus/ Yeshua, God manifested in the Flesh?

Thank you for your time and patients you must understand one must be cautious in this world.. Oh please do not forget to answer the question above.. May the Lord bless you..

      • snow March 21, 2011 / 7:18 PM

Never mind I found out enough by going through your blogs.. I will be not visiting your pages or recommending any of your works.. I am not the author or finisher of your faith but I know Who is of mine.. Thank you for your time.. As my heart was told so it is.

      • jacobisrael71 March 22, 2011 / 7:42 AM

        Snow,

Sorry I wasn’t ignoring your question. During the day I have my day job and I don’t spend time on line unless researching, and most nights I like to spend time with my family. I wish you well on your journey, and will let you know the good news is YOU CAN’T FAIL! Because God sent his “Son” into to the world to save the world, and it is his will that all be saved and come to knowledge and stature of the perfect man. Keep seeking, praying, hoping, and helping others. Much love to you and yours, Jacob

My I ask some Questions Do you believe Jesus is the only Begotton Son of God and only Through Him we can see the Father.. Or only a messenger? That He is The Way the TRUTH, The LIGHT.. Do you believe it only because of Jesus sacrifice we have gained access to the Father?

    • jacobisrael71 March 20, 2011 / 5:42 PM

What should never matter is what others believe. Why is that so important? Your question Snow, is another religious trick, a rehearsed line that one must quote to prove their worth, to prove their love of God, forget about fruit, forget about their hearts and truth, so long as they answer religions questions, people feel good, but if their questions are not answered, and a person decides not to play this game, than what? Does all the good one has done mean nothing… If you don’t believe me, “Jesus said” believe the works that I do. There can be no life without the death of God’s only begotten, their can be no salvation unless we die to ourselves and know Christ is the Lord of all. Hope I passed the test 🙂 Much love to you and yours Snow, Jacob

Funny thing…this scripture We all have heard it. Peter do you love me? Lord you know all things and you know that I love you…Then Jesus saith unto him, “Feed my sheep.” Funny thing the language of the bible….
I believe Jacob this is what you are talking about and I see once again you were led to write as many are led to read. I ask that you read the parable in John chapter 10. When the word sheep is used…insert the word “truth” and sheepfold will be the “place of truth”…this is probably the best parable that I understand that one can show that Jesus is the man made Christ…You see if one sees Jesus as God, how can he see the truth of himself? In this parable Jesus says not only that he is the door that the shepherd must enter through but that he is also the shepherd. So I ask how can Jesus be the door and the shepherd? Simple for in Acts 2:36 it states that this man Jesus whom you crucified was MADE both Lord and Christ…So Jesus the Christ being the door…and Jesus the man walks thru the door which is Christ and becomes the shepherd of that truth…I believe if you understand the parable in John 10…you will now know why Jesus told Peter to FEED my (Christs) sheep…

blessings to you all whom God is raising

Dan, how awesome is that right man! Incredible! “I stand there at the door knocking” – Christ the Door 🙂 Love it man!

Without going into the details which would take too much space and time to elaborate on here; I am simply amazed by the similarity of your experience with my own life. We have different names and live in different places and have different bodies but our life’s experience in our journey with God is almost identical! In many ways we really are one. Having said that, though much the same experience I needed to hear your conclusion to the whole scenario, the way you see this picture of our human and spiritual experience. Thank you for explaining this same picture we are both looking at; or should I say back at. I needed to hear this this morning. It has brought me some sanity to the seeming insanity I see in the rear view mirror. I think the key to this revelation was the simple illustration of the one sentence from the mouth and mind of our Lord Jesus in his human experience. You brought it right down where the rubber meets the road in the highway grid on the map of my mind helping me pinpoint my position on this/our human journey. You could overlay the map of your life with mine and the highway grids would nearly match exactly. You just showed me where I AM. I may seem to ramble but it is just the way I think. I heard some eastern religions proverb once, I don’t remember which one but it said “when a man chases two rabbits, he will lose them both”… you Jacob have helped me let go of one and focus on chasing the other.
    Thanks,
    Dennis Caldwell

    • jacobisrael71 March 19, 2011 / 10:46 AM

Dennis you have done the same for me my man! And I too have stopped looking in that rearview, you focus on that while your driving you’ll crash. Besides the Devil spelled backward is LIVED. So if we focus on what we have lived instead of living, we are men most miserable indeed, and I know that feeling too often and too well. So LIKE YOU I PRESS ON! Much love man and thanks, Jacob

      • not1lost@gmail.com March 19, 2011 / 1:17 PM

That’s so True Jacob, Also what we see in the rearview mirror (interesting word) is actually an illusion, unreal, even at the time if you are looking at what we “see” in the mirror… Those things we “now see” are temporal therefore fading away like a mirage, an illusion. But those things we do not see but “KNOW” in our heart and in our minds – that is real….

    HI Jacob!
Long time no hear from you? How are you? Are you angry at me or what? Love to hear from you. The article was great!@@

  8. Sam Couch March 18, 2011 / 9:54 PM

When I first came to know the spiritual truth of the Fathers word many, many year ago I can remember being very hungry for truth. Since that time through many years now the Father has revealed more and more truth to me and I am still being filled even to this moment to the point I have put on a few spiritual pounds.

I like many at first got all wrapped up in the religions of this world. If it had not been for that experience of starving for the truth during those times I would not know the many blessings I now have as the Father fills me with His knowledge and wisdom today.

It is cold and dark in the dust of the ground (churches of the world) but when the rain comes and the sun shines (the spiritual truth of the Fathers word within us)and we begin to grow (spiritually)then and only then will we come to understand that we grow not to ourselves but to the glory of our Father that others may be fed and not starve.

    John 17:20
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;(KJV)

Wonderful work Brother keep feeding the sheep.

  9. Diane Moyer March 18, 2011 / 9:00 PM

Wow! I know one reason you wrote this. My husband and I left organized religion just over a year ago. The past couple of weeks we have just really missed corporate worship. I know none of our local churches have what that for which we are looking, but I’ve been praying and seeking God for an answer for our dilemma. Then I find this article in my email! How timely!!!!
