The Desire To Live

THE DESIRE TO LIVE

We have been conditioned in life to believe that to be happy and to find peace we need to have more, to do more, and we need to be more. Every day we are flooded with images and ideas to keep us slaves to the belief that what we have and who we are just isn’t good enough. Sadly, this belief that most people have put their faith in is the very thing that keeps their freedom, peace and joy far from them. Like a carrot dangled before the mule, this promise of peace and joy through attaining more is a promise that will never come to pass. However, there is hope for the hopeless, there is joy for those who has lost their desire to live, and it is closer than you think. It is the truth that changes you and your change is coming! Jacob thank God for the desire in your heart to see people know the truth. When I watch this video it was like the heart of the Father was speaking to my heart I know I say this before but it is living words to my heart and it is renewing my mind to the truth.

Thank you for this, J. So much has been confirmed to be absolutely true lately. Rene Descartes said the seat of the soul is the pineal gland. The soul is the seat of our heart. Our soul is what we lose when we focus on the outside. I was thinking about our conversation from last Friday about being present in the moment. Very seldom are we present in the moment. For the most part, we are engaged in our thoughts that are about the past or our thoughts that deal with a future that hasn’t happened yet. Neither the past nor the future exist; both are dead. When we engage these thoughts we are actually eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and when we eat this fruit, we assimilate with it and become one with it and die. This is what happened to Adam and Eve in the garden allegory. These thoughts seduce us and lead us out of the garden, our place of peace and we die. Within every human being are two natures. We have our higher nature, which is our true nature and we have our carnal nature which is our false nature. These natures cannot live within us at the same time. One will be alive and the other will be dead. Scripture says Christ died so “I” could live. The “I” is the false, lower nature/ego. In order for the higher/Christ nature to live, the ego must die. What I have realized is we can switch back and forth between these two natures, which is exactly the same as David making his bed in heaven and in hell. We have the keys to both heaven and hell which reside within us along with our two natures. The key to heaven and our higher/Christ nature is being present in the moment. To be present means taking no thought of the past or the future. All we have, all that exists is the moment and most of us never exist in it. This became clear to me from watching the show “Doomsday Preppers”. That sounds weird, but it is true. I watch how these people are absolutely consumed with preparing for various scenarios they believe will occur in the future and they are not living their lives now. It hit me by watching that show, this is what all of us do. Our thoughts have taken us captive and made us prisoners in our own minds when it is us who should be taking out thoughts captive just as the apostle Paul said. Our thoughts are what keep us chasing the elusive carrot outside of ourselves. Our thoughts are what creates stress, doubt, worry, fear, depression, addiction, greediness, etc, etc. Our thoughts are what keeps us enslaved and DEAD. Deep down inside, we all want the same thing. We want rest. We are tired of tilling the ground by the sweat of our brow. We want peace and security. Those things can only be found within. Nothing and I mean nothing found outside of ourselves will ever bring us back to the garden where it all begins. A catepillar doesn’t transform itself by staying outside of the cocoon, it must go within to be transformed. I have read a lot on meditation and its affects and I have spent sometime on practicing it myself and have experienced its affects. I quit for a while because I questioned how it could have any real long term benefits when most of us only have a small amount of time we can dedicate to it and the rest of our time is spent on the outside. I thought unless we are monks, how can it really make a change within ourselves, then I finally realized, it only takes one lit candle to overcome the dark, however, no amount of darkness can ever overcome that same lit candle. What this means is we are not meant to sit in meditation for all of our lives nor is this feasible. Rather, when we go within our closets and pray (meditate), this is where our candle gets lit and that light will shine in our minds and in turn in our lives while we are not in meditation. Obviously, just meditating one time is not enough just like only one workout in a gym, no matte how intense, is enough to create the body you want. It takes work and is no joke. Anyone who says meditation is easy is only fooling themselves. It is not easy to overcome the thoughts of our mind. It takes persistence and commitment. It is our thoughts that we have to overcome, nothing else. It is our thoughts that is our enemy, nothing else. The serpent in the garden told Eve that she would become like God if she partook of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Our thoughts tell us the same thing and we follow them and we die. What I have learned, is there is only one way back and that is by going within. Knowledge of the truth is worthless if we never EXPERIENCE the truth. I can educate myself all I want on the effects of cancer on the human body, but I will never know what it is like to actually have cancer unless I experience it for myself, not that I want to, of course. What I am saying, is in order to make a real change, we must do like the catepillars do and go within and we will be transformed. J, you are right, it does not happen overnight. It is a process, but that process will never get started if we do not do our part. We create our own reality and in turn, we co-create the mass reality. Buddah said you must become the change you want to see in others and in the world. Knowledge by itself, can never and will never bring about this change. It takes action. The apostle Paul said we must DIE DAILY. This means we must find time in each day to meditate. This is how we commune with God. This is how we go to our upper room. This is where the sacrifice of our lower/carnal nature is made on a daily basis. This is how the “I”/ego decreases and the Christ within us all increases. The virgin Mary is actually the virgin mind, a mind without thought. When we engage our thoughts, we are actually fornicating with them and then the physical manifestation of our thoughts are birthed into our physical reality. When we overcome our thoughts and obtain the virgin mind, God, our higher nature can then impregnate us with the truth/Christ and then that will be birthed into our physical reality. Rene Descartes said the seat of the soul is the pineal gland. The soul is the seat of our heart. The pineal gland is where Jacob saw God face to face. The pineal gland is dormant in most humans today and can only be activated through meditation. If the seat of our heart is dormant and can only be activated/made alive through meditation, then what are we waiting for? Our heart is our higher mind, the mind of Christ that the apostle Paul said we must put on. The only way to raise this mind from the dead is through meditation. We are so much more than we know/experience. For those of you who are skeptical on the whole meditation thing, give it 5 to 10 minutes a day and see if you don’t notice a change in your stress level and your overall level of happiness and mental well being. I am telling you all if you can turn those thoughts off for a short while each day, you will feel so much better. You will feel more at peace and more content regardless of your circumstances. I have found meditating to relaxing instrumental music helps to shut those thoughts off easier and faster. Don’t believe you need a guru or so called master to get you going in meditation. The only master you need is within, we just need to go within to meet with him and we will find it is us. We are the master, but we have been enslaved to a false nature. Let’s begin the exodus from Egypt together.

    Peace,

Veil, I am sorry I am so late in getting back to you. It has been one of those months where exciting things happen and you must shift focus elsewhere… I think it is awesome that you are seeing what you are seeing and it is truly amazing to see how far we all have come. But I think the greatest of all the things you wrote was that last sentence, the only master we need is within… and we will find it is us (who we truly are) 🙂 I agree let’s begin that exudos and enter that land of promise indeed. Thanks so much for the comment and please do share again, jacob
