“THE ANTICHRIST AND YOU, FRIENDS TILL THE END”

Note to reader: I haven’t edited this yet, I wrote this quick this morning, so please forgive any spelling and grammar mistakes.


LET’S BEGIN:

I was going to title this paper, THE ANTICHRIST AND YOU, A LOVE STORY! But I didn’t think anyone would get it. Even though, man really loves this CARNAL BEASTLY NATURE we call the ANTI-CHRIST. Soooooo, moving on

We’ve seen THE ANTICHRIST in the movies, we’ve heard about him on the news and on TV, mainly on Christian TV, or really bad re-enactments on the History channel. We have been warned of the big scary monster that will stand in the Temple and declare himself to be God. The dreaded evil being that will force all of mankind to get tattoo’s/marks.micro-chips/ etc. etc. of 666 on their hands and their heads, without which man will not be able to buy or sell.

“DON’T TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST!!!” the religious scream! He is the Monster of the Abyss, The Antichrist, the Son of Perdition, THE BEAST, THE EVIL ONE that may even trick the Saints to fall down and worship Him! And when this Evil Monster called the AntiChrist is revealed… THEN, our Savior riding a white horse, or a cloud, or lightning, or fifty other different descriptions in scripture (allegory)that tell as to how Christ will come. And when CHRIST COMES, He will destroy this terribly awful creature of Hell with the Brightness of his Glory. — That much is true, but not how most believe.

Okay, let me start this essay by saying, what a bunch of steaming NONSENSE! This ANTICHRIST doctrine is today. I mean, Holy cow people, seriously, the Antichrist should be taken AS LITERALLY as a the woman who lived in a shoe. (Although the later is more realistic)

If anyone actually takes the time to study and find out just what this Abomination of Desolation is, they would find, THERE IS NOTHING TO BE SCARED OF! This ANTICHRIST is merely our CARNAL EGO NATURE and I’m going to show you, why.

If you don’t believe me, read on friends of mine and you’ll find ample proof and valid explanations as to why this spooky campfire story needs to be put to rest already. As God hasn’t given the spirit of FEAR!

Even though, “The AntiChrist and You are friends Until the End”… Meaning, we just don’t want the ANTICHRIST NATURE to go. We cling to it, for we don’t know that the ANTI-CHRIST is actually who the ignorant THINK THEY ARE.

But today, we move onto to maturity and get over these fairy tales. For no other reason than I am sick and tired watching movie, after movie, showing the most perserse images to depict this “antichrist” character, when it should be obvious it is MAN ALONE that is perverse in all MAN’S (CARNAL) ways.

I mean really, watch some of these movies already. “Drag me to Hell” “Hell Raiser””Constantine” oh man the list goes on an on. Then you have those “christian” scary movies, like the hogwash of “Left Behind” not Kirk Cameron’s best work, the Beast, or Mark of the Beast, or blah, blah, blah… Such fear inspiring pieces of cinema and not one of them is even close to true. As I said before, God does not give us the spirit of fear, So fear tactics aren’t from God, but men… And Carnal man is, as Archie Bunker used to say, “Ehhhh MEAT-HEADS”

On Halloween my wife and I watched the most disturbing movie ever, called “Antichrist” starring Willem Defoe, what a horrible and perverse film. I mean sick, sick, sick… I covered my eyes most of the time, hoping there would be some pay off in the end, but of course, there was none that wouldn’t make the average human being vomit! Gross! — I’ll be right back… Have to take a shower after thinking about how wretched that film was…

Okay I’m back:And smelling all Irish Springy fresh.

So let’s dive into this error and pile of yuckiness disguised as Church teaching.

Jesus said, “Nothing that goes INTO the man defiles him, but it is what comes out of Him” – Jesus understood, that IN the heart of man already is every horrible and wretched thing and I don’t mean that week old dominoes pizza you found in the corners of your college dorm room couch and ate…

This is the CARNAL NATURE of Man that is GROSS, and it’s name is ANTICHRIST.

This paper is going to tear apart every one of the scriptures dealing with the topic and hopefully we’ll all put this ANTICHRIST garbage to rest. 

I am saddened by the perpetual lies that inspire fear in the lost children of God, and more to the point, I am tired of those who “claim to know God” who preach on the subject as if there is some coming future doom that we must all be scared of. The Future is bright people, so put on those shades! <— Thank you Timbuk3 for that song! “Timbukwho?” the “Church says” … google it!

You see, most go to Man Made Church to be inspired and lifted up. For many times are very hard and they want comfort and hope. They want to know God. The reason is each of us have a hunger inside to know our Father and our TRUE NATURE. We all want to know the “meaning of life”…  But you go to some of these churches and they spend weeks teaching on the End Days, the Rapture, Armageddon, the Rise of the Anti-Christ, and people sit there petrified and worry that the world may be coming to an end.

Where is the peace they searched for? Where is their hope?

What these knucklehead fear mongers offer is hope for the future ONLY AFTER DEATH AND DESTRUCTION, or being whisked away. All of which is nonsense. Not a word of it is true. Salvation is not about tomorrow, salvation is for the here and now.

There is a big name pastor, who will remain nameless, this guy goes so far as have HUGE MURALS posted with artist renderings of the “antichrist” and he is sure, that this terrible war and monster is soon to come. He says scripture is speaking of Russia, China, Iran, Iraq, the US and others, as if he has somehow mystically un-coded the bible and now he wants to bring it to the world. And his misled flock sits there and eats it up, just like a teenager who goes to scary movie for the thrills. Only then to be tormented by nightmares and ignorant fears because these disturbing images and stories are dangerous to man’s psyche. These knucklehead beliefs inspire irrational fears, much like the fear of snakes, heights, close areas, or spiders, and prejudice, elitism and more.

If only they knew the truth about this AntiChrist and War WITHIN that is REALLY going down, they would rejoice and have a good laugh.

Then there are other conspiracy junkies (religious fanatics) who go so far as to say our President, the Pope, or Putin, or some other world leader is this dreaded Child of the Devil. Well if you are one who believes in a literal antichrist then that all may end after reading the rest of this article… that is, of course if these people make it this far.

Something I have learned about people and their beliefs, is they would rather hold onto the most monstrous lies than ACCEPT THEIR ERROR and be set free from it.

 John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

What this means is that people who are ignorant don’t want to come to the Truth, otherwise their BELIEFS are exposed as false. No one wants to be wrong, unless it is me in my house, because, according to the kidies I am always wrong. 🙂

Well, if your one of those people that believe this hogwash… TOUGH! Because I’m bringing the heat this morning and for some it may going to hurt.

TAKE YOU MEDICINE! TAKE IT! TAKE IT! 🙂

It is high time, the liars of the land WAKE UP from this nightmare they are spreading. The IGNORANT BELIEFS about the rapture, antichrist, Armageddon, etc are coming down. They already came down in my life and many others, now it’s the younger brothers and sisters turn.

 Revelation 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

You can consider me just another Angel coming along to say, YOUR CONFUSION IS DONE! Your great BELIEF SYSTEM OF LIES has made TOO MANY PEOPLE IGNORANT. TOO MANY have BECOME ONE with this HARLOT (False beliefs/idolatry/lies) SYSTEM (Religion). There have been many “angels” writing about this topic since before the dark ages. You can always look to William Blake for some great prose on the subject, and the potential of mankind’s imagination.

So let’s start our essay already with everyones favorite VILLAIN – THE ANTI-CHRIST. Let’s begin at looking at the ONLY VERSES in the bible that actually call this “Carnal Nature” IN Mankind the “ANTI-CHRIST”

When we take these scriptures in context and throw out all the garbage false teachers have added (PROBABLY BECAUSE they have watched the exorcist, or The Omen, one too many times, then it will be easy for you to see, who the ANTI-CHRIST is… And you may not like finding out the truth because it takes the blame off some so-called monster of the future, and puts the responsibilty smack dab in the middle of you… Unless of course, Christ has already kicked Him Out Of Your Temple (soulish thinking)

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Okay, first of all, let’s point out that this literally was written over a thousand years ago… John here was stating that the “Last Time” was back then. And he was right, as the “Last Time” is always RIGHT IN THE HERE AN NOW… It is the Last Day or Your Ignorance, and the First Day of Christ (truth).

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 

But to REALLY understand what John was writing about, when speaking of this “Last Time” we must start two verses earlier, to see what John is really talking about.

 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

John is saying we should NOT LOVE THE WORLD… Well, he is not talking about the literal world, but the THINGS OF THE WORLD.

So IS he talking about the air, dirt, grass, mountains, trees, bushes, animals, etc… AH NO! Look…

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Hope you are getting a clearer understanding now. The WORLD that John is talking about is MAN’S CARNAL THINKING, the Lust of the Flesh, the Lust of the Eyes, and The Pride of Life. – This is the WORLD he is talking about, not the LITERAL EARTH. The WORLD is a symbol, for all man EXISTS IN (Man’s THOUGHTS) – And IN MAN’S CARNAL WORLD, is lust of eyes, pride of life, and lust of flesh – (Eve is tempted with this, Jesus as well) – In fact, this is what all of us are tempted with. “when we are drawn away by our own lusts”

1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever

So, we see here, that MAN’S CARNAL WORLDLY THINKING will, WILL, WILL, PASS AWAY, and all of MAN’S LUSTS with it…  Only the THOUGHTS OF GOD remain forever.

This is good news. For a moment, God has allowed the WHEAT to grow up with the TARES (Inside our Thinking) for a moment! But at the END (End of Man’s Ignorance) His angels gather and bind every Tare and burn them away. 

The TRUTH destroys the LIES.

So far, it doesn’t appear that John is talking about some spooky supernatural being does it? Of course not, people, he is talking about the NATURE IN MAN that needs to be destroyed. The NATURE that is in opposition to the TRUTH OF GOD. John is talking about those who are RULED BY THE FLESH which is at war with the SPIRIT.

This is the ONLY WAR that the bible is speaking of. The WAR WITHIN. And yes, there are literal wars in the world, but that is simply because MAN IS STILL BEING RULED by the LUSTS WITHIN.

 So now we get to our first mention of the ANTICHRIST.

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Now watch, as the AntiChrist – Man’s Carnal Nature is exposed as simply being those that do not know the TRUTH. “Next verse same as the First”

 21I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.  22Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Look, “church”, the “ANTICHRIST” in black and white are those that DO NOT KNOW THE TRUTH. They aren’t literal demonic monsters… but men and women who, because they are ignorant of God’s truth act in monstrous ways… Hitler, a great example of that. 

When man is conditioned to believe a lie about anything, it is hard to depart from it. This is why I titled the paper, “The AntiChrist and You, friends until the End” … People outside of the wisdom of God, in their error and possession (false beliefs) do some pretty monstrous things. But the antichrist isn’t some creature possessing them to do it, Mankind’s own carnal egocentric nature is what motivates such awful behavior.

 William Arthur Ward wrote “If you can imagine it you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it.” <— By the way, I have no clue who that is.

Evidence of this random quote I pulled from the internet, you’ll find all over scripture. “Whatever a man believes in his heart that he becomes.” – You see our THOUGHTS CREATE. I will have an essay on the power of our thoughts in the future, but for now, I want to show you how MAN’S CARNAL thought give birth to the most horrific images, and these images give birth to the most horrific actions.

 Does art imitate life, or does life imitate art. I say the later.

Let’s move on, to further prove this ANTICHRIST is nothing more than the person we believe ourselves to be (as truly we are ONLY CHRIST to begin with)

 Now one of the reasons, people see this “antichrist” figure as someone who is COMING in the future, is the misunderstanding of the word used to explain how the ANTICHRIST is REVEALED. In many scriptures, the word that is used is “COME” SEE BELOW.

1 John 4:3
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

So a person could teach that this ANTICHRIST is COMING IN THE FUTURE, if they didn’t bother to check out what the word “COME” really meant when translated from the Koine Greek… The give away, that this has NOTHING to do with the future is in the next line.

and even now already is it in the world.

So how can something COME and already BE IN THE WORLD NOW? Well, when the word “COME” is translated it becomes pretty clear.

COME – “ERCHOMAI” – Definition and proper translation is: ARISE, BECOME KNOWN, BE UNDERSTOOD, BE REVEALED.

So, now lets’ look at this verse with the RIGHT EYES. You see, this is how the Antichrist (Carnal Nature In Man) can COME (Be REVEALED) and BE IN THE WORLD.

This has nothing to do with a literal man coming onto the Global scene and deceiving the whole world. I MEAN REALLY PEOPLE, think about it.

This ANTICHRIST is said to STAND IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD and DECLARE HIMSELF TO BE GOD… And there are millions that believe, a Literal Temple is going to be built, and some Guy is going to stand there and say I AM GOD WORSHIP ME!

First of all, consider what TEMPLE this ANTICHRIST reigns from…. WE ARE THE TEMPLE! Hello? Is this thing on? Check, check, one, two, one, two.

We are the TEMPLE OF GOD, Our CARNAL NATURE (who we thought/or think ourselves to be) is SITTING ON THE THRONE OF GOD, DECLARING HIMSELF TO BE GOD.

Don’t believe me? Well, most people will say, “YOU HAVE TO CHOSE GOD” Basically, that means that we believe WE ARE IN CONTROL, not God. ß Sorry guys, that is the ANTICHRIST speaking in you.

Matthew 24:15
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

This is why, we are told to FLEE from this sort of thinking. The INSTANT we realize that our EGO is the ANTICHRIST, that who we THINK WE ARE, is actually the enemy of God, we are to FLEE from this thought process.

There is a scripture that says, once the ANTICHRIST is REVEALED, Christ comes and destroys it with the BRIGHTNESS OF HIS COMING (REVEALING)

Think about that without the scripture staring you in the face. THE INSTANT you understand that your CARNAL EGO is the ENEMY, that is when IT IS DESTROYED, because the TRUTH which is CHRIST takes the throne from that moment on to rule.

This story of the end of the world, the battle in heaven, the war to end all wars is an allegory for the FIGHT between the TRUTH OF GOD (which prevails) and the LIES OF CARNAL MAN. The FLESH is at war with the SPIRIT. Now look below.

2 Thes 7 For the mystery of iniquity (antichrist) doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

Notice the word MYSTERY! This is not a literal thing here. This is why the WHOLE WORLD IS DECIEVED. The carnal ego of man is the SIN OF ADAM, it is the FALL, it is leaving the TRUTH OF GOD and who we are “CHRIST IN YOU” for the belief, we are mortal men and women who are in control of our destiny. (antichrist)

Here we see, this WICKEDNESS (Ignorance) is already at who… Notice the next line, he who letteth will let (he who allows it will allow it and be ruled by it) UNTIL PEOPLE, it is taken away. God will deliver humanity, this is what Jesus taught us by dying on the Cross. Our salvation is when we too die of this ANTICHRIST in us.

 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

As I stated above, once we realize there is no spooky monster posing as a politician or world leader, but is actually OUR CARNAL EGO, once this is revealed by the TRUTH OF CHRIST, that the TRUTH OF CHRIST (who is out LIFE) will consume it and destroy it. The LIES we believe fall away, and never take hold of us again.

10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

It is not about some literal man we need to be saved from, it is the LIES in our HEAD, we need to be saved from. IT IS THE TRUTH that sets us free.

 Oh I know what your thinking, (if you still want to hold onto your scary beliefs) … WHAT ABOUT THAT MARK and 666.

Okay, let me address this quick.

Rev 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Okay, let me get rid of the scary word BEAST here for you. Any lover of poetry would see the symbolism here of a BEAST. “Oh Jacob, you Beast you!” ß My wife could use these words to describe me while ravishing her…. Dinner. (Come on, people, it’s a family show)

To act Beastly is to act CARNAL, like an ANIMAL. But don’t take my word for it, scripture tells us plainly who the “BEAST” IS… that we all worship, or have worshipped. Take a look:

Psalm 49:20
Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish. (The ignorant man, the one who doesn’t know TRUTH is like a BEAST)

Ecclesiastes 3:18
I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

Look at that, just as I have been stating. God will REVEAL the BEAST nature in man, and consume it, replacing it with the TRUE KING CHRIST!

2 Peter 2:12
But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

Jude 1:10
But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

Okay, by now, you get the point. The BEAST/ANTICHRIST = Man’s Carnal EGO! But let’s continue with the whole BUYING AND SELLING with the mark of the beast. You know, all these preachers and prophets love to talk about THE CHIP! ßinsert dramatic music.

YES, THE DREADED CHIP…we must NEVER TAKE! It amazes me, how even I once believed this conspiracy nonsense, I BOUGHT IT hook line and sinker… Did you catch that. When I was IGNORANT I BOUGHT the nonsense, they were selling.

 16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

The right hand (Judgement/authority/works) and forehead (thinking) – but what is this MARK… THE MARK OF THE BEAST (carnal Man)

Well, we have all heard the expression, the ANIMAL MARKS his territory. So on one hand, this MARK could simply be the ACTIONS AND THOUGHTS associated with such ignorant thinking. This MARK is how we KNOW who the BEAST is. And how do we know, well by the WORKS OF THEIR HANDS and the THOUGHTS IN THEIR HEAD.

To MARK something, means to NOTICE IT.

Psalm 37:37
Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

The buying and selling here, is a clear reference to what was going on in the Temple. The buying and selling of the SACRAFICE. People were buying and selling, and unfortunately, the SACRAFICE which is actually CHRIST is being BOUGHT AND SOLD today.

In a NUTSHELL <– Appropriate vessel for such thinking.

Look, you don’t have to go very far to find Jesus books, tee shirts, oils, gum, dvd’s, cd’s, etc etc… Jesus is bought and sold in almost every man made church today… BUT NOTICE, ONLY THOSE WITH THE MARK OF THE BEAST WILL BUY IT!

Did you catch that “church”… if you DON’T BELIEVE WHAT THEY BELIEVE, you CAN’T BUY AND SELL what they are BUYING AND SELLING. You know it is all VANITY and IDOLATRY and HOGWASH.

Christ isn’t for sale, only a BEAST would think you could Buy or Sell God. Now, it should be BLATANTLY OBVIOUS by now, that the ONLY ANTICHRIST is CARNAL MAN’S EGO… It is OUR FALSE IDENTITY, it is who we THINK we are, our EGO, not who we TRULY ARE (Christ IN You)

The only Monster there is, is the MONSTER within MAN’S CARNAL EGO… But once, we understand, that WE (ignorant egomaniacs) are the ANTICHRIST… then THE TRUTH can set us free!  

One last thing I want to point out, which should be so obvious I can’t believe the LIES OF MAN has blinded so many of God’s lost tribe. The next verse TELLS YOU in PLAIN OLD ENGLISH (I use KJV) who and what the ANTICHRIST is…

 18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

IT IS MAN!!!!!!

THE PRODIGAL WILL RETURN


I’m sure, if you made it to this blog, you have heard the story of the prodigal’s return. You’ve also been taught that this is an allegory for all of us. I used to believe that to be true as well. And yes, to certain extent it is. We all have gone astray and have had realized how bankrupt we were without God, and how lost we were without God’s TRUTH (Christ revealed in us). Even though, God had His hand (authority) on us every step of the way. 

Most don’t believe this of course, not many will go on record and say, “God is in control of everything, even our ignornace!” … well Paul did for us, in the book of Romans 8, he says “The Creature (Our souls) were made subject to VANITY, NOT WILLINGLY, but by REASON of HE who SUBJECTED US also in Hope. You see, even our frustration and pain has a point.  The story of the prodigal is beautiful illustration of this. As the Father allowed the Younger to go into the FAR COUNTRY to learn that only in the Father’s house is there peace, life, and sustenance.

So, we all have seen the story of the Prodigal as a picture of US…  However, about six months ago I came to another great understanding of what this story represents, and who these TWO SONS are.

First the cliff notes, Jacob Israel style!

The prodigal story tells the tale of two brothers and a wealthy Father. One brother stays with the Father and endures the trials associated with laboring in the Father’s fields… The other, the younger of the two, goes buck wild, takes his inheritance, and parties like it’s 1999 all over again. The younger, after what must have seemed like the hangover of the century, comes to his senses. After losing everything and being forced to eat the same pig food he fed pigs with he finally decides to return to Dad and beg for Papa’s forgiveness. He finds the Father was actually waiting for him in the field. A picture of how God never takes his eyes off us, and waits patiently for our return… So the younger, gets to his Dad and says “I’ve sinned against you and heaven” the Father doesn’t condemn him, in fact he throws the younger brother a big party… Now if this was an episode of “Intervention” the counselor would not suggest such a thing, we wouldn’t want the younger brother to relapse now would we?… HOWEVER, the celebration is an allegory, as well as the story as  whole. So the Father demands, “KILL THE FATTED CALF, GET HIM A ROBE AND HIS FAVORITE BUNNY SLIPPERS AND PUT A RING ON THAT SKINNY FINGER OF HIS!” – Everyone of these things you’ll learn are symbolic, beside the Bunny Slippers, they are just awesome and comfy cozy… So, we cut to:  Older brother coming back from working the fields… He hears all the hoopla and gets heated, “DAD!!!!!” He says, “I am the best son in the whole wide world and you never threw me a party!”… The older brother’s jealousy seems petty to the reader, instead of being happy for his brother’s return he stomps his feet like a little whiner baby. His Father has to remind him, “All that I have is YOURS.”

So why this parable? … Well, in Luke’s gospel Chapter 15, a bunch of publicans and sinners came near to hear Jesus. (To understand the things of the kingdom)

Luke 15:2: And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

Them BAD RELIGIOUS loved to condemn the J-man. It’s sad really, when you think the same thing is going on today. Unfortunately, dear old Solomon was right in saying, “There is nothing new under the sun.” Whatever was back then is alive and well today.

The irony is many religious leaders, and devote church goers will in one breath condemn the Pharisees behavior, and then in the other tell you, “You better not get involved with anyone who is NOT A BELIEVER”… This elitism and prejudice is welcome and encouraged in Bad Religion today. NOT in the Kingdom of God I assure you.

Many of the Bad Religious, will even use scripture to justify such behavior… Mind you, they have no clue as what these verses they are quoting really mean. Like the one below.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Oh sure, at first glance you might think the unbeliever is someone who just doesn’t know God. But,  consider what a Yolk is… A YOLK is a restraint/bondage that is used to CONTROL AN ANIMAL… In this case, the UNBELIEVER would seek to control the BELIEVER… Now, how many people do you know OUTSIDE MAN MADE RELIGION that try and control you with a bunch of nonsense? Not many… You see, the UNBELIEVER in this case, are the BAD RELIGIOUS — Side note Church: when I say “bad religious”, of course I’m not talking about YOU 🙂 … or am I? Just kidding, Jacob loves you as God loves Jacob people!)

So the UNBELIEVERS are the IGNORANT RELIGIOUS TYPES that condemn you and tell you, do this, do that! GROWWWWWWLLLLL! 

The UNBELIEVER here is NOT someone who hasn’t been baptized, or confessed Christ as Lord. The UNBELIEVER is the opposite, the Unbeliever is the Bad Religious person who ignorantly heaps a bunch of traditions, laws, and error on top of you, so you will have no joy in life at all.

The worst of which, is condemning you if say, you fall in love with someone who is not a “Christian.”

Now, listen Church, if you look at people as saved and unsaved you have missed the message of the gospel! So catch it now!

Peter worried that he couldn’t hang with those who were outside the faith. God gave him a vision, and rebuked him. Peter was all like… “No God, nothing unclean has ever touched my lips!” — MEATHEAD! Think about it, God says, KILL AND EAT and Peter is like, NAH! I don’t eat that stuff, meanwhile you know darn well, Peter was going back for seconds and thirds at the Bacon Buffet right before Paul called him out… Mmmmnn Bacon is GOOOOD!

Anyway, God whacks Peter upside the head with a vision. All the beasts, insects, basically everything and everyone God created, and God says to him…  Acts 10:15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

He then goes on to explain… “God is no respecter of persons” – You see God doesn’t esteem one better than another, like Man does. 

But now I’m about to throw all of you a curve ball… You’ll find, what is good for the goose is good for the gander, whatever the heck a gander is! (Just Kidding, being the gooseologist I am, I know full well what a Gander is) but that has nothing to do with this essay here. 

What I mean is, if God doesn’t think higher of Pharisees than others, than he doesn’t think higher of the “others” than he does the Pharisees.

You’ll find at the end of this study, the Prodigal returning has more to do with the Bad Religious Pharisee types than it does with those who have come to the knowledge of the truth after being ignorant of it.

I want to really hammer this point home, God does NOT want us to stay away from people who do not know “Jesus”… Obviously, Jesus hung out with, ate, and drank with, sinners and publicans and we are cut from the same cloth. God wants us to accept, love, forgive, and guide all the people of the world…

But we are warned not to be UNEQUALLY YOKED with the laws and false beliefs of the Pharisees of the day.

So marry who you want to marry, just make sure you love each other. And when someone asks you, “Is the person you are dating a believer?” tell them, ZIP IT YOU! … Just because a person doesn’t belong to your local man-made church, does not mean they are not a believer. A person who loves and does not condemn, who forgives and accepts is more a believer, that someone who tithes, goes to church, helps with the annual food drive, etc, and has not love.

Romans 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves

You see, although many would have you to believe that YOU somehow have to allow Jesus to enter your heart, (As if he is somewhere out there beyond the mikyway waiting for YOUR INVITATION)… Listen up, Christ is the LIFE in you already. Christ is the LIFE and LIGHT of all men, which shines in darkness. Even those who do not understand this LIFE, can unwittingly share the love of Christ with others, as Christ is their LIFE FORCE to begin with. Paul understood this, which is why he wrote about it, in Romans chapter 2.

Romans 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness…

God has a new covenant with us today. He is writing the law on our hearts. All will know God the scriptures say. If only more believed this. Now I know what you’re saying… But Jacob, DON’T WE NEED TO ACCEPT CHRIST AS OUR LORD! … What do you think?

Christ is the TRUTH AND THE ONLY WAY to the FATHER… If you don’t UNDERSTAND and SUBMIT TO CHRIST you will NEVER BE FREE! So yes, if you don’t believe on the NAME (nature) Jesus (God’s Truth/Salvation Revealed in Man) than how could you ever be free? … Think about it! So yes, I believe without a shadow of a doubt that WE MUST and WILL! That’s good news people, spread it! 

Back to our Prodigal story.

So the Mean Religious Leaders of Jesus’ day had a problem with Jesus hanging with what they considered the dregs of society…

Luke 2:3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying, What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

You see, Jesus (The TRUTH/WORD of God revealed as MAN) does not lose ONE of those the Father gave him to save. “out of all you have given me Father, I have lost not one.” – the only one lost is the SON OF PERDITION (the carnal nature of man) –

The Pharisees did not believe God would save EVERYONE. But here Jesus is showing them, with worldly things, how God is better than man, as man would go after one of his lost sheep, God will go after all who have gone astray…

Now if people believed this, than they would stop looking at others as saved and unsaved. They would understand, that those people, who at the moment seem so far from God, will eventually be FOUND AGAIN.

Which brings us to the Prodigal story.

 11And he said, A certain man had two sons:  12And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.  13And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.  14And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.  15And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.  16And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.  17And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!  18I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,  19And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.  20And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.  21And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.  22But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:  23And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:  24For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.  25Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.  26And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.  27And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.  28And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.  29And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:  30But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.  31And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.  32It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

It has been taught that this is the story of US. How we are the prodigal that finally returned home…  And the Church says, WE KNOW JACOB, YOU’VE SAID THAT ALREADY…  Settle down people, I’m getting there.

So we’ve been taught, it’s about US (the remnant) …  But I tell you, NAY! (Don’t you love how some people break out the old English to sound all spiritual and such…)

NAY!!!!! I SAY, TODAY, WISHING IT WAS MAY, SO I CAN GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY, IN THE HAY! <— Too far?

No!!!! It’s NOT ABOUT THE REMNANT! It’s NOT ABOUT THE FIRST FRUIT, or FIRST STRIPE, or FRUITSTRIPE GUM.

You’ll soon see, the Prodigal is actually those BAD RELIGIOUS LEADERS. The PRODIGAL are the PHARISEES, the ones we all love to condemn… WHAT? Did I just write that? YES! I did.

Many of you, who have come to this page, have probably had your unhealthy share of condemnation for your differing beliefs. But did you ever stop to think about how far down your nose, you look at those BAD RELIGIOUS LEADER TYPES?… I have, and if you’ve seen my Publicity Shot, you know, My Nose is a BIG ONE to look down! …

So, if you  see the Pharisees of today in a negative light, as I did (Until the parable of the Prodigal become clear to me). Then you may change your tune after reading the rest of this article.

Let us remember, God is no respecter of persons. He does not think higher of one than another. This is why Jesus said on the cross, “Forgive them Father, they know not what they do.”

A child who can’t read isn’t condemned for not knowing how. The child is loved and encouraged and taught. The same is true, for all of God’s creation. The Pharisees included.

We cannot think higher of ourselves, just because we have a grander view of God’s plan. We cannot condemn those who we seem to be charlatans or fear mongers, even if they put Plastic Gold Confetti in their hair and tell everyone that God is pouring out his spirit as Gold Dust, or even if, the Pharisees say, God told me to kick him square in the gut to cure his cancer, (Which one of these KNUCKLEHEADS did.) Look, we can’t look down on them, because their total meatheads who haven’t had the truth revealed to them yet. We have to roll the way Jesus rolls, when looking at others who are ignorant and in SIN (error/foolish thinking)

Luke 7:31 And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like? They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.They are like kids, they are IMMATURE, they are the YOUNGER SON, they don’t know any better. So even though, in a round about way, I am sort of mocking the SIGNS AND WONDERS BRIGADE, I really have not animosity toward them. They are my YOUNGER BROTHER after all, and THEY WILL RETURN! 

Just because their ways are false. We have to stop being like the OLDER BROTHER who is whining and complaining and carrying on when the younger brother finally comes home from whoring around and feeding the pigs. All you pastors of The Way know, deep down, you just WISH YOUR CONGREGATION was as big as the Prophets of Baal today… You’re all working those fields, tired, weary, persecuted, struggling to get by, then when the Big day comes, we find out the Prophets of Baal realized their mistake, they humbled themselves before God and God says, LET’S ROCK N ROLL!

 I used to look at some of these big name healers and preachers in such a negative light. I saw them taking advantage of so many people who truly needed to hear the things of God. There was a part of me, that thought I was better than them. Perhaps, there still is a remnant of this pride in me. FATHER REMOVE IT, but keep my wicked sense of humor in tact! Today, I admit, I still can’t stomach to hear things that I know are not true. But like Jesus, we must not condemn and hate those who are merely ignorant of the truth. As they are blind for a moment.

Romans 11:25: For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.  26And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:  27For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Paul understood this as well. He was telling those who understood the truth, “Don’t think you’re any better, just because right now they can’t understand what you understand. God has done this, so he could have mercy on all… ALL WILL BE SAVED, when God takes away their sin.”

Even the mean old Pharisees, will have their SIN (foolish ignorant thoughts) ripped away and will be “brought to the knowledge of the truth.”

So, truly, this Prodigal Story is about those who may be, right now, fleecing the flock. They are the YOUNGER BROTHER who took the money and ran. Don’t believe me? Well keep reading, ye of little belief!

Let’s rip each verse apart, and see what falls out.

13And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living

A younger son is not as MATURE as the older. This is symbolic of understanding. The Younger does not have the experiential wisdom of the older. So we see that the YOUNGER is a picture of someone not as mature in the faith.

This SON (as we are all children of God) took his journey into a FAR COUNTRY, Symbolic of being far from the Truth. LEAVING THE KINGDOM OF GOD as depicted in Jesus’ parable of the man who went into a Far Country and almost lost his property in the process.

1 Kings 8:41 Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name’s sake.

So the IMMATURE in the Faith, leave the TRUTH of God, for RIOTOUS living. And what is this symbolic of?

 2 Peter 2:12-14 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceiving while they feast with you; Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

Here we see those that spend their time on RIOTOUS LIVING are actually those TEACHING LIES and deceiving people. They claim the truth of God yet only teach COVETOUS PRACTICES… Does that sound like any PHARISEES we know?

 14And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

The FAMINE is symbolic of a lack of TRUTH. You see,  In Babylon you don’t get much Fruit, Meat, or Milk… but I hear they have a mean rice pilaf! Okay, of course, the famine in the land, means there is NO TRUTH.  One day, even these Religious leaders who have left the truth of God to teach lies, will find out how VAIN their beliefs and traditions are.

The FAMINE in the land has always been a symbol of Carnal Man coming to his senses and going to God to be fed.

15And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.  16And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him

Notice, how the YOUNGER BROTHER fed the SWINE. PIGS have always been a symbol of man’s ignorance and dangerous beliefs. PIGS will eat anything you feed them. This is why the LAW forbid the consumption of pork. Not because literal pigs are the devil, but because it is a SYMBOL of NOT BECOMING ONE with IGNORANCE. Also, a Pig Doesn’t have  A CLOVEN (separated) HOOF! Symbolic of not having a SEPARATE WALK from the world.

The YOUNGER BROTHER (the immature deceiver who left the truth/kingdom of God) is seen FEEDING these swine. It is easy to see, that the YOUNGER BROTHER is an allegory of the PHARISEES who are feeding the IGNORANT a steady diet of whatever SLOP (lies/error/vanity/bondage) they want.

17And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!  

What a great line… WHEN HE CAME TO HIMSELF – For those that can receive it, this means “when HE understands who HE is!” = “Christ IN You” … When he REMEMBERS AND UNDERSTANDS he is a SON OF GOD, he will want to return to Daddy!

When this YOUNGER SON came to his RIGHT MIND (The mind of Christ), he understood, that in his FATHER’S HOUSE there is enough BREAD (truth) and without the TRUTH he is as good as dead (CARNAL).

When you look at this parable through different eyes, it is easy to see, that the YOUNGER BROTHER are the RELIGIOUS ELITE who are IGNORANT today. And the OLDER BROTHER are those God has quickened to understand the Truth, and that may be YOU FRIEND OF MINE READING RIGHT NOW… That is of course, if you made it this far… Glad you’re still with me.

Now, I know, I have been guilty of condemning people who teach lies in the past. Nevertheless, when I understood that I was being like the OLDER BROTHER and condemning my YOUNGER BROTHER (immature religious leader/deceiver) for the ignorance of his ways… I repented.

I understood that it doesn’t matter if I have held the truth longer, and endured persecution by these Religious Pharisees.

How could I say to God, who loves all and is NO RESPECTER of persons… “DAD, HOW CAN YOU THROW A PARTY FOR HIS RETURN?”

One day, even those who are the most lost, and most destructive in the world, will come to understand how bankrupt they are without CHRIST. They, like the Younger Son, will feel that they are not worthy to return to God after they have wasted their inheritance on HARLOTS (Lies/Idolatry) …

However, when they return, and THE PRODIGALS WILL RETURN… God is waiting with open arms.

So, for all you OLDER SONS and DAUGHTERS out there that are suffering the heat of the day. Pray for your Younger brothers return and Thank God, because ALL THAT GOD HAS IS YOURS, AND YOURS IS HIS…

Stop talking bad about them, stop thinking bad about them, and stop hating them… Don’t be hating Church, just  FORGIVE THEM FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO!

 SPIRIT DOESN’T HAVE FLESH AND BONE

This morning I felt compelled to study the true meaning of the word “BONE” in scripture. We first hear this word, when Adam speaks to Eve and says, “This is flesh of my flesh, and bone of my bone.” The reason, I was compelled to study the word “Bone”, was because of a prophesy concerning Jesus that not one of his BONES would be broken. However, what came out of this study, in the end, had more to do with the REVELATION of CHRIST IN US, than anything else.

Let’s start by look at that passage that starting me down the looking glass.

 John 19:36: For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

Why this struck me so, was because it was the first time I considered what our BONES actually do.

An adult Human Being has some 206 bones in their body. Without these bones to support us and help us to move, we would not be able to live, function, exist. The Bones HOLD US UP! That is important to note, for everything in the physical world is a symbol of what is going on in the spiritual.

 Romans 1:20: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made.

That in itself is a wonderful revelation. Once you begin to look at your life through the eyes of allegory the mysteries of the Kingdom of God open up to us.  Believe it or not, everything in our lives physically is a symbol of what is going on spiritually. The physical world is a map to the spiritual. Take nothing for granted in life, all things work together for our good. As one interprets the symbols of dreams to understand the subconscious mind, we too should allow the Spirit of Truth to reveal the meaning of the symbols in our physical life. From our illness and disease, to how messy or neat our room is, to the street we live on, or how many stories our home is… Where we are in life is a representation of where we are spiritually. If there is no peace and love in our home, there is no love and peace in our heart. What we hate in others is what we fear the most about ourselves.

There is an old saying, “whatever is without is within”

We must remember, even though the physical explains the spiritual, we must NEVER mistake the physical for the spiritual.  The Temporal things in our lives may help us to better understanding the Eternal things of the Spirit, but we are NOT to put our trust and faith, in the things that are literally seen, touched, tasted, smelt, or heard. This world, should almost be looked upon as an illusion.

In Buddhism, the name for this ILLUSION of LIFE is MAYA. What is interesting about this, is the name of the Queen who gives birth to the Man Siddhatha, who becomes the Buddha, is MAYA… The Enlightened Ones Mothers is Maya (The Illusion of Life) … What a wonderful allegory of how the ILLUSION of THIS LIFE gives birth to ENLIGHTENMENT.

Oh, I know “Church” “How dare I bring up Buddhism on a typically Christian Blog?” 

Well, if you don’t like the allegory of Buddha’s birth, then let’s look at Jesus, who of course is my favorite, Christ the TRUTH, the Savior, and the story of his birth. His Mother’s name was MARY.

Mary in GREEK means “THEIR REBELLION” = Illusion/Lies – Same story being told here. Out of MAN’S REBELLION comes ENLIGHTENMENT = CHRIST.

Where was I? … Oh that’s right, not to put our faith in Temporal things. The reason, they are TEMPORARY and if they are TEMPORARY they are not REAL (enduring/truth)

2 Corinthians 4:18: While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

So, we understand the things of God by everything around us, in us, physically and sensually. But we are not to put our faith in TEMPORARY things. There is no hope for SALVATION in the SENSUAL world. That means people, there is no HOPE for Salvation IN ANYTHING outside of you, anything you can see, touch, taste, smell, or hear, cannot SAVE YOU, because, according to scripture it is TEMPORAL.

We are not to walk by our five senses, sight, touch, taste, smell, hearing… We are to walk by FAITH.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight:

Seriously, I challenge you to look at your life through new eyes. Walk by Faith. Don’t wait for salvation to come outside of you, or to return, because you will be waiting for a long, long, long time.

Jesus said, ” I am the ressurection and the life” “The Kingdom is Within”

Salvation is a NOW thing.

But I digress, let’s go back to what I was wirting about above… If we  really look at your circumstances, and then compare them to spiritual things. We can see what is going in SPIRITUALLY, “whatever without is first within.”

Romans 1:20: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made.

So this is why the word BONES, struck me so. Since everything physical and temporal is a representation for us of things eternal and spiritual, I knew there was more to this story.

Just as the Literal, Physical Body of Jesus of Nazareth did not have one of it’s bones broken on the Cross… Spiritually, not one of the BONES (OUR SOULS) of the spiritual Body of Christ, will be BROKEN on the Cross…

This should create a sense of awe in you. Really think about this last statement… On the Cross NOT ONE BONE will be broken. This means in the END its all good, people.

John 6:37: All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

The work is finished in VICTORY! Not ONE BONE broken.

John 18:9 That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

We understand that our literal BONES, primarily support and hold up our Body. They also make it possible for movement. So let us look at the symbolism here. If the BONES hold up the BODY and help the BODY to MOVE… And WE are the BODY OF CHRIST… Then, the SOULS of mankind are perhaps the BONES, who in the end are completely WHOLE and NOT BROKEN AT ALL.

So this, thought, that OUR SOULS are the BONES of the BODY OF CHRIST, that support the body and help the Body to Move, is why I began this study. But as I studied, something truly wonderful opened up to me about Christ’s appearing to the disciples after the ressurection.

Bones first:

This first evidence that immediately came to mind, was ISRAEL. Why Israel you say? Well, Israel is said to be the BODY OF CHRIST. As Christ came for this lost house.

So Israel, symbolically, would be the BONES that held up the body of Christ in the world. And Lo, and Behold, in the book of Ezekiel the answer is given as plain as day. The BONES are the Entire House of Israel.

Ezekiel 37: 11 Son of man, THESE BONES are the whole house of Israel.

Not the Literal House of Israel, for Bones are found INSIDE THE PERSON. The bones hold up the person, whether they be crooked or not. So you see, the Bones are the SOUL of this house of Israel. God said to the Prophet, look at these Dead Dried Up Bones, do you think they can live? Then God breathed on them and they came to life. Much the same way Adam became a LIVING SPIRIT.

What a great picture of how when the TRUTH OF GOD is poured into our soul (we remember) and these DEAD BONES (CARNAL SOULS) come to LIFE (TRUTH and ETERNITY) = CHRIST

Proverbs 14: A sound heart (soul) is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.

Yes, there are plenty of scriptures I can quote, to show that BONES, are symbolic of the SOULS of man (The Entire House of Israel). Here are a couple. 

Proverbs 16:24:  Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, health to the bones.

Isaiah 58:11:  And the LORD shall guide thee, and satisfy thy soul in drought, make fat thy bones      

What makes this wonderful is that the finished work of Christ is prophesied and fulfilled. In addition, in this fulfillment not one of JESUS’S BONES (Mankind’s soul) is broken. Mankind’s soul is what makes up the BODY OF CHRIST.

 Adam said to EVE this is Flesh of my Flesh, Bone of My Bone… Eve is also symbolic of MAN’S SOUL (The bride of Adam) – Our Souls are the bride of CHRIST… God is SPIRIT not MAN that he should lie (Book of Numbers)

So we see in Adam and Eve, a picture of the UNITY of GOD’S SPIRIT and MAN’S SOUL – as Husband and Wife becoming ONE.  It is MAN’S soul that strayed and ate of the Tree, and the SPIRIT of God (Christ) followed into Man’s Soulish Carnal Death, to overcome it with TRUTH and save Man’s soul in the process, by becoming ONE WITH IT.

Now, while studying the word BONE in scripture, I was led to this passage below in Luke.

Luke 24: 38 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

You see, this actually became the crux of this essay. Many assume that when Jesus appeared to his disciples after his resurrection, that when he said, BEHOLD MY HANDS AND FEET, he was speaking in literal/temporal terms.

As if he was saying, “Hey I know you don’t recognize me, but CHECK OUT THESE HANDS AND FEET people” and then they say “Oh my goodness, Now we KNOW its you, no one has hands and feet like that!”  <- Insert laugh here.

What a strange way to get someone to recognize you if it be literal… Don’t you think?

First of all, wouldn’t those piercing blue eyes, well manicured beard, and long hippie hair be a dead give away (As this is the way many think f Jesus today) But no, they didn’t recognize him, until he showed them his HANDS AND FEET.

By now, you know that I am all about the allegorical meaning of scripture. So, after thinking about these words HANDS and FEET, I immediately began to dig up scriptures to explain what the HANDS and FEET represent.

Initially, I thought on the symbolism of our hands, and our feet. What our hands do, and feet do. Of course, my first thoughts were Hands (create, toil, strength, power etc) and FEET (walk, journey, standing) 

As I wrote earlier, you can simply look to the TEMPORAL to understand the SPIRITUAL…  Then you can go to the scripture to see if there is a witness of what you already, inherently know (Inherited Understanding) …  The TRUTH is WITHIN people. The WITNESS is without.

 So, I studied the scriptures and it made it beautifully clear what the HANDS and FEET are symbolic of.

The words Hands and Feet are used many times in scripture. The Pharisees gave Jesus a hard time for not washing his hands, Jesus washed the disciples feet. Peter asked for his hands, feet, and head to be washed…

Of Course, probably the most significant is that Chris’s HANDS AND FEET were pierced on the cross. So let us uncover what the HANDS and FEET SYMBOLICALLY represent for us ETERNALLY. This will lay the foundation for the great revelation to come.

FEET – The Symbolism

Romans 3:15 –  Their feet are swift to shed blood. (Man’s ways)

1 Cor 15:25 –    For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet (Man’s soul).

Proverbs 19:2 – Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.

Obviously, FEET don’t sin… they stink sometimes, but they don’t sin.

Psalm 119:59: I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

Man’s WAYS are symbolic of FEET.

Proverbs 4:26: Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

Here we see FEET are also symbolic of GOD’S WAYS.

Prov 1 15My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:  16For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.

Psalm 66:9 Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.

FEET = MAN’S OR GOD’S WAYS = MAN’S SOUL

We see here that FEET are the WAYS OF MAN/SOUL or GOD’S WAYS.

Now where this gets interesting is when you look at some of the scriptures that describe everything being put under the FEET of Christ (The WAYS OF CHRIST)

Romans 16  19For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.  20And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.

1 Corinthians 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

Everything, eventually is put beneath the ways of GOD.

Revelation 1:15 And his feet (man’s ways in Christ) like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace.

Isn’t it interesting, the picture of these FEET is like FINE BRASS, as if burned in a furnace… This is a beautiful picture of how the TRIALS OF OUR LIVES lead us into the Kingdom of Heaven. “Through MUCH tribulation enter we the Kingdom”… Look at how God chose to REFINE US.

Isaiah 48:10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

No wonder the FEET (THE WAYS/THOUGHTS) look like they’ve been through hell and back… because they have.

LET’S MOVE OVER TO THE HANDS:

Genesis 3:22: And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Genesis 31:29: It is in the power of my hand to do you hurt:

Nehemiah 1:10 Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand.

Job 1:12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand.

Isaiah 50:2: Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver?

Side note here about that last verse… Ask yourself, Are God’s HAND (AUTHORITY/POWER) shortened that God cannot redeem? I say no… Millions of “Christians” disagree. They say God CANNOT save unless MAN lets him… That is something isn’t it? The creation tells the creator what the Creator can and cannot do… Oh WELLLLLLLL! Moving on.

Mark 14:62: And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Deuteronomy 4:28: And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, (CREATIONS)

Psalm 8:6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: (GODS WORKS/AUTHORITY/CREATIONS)

Okay by now, you should be able to understand, we don’t have to go far to see that HANDS AND FEET can be understood by simply looking at the attributes of literal hands and feet, AND by searching the scriptures to give a witness to those sticklers who think the scriptures and the end all be all or everything that is God. Question for you though? What bible did Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Moses, Joseph, etc etc read?… ahhhh moving on.

HANDS are symbolic of (Creations/Works/Authority/Power)

FEET are symbolic of (Ways, Thinking, Nature)

If you can receive it, THIS is how CHRIST IS KNOWN. Not by looking at some temporal, physical, literal, HANDS and FEET… But by looking upon the Authority, Works, Thoughts, Nature, Power, And Creations of the SPIRIT WITHIN.

“CHRIST IN YOU, the HOPE of GLORY”

So the account in LUKE must also be seen with different eyes.

Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

What I am now going to attempt to do is show you that this is an allegorical telling of how CHRIST appears TO US, IN US, AMONG US, not in literal terms, but in spiritual.

Paul tells us, we are to know NO MAN AFTER THE FLESH but after the SPIRIT.

Now pay attention, I don’t want you to miss this. THE KEY WORD HERE IS … SPIRIT.

John 4:24: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

AND

1 John 4:12: No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Did you catch that? … YOU CAN’T LITERALLY SEE SPIRIT, you can ONLY UNDERSTAND IT (SEE/PERCIEVE)

So what is SPIRIT? Well, God is SPIRIT. Jesus said, HIS WORDS are SPIRIT. SPIRIT cannot be seen, held, touched, tasted, smelled, SPIRIT is ETERNAL not TEMPORAL as carnal man sees and believes without, Christ is WITHIN.

What I am getting at here people is a NEW UNDERSTANDING of what this verse means.

Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

You see, we have been taught that Jesus physically appears to his disciples, and says look at my literal hands, touch them, look at my feet… YOU SEE I’m FLESH AND BONE like YOU… BUT!!!!!! That is NOT what is going on here. It is actually the opposite.

When CHRIST appeared to the disciples the reason they were so scared, was they FINALLY were being taught, that JESUS was not to appear OUTSIDE of them, but IN THEM, AS THEM…

They believed Jesus to have literal Flesh and Bones, and to be separate from them. But the revelation of CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of Glory is what is being dealt with here.

Jesus prayed, “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.  22And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.”

It’s all about CHRIST IN YOU people. When Judas, not Iscariot asked Jesus how he will appear to them after his “literal” death… Jesus did not say, I’m going show up, rip off my sandals and show you all my hands and feet, then you’ll know I rose from the dead. <– Insert Laugh here please. 🙂

No, that is not what Jesus said. He said, in JOHN 14 … wait for it, wait for it, people….

 23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Jesus said, he will appear WITHIN US when we KEEPS HIS WORDS. When we understand the TRUTH Christ appears WITHIN. This is how we will know Jesus. Not after the Flesh (carnal understanding, temporal belief) as Paul said, but after the SPIRIT (the unseen TRUTH OF GOD).  So, let’s look at that passage in Luke again, and then interpret what is REALLY being said.

Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

When we interpret these symbols to be what they be spiritually, this is what we begin to see and understand.

Behold my works, truth, nature, and wisdom, that is I, handle me and understand, because a SPIRIT does NOT have flesh and bone as you THINK “see” I have.

For years, we have been taught the exact opposite of what is true about this passage. Man always takes the things of God and turns it into what he SEES, HEARS, TOUCHES, TASTES, OR SMELLS. Man takes the ETERNAL things of God and believes them to be TEMPORAL.

But here, Jesus is saying, I AM NOT A TEMPORAL BEING as you THINK ME TO BE.

Now here is the REALLY COOL part. Jesus says, BEHOLD MY HANDS AND FEET… This is what he uses to show his disciples where, and who, Christ IS…

And who are the HANDS AND FEET of Christ again?

1 Corinthians 12:15: If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

In other words people, WE ARE THE HANDS AND FEET of CHRIST. We are the BODY OF CHRIST, and OUR BONES (SOULS) are NOT BROKEN after the CROSS (overcoming death, moving from ignorance to truth).

This is why they were terrified, they understood, who Christ becomes… THEM.

1 Corinthians 13:12: For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

And when you KNOW as you are KNOWN PEOPLE. You know Yourself!

Knock and the doors open people. There is more to YOU THAN YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD.

The Bosom Of The Father

BOSOM OF THE FATHER

Today’s essay is suitable for all “age groups in Christ.” It is not an earth (soul of man) shattering article, but it is one we should all understand the meaning of.

This essay comes from a peculiar verse found in John Chapter 1. It states that “No one has SEEN God, that the ONLY BEGGOTTEN SON declares him, from the BOSOM (breasts) of the FATHER.”  It is an important verse, because it is yet another wonderful allegory for us to discover the meaning of. When we do this, we too, may find ourselves in the BOSOM OF THE FATHER. This I hope at least J

 Let’s begin:

 John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Here we see that only the SON can SEE God. In earlier articles, I have written about the allegory of SIGHT. To SEE something, is to PERCIEVE IT, to UNDERSTAND IT. This is the most important thing, WISDOM. For Wisdom is a TREE OF LIFE.

Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

 In John 1:18, the SON is the ONLY ONE that SEES (Understands the Truth) GOD. When Jesus said these words, he was standing among the disciples. So what is being said here is of great importance. But where is this BOSOM OF THE FATHER?

 The SON declares God from this Bosom. Meaning, the SON explains the THINGS OF GOD, from the BOSOM. Things he would NOT be able to explain, if he did not have understanding. So could this Bosom, be a place of enlightenment? Let’s see.

 Now, when Jesus spoke these words he was not literally in God’s bosom when declaring God. So, the Bosom of God should also be looked upon as a parable, as so many things are in the Bible.

 Mark 4:11
And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

The things of the Kingdom of God are a MYSTERY and we must allow the Lord to teach us, we must allow The Holy Spirit to guide us and lead us. So, we must look at this word BOSOM with new eyes. We must ask God what, and where, this BOSOM is.

Let’s first look at it, in earthly terms. When a Baby is a suckling. It is being nourished and fed from the BOSOM OF ITS MOTHER.  The Baby is fed MILK. (this reveals much to us about this passage in John)

Isaiah 28:9
Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.  

Before God is to teach us the complete and full mystery, he must FIRST teach us with MILK. Then when they are weaned from the milk, he begins to teach THE FULLNESS OFGOD..

1 Corinthians 3  1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.  2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

Those that are given MILK are NEW to the things of God. They are BABES in CHRIST. They are not taught the DEEP WATERS of TRUTH, as they are not ready to receive it.

There were many things Jesus wanted to say to the disciples but he knew they were not ready to receive them. There are many things, the Sons of God, have to share, that must be held back until the Time appointed by the Father. The teaching of “the Way” is held back from these babes in CHRIST until they are weaned OFF THE MILK (fundamental principles of God) and ready to chew on some meat.


We see a picture of this after Moses had the revelation of God. He knew the Truth, but understood Israel wasn’t ready for the understanding he had been blessed with. This is why the PHYSICAL LAW was a type and shadow of the Truth. They were pictures of the SPIRITUAL in the SENSUAL (temporal) world. Moses had to VEIL his face, he had to HIDE THE DEEP WISDOM he had from Israel, he had to MASK it, to keep Israel from CHOKING on the MEAT GOD SENDS. 

2 Corinthians 3:13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

Like a baby, most Christians would choke on the deeper things of God. They are not ready to move unto perfection. This is a process, we must crawl before we walk, walk before we run, and run before we Fly!

1 Peter 2:2
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Here we see that when we are NEW TO THE FAITH, we should DESIRE the SINCIRE (truest and most pure) MILK of the WORD.

If you are in the BOSOM of the FATHER as Jesus (the Son of God), then the MILK (teaching) you are receiving is the PUREST AND MOST TRUE. The problem is many are not in the BOSOM OF THE FATHER… Most are in the BOSOM of a STRANGE WOMAN… Most are being fed lies, and the SOUR MILK produced ends up KILLING them.

If someone who is ignorant of the Truth is teaching you then what you learn is FOUL and will NOT NOURISH YOU SPIRITUALLY… As we see in many passages of scripture.

  1 Kings 3:20
And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while thine handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom.

(To be carnally minded is DEATH, so of course when someone ignorantly teaches lies and idolatries it cannot GIVE LIFE)

Proverbs 5:20
And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?

The Stranger pictured here, is someone who does not know the things of God. As children we are told to never talk to strangers, but even children mistake a “stranger” for a friend. And as the horror of a child being kidnapped is still true today, spiritually we see the same is true for the children of God, who are being kidnapped, molested, and killed, by STRANGERS to the Faith.

(A STRANGE WOMAN is not a true PARENT. God is the TRUE PARENT, here he asks why Israel would allow themselves to take the breast (teaching) of the carnal and ignorant… in their teaching there is no life, we are ravished, taken advantage of, and killed spiritually.)

But the BOSOM OF THE FATHER is a good place to be.

John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Being in the understanding and teaching of God we can TRULLY DECLARE GOD, as Jesus did.  21When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.  22Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.  23Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.  24Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.  25He then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

Being in the BOSOM, or in the TEACHING AND UNDERSTANDING of Jesus and God, you also find out WHO THE BETRAYER of TRUTH IS… But only in the BOSOM of God can you declare GOD, SO others like Jesus’s disciples can rest on your BOSOM (understanding and teaching) so that together, the betrayer is revealed and God is glorified.

The one who BETRAYS Christ, is JUDAS in this scene. He appeared to be one of Jesus’s disciples, even came from the same tribe, and eat from the same table, dipped the same sop. Judas appeared to be in the BOSOM OF CHRIST, but he was in the BOSOM of a STRANGER. (Devil/Lies)

Judas, is called the SON OF PERDITION. This is that SPIRIT of the ANTICHRIST which wants to rule and loves the things of Man, but hates the THINGS OF GOD. To find out, who the ANTICHRIST (carnal man) is, you MUST be in the BOSOM OF CHRIST. As Peter is pictured above. Once you receive the SINCIRE TRUTH of God, you understand that, God is in control and that “WHO YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE” is actually the ENEMY, son of perdition, betrayer. You find out, by resting on Christ’s Bosom (teaching/understanding/knowledge) that “YOU MUST DECREASE AND HE MUST INCREASE.

This is not a huge revelation for many, as it should be easy to see the allegory of “being in the Bosom of the Father”

So today, Go within, as the FATHER TO NURSE YOU TO MAKE YOU STRONG that you may be able to endure the MEAT that God, has yet to offer.

Galatians 4  1Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

As children, we feel like slaves, we feel like worthless human beings that have no power at all. As children (not mature in the WORD) we can barely stand on our own two feet. We feel more like a servant, than we do a leader in this world.

Let me leave you with this thought however, in Gal 4, we are told, that as Children (without full understanding of who we are) we are no different than slaves and servants, ALTHOUGH WE ARE LORD OF EVERYTHING.

So what does that mean? It means, we MUST be in the BOSOM OF GOD, to find out WHO WE REALLY ARE, and who WE ARE NOT.

WHO IS LUCIFER… REALLY?

                                    WHO IS LUCIFER?… REALLY WHO?

You may have heard it said, that SATAN was once God’s most beautiful angels and that he (Satan) decided to become God and take over, so God cast him down to the earth where he now rules. In addition, you may have heard that God and Satan are now in some cosmic chess match over the souls of humanity.

You may have also heard that Satan goes by another name. That name, many say, is LUCIFER, the morning star.

Well, this paper is not about what you may, or may not, have heard. It is about what, and who, Satan and Lucifer really are, according to scripture.

Much of the teaching that endorses the belief that Lucifer is Satan is drawn out of the following scripture.

Isaiah 14  12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!  13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:  14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.  15Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.  16They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, IS THIS THE MAN that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

I want to point out some things in this scripture that describe who, and what, Lucifer IS. As well as point out what Lucifer did.

1)    Lucifer fell from Heaven (Union with God)

2)    Lucifer is called, The Son of the Morning, Morning Star.

3)    Lucifer, tried to be like God

4)    Lucifer is a MAN.

 Let us now briefly move over to Satan, who, is also called the Devil.

 Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:

Satan does not appear to be a Man, anywhere in scripture. Satan seems to be FOUND INSIDE people, in the MIDST of people. It seems almost as if Satan is IN man’s thoughts, tempting them, as Satan tempted Peter, Judas, as well as a score of others in scripture, and US in the world.

Remember, when we are tempted by Satan, the temptation manifests as “thoughts” in our mind. There is no literal serpent who slithers up to us and whispers in our ears. And when we see people who are wicked, it is as if SATAN is inside them, possessing them if you will.  Why is this?

When we are tempted we are drawn away by our own LUSTS. You’ll find these LUSTS to be the spirit (thoughts) of Satan itself.

When Christ called Peter, Satan, he was talking to PETER, not another man. At that moment, PETER was Christ’s adversary. Peter was trying to talk him out of his great purpose, because PETER didn’t understand the things of God at that moment, he only knew the things of man. Which is the ONLY thing Satan concerns himself with.

 “Get thee behind me SATAN for thou ONLY LOVETH the THINGS OF MAN” 

Well, why wouldn’t the FATHER OF LIES, love Man, when MAN, according to God, is a LIAR to begin with.

 Christ also called Judas, The Son of Perdition, and we saw how Satan entered JUDAS, to get JUDAS to “do what he must”. Judas, most likely believed he was doing the will of God. He, also, didn’t understand the MYSTERY of CHRIST, that was working in JESUS. He saw it as error and betrayed him, because, like PETER, he only understood the things of MAN.

There are many times, Mankind, mistakes the LIES OF SATAN for the Truth of God. People have been literally killing in the name of God for centuries. It is no different today. Satan (LIES IN MAN) can come as an ANGEL(message/messenger) of LIGHT.

Jesus called JUDAS, the SON OF PERDITION as well as many others. When speaking to the JEWS, he said they were the children of Satan… Why? …

Because they did not UNDERSTAND THE TRUTH… Are we seeing a trend yet?

John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

They could not understand GOD’S WORD. Which is TRUTH. “Your WORD oh Lord is TRUTH”  

44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do…

There we see that word LUSTS again.

..He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

I want to point out here, that SATAN was a MURDERER from the BEGINNING. This will be important later in this essay. That word BEGINNING is the same one used in Genesis. “In the BEGINNING” … Which means, Satan NEVER HAD THE TRUTH. He was created a LIAR, and the FATHER OF ALL LIES. You see there is no TRUTH in Him, Never Was… This you will see, is yet another proof, that SATAN is not LUCIFER. As Lucifer, once had the TRUTH and FELL. Satan, was ALWAYS a LIAR.

So, we are dealing with the TRUTH OF GOD and the LIES of SATAN. Which Man, believes.

Now many picture Satan tempting Jesus in the wilderness, as appearing to him as some spooky snake, horned beasts, or angelic like creature.

However, scripture tells us Jesus was TEMPTED the SAME WAY, we are tempted. Many priests, pastors, preachers and evangelists fail to mention this point.

 Hebrews 4:15 – For we have not an high priest (Jesus) which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus was tempted LIKE WE ARE tempted. Now if we take this literally, this means, that Jesus was being tempted by the THOUGHTS OF MAN (carnal things) which is what SATAN does. Jesus was tempted by WORLDY THINGS… and ALL that is IN THE WORLD is the (Lust of the Flesh, The Lust of the Eyes, and the Pride of Life.)

Many fail to see the ALLEGORY of Christ’s temptation. They picture Satan whispering in Jesus’s ears. You’ve seen the classic cartoon of the devil on the shoulder. These images just perpetuate the LIE. Most are conditioned to believe this nonsence from childhood because of these images.

Many take Jesus’s temptation much the same way. Many see Jesus being wisked away to the top of some temple and being tempted to worship Satan.

But Jesus was tempted the EXACT same way we are. We also, are asked to turn STONES (religious law) into BREAD (life giving Truth) … We too, when we enter Religion are tempted to find LIFE through our WORKS instead of EVERY WORD that comes out of God. We too, are tempted to give in to everyone one of our Lusts, believing we can RULE THE WORLD if we only follow our nasty thoughts, like stepping on others, or cheating and lying to get one up on another, or having an affair.

And when we are tempted thus… (Hope you don’t mind me putting in those Old English phrases to sound all smart and such J) … and when we are tempted, as Jesus was tempted, is it NOT BY A MAN… We are not tempted by a MAN, as this “Lucifer ” character is said to be. We are TEMPTED when we are DRAWN AWAY BY OUR OWN LUSTS.

 The lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life.  = This is temptation. And SATAN is the FATHER of it, and Satan tempts us from WITHIN. Which means people, in our THOUGHTS.

 You don’t have to believe me… believe Jesus and scripture. When the Pharisees were dogging Jesus for not washing his hands, as I do with my kids before dinner, Jesus said something very profound and it would be best if we believe it.

 Mark 7:15: There is nothing from without (outside) a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

Jesus made it clear, NOTHING OUTSIDE OF US ENTERS US and DEFILES US… So much for believing in some spooky Devil and his Wicked Demons flying around outside of us, battling for the souls of humanity.

You see, Jesus said, the THINGS INSIDE MAN that COME OUT OF MAN, are the THINGS THAT DEFILE HIM. This SATAN is WITHIN.

And Satan TEMPTS US… How you ask? “When we are DRAWN AWAY by our OWN LUSTS.”

Satan tempts = Lust in Man

It’s easy to see that SATAN is not a MAN, as Lucifer is.

I think it is also important to note that Satan can ONLY TEMPT, when GOD ALLOWS or COMMANDS IT. So much for that cosmic battle going on.

Satan tempted Job at God’s command. Jesus was DRIVEN INTO THE WILDERNESS by the SPIRIT OF GOD to be TEMPTED OF SATAN (To be drawn away by MAN’S lusts).

Many forget to teach this part. That GOD drove JESUS to SATAN. Now there is a very important reason for this. Let’s consider first what an adversary is, in a simple allegory.

I go to the gym and lifts weights. The WEIGHTS resist MY STRENGTH. The stronger I get, the More Resistance I need to become even stronger. In other words, working out is the Devil! I joke of course… ha ha ha 🙂

Just like working out, we have spiritual weights that weigh upon us, guilt, shame, sadness, anger, lust, etc etc… that resist us spiritually. And we must keep PRESSING AGAINST to overcome it. And as we do this, we become STRONG SPIRITUALLY.

John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

An interesting thing to note is that GOD drove JESUS into the wilderness to be tempted, in much the same way as he DROVE ADAM out of the garden and into the wilderness. The point is, God is in charge. He did the driving, Satan did the tempting.

“God does all for HIS good pleasure.” = God is in control.

I want to hammer this point home… Jesus was tempted IN ALL POINTS as we are. And we are tempted again, by our CARNAL THOUGHTS, when we are “DRAWN AWAY BY OUR OWN LUSTS”

SATAN is NOT A MAN at all. But a SPIRIT. And JESUS casts out the SPIRIT of DEVILS. (The thoughts, LUSTS and lies of MAN)

Matthew 8:16
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick.

Notice how JESUS cast out the DEVILS… with HIS WORD, which is TRUTH. Jesus is the WORD OF GOD, which is TRUTH. Satan is the FATHER OF ALL LIES. It makes sense that only the TRUTH can destroy a LIE… (Wouldn’t you say?).

Let me give you an example: To show you in “earthly” terms, how the TRUTH destroys and casts out the LIE.

For many years people believed the world was flat and the center of the universe. This was THEIR IGNORANT BELIEF, it was NOT true. But they didn’t know any better. They LOVED the darkness (their ignorance). And, if anyone spoke to the contrary of what they ignorantly believed, those people would be called heretics and put to death. Unfortunately, this is still at work today in the world of Religion. This is a great lesson for us, as today, many are taught things about God that just aren’t true, and when the TRUTH is presented to those deceived (As the Pharisees of Jesus’ day) they will try to discredit, tear down, and even kill, those that speak the Truth.

Nevertheless, the WORD never returns void. The TRUTH will accomplish what it is sent into the world to do.

 This is why, today we know that the Earth is more like a sphere and the SUN is the center of the universe. You see the lie persisted only as long as the TRUTH was not presented. But once the TRUTH was BELIEVED, the LIE (world being flat) is destroyed and never believed again. The LIE is revealed to God’s creation, mankind, cast out, and destroyed.

2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

The darkness (their ignorance/lie) was overcome by the LIGHT (Truth). Once the TRUTH was spoken about the world being more like a sphere, the LIE that was believed (a flat world) was CAST OUT!

This is a great example of how Christ CASTS OUT DEVILS. And what are DEVILS, but False Beliefs and Lies TO BEGIN WITH. (For more information, check out my article on “Taking up Serpents” on this blog).  

But let’s get back to this SATAN CAT. For the hundredth time, clearly, we see SATAN is not a MAN, cannot be a MAN. Satan can ONLY be A SPIRIT (thoughts) inside a MAN.

One could say, SATAN is simply the LUSTS OF MAN. “We are TEMPTED when we are DRAWN away by our OWN LUSTS”

SATAN = SPIRIT = LUSTS = OUR CARNAL THOUGHTS

Jesus said, “My WORDS are SPIRIT and truth.”

God is SPIRIT… and no one has seen God at anytime.

You see A SPIRIT is a THOUGHT. The question is which THOUGHT are we believing and which THOUGHTS do CHRIST (The Truth) cast away.

Many will fight with their dying breath that LUCIFER is SATAN, and deny that LUCIFER is ACTUALLY (ADAM)

“WHAT? WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?” some people will say after reading this last line… But SETTLE down “church”, I’ll explain.

You see in the Garden, ADAM fell. The reason is because ADAM (Lucifer) tried to become God himself.

Look, I’ll come right out and tell you, Lucifer is NOT SATAN. This is a false teaching, a HUGE error. Lucifer is another name for ADAM. The rest of this paper will back up this statement.

SIDE BY SIDE – FACTS:

SATAN is not a MAN.    —-    Lucifer is a MAN.

Satan is a SPIRIT             —-      Lucifer’s flesh is eaten by worms. (FLESH not SPIRIT)

Satan never had TRUTH (Murderer/LIAR from the BEGINNING) — Lucifer once had the TRUTH

This last point is our “DEAD” giveaway.

LUCIFER is a MAN that FELL in the GARDEN, because HE WANTED TO BE GOD.

Now doesn’t that sound like another MAN, we know, that God created to be his express image on earth? ADAM, perhaps?

Did not ADAM the MAN, exalt himself by eating the fruit of the tree that SATAN (who was a liar from the beginning) tempted Eve with.

Did not ADAM clearly disobey God and FALL out of HEAVEN (PARADISE), as we are told Lucifer did?

I know what some will say… The GARDEN isn’t HEAVEN. But they will ALSO  say, the GARDEN is PARADISE… Then they will go onto say when Jesus spoke to the thief on the Cross “today you will be with me in PARADISE” Jesus was speaking of Heaven. So which is it people. You can’t agree with something and then disagree in the same breath.

 James 3:12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

Let’s take a look at what the SERPENT said to EVE. And remember the SERPENT lied from the BEGINNING. He was more subtle (devious) than any other creature.

Satan said to EVE, “If you eat of this tree YOU SHALL BE LIKE GOD” –

This is the LIE SATAN plants in EVE’S head. So EVE ate and then gave to ADAM. This is actually the same lie SATAN plants in our head. Trying to convince us, that we are in control, that we are separate from God, kings of our own castle, which is actually (God’s temple/our soul/body)

God warned ADAM that the instant you eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, YOU SHALL DIE. (Death/Carnal Thoughts/Lies/Sin)

ADAM, was God’s most beautiful creation. Was he NOT? Doesn’t that sound like what people teach about LUCIFER, they say, “God’s most beautiful.” But does it ever get more beautiful than being made in the IMAGE OF GOD?

Well, if Lucifer be ADAM, than that is true. “To which of the angels did God say, you are my beloved Son”

Is there a more beautiful and glorified creation of God than MANKIND, which is the express image of God? I think not.

Before the FALL (Remember Lucifer fell in the garden).

Before the fall, Adam was one with God. Adam knew the TRUTH. Adam was God’s most beautiful creation, UNTIL he decided that he could be LIKE GOD, and he ate, because he said in his heart… “I shall be like the most high, knowing good from evil”

This is the description given in Isaiah of LUCIFER… But isn’t this exactly what ADAM did. Didn’t he EAT, to fruit of the KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL.

Notice in the Garden, the SERPENT (clearly Satan) did not fall. He tempted Eve (drew Eve away with her own lusts) and murdered ADAM in the process… IN THE BEGINNING of creation, mind you. (Satan, a murderer from the beginning)

The MORNING STAR has NEVER BEEN SATAN. The MAN who was to be the SHINING IMAGE OF GOD, exalted HIMSELF and said, I will eat of the Tree that will Make Me God — And so ADAM DIED.

And now the WORLD SUFFERS because of this CARNALITY, and when we look upon this ADAMIC nature do we not say, “This is the MAN that caused the nations such trouble?”

In Isaiah, the MAN that caused all of us such trouble is NOT Satan, it is ADAM.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

ADAM(Lucifer) is the MAN that caused the NATIONS such trouble. NOT SATAN. Satan, by now, it should be clear, is NOT A MAN.

ADAM = LUCIFER, MAN, FALLEN

SATAN = WASTER, DESTROYER, FATHER OF LIES, TEMPTER, SPIRIT

Let me share the scriptural comparison side by side to illustrate further WHO REALLY fell in the Garden.

LUCIFER (ADAM)
How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit.”

LUCIFER (ADAM) a MAN in the Garden who wanted to be like God, and ended up in DEATH.

4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as god, knowing good and evil.

There is the rub. Right there in Genesis. Then look at the next verse to back it up.

6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Right there: The Lust of the eyes, Lust of the Flesh, Pride of Life (The Lusts that draw us away)

23Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24So he drove out the man (ADAM/LUCIFER); and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

LUCIFER – DRIVEN OUT OF HEAVEN, brought down to the ground and death.

ADAM – driven OUT OF HEAVEN, brought down to till the ground in death.

Lucifer = Adam

“Jesus said, Satan was a murderer from the beginning”

ADAM was killed by SATAN’S TRICKERY. = THE first MURDER, God did say, the moment you eat of this tree… you shall die.

Now let’s look at what Satan really wants:

It has been taught that Satan hates man, because God made them and SATAN was jealous. That Satan is out to get us. The truth is however, Satan does NOT HATE MAN, quite the opposite, Satan LOVES MAN, HE ONLY LOVES THE THINGS OF MAN.

This is why, Man is a LIAR. You see, Satan is not some spooky monster and demonic creature in some cosmic battle for the souls of man.

a)     Look at the Old Testament, Satan has a great purpose and does only what God wants. He can only test Job when God allows it. God actually points out Job for Satan to tempt.

b)    Jesus tells Satan WHEN to do what HE MUST DO.

c)     God sent MESSENGERS OF SATAN to put the THORN in PAUL’S FLESH. God is IN CONTROL.

Anyone who thinks God is not large and in charge does not know the TRUTH.

Now here is what Satan actually cares about, Satan cares ONLY about “The things of man.”

Jesus said, “get thee behind me Satan, thou carest only the THINGS OF MAN.”

According to the book of Numbers, “God is NOT A MAN that HE SHOULD LIE.” You see MAN LIES. God does not.  Let GOD BE TRUE and EVERY MAN a liar.

And WHO is the FATHER OF ALL LIES pulling the strings behind the scenes? That’s right SATAN. The SPIRIT of SATAN. He is the FATHER OF ALL LIES, in SATAN there is no truth and never has there been.

So why did God create this SATAN?

Well, God created the waster to destroy, the serpent goes about on his belly (carnality) eating dust (lies/imagination = dead flesh).

God put enmity between SATAN and EVE’S SEED (Christ) – There is a war between them. And does not scripture also say, “the FLESH is at enmity with THE SPIRIT”

Seeing a trend yet?

Satan = Lies, Lust, Flesh, Cares only about the things of MAN

Are you catching on yet? Are you starting to see, what, and who, SATAN REALLY IS?

When you listen to the SERPENT (Satan) – YOU DIE. = To be Carnally Minded is DEATH.

SATAN in other words, is another name for MAN’S CARNAL MIND. Not some spooky horned beast with a whip ruling the pits of hell… When you listen to the CARNAL MIND, you DIE.

Your DEATH is the suffering you experience when you listen and believe the lies this SATAN(Your OWN lusts) tempt you with. And, it is ONLY THE TRUTH that SETS YOU FREE. (Christ)

So why would God, create such a SPIRIT. The answer is to TEST YOU and TRY YOU.

Isaiah 48:10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

God chose the furnace of affliction. But our present sufferings will be compared as nothing, when the truth of who we are in Christ is revealed.

You see, even SATAN has a purpose. Don’t believe me? Then ask yourself why the apostles would willingly turn over unbelievers to SATAN so their spirit would be saved.

1 Corinthians 5:5: … hand this man over to Satan, so that the sinful nature may be destroyed and his spirit saved on the day of the Lord.

Satan ACTUALLY helps in the destruction of the sinful nature in man. By trying and testing Man, so he knows the difference between Satan’s lies and Christ’s truth. 

SATAN has a great purpose, if you don’t listen to the SHEPARD, the SHEEPDOG will bark and bite and scare you until you do!

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

This is how we know truth from lies. The Truth sets us free and blesses us with peace, joy, and righteousness. The LIES cause pain, suffering, hell (ignorance and confusion). Ultimately we learn the difference. And we free ourselves  from the bondage of Lucifer’s/ADAM’S fall and enter into the Liberty of Christ.

Now here is the good news in all of this!

God created ALL THINGS and called them GOOD. All things! We may not understand why things are the way they are. But we do know, God works everything together for those that LOVE THE LORD. (TRUTH) We know God makes EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL in ITS TIME. And that TIME may be different for everyone. But that judgment (seperation from the LIES) starts at the HOUSE OF GOD (our soul).

The most important thing to remember people is God does not have an adversary, as some might say. WE DO! And that adversary, is the CARNAL LIES INSIDE MAN (Satan).

Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

Jesus said, “get thee behind me SATAN, THOU only carest about the things of MAN”

Man is a LIAR, Christ is the TRUTH.

We need to resist the DEVIL (the negative thoughts/LUSTS/Lies being fed to us by that snake (Carnal MIND) in the garden and he will flee.

In closing, I hope you can see, Lucifer is simply another name for ADAM (The fallen Carnal Man) and SATAN is the CARNAL MIND that FED his Soul (Eve) and brought about “their” demise.

THE HIDDEN MEANING AND THE NAME

When I first became enamored with scripture, one of the things that strengthened my faith was what I discovered about the meaning of names. Almost every name in scripture when translated from the Hebrew, or Greek, opens up great meaning for the reader.

In this paper, I’m going to try and keep it short and simply share the unbelievable “coincidences” found hidden just out of sight (our understanding)… And of course, there is no such thing as coincidence! It just appears that way. Isn’t the mystery of life grand?

Now to save time, I’m just going to give the translation from the Greek and Hebrew.

Let’s start with my late grandmother’s favorite expression, “Jesus, Mary and Joseph!”

Each name means something and when you see all three together, it is almost too good to be true.

JOSEPH – Jehovah has Added

MARY- Their Rebellion

 JESUS – Jehovah is Salvation

 Let’s put them together now: “Joseph Mary and Jesus” =  “God has added to their rebellion Salvation.”

But let us take that a huge step forward. If Jesus means, “Jehovah is Salvation”… what does Jehovah mean. Instead of just accepting this as another name for God, let us reveal the literal meaning of Jehovah.

Definition
Jehovah = “the existing One, One who Exist” = I AM = I exist… and yet “I am that I am” is better translated as “I will become whatever I will become”

Now, that is a whole lot of information packed in three simple names. Joseph, Mary and Jesus… “God has added to man’s rebellion salvation” – and the ONE WHO REALLY EXIST being the one doing the saving within.

Right there in those three names, the Gospel summed up. Inside of each of us, holds the very key to eternity. CHRIST which is TRUTH.

Many are shocked when they hear the name MARY actually means “Man’s rebellion, Their Rebellion” – but isn’t that the truth, haven’t we all rebelled against the TRUTH. And isn’t Christ BIRTHED out of our ignorance if you will?

In the beginning God created the HEAVENS (His Truth/Ways/Thoughts) and the EARTH (Man’s ways/thoughts) and the EARTH became (yes Became NOT WAS, look it up) … and the EARTH (Man’s soul) became VOID (ignorant/rebellious) …

So God said, let there be LIGHT (TRUTH/CHRIST) and it was good. This is yet another picture of the plan for mankind. Out of our ignorance (MARY) comes SALVATION (JESUS).

Ever wonder where there are so many Mary, Martha, Miriam’s, in scripture. It is because these names are symbolic of the REBELLIOUS/ignorance of man.

What is more fascinating is that OUT OF THE REBELLION in Man the MESSIAH is birthed… “Christ in you”, “Until Christ be formed in you”… In fact, this story is the STORY of what happens in all of us. IN US, the LOST TRIBE OF ISRAEL.

Even more wonderful is the understanding that Jesus was a Nazarite, which is understood to mean (One separated from the world, or consecrated)

“Joseph, Mary, Jesus of Nazareth”  =  “God has added to Man’s rebellion Salvation and separated them from the world.”

Side note: Jesus is the WORD, (Your word oh Lord is TRUTH) –

Jesus is put to death at Golgatha (Place of the skull) – Symbolic of how the TRUTH is killed in our MINDS.

Here is something that might blow you away. Where does God and Christ sit again? Isn’t it in the TEMPLE OF GOD? – And are we not the TEMPLE of God where the spirit of the most High dwells? J Now check this out “church” … Points to your temples. That’s right take your fingers from both left and right hands and touch your temples…

WHAT’S BETWEEN YOUR TEMPLES? = Your Brain. The same place the TRUTH is killed (Golgatha/place of the skull) it is also where the TRUTH eventually RULES.

Moving on…

Let’s now look at the great deliverance of Egypt: Pharaoh, Egypt, Israel, Moses – The meaning of these names are incredible:

 Hebrew translations:

 Israel : “Prince of God” “God prevails”

Pharaoh: “His Nakedness” in Greek

Moses: “Draw Out, Drawn”

Egypt: “Entrenchment = Infringe, Trespass”

So we see, Israel (Prince of God) is a Slave to (their Nakedness) in Egypt (Their trespasses) So God sent Moses (Drew them out)

Let’s put them together. Israel, Moses, Pharaoh, Egypt = The Prince of God is drawn out of their trespasses and no longer a slave to their nakedness (shame) –

You see, these are but a few examples of how the stories in scripture, actually speak of you and I. For we are all ONE in Christ… We need to stop looking at scripture as dead archaic history books, for what happened does not help us, it is what happens in us that we need to know. And these wonderful biblical stories do all that and more… When you place YOURSELF as the title character.

Whether you be JONAH, SAMSON, NEHAMIAH, RUTH, DEBRA, HEZIKIAH or more. My favorite of course is JACOB… Who I share many traits with. Like JACOB I too put on the FLESH (dead works/ignorance) to try and trick my Father into giving me what he already promised. I too, like Jacob, wrestle with God and Man, and I too, have OVERCOME and been given the name ISRAEL.

“Behold my beloved SON in whom I am well pleased.”

Interesting side note for those who know me. I used to write for Professional Wrestling. Seriously. Please do not hold that against me. As I now wish I still had tight connections, as my boys would think me the coolest Dad going… well they already do. But it would be awesome to take them backstage… I DIGRESSSSSSSS.

Let’s move onto LOT and SODOM and GOMMORAH

What had to be removed so the twin wicked cities would be overthrown? Lot!

SODOM – means BURNING

GOMORRAH – means SUBMERSION

Isn’t that interesting, to cleanse our SIN, God uses WATER (word) and FIRE (SPIRIT) – BURNING AND SUBMERSION.

But in order for this to happen. LOT must be removed…. And LOT in Hebrew means “VEIL”

The VEIL that is to say the FLESH. You see what keeps us from the HOLIEST of HOLIES, what keeps up from the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, what keeps us from being free, is the VEIL (The FLESH) the CARNAL MIND.

Here we see LOT (VEIL) must be removed for the TWIN wicked CITIES to be overthrown.

The Key to unlocking the mystery of SODOM and GOMORROH is found in the description of these CITIES as TWINS. (Duality)

A Double minded MAN is unstable in all his ways. If you can SEE IT… There is ONLY ONE GOD and beside him there is none else. In Christ there is only UNITY. However when the FLESH is covering the TRUTH we see TWO, TWINS.

Did you know that the most words that describe evil, actually come from the word TWO.  Duality, Dubious, Doubt, Devious, and many others come from the root word DUO (two).

THE WICKED TWIN cities needed to be torn down. THE TWINS.

“I came to split in twain and make ONE NEW MAN”

“That day you will know I am in the Father, the Father in Me, and I in you” – That day, when LOT is taken away, the WICKEDNESS of our double minded thinking is destroyed and replaced by UNITY.

What a beautiful picture of how God takes away our Carnal Thoughts (veil) to “Overthrow” which by the way in HEBREW means to “Turn back, Return”

God takes away the Veil so we can return to Him. Amazing.

Let’s look at Elijah for a Moment. The Tishbite

And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead,

ELIJAH – “yah is my God, Godlike”

TISHBITE – “Captivity, captive”

INHABITANTS – “Sojourner”

GILEAD –  “Rocky region”

So Elijah was a Godlike Captive sojourning in a Rocky Region. Once again, our story people. OUR STORY.

Let’s take a look at those twelve tribes of Israel.

Reuben – “Behold a son”

Simeon – “Heard”

Levi – “Joined to”

Judah – “praise”

Dan – “a Judge”

Naphtali – “wrestling”

Gad – “a troop”

Issachar – “to make straight, to walk straight”

Zebulon – “to exhalt”

Joseph – “Whom Jehovah has added”

Benjamin – “Son of the Right Hand”

Now let’s put them all together.

“Behold a son heard and joined to praise a judge wrestling a troop to walk straight so to exhalt whom Jehovah has added to the Son of the right hand.” 

It’s the story of US ALL in a nutshell.

We all hear and join ourselves to praise the God within wrestling us to walk straight as we could be exhalted as God has added US to the SON.

“That day you shall know as you are KNOWN” – To know as you are known, is to NOW YOURSELF… This is the key to salvation. Knowing the TRUTH of CHRIST WITHIN.

Let’s look at DAVID, SAUL and SOLOMON:

 The 1st man here – lusted for power, didn’t wait on God…

The 2nd man here – was a man after God’s own heart, he didn’t take the Throne he waited for God to give it to him.

The 3rd man here – Reigned in peace and had the greatest wisdom

 SAUL means DESIRE/LUST

DAVID means BELOVED OF GOD

SOLOMON means PEACE.

Solomon is known as the King who shed no blood, he built the Temple without killing. Isn’t it interesting that SOLOMON’s name in Hebrew means “PEACE”

Well, I didn’t have much time to put this together, I will continue to add to this here and there. But I hope that you see, the meaning of names is just one amazing layer that God will peel back for you so you can understand the truth of who you are in Christ.

And for all you JONATHAN’S out there. Who love their FATHER (religious system) and who LOVE DAVID (Christ/TRUTH) – Don’t stay with your Father and DIE. Come to the MAN AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART and RULE FOREVERMORE!

       THE PLAGUES OF EGYPT

Many have heard of the plagues God sent to Egypt to set Israel free. Many look at this as a past event and not as something that may indeed happen to us all. They also look at these events as a great punishment because Pharaoh and the Egyptians had done great wrong. However, we know that God hardened Pharaoh’s heart, he made Pharaoh a great house so this great deliverance could be known. This paper may indeed challenge the beliefs that this is SOLELY a past event and may open your eyes to the possibility that these plagues may have not only set Israel free, but us as well.

First, I want to point out, that each of these plagues is symbolic of something each of us encountered, or have yet to encounter in our lives. You see, God opens his mouth in dark sayings, in parables. Like the boy who cried wolf, as children we learned we also should not “cry wolf”, it did not matter if there was a literal boy or wolf, what mattered was the revelation that we should not lie or exaggerate. Jesus used parables to teach those who weren’t ready to receive the truth. He also stated, the Kingdom of Heaven is a mystery, and a mystery is a truth that needs to be uncovered. The Ten Plagues are no different. Each are symbolic, each drive us closer to freedom, and each are sent by God to deliver us from our Carnal Mind.

So, for this essay’s sake, let’s not concern ourselves with what literally happened, let’s allow the Holy Spirit to show up what these plagues and all the players involved represent. The stage is set, now let Christ the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our faith give us the rockin’ cliff notes.

Let’s start, by looking at the major players involved. There is God, Israel, Pharaoh, Plagues and Egypt. Each mean something, and scripture holds the key.

Consider what is taking place. God is setting Israel (God’s child) free from the Rule of Pharaoh. – Symbolically, God is setting the “Christ In Us” free from the Rule of the Flesh, which is the Carnal Mind.

In Hebrew, Pharaoh means: “Great House”, but in Greek, something remarkable become clear. In Greek Pharaoh means: “His Nakedness” … Isn’t that something? Israel is a slave to “His Nakedness”. Isn’t this also what sent Adam running, wasn’t it “His Nakedness” that he became so ashamed of, he ran and hid from God?

Isaiah 30:3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

Here Isaiah tells us, Pharaoh is OUR SHAME, and EGYPT is our CONFUSION.

Isn’t that something? Aren’t we all slaves to our Shame, Our Nakedness, at points in our lives? Doesn’t our insecurity make us do horrible things? Isn’t our lack of self worth, our lack of understanding in who we are keep up from Righteousness, Peace and Joy? And before being set free from our ignorance, aren’t we all SLAVES in the land of CONFUSION? (Which is EGYPT according to Isaiah)

Israel’s main job as Slave in Egypt was to BUILD UP EGYPT and STRENGTHEN their walls. And the mucky earth was the main material used.

And like Israel, aren’t we also slaving away in the muck and mire of our lives to make up for our guilt, shame, and lack of self worth? Don’t we also beat ourselves up? Don’t we say how unworthy we are, aren’t we reminded every time we step foot into a man made church that we are a SINNER destined for hell? Aren’t we ashamed that we don’t do enough for God, that we don’t tithe enough, volunteer enough, study enough, WORK ENOUGH? And so long as we are SLAVES to our SHAME we will continue to strengthen the walls of “our” CONFUSION (Egypt).  That is of course, until God sets us free.

Which brings us to the plagues God sent Egypt, but what is really going on here?

EX 9:14: I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.

God sends these plagues to our HEART. And what is our heart? Well remember, wherever your treasure is, there your heart shall be. Our Thoughts, Our minds… This is where the plagues are sent. To deliver us from our Carnal ways and thoughts… Why, you ask? “So, that we will know there is none like God in the Earth.”  It is so we will know God and his truth. This is a HEART WORK, an inside work, so God will be known to us intimately.

 The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear.

Children never listen when they are told something once. They need some prodding. They need to be reminded and then they need to experience the consequences for not listening or believing what their parent says. We are called by God but we all don’t listen at first. So God intervenes. He knows we love the Fleshpots of Egypt. He knows we are addicted to the rule of our Carnal Mind. We have lived our lives believing we are in control, that doesn’t change overnight. And since we are so stubborn… he uses MOSES which in Hebrew means “Drawing Out” – He draws us out of our ignorance and this is how he does it.

#1: WATER TO BLOOD


17Thus saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. 17 18 The fish in the Nile will die, and the river will stink; the Egyptians will not be able to drink its water.’ “ 

WATERS? Multiple waters? …  How many times have you considered ONE river to have MANY WATERS? … Well the NILE is symbolic of where we draw our life from. The Nile is our sustenance in the world. The Nile was the sole source of Egpyt’s life. It is our life in the world before knowing the God is Israel. – But let’s get a witness in scripture to back this up.

In Revelation 17, we learn… The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

This “Nile” which is the source of Egypt’s life, is symbolic of the WORLD where the Whore of Babylon sits. This is our life before realizing how corrupt it is, without God.

 Hosea 4 1Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.  2By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.

In Egypt (CONFUSION) there is no knowledge of God. There is no truth, no mercy, no understanding, no freedom. This is why God must STRIKE the WATERS of our life. Our lives become foul to us, we then need to find a new source of LIFE. We are like the DEAD FISH floating to the top of the bloody Nile. The world is an offence to us now. We no longer want to DRINK (partake) of its WATERS, or EAT (Assimilate) anything that comes out of it. We want a way out of the world. We want to get back to God.

So what do we do? We get RELIGION. This is where we find God right?… Wrong? But it is an important step in setting us free. You see when Man first wants to know God, the Carnal mind is still very much ruling. PHAROAH isn’t going to let you go that easy. So we scurry off to the nearest church and it is great for awhile… until PLAGUE NUMBER 2 hits. 

#2 FROGS:

 3And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneading troughs:
4And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.

All of a sudden you are told what to do, how to do it, what you can eat, what you can’t eat, what you can do in your bedroom, in your life, in your home, in your free time, with your money, etc, etc… You become infested with FROGS. They are everywhere.

…come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneading troughs:

CROAKING AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN… these FROGS get into your house, your bed, your kitchens, everywhere… So what are these FROGS, you find Croaking, when you finally leave the world for God and head toward Religion?

Revelation 16:13
And I saw three unclean spirits like FROGS come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Frogs are UNCLEAN SPIRITS (THOUGHTS)

14For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

The Frogs are all the religious mumbo jumbo we begin to believe when we first seek God. We listen to their CROAKING and we allow these doctrines of men affect every area of our lives. From our homes, relationship, and what we eat, to what we wear, how we act, and even sex. The FROGS (False Teachers/beliefs) torment us, night and day.

7And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

Of course the “Magicians” don’t have a problem producing the FROGS (false teaching) as well. For the Magicians are a perfect allegory for many False Teachers, Pastors, Priests, Evangelists, etc. of our time.

So, we end up immersed in Religious False Teaching. They consume every aspect of our life. Soon, we begin to question, “Just what am I doing here?” – We want FREEDOM from it. But things only get worse. These Croaking Frogs, show us just how corrupt we are. And PLAGUE NUMBER THREE hits.

#3 – LICE

16And the LORD said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

So the Aaron smites the DUST. The DUST? Isn’t that what our 1st Man Adam is formed in? And what is dust again? … Dead Flesh – Even scripture compares Dust to the lies, idolatries, and false teachings of man… So, now even our carnal nature torments us. The very LIES, we believed these false Teachers (Frogs) taught us, becomes a plague unto us as well. We, like Paul say, “The Good I want to do I CAN’T DO, that which I DON’T WANT TO DO, I DO… Who will save me from this LICE?” … Okay, I added the Lice part in, but you get my meaning.

The DUST, symbolic of the LIES the carnal religious man taught us becomes a parasite, it attaches itself to our thinking and slowly SUCKS THE LIFE out of us.

The word LICE from Strongs: Kanan means: (To fasten, as in a Gnat attaching its sting) We know the STING OF SIN attaches itself to us. It begins to such the LIFE out of us, we are Dead in our trespasses, we acknowledge we need a Savior, we want this plague to end…

But the problem is, we are still looking to PHAROAH (our nakedness/shame) to set us free. We think PHAROAH holds to the key to our freedom. We believe the religious mumbo jumbo we are force fed. We try as hard as we can to do everything the FROGS tell us, but nothing we do takes the STING of this last plague (Lice) away.

We want peace and we aren’t finding it. So some may even go from one church to another, one religion to another, trying to find the perfect Pastor but then God sends his next plague upon us…

#4: Swarming Flies

21Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.

So God sends a swarm of flies to deliver ISRAEL (CHRIST IN US) from EGYPT (CONFUSION) AND PHAROAH (SHAME/NAKEDNESS)… The question is what are these FLIES?

Ecclesiastes 10:1
Dead FLIES cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking odor: so does a little folly in him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour.

Let me break that down for you, As FLIES make foul physical medicine. FOLLY makes foul the words of men who have the “reputation” of wisdom and honour… I don’t know if you caught that.

At this point in our walk. We have bought, hook, line, and sinker, everything our religious leaders have told us. Even though, believing their words caused us great shame, guilt, failure, and suffering… You see, these Croaking Religious Leaders have the reputation of wisdom and honor. But we see their folly, every time they fall. We put them on a platform and believed all that they have said. But now, we find no peace in there words. For many, at this point, they leave their search for God all together.

Today more and more leave the man made Church because their Pastors have fallen, lied, cheated, stolen, prostituted, drugs, molestation, etc. etc. This FLY FOLLY is enough to make anyone want to run away from those RULING (Teaching) in Egypt (CONFUSION). You get tired of hearing them say, Do this and Do that, and then you find they don’t do it themselves. Or you try to meet with them, but they have no time for you. At this point, you say, “I’ve had enough… I WANT OUT!”

And when you finally want out, it is the best time for God to send his NEXT PLAGUE:

#5: Disease of Beasts

Now I want to remind you, that all of is symbolic of what is ACTUALLY taking place within us. You inside of us, there is Christ, Pharaoh, Egyptians, Cattle, etc etc… It all takes place within our mind.

You see these are all symbols. I’ve showed you the symbolic meaning of Egypt, Pharaoh, Frogs, Flies, Lice, etc… so Beasts is no different. So this plagues kills off EVERY BEAST of EGYPT… Mind you, NOT the BEASTS of ISRAEL. (that is very important to note)

So when God decided to kill off every Beast of the Egyptian and save every Beast of the Israelite, we really are looking at a symbol of how God begins to JUDGE OUR THOUGHTS.

The cattle are symbolic of our thoughts. Every BEAST (thought of man) birthed in EGYPT (Confusion and Ignorance) is DESTROYED… Every BEAST (Thought of Man) that is birthed in ISRAEL (Christ) is SAVED.

Once we have had it with the plagues of the Frogs, Lice, and notice the Fly Folly of our so called Religious leaders, it is then, God begins to weed out the wrong thoughts and strengthen the right ones.

6And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.

The Thoughts of GODS SON are alive. The Thoughts of CONFUSION and LIES begin to die.

#6 BOILS

9And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.  10And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast. 11And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil was upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.

In the book of Lamentations we find out how important Boils are in finding out if a man is Leprous or not, unclean or not. A man with Boils you AVOID. This is symbolic of how we begin to know the difference between HEALTHY TRUTH and SICKLY LIES.

God made it so Israel could differentiate CHRIST IN THEM from the EGYPTIAN (carnal/antichrist) IN THEM. The Law DOESN’T allow ISRAEL to go near anyone with Boils.

And so, this plagues sheds light on which thoughts are clean (Christ) and which are unclean (Egyptians).There was a time we were ruled by the EGYPTIAN (confusing, lies, and unclean thoughts and teaching) but now we see the error, as we once saw the FOLLY in those spreading these lies.

And so there become great division between the FLESH and the SPIRIT, the Egyptian and the Israelites. Which has prepared perfectly for what God sends next.

# 7 HAIL

8Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.

Good ole, Isaiah helps to make it clear.
  
Isaiah 28: 1Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! 2Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

You see God sends a TEMPEST of HAIL and FIRE to destroy everything that Egypt (confusion) has created. And God does this with his VOICE, His WORD OF TRUTH. And, we begin to see things differently, we can no longer hold on to the ignorant teachings of yesterday, or listen to the foolish croaking of those pastors, and we have parted company with those with boils, those who are unclean.

Isaiah 30:30
And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

His VOICE is what destroys the works of Israel. His truth. At this point we’re still in EGYPT. We’re uncomfortable in our own beliefs, we see the hypocrisy of the man made religion, we find it hard to listen to their lies, we even begin to have new thoughts as God rids us of the wrong thoughts. But, God still needs to drive us headlong out of the RELIGIOUS and CARNAL SYSTEM of Egypt and Pharoah (Confusion and Shame) so he sends the LOCUSTS!

#8: LOCUSTS

Locusts devour the harvest. They devour every-last bit of the false beliefs we held in our hearts. Literal Locusts in the form or Men, may even drive us out of the man made religion, because we have been questioning what they teach now, our cattle is blessed while theirs has died. And the DARKNESS hates the LIGHT.

Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast:5And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field:

God DEVOURS all of our ignorant OLD WAYS AND THINKING. And this is when the most important plague happens.

Right after God destroys our beliefs in all these false doctrines and ideas, this plague humbles us the most, and sets us up for perhaps the greatest blessing of all.

#9: DARKNESS

21And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.

WE REALIZE we DONT KNOW ANYTHING about GOD. We have laid down our pride, our ignorant beliefs, we stop saying I SEE, I UNDERSTAND, and we pray, GOD GIVES US LIGHT.

This is what happened to Paul, he too, took part in these plagues. Knocked off his high religious horse and made BLIND…

DARKNESS… For the first time since we began seeking God, we realize His Ways are above ours and we don’t know the first thing about TRUTH.

And only after we learn that can the last and final great plague happen. So we are SET FREE.

#10: DEATH OF FIRSTBORN

The 1st born of everything in EGYPT DIES. Please catch the marvelous symbolism. The 1st BORN in EGYPT (Confusion) killed. Every Nature birthed out of CONFUSION, and SHAME is killed.

You see, the 1st shall be last in the Kingdom, and the last shall be first. Did not Jesus say, you must be born again?

After these plagues, we are finally ready to lay down our carnal lives and be born again.

 The 1st Man (Adam) lays dead in Egypt, while the 2nd Man (CHRIST) is driven into the wilderness to be tested and tried.

This is OUR STORY PEOPLE. This is our journey, from bondage to the wilderness. And coming soon, the journey from the wilderness to the Promise Land.

reedsWho is John The Baptist?

2Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, 3And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

It’s interesting that John the Baptist of all people would ask if Jesus is the coming one (Messiah) or not. Why would he doubt that all of a sudden? Wasn’t it John who saw the Heaven’s open for Him? Wasn’t it John that believed HE that should be baptized by Jesus not the other way around? Wasn’t it John who declared, “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world”. So why all of a sudden did John doubt?

Well, John was in PRISON, he was suffering, going through hardship, and just like John, when trials arise and we find ourselves in the bondage of fear, doubt, or whatever else holds us captive (prison), many also may find themselves questioning their faith. Why, you ask?

Because many “Christians/Muslims/Buddhists/Jews/etc” have been sold a lie. But let’s focus soley on CHRISTIANITY as a whole. There is so much division in this one world religion, that it should be obvious, that not everyone has been taught the TRUTH. Perhaps, the TRUTH has been taught with an excess of confusion, lies, and tradition. Interesting enough, the word “Babylon” means “Confusion with Mixture.”

But here we are, Christendom. And in this faith, there are major flaws. A majority have been taught that once they verbally accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior that riches and prosperity will follow. Many “Christians” have been taught, that if they go to church enough times, sow their proper tithe and give their proper offering to the Lord, which they pay of course to their Man made “Church”, that God will open up the heavens and pour out his blessings. They believe when they say a few choice words “Jesus be my Lord and Savior” that their troubles will go away. But that is not the case.

We need to do more than believe on the LITERAL NAME of Jesus (Yeshua) – We need to believe on his NATURE/TRUTH – Which is what the meaning of the word “name” is. It is not just saying “Jesus be my Lord and Savior” it is becoming ONE with the TRUTH that is CHRIST.

This is why JOHN began to doubt when troubles came. He believed in the literal Man Jesus, as do I, but that doesn’t free him, it is only the BELIEF and KNOWLEDGE of the CHRIST WITHIN that frees us from the prison of life’s trials and torments.

The reason, many “Christians” today suffer, and doubt, is because their faith is not built on the ROCK (Christ/Truth), but on sand (people’s beliefs and traditions).

They, like John, know Jesus after THE FLESH and not after the SPIRIT. They believe their salvation comes from declaring their worship to a man from thousands of years ago, that will come again, a man that is in a galaxy know as heaven, far, far, away. They do not know the TRUTH of CHRIST WITHIN. That Christ has never left, nor forsaken us… So, when the storms beat them down, they start to doubt. They scream, “I thought things were supposed to be easy! Where is that promise land? Why are my kids still on drugs, why am I still sick, why am I broke, why, why, why, I thought YOU were supposed to make everything better… ARE YOU THE CHRIST OR AREN’T YOU?”

Why wouldn’t they question their faith and have doubts in salvation? If they have been told, do this and do that, and God will abundantly give to you.

Many have been taught by “Blind Guides” that God doesn’t want them to suffer, that sickness is for the unbeliever, that Jesus and his disciples were loaded/rich and that God wants them to have the same wealth. And when these “followers” find themselves in the “prison” of their trials they find these promises to be empty. And then, when, and if, they question their sandy beliefs they are told by their “Blind guides” it is because of their lack of faith. They don’t see that their whole belief system is corrupt, and based on lies.

What many churches and religions promise today is NOT Christ, they are selling Greed and Lust. Remember it is not ALL churches and denominations in Christianity, there are many wonderful churches, charities, Christian TV shows and stations, preachers, priests, and pastors, who mean well and truly seek the WORD OF GOD… But many, many more do not.

Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

For many, they enter Christianity, as one would enter a market to buy a lottery ticket. It has sadly become like spiritual lottery for them. “You got to be IN it (Babylon) to win it.”

Here’s how it goes down. People are going through hard times they may flip through the channels and find preachers making grand promises, meet someone handing out a flyer at the train station, hear a message on the radio, or even have someone dressed up nice come knock at the door. Those that are hurting are looking for the way out. And these blind guides seem to offer a very easy one.  Some say, You need to step out in faith and give! That the reason you haven’t experienced abundance is because you haven’t given enough.

Now, for those hurting, this itches their ears real good. It is exactly like the lottery. So they, in their error and greed, GIVE… because they WANT MORE. This has nothing to do with knowing the Lord of Hosts. This has nothing to do with Christ. This is what is wrong with Religion today.

“You have turned my Father’s house into a marketplace”

And boy is it. You don’t have to go far to see that MANY are “buying and selling” the sacrifice (Jesus) is many mega churches, events, concerts, conferences, and more. Just like in Jesus’ day.

Revelation 13:17
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Now, not all, try and buy that sacrafice. The WISE VIRGINS were prepared, it was only the FOOLS that went out to purchase the precious oil (wisdom) needed to light the way.

So, the same is true for today, as it was in Jesus’ day.

LET’S COMPARE

The OUTER COURT where they sold doves, oils, sheep, goats, and exchanged money is alive and well today in the FOYER of many mega churches, or conferences. You enter in and as far as the eye can see, there are books, dvd’s, cd’s, oils, tambourines, streamers, key chains, tee shirt, hats, and more, for sale. (Now, look, there is nothing wrong with merchandise and I am not condemning such behavior, but CONDEMING the belief, that ANY OF THESE PRODUCT can bring you closer to God. You are not getting the OIL OF GLADNESS when you purchase “Olive Oil” whose label reads “Oil of Gladness” you are getting a PRODUCT. The problem is, just like in Jesus’s day, most don’t know the difference.

Moving on:

In the INNER COURT the Pharisees always saved the choice seats for the so called “important” people and inside these Churches today, the same is true. Whether those seats are for family, friends, or visiting pastors, celebrities etc… they rope these seats off in many congregations as they did in Jesus’ day and before.

At the ALTAR we see long prayers made as well as those in charge of the service making bold proclamations about how much they tithe and give. The same as Jesus’ day and before.

Matt 6 2Therefore when thou give thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men

Matt 65And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.

You see, not much has changes at all. The Pharisees are still alive and well today in many “Christian Circles” and they are still making their converts twice the sons of hell (ignorance/suffering) that they are. This is why they rejected Christ. They didn’t understand the TRUTH of the Gospel (good news) nor could they receive it. Because they were baptized INTO DARKNESS which is why they hate the LIGHT.

But when CHRIST is in the midst, these lost SHEEP are brought back into the fold. When, and IF, they HEAR (understand) His Voice (The Truth).

But those, like JOHN who are called LESS than the LEAST in the KINGDOM do not know what is TRUTH or what is LIE when trouble comes. “Are you the Christ?”

Let’s be real, no one wants to suffer. We all want things to go as smoothly as possible. We don’t want difficulty, pain. We don’t want struggle. And, when things don’t go our way, even those like JOHN, who seem so enlightened, and who spend day after day condemning people of their sin, may complain and whine and even doubt their faith.

You see what I am beginning to do here is paint a picture of WHAT kind of believer JOHN the BAPTIST really was. A true Believer never doubts CHRIST.

But JOHN wasn’t a true believer, he was LESS THAN THE LEAST in the KINGDOM. Which means people… He NEVER entered into the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN that was WITHIN HIM. John, like many religious today, are focused on the outward, on the ceremony, fasting, proclaiming, condemning, etc, etc, but when the rubber meets the road, they don’t even know who CHRIST IS.

4Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: 5The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

The Truth sets us free. Now what you ask, does the TRUTH set us free from? …. The LIE!

You see many of us have been sold this lie of religion. And what this LIE does is it binds us, it traps us, it condemns us, it kills us, and it keeps us IN PRISON, as John. And in this PRISON of the LIES we were force fed it is hard to see the TRUTH. But for those who do, for those who understand the HOPE OF GLORY IS CHRIST IN YOU, not coming OUTSIDE OF YOU on a white horse, you are SET FREE.

Where once you were blind (ignorant) you see (have understanding). You begin to understand the TRUE POTENTIAL that is inside us all, that EVERYTHING is made by the son, for the son, through the son… which “Thou Art That”

“Born not of flesh and blood, but of the SPIRIT.” And as SONS (Children of God) we are set FREE from the LAW OF DEATH that JOHN and his cronies set before us.

“I set before you good (truth) and evil (error) chose this day which you will serve (believe/know/walk in).”

Let me explain JOHN the BAPTIST a bit more. He LIVED in the WILDERNESS (the place of temptation/trying) he did not LIVE in the promise land. He ATE WILD (not tame) HONEY and LOCUSTS (destroy the harvest). JOHN is the perfect picture of the RELIGIOUS MINDSET that even CHRIST allowed to be BAPTISED from. Just as many of us did.

We believed that RELIGIOUS was the way to go. We wanted freedom from the world, we wanted to know God… so we went to one we believed would lead us there…. And believe it or not, JOHN as ignorant as he was of the TRUTH (Christ) in his captivity, still was God’s messenger, who prepared the way… HOW, you ask? … Well, isn’t the LAW our schoolmaster that drives us to CHRIST?

7And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

Now this is the best part, when we take the whole story in context a mystery begins to unfold before our eyes. We realize what it is exactly that Jesus is trying to tell those about JOHN. What Jesus is trying to tell us about THE RELIGIOUS MINDSET.

Like I wrote earlier, today, many preachers, NOT ALL, but many are “itching the ears” of their blind and abused flock. They make all these promises, but life for 99.9 percent of them only gets worse. Because now, they have the same troubles, the same trials, the same sickness and death, but before RELIGION they didn’t feel so bad about having a drink, or dating, or whatever else they did without condemnation before hearing JOHNS VOICE “REPENT, REPENT”

Paul said, “I was alive once before the LAW came and then I DIED”

You see before bad religion gets its hooks in us and convinces us we are sinners damned for eternal torture, life was alright. But after JOHN baptizes you, you find a ton of guilt, shame, and rules and regulations heaped up on top of your already screwed up life. You find you are more bound than ever.
“ARE YOU THE CHRIST, OR WHAT?”

Well, why wouldn’t you worry. You were sold a line of DUNG. Which is what PAUL called everything RELIGION taught him, and he was the KING OF RELIGION.

Religion teaches, do this, do that, and you’ll be blessed, have faith. However, in Christ there is a humbling. That RELIGIOUS man needs to be put to death.

His HEAD (authority) needs to be chopped off, as JOHN’S head was, for CHRIST’S true ministry to begin!

So now Jesus speaks to the multitude and he says. “PEOPLE what exactly was it that you ran into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?”

When we wanted to learn the Truth? Did we expect to learn ONE TRUTH that is unbending, uncompromising, and firm? Did we expect to walk the straight and narrow path that is so very hard to find that few shall find it? Did we expect to be taught by ONE TEACHER who says THIS IS THE TRUTH and there is no BENDING IT, there is no SWAYING from it, there is no OTHER WAY then this way?

And what is the WIND this REED sways from… DOCTRINE. We can’t be tossed to and fro without WIND OF DOCTRINES. Take a second to look up how many denominations there are in Christianity today… Yet there is ONE SPIRIT, ONE TRUTH, ONE BAPTISM, ONE GOD THAT IS IN ALL!

Did we expect that we could believe what we want and throw away what we didn’t? Did we expect that AS CHRIST SUFFERED SO MUST WE? Did we remember that the SERVANT IS NOT ABOVE HIS MASTER and if they HATED HIM THEY WLL HATE US? Did we expect to be PERSECUTED, HATED, ACCUSED, TORMENTED, AND MADE HUMBLE? …

OR did we expect TO SEE A REED SHAKEN BY THE WIND?

The walk that God has prepared for his elect is NOT an easy one. It is meant to break us down and humble us. It may even be a road of pain and suffering, but it most definitely is a road of PERSERVERANCE and TRUST. It is designed to get you to love the most horrible of people and to forgive the most foul of crimes. This straight and narrow path is NOT one that we can veer off from time to time, because the WIND is blowing in another direction. And believe me, the TRUTH is not popular today. The ANTICHRIST/Man’s EGOCENTRIC system is popular today.

We saw how many turned away from Christ when the going got tough, or how many called him a heretic when he explained…

“Eat my FLESH and DRINK my BLOOD” or you can’t have the kingdom.

The reason? Because they believe in the LITERAL INTERPRETATION of scripture and not the ALLEGORICAL REVELATION of God’s word through scripture and experience.

You see to EAT SOMETHING, means you ASSIMILATE IT (become ONE with it) If you eat and APPLE, the APPLE soon BECOMES YOU.

This is what CHRIST was teaching, this is a great truth. TO EAT the Flesh and Drink the BLOOD of Christ is to allow the Flesh and Blood of Christ to become YOUR FLESH AND BLOOD.

“That day you shall know that I am in the FATHER, the FATHER in ME, and I in you” ==== We are ONE in CHRIST. There is no SEPERATION in Christ.

You don’t, and can’t, SEE (understand) Christ as being something far away from you, when THE AUTHORITY of the RELIGIOUS man is severed, you see CHRIST IN YOU, AS YOU, WITH YOU, FOR YOU, BY YOU, IS YOU!

“Know you not that you are the BODY OF CHRIST” “Until Christ be Formed In you” “It is No Longer I that Live, But Christ”

8But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses.

Did you come out into the wilderness to find a set of COMFORTABLE BELIEFS? Did you expect to receive riches and luxury? Did you expect to inherit literal riches, or to inherit the TREASURE OF THE TRUTH that you are IN FACT a CHILD OF GOD?

Indeed, most of us went out into the wilderness for a better life. We wanted an easier walk, a bigger house, better car, no more money problems, no more family problems, better health… WE WANTED TO LEARN ABOUT COMFORTABLE THINGS! And when that doesn’t happen, if we are of the MINDSET that is JOHN (RELIGIOUS LAW), we doubt.

But here was John’s problem to begin with. He was LOOKING outside himself for a SAVIOR. But the SAVIOR is not found without, but within.

Where we ARE the SAVIOR IS, “Greater is HE that is IN me, than HE that is of the WORLD (carnal man’s ego)”

Christ asks us and important question, “WHAT IS IT that we went out to see?” What do we want? Do we want the TRUTH? Or do we want what the LIES the WORLD is offering?

JOHN represents the LAW and the PROPHETS. These TWO WITNESSES do indeed come before Christ. Many of the SONS OF GOD will first humbly allow themselves to be baptized by this RELIGIOUS SYSTEM know as JOHN. (The Law and Prophets) these are the tutors and governors we are under until the time appointed by the Father. Than we, like CHRIST are driven deeper into the wilderness and we are TEMPTED… But IN CHRIST we overcome. And JOHN is not CHRIST, JOHN offers death, Christ offers life… He may be THE GREATEST AMONG MEN… BUT MAN is A LIAR!

11Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Sure John is the GREATEST AMONG MEN. And the GREATEST MAN doubts the TRUTH. The GREATEST of MEN doesn’t even know CHRIST to begin with. The GREATEST OF MEN, still END UP IN PRISON. Until, the authority of the GREATEST OF MEN (liars) end.

Religion is NOT THE WAY. Religion simply sets the stage and prepares the WAY. The Law and the Prophets are the first TEACHER that we ARE subject to. And, like Salome’s Mother we grow tired of hearing the Law and Prophets tell us WHAT SINNERS WE ARE! John is our taskmaster, the one meant to bring us to Christ, to bring us to A NEW AND BETTER WAY!

Now I know what your thinking. Are you saying John is somehow NOT HOLY? Well, that is not what I’m saying it is what CHRIST JESUS SAID.

“He that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.”

Christ tells us that the LAW AND PROPHETS are the LEAST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

And do you know who Jesus also says is the least in the Kingdom of Heaven?

Matthew 5:19, ANYONE who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus says the LEAST IN THE KINGDOM are those that say FOLLOW THE LETTER OF THE LAW and THEY THEMSELVES CANT DO IT! That in a nutshell is who JOHN is, a hypocrite and a liar. The RELIGIOUS SYSTEM is as the field that is filled with dead mans bones… But praise God all it needs is Christ to breath LIFE back into them all.

12And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

And the days of JOHNS are still here. They still teach DO THIS AND DO THAT and CANT DO IT THEMSELVES!

This is why the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN has suffered violence UNTIL CHRIST!

Finding out what the Kingdom of Heaven is makes it easy to understand this scripture more clearly. For the Kingdom of Heaven is NOT EAT OR DRINK. It is not a life of LUXURY AND PARTYING. It is RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE AND JOY in the HOLY GHOST!

The Kingdom of Heaven is a PLACE OF REST in GODS SPIRIT! And when we were under the influence of the LAW AND PROPHETS that Peace, Righteousness and JOY was STRANGLED AWAY.

Jesus compares the prisoners of BAD RELIGION as children screaming “Look at all I have done and you haven’t given me anything, I’m still hurting, I’m still broke, ” They cry “Look at our tears, I’m crying because of how hard my life is and YOUR NOT HELPING ME!”

But now it is time to put away childish things and move unto maturity. We will never be free, nor will we know the TRUTH of who we are, until the HEAD OF JOHN is cut off!

We have to stop condemning ourselves, we have to stop condemning others, when we ourselves can’t get it together. We have to stop expecting an easy ride and stop worrying if the Truth doesn’t line up with what everyone else believes. We have to STOP ACTING LIKE CHILDREN crying WHY HAVENT YOU DONE ANYTHING FOR US LORD!

Today is a new day, it is the Last day! It is the Day of the Lord!

A Day that is terrible and great indeed. There may be suffering and pain. But without pressure a DIAMOND would never be formed. Without the winepress the Wine would never become a SPIRIT. Without the trials in our lives we would not grow strong AT ALL!

This is why we are told to COUNT IT ALL JOY. When these trials come upon us. This is why we are called BLESSED when we are persecuted, and tormented. Because without it the FRUIT of ETERNITY would never blossom.

We did not go into the wilderness to see a REED SHAKEN BY THE WIND.

We went into the WILDERNESS (our journey to the promise land) to have ETERNAL LIFE. And “THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE”

To know God the FATHER and Christ Jesus that is WITHIN!

“Paul’s Thorn Revealed”

“PAUL’S THORN REVEALED… FINALLY!”

It is perhaps one of the most misunderstood and mistranslated passages in the Apostle Paul’s writings.

2 Corinthinas 12:7  And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a THORN IN THE FLESH, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

Now for years there have been books written about this and thousands upon thousands of sermons preached on this one verse. Man, in their “finite” wisdom have made long declarations about what this “Thorn” in Paul’s Flesh may be. They do this with such authority that those listening swallow their words and never once question, “Lord show me what the Thorn truly is.”

Preachers, Priests, Pastors, Prophets, and Evangelists have stated this Thorn to be many things, including, but not limited too, The Pharisees, A woman, An Ex, A leg injury, Poor eye sight, leprosy, so-called friends, the Romans, eh, the list goes on and on and on. Yet, it is SO SIMPLE to see, when God has opened your EYES (understanding) to SEE (perceive) it.

Let’s start with the verse above, to get some perspective about what Paul is discussing.

6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.

Here Paul is explaining that even though he would want to say, I AM THE MAN OF GOD LOOK AT ME! He knows to do this would be foolish, because he is far from Perfect… These same words Jesus spoke to the rich man when he asked, “Good Master what shall I do”… Jesus turned and said “Why do you call me (Jesus) good? There is NONE that is good, save the FATHER.” – Paul understood this, he knew to brag about his great wisdom would be a fools errand. He also knew how weak the minds of others who put faith in his words were. This is why he made this point clear to them.

, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.

Paul didn’t want anyone to think that he had all the answers, that he had figured it all out and that there was nothing he struggled with, and no further for him to go. On a personal note, I find myself doing the same thing quite often. After sharing this or that, the eyes of those listening would glaze over as if I myself were God standing before them, I quickly remind them of how dependent I am on Christ. That I worry, I have fears still, at times I get angry, I get jealous, I am far from the man I used to be, Praise God for that, but I am also far from the man I will be when that which is perfect is COME (revealed in me).

I digress, Paul is putting his humanity in perspective for them. Now we get to the crux of the matter.

7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a THORN IN THE FLESH, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

Paul here is saying, that God had given him a great abundance of revelation. And with this great amount, it would be easy for any many (without struggles) to exhalt themselves, to see themselves as PERFECT, to believe that there was no need for God at all. Paul understood this. But not at first. You see, like Paul, we too, want to be free from those things that trouble us. We want freedom from the cares of the world, from the attacks of the carnal mind. We don’t want to feel insecure, hopeless, we don’t want to worry or fear, WE WANT TO BE PERFECT, like Paul wanted to be PERFECT. BUT GOD, in his “INFINITE” wisdom knew that if he allowed this, Paul would be LOST.

So God sent a MESSENGER OF SATAN to buffet him. Now I should pause to point out the significance of that last sentence. In particular, that GOD SENT not the Devil. You see it is not a popular belief that God is actually in control of all things. Including the Devil, the waster, the destroyer, the serpent, which does his part well. But that is another discussion for another time. For now, lets concern ourselves with WHO is sending this Messenger of Satan, it is GOD. So we understand, that God has a purpose for SATAN’S messengers in his life. And that purpose was to keep Paul humble.

Isn’t that the case with us. No matter how much revelation God gives us, when we mess up, when we sin (think the wrong thought) — Because SIN of course is the THOUGHT OF FOOLISHNESS (according to scripture) – when we think the wrong things, and act out of that imagination, we suffer. We pray, God TAKES THESE THOUGHTS AWAY, God DELIVER ME from this problem, HELP ME LORD TO FORGIVE THEM.

Do you see, Paul was doing EXACTLY what we do. But Paul, finally realized that GOD WAS BEHIND it all.

Let’s approach some of the beliefs, would religious persecution keep Paul from thinking he had it all figured out? Probably not. How about a woman, or a health issue, or even A LITERAL THORN in his big toe… would this SUFFERING keep him from believing that he was PERFECT? Highly unlikely. We know if we be in Christ, persecution will follow. That won’t keep us from thinking we have it all figured out. So this THORN really can’t be anything outside of Paul at all.

Now when I share what the Thorn is, if you haven’t already figured it out. You may smack your head and say “Of COURSE”

You see scripture interprets scripture. The Holy Spirit will teach you want a certain passage means so you can apply it to your life, and then there you will find witnesses of this in the scriptures. So to find out what the THORN is, all one need to do is search the bible and read every passage about THORNS, then it become clear.

For sake of time, I will use one from the Master’s mouth himself. But I encourage you to be like a Berean and seek out more. This definition of the THORN is as clear as a sunny day. It is found in the parable of the sower.

Matt 4:18 And these are they which are sown among THORNS; such as hear the WORD,  19 And the CARES OF THIS WORLD, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

We know the SEED is the WORD, and we know “your WORD oh LORD IS TRUTH” … So the THORNS are the CARES OF THE WORLD. Which strangle the TRUTH away.

And what are the CARES OF THE WORLD which produces DEATH OF TRUTH. It is Carnal Thinking, “to be carnally minded is death” – The wages of SIN, which is foolish ignorant thinking, is death.

THORNS=CARES OF THE WORLD=CARNAL THOUGHTS= SIN= DEATH

The THORNS were thoughts that were not TRUE. The Cares of the World! Isn’t that something? Paul struggled with the same “stuff” we struggle with. LIES!

Want further proof, that the THORNS were LIES in Paul’s mind (Cares of the world)… Well to find this, one only needs to look at who was giving PAUL this THORN. They were MESSENGERS OF SATAN (the FATHER OF LIES) – A messenger delivers the goods of the Master, the Messenger of SATAN delivers “Thought of lies” which is SIN, which is CARNAL THINKING, which IS THE THORN, Paul prayed God would deliver Him from.

Not enough, okay… well let’s look at the next verse.

 “8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.  9 And he said unto me, MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT for thee: “

So God told Paul, sorry not taking the Thorn away, but MY GRACE is sufficient to cover that Thorn of yours… WHAT? Grace?

And what does GRACE cover a multitude of people?….. SIN! That’s right, Paul, just like us struggled with the wrong thoughts at times, Paul just like us struggled with SIN.

So much for the other theories, Grace wouldn’t be needed if Paul was ill, persecuted, or even nagged by his wife (Paul would need his own grace for that :))

The THORN is SIN. SIN strangles the TRUTH. The wages of SIN (carnal thinking, cares of the world) is death.

Now if I may open your EYES to a couple of other important THORNS in the scripture.

What was CHRIST given a CROWN of before he died? That’s right, THORNS. And what does a CROWN REPRESENT a RULE or AUTHORITY… These THORNS (Lies, Sin, Cares of the world) were DRIVEN DOWN DEEP into Christ’s head (thinking)

And so CHRIST took upon himself the SINS OF THE WORLD (crown of thorns) and what happens next? He cries out “Father why have you forsaken me?” – Now we know God does not forsake us and cannot leave us, but at that MOMENT, Jesus was RULED by SIN, and he saw GOD AS FAR FROM HIM. The same way we all see God, when we are ruled by the WRONG THOUGHTS (lies)

When ADAM was driven from the Garden, the curse was not matter how hard he WORKED to get back to the Garden, the EARTH (his soul) would ONLY PRODUCE MORE AND MORE THORNS … The more we try to win our way back to God, the more we feel like we need to do this or that, the more THORNS (cares of the world) we produce.

So, the THORNS revealed. And GOD is behind it all…. Why you ask? Why would God subject his creation to Vanity (romans 8) well because he also subjected us in Hope.

THIS was GOD’S PLAN for Paul to keep him Humble, to keep him reliant on God. He sent the messenger, He sent the THORN.

Remember, God said, Let the TARES grow up with the WHEAT until the HARVEST. God has a plan for the carnal thoughts that still trouble us, torment us, and haunt us… and what is that purpose? HUMILITY!

“For my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, THAT THE POWER OF CHRIST MAY REST UPON ME.”

The THORNS of our lives are there, so the POWER OF CHRIST WILL REST UPON US.

                 WHO ARE WE REALLY?

“Jacob” is a name given to me by parents, my experiences “FORMED” me into this man I know to be Jacob. There I was a little baby, pure, just out of the womb and within moments, my earthly mother and earthly father began to imprint me. They gave me my name. They said, “You are Jacob” but was that really WHO I WAS or WHO I AM?

Go up to anyone today and ask them, “Who are you?” and EVERYTIME they will say, “I AM Bob, or Helen, or Tyrel, or Eunice and Bartholemule (If your parents were cruel lol)… BUT IS THAT WHO WE ARE?

Then we begin living, as this “name we have been given” and as we go about our lives we are imprinted more. We are told how to act, what to wear, when to go to bed, how to eat, how to think, how to speak. EVERY aspect of our lives, CONDITIONED, and slowly we begin to believe this is who we are. But this so called PERSON that we think we are, is a LIE. It is a creation of MEN/WOMEN.

Values, Beliefs, Names, all forced upon us after entering this world. Perhaps this is why we all cry. Perhaps, we somehow know what will befall us. Perhaps this is why we cry, because soon we know we shall DIE (become ignorant of who we are).

This EGO that is FORMED by our parents, peers, experiences, and the world at large, I call the FIRST MAN.

Now, lets go to the scriptures. Let’s look at how God created MANKIND….

The 1st Man (ADAM) is FORMED from the Dust of the EARTH.

Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

To understand the significance of this, you MUST do a word study of the word “Dust” and see what scripture declares “DUST” to be. In scripture DUST is compared to many things, Lies, Idolatry, Imagination, Sin, etc etc…

So you see DUST in scripture is a SYMBOL for everything that is opposite of TRUTH. Dust is another words to describe the NATIONS OF THE WORLD, the DESCENDENTS of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob… Dust is symbolic of the death found in the WORLD.

Think first of what DUST is made of. Many think of dirt, but really, Dust is DEAD FLESH. We know that FLESH is Carnality at its finest, for the FLESH is ENMITY with the spirit. Moreover, dust is another word for LIES… And isn’t that really what WE are formed out of in this world. We are given a phoney name, we begin to believe that we are what our experiences mold us into thinking we are. If we are called Fat, we become FAT and think we are FAT. If we are called a LIAR, we begin to believe this.

The words and actions of others (toward us) become a CHISEL forming us with the very lies spoken about us. And we are also imprinted with Beliefs and Ideas about God. Most of which, if not all, are lies. For the FIRST MAN is of the earth, earthy (ignorant)

Deuteronomy 9:21
And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust:

Psalm 22:15
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

We were all MADE in this DUST OF DEATH. The FIRST MAN was FORMED IN IGNORANCE. –

“To be carnally minded is DEATH”

Ephesians 4:22
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts

The First Man, here depicted as the OLD MAN, is CORRUPT with decietful LUSTS. Because we believed the LIES OF THE WORLD.

However, regardless of what lies we have believed ourselves to be. We are MORE than our experiences, we are MORE than what others claim us to be. We are MORE than we have ever thought overselves to be.

John 16 12I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

There is a GREAT TRUTH to who we ALL ARE. But many will not yet be able to recieve it. Like the disciples, Jesus could not tell them, as the HOLY SPIRIT had not OPENED THEIR EYES TO THE THIS TRUTH.

Instead, before CHRIST we lived in IGNORANCE. The 1st Man lives in DEATH, exists in the WILDERNESS not the PROMISE of eternal life. The 1st MAN is dead in his trespasses. The 1st Man was FORMED in LIES and BELIEVED THEM.

A life of ignorance is a life of DEATH. If we believe we are someone, we are NOT, then in fact, who we REALLY ARE is DEAD. In our MINDS the TRUTH is buried.

There is a great word picture of this in scripture, when CHRIST who is TRUTH, is put to DEATH at GOLGATHA (the place of the skull)… This powerful CRUSIFICTION in fact, has happened to us all. For we are ALL CRUSIFIED WITH CHRIST. This is why we all cry out at times “Father why have you forsaken me”… Because we ignorantly have been conditioned and FORMED into a creature that believes God would somehow punish us or leave us, for doing what we only could do, out of the very ignorance, God formed us in. 

We in fact, have come into this world to DIE as Christ died.

Matthew 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

What is good for the goose they say, is good for the gander. Jesus assured us, as they hated HIM, they will HATE US, as they persecuted HIM, they will persecute US. Now this comes in many ways, ways we may not even see.

Matthew 16:24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

As Christ DIED, we too, MUST DIE… Who do we die to?

THE 1ST MAN! = the Adamic Nature (our ignorant ego)

1 Corinthians 15:47
The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

This FIRST MAN is LAST, and the LAST MAN is FIRST into the KINGDOM. This is why Paul said, “It is no longer I (Paul’s ego) that lives, But CHRIST”

Romans 6:6
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

This is who is CRUCIFIED with Jesus, OUR FIRST MAN (who we think we are, or thought we were) – OUR EGO – Our ADAMIC MAN. 

But you shall see, we shall also be resurrected.

But back to the 1ST Man (Adam), the DEAD MAN, dead because he is IGNORANT, to be CARNALLY MINDED IS DEATH. This 1st Man, Adam, US, is FORMED out of DUST, LIES… This 1st Man SHALL BE LAST into the KINGDOM (righteousness, peace, joy) … You see the 1st BORN, the 1st US never inherits the PROMISE.

No matter how many times you go to church, how many hail mary’s you say, no matter how many good deeds, or tithes you pay, YOUR WORKS are pointless.

The 1st Born, is a LIE to begin with. He or She believes God is seperate and this is why they WORK so hard to appease this distant, angry, God.

This 1st Man believes everything he or she is taught about this GOD. Depending on where they are born, depending on which faith, these carnal man made beliefs are driven deep into their minds… as the THORNS were driven deep into CHRIST’S.

In scripture we see in many wonderful parables, how the 1st is last, and the last (2nd) is first. You see the SECOND BORN is always the one who inherits God promise.

It is the SECOND BORN not ADAM, CANE, ISHMAEL, ESAU, but it is CHRIST, ABEL, ISAAC, JACOB… Even though tradition dictated the 1st born inherit the Father’s goods, when it comes to our TRUE FATHER it is not the ONE FORMED IN DEATH, but the ONE RESURRECTED IN LIFE.

This is why Jesus said, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN… You see the FIRST YOU is a LIE. The First Man is from the Earth, earthy, but the SECOND MAN is from HEAVEN ABOVE.

What wonderful word pictures these are in scripture. I tell you the truth, these are all Word pictures of US…

If you see ADAM as anyone other than yourself, than you are mistaken. No, I am NOT saying there was no LITERAL ADAM. I am saying, LOOK TO WHAT this account speaks of… Scripture is good for instruction, and what benefit is it to you, if you look at it only as a HISTORICAL ACCOUNT and not ALSO as an ALLEGORICAL ACCOUNT or YOU!

 The 1st You is as much ADAM, and the 1st Man Adam is ADAM. Which ironically means “MANKIND” “RUDDY” 

Let me show you, when you were a child, you were NAKED (not covered with understanding) but you were ALIVE and FREE…

 UNTIL you ate of that TREE. Until you began to believe everything you were told and experienced. From a religious perspective, at some point we are all TOLD we are SINNERS and that we NEED A SAVIOR… And LIKE ADAM, we also ignorantly clothe ourselves in FIG LEAVES (religious tradition)

Notice we do not clothe ourselves with FRUIT. Because the 1ST MAN does not gather figs but THORNS (cares of the world)

Genesis 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

…. Also like ADAM we begin to FEAR GOD and we SEPERATE OURSELVES from GOD… And so we DIE in our IGNORANCE…

“Ye are gods and yet we shall die like mere men!” Ps 82

We are driven from the GARDEN (the unity of the spirit/heaven/paradise) and we begin to try and WORK OUR WAY BACK…

But the WORKS of the 1st MAN (EGO MAN) never get us anywhere, because they are a lie. We cannot work our way back to God, because GOD has never left us, and the belief that we somehow need to do this, or to do that, to recieve this great salvation is the very BLINDFOLD that keeps us from the light to begin with.

We need to be BORN AGAIN. We need to realize that we are GOD’S CHILD.

The good news is, as we are ADAM, we also become CHRIST… One day the HEAVENS (God’s truth and ways) will be OPENED to us and we will understand…

“Behold my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased”

Then we also, like Jesus will be driven for a time into the wilderness to be tested and tried.

This life is our schoolyard, and as a chisel and hammer is used to chip away the stone to form the perfect sculpture, so our trials and tribulations chip away our carnal nature.

Romans 8:18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

It is THE DUST this FIRST MAN is formed in that needs to be destroyed. The DUST which are the LIES of this world.. are EATEN up by the FATHER OF THEM ALL…

  • Genesis 3:14
    And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

    • The SERPENT eats DUST… The LIES in our MINDS are consumed by the adversary until there is nothing left to consume but itself.

    So even when we SIN, there is a work being done. Even when we are at our worst, GOD IS AT HIS BEST, working it ALL TOGETHER so the SECOND MAN Christ, can be brought into this world, THROUGH YOU, AS YOU.

    “Christ In You, The Hope Of Glory”

    This is good news, We cannot FAIL, because there is NO ONE to FAIL to begin with… There is only GOD. And God finishes HIS CREATION (US) in VICTORY not defeat. Our Ignorance was always part of the plan.

     Romans 8 tells us, that God subjected us to this vanity but he also has subjected us in hope. He concluded that none would believe so he would have mercy on all to believe.

    Jesus knew many could not understand what he understood. There is more to us than we have been told. There is more to us all. We for a time suffer this death, but a seed must die so it can produce many others when it springs back to life.

    Come boldly to throne of Grace. Those who SEEK, FIND, those who KNOCK the doors open for them. Who you WERE is not who you ARE IN CHRIST. And as ALL DIED in the ignorance we were formed in, ALL are ressurected to LIFE, when we are BORN AGAIN FROM ABOVE.

    1 Corinthians 15:21-23  21For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.  22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.   23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

    There is the KEY WORD PEOPLE, EVERY MAN in GOD’S ORDER. God makes EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL in it’s time. God is in control.

    Who we were is not who we are, or who we shall know ourselves to be. For now I will leave you with this thought… 

    If you have eyes to see and ears to hear. If I have the MIND (thoughts) of Christ, and I am the body of CHRIST, and I am the given the NAME of Christ… WHO AM I?
