I have written many essays on just who, and what the AntiChrist is. This figure is the cause for much speculation and sadly a corrupt religious system for many years has done all that it can to place this villainous character into the “coming soon” category, as opposed to revealing just who and what this Beast is.

THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE LIFE

I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly! What wonderful news and what promise is found in those words. Yet many have no idea what abundant life is, much less about how one can find it. Well, the good news is you have no need to look any further. Abundant LIFE is a “NOW” event and everyone has access to it. You need not wait for heaven, in fact it is heaven that is waiting “within” for YOU. I have written this essay so that YOU too might have this abundant life Jesus spoke of so many years ago. This is not about religion, this is not some new age philosophy, this is the greatest of all treasures and the journey taken to find it, the most rewarding of all. It is my hope that these words open your eyes to a whole new way of living, where the sky is NEVER the limit, faith is the only currency and where peace, love and joy never ends. This essay of course is free, and I encourage you to share with all those you believe will benefit from these words, as well as subscribing to this website if you haven’t already for many more essays and videos shared here. LET’S BEGIN!

Today, let’s face it, life can be hard. The day-to-day grind can make you feel like your not truly living your life at all. For many, the hope, passion, and dreams they had as children has long been cast aside. The days of magic and wonder have been replaced by struggle, boredom, and disappointment.

Now that is a very sad and true. This is what David meant when he wrote…

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. (Psalms 18:4, 5 KJV)

The cares of this world can steal our life away, robbing us of heaven (which is righteousness, peace, joy, and power) and trapping us in hell (which as you should know by now is not some future torment but the torment found in ignorance and focusing on all that is wrong and not all that is right.)

This is why some, if not many, will say, “Life just didn’t turn out the way I had hoped.”

For some, life is so painful that they may try to numb this pain with work, alcohol, drugs, or pretty much anything that can keep them distracted from the “misery/death/hell” they believe, has become of their life.

As the scripture states, the snares of death (which is your ignorant carnal mind) prevents you from truly living your life.

The “death”, or the “dead”, we so often read about in scripture has nothing to do with physical death, but a spiritual death, a death of the very LIFE we are meant to live and is rightfully ours to live… It is the death truth and wisdom and righteousness (which means RIGHT THINKING)

People become more focused on everything that is wrong as opposed to what is right. People have been tricked into focusing on everything they don’t have, everything they can’t do, and everything they haven’t done, instead of focusing on all they have, all they can do, and all they have done already.

Once a word of hope or a dream is planted in our heart before it begins to take root, our enemy the ego comes along and strangles it. Our Ego works hard to keep us hardly working, keeps us lazy, focused on limits and circumstances. Our Enemy the carnal ego squashes our dreams and whispers in our ears… “Leave what you can do today until tomorrow” and then when tomorrow and more tomorrows come the ego whispers in your ears and says, “you see I told you that not something you could ever accomplish.” To make things worse the ego will then condemn you after you give up on trying to truly live your life by calling you a failure and lazy and worse.

This is what Paul meant when he wrote…

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Romans 8:6 KJV)

You see my friends, LIFE is filled with possibility, it is the very essence of creation itself. We are all creators, each day we are given a new canvas to paint on and when you are spiritually minded there is NO LIMIT. This is why the scripture states, “all things are possible to those that believe”, and again, “with God All things are possible”.

The problem is this LIFE and LIBERTY, that is our very birthright, is stolen away by years of negative conditioning which after a while we accept as the status quo. This scene is pictured in Adam’s fall in the garden after eating of the enemy’s knowledge of good and evil. And the punishment for EATING (believing) the fruit of this tree is DEATH.

This DEATH is now sadly the “life” we are all now living, but there is hope! Our hopes, peace, joy, dreams… our LIFE is still within us all.

The same is true with any seed… The SEED may appear dead and in this world may have “died” but the LIFE that once gave life to that seed always remains within it’s perceived death. Not only that, once that SEED springs back to life (resurrects) it produces countless more seeds that produce countless more… This is why “as the grains of sand and the stars of the sky so shall your descendants be”.

THERE IS HOPE… As Jesus said, “he is not dead as you think but sleeps”… We have been tricked into think heaven and the resurrection that I am writing about happens at the end of time, or when Jesus returns, which is why Martha said, “I know he will rise on the last day.” However, Jesus replies with words we all need to believe and experience today…

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me (my words) though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:25, 26 KJV)

The death he spoke of that we all will RISE from has never been a future event… As he said it is a NOW EVENT! He that BELIEVES shall LIVE!

And he spoke the words of LIFE, which was the TRUTH that sets us all free, and when heard Lazarus sprang back to LIFE.

My friends, this is the day we are all living in. This is the day when we will all RISE and LIVE! BUT WE HAVE TO BELIEVE! Not just believe that we can have the MORE ABUNDANT LIFE that the scriptures testify to, but then we must also WALK OUT this faith with fear and trembling of what death we might return too or never escape from if we don’t.

Now LIFE first begins within and then is expressed without. Such is the case for all things, everything that is, has been, and is to come. Everything in life first begins with the THOUGHT. This is what SPIRIT is.

Jesus said, “my words are SPIRIT”… Words are the manifestation of inward thought projected outward. This is why the scripture states that CONFESSION must be made. The we MUST speak those things are not yet as of they are!

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:10 KJV)

Righteousness again is “Right Thinking”, it is all about Truth and Lies. Whatever you believe you receive. Whatever you sow you reap.

Right thinking comes first by believing the good news… Which is the TRUTH of who you really are, not who your ego has convinced you you are, and what you are truly capable of… Both joy and sorrow, compassion and hate, pleasure and pain, victory and defeat… The whole of your experience begins and ends with what THOUGHT you attach yourself to and what you carry out into your world.

After you believe and put on the mind of Christ next confession is made unto salvation, this is always followed by your deeds.

And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds. (Acts 19:18 KJV)

It is NOT just enough to believe that your thoughts create, you must then focus your thoughts on the things that you want to create. You must take your thoughts captive and test these spirits to see if they are LIFE or DEATH. Not every thought/spirit in your head is to be trusted, many are lies of the Ego. Many liars have convinced us to believe in the wrong thing and to deny the truth of who we really are, instead of denying the thoughts of who we think we are. So we MUST pay attention to every thought in our head.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1 KJV)

The RIGHT mind-set will always produce joy. The wrong will always produce the suffering you have experienced for far too long.

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. (Proverbs 17:22 KJV)

If you RESIST the enemy, your carnal accusing and condemning ego the devil and those lies you believe keeping you stuck will flee from you and you can LIVE AGAIN!

The ego is a THIEF because it steals your LIFE away from you the moment you take it’s lies, make it your belief, and project it into your world and allow it to become your reality.

So I come today, as Jesus came so many years ago to say…

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 KJV)

The very LIFE and HEAVEN you are waiting for is waiting for you! All it takes is YOU to believe it, speak it, and you will receive it.

This is a great mystery for “God SAID…” and it was so. Again the scriptures state that “LIFE and DEATH are in the power of the tongue”.

We WERE alive once until the LIES came… And we DIED!

For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. (Romans 7:9 KJV)

Like the story of Adam before the fall, Adam was alive and not ashamed, until he ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil… The instant humanity began living by the lies and laws of this world, humanity lost touch with its true potential, unity, joy, and power.

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Genesis 2:17 KJV)

The instant we ate the poison/lies of this world, we became brainwashed and began to believe we were something we were not, we began to put our faith in everything outside of us instead of within. We became separate in our own imagination and became an enemy unto ourselves. We began to believe that if we act the way we are told to act, believe what we are told to believe, if we never question, if we conform and we follow mans law we will one day know peace. But we have all been deceived.

What has happened? Why is it so many just want to stay in bed and so many wish they would never wake up at all? Surely, this is not what our lives are meant to be. Somewhere along the line we got lost and traded our joy, hope, and peace, for fear, shame and misery. It’s like many people have simply giving up on the idea of living for more than just paying the bills and staying out of jail. It’s like somewhere along the line people have simply thrown up their hands and said I would rather die than dare to truly live.

This, this my friends is the DEATH scripture speaks of and this is what this essay is about. It is about finding your LIFE again! It is about remembering who, and what you truly are, as well as what you are truly capable of. This essay is about being born again out of the death that has become of your life. It is about LIVING people, which is something so many of us forgot.

The very way we are supposed to live our life is to know the truth of who we are and what we are capable of. Religion, politics, society, and the ways of this world bury this truth in the grave of our ignorance.

The truth of who we are and the way to a more abundant life was put to death within us, as pictured in the crucifixion of Jesus.

Jesus told others he was the “way, truth, and life” … And this is what was put to death within is all for we are all crucified with Christ, as Paul said.

In ADAM all die… In the first ignorant man all suffer… But in Christ ALL are made alive.

So we understand by the story of the crucifixion that the TRUTH and the WAY of TRUE LIFE was put to death at the place of the skull (our thoughts) … Religion demanded the WAY of LIFE and TRUTH to be put death because those trapped in religious thinking are already dead in their sin (foolish thinking, lies, false beliefs, tradition) … Because those religious and worldly-minded people are ruled by their enemy the ego.

The EGO is the creator of all the lies you have believed, it is the very killer of truth, life, liberty and joy. Jesus explained this to those who wanted him to stop telling people the good news of who and what they were. Which is why he called them twice DEAD and the offspring (product) of the enemy, which is called the Devil and Carnal Ego.


Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44 KJV)

But the truth of who we are still creates, because that is WHO we ultimately are. So whether we create a life of peace and joy or misery and death… WE DO IT ALL!

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. (Romans 14:8 KJV)

So what is DEATH?

DEATH is IGNORANCE. Death is what you are living right now, IF you don’t have the truth. DEATH is the loss of understanding and wisdom. Death is the suffering of one who has forgotten who, and what they are.

Proverbs 21:16
The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

In DEATH there is no memory of who we are, and what we are capable of. In DEATH people are not grateful, they have no joy, no peace or rest.

Psalm 6:5
For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

The DEATH of a LIFE is a far sadder fate than the death of a physical body. This death is something we all have experienced.

The DEATH we read about in scripture, is the DEATH of truth, wisdom, and understanding. And ALL have fallen short of WHO WE ARE. In ADAM (which is the first idea of who we are) all died… but in Christ all are made alive again.

Jesus wasn’t saying, if people believe in me they will rise from literal death, what he was saying was people are already DEAD and once they hear the truth he had to share and believed it, even though they were dead/ignorant they would RISE AGAIN and live!

We are DEAD because we are existing in a lie. And the lie is so deep and so pervasive that it affects every aspect of our life.

We believe we are something we are not, believe in fairy tales that are not, and the very TRUTH that sets is free we have been conditioned from birth to not only ignore but RUN from. We are taught to entertain this truth is the very heart of blasphemy.

The days we are in are indeed the days where good is called evil and evil is called good… Meaning, the truth many will consider a lie, and the very lie that people call truth is the very sin (missing the mark/truth) that brought us all into this miserable state.

So DEATH is our ignorant suffering, which is also called hell if you don’t know that already, hell is the grave, it is the weeping and gnashing of teeth you experience because of your ignorance. This state of mind is a result of our SIN. And SIN as I have explained in the past is “missing the mark, missing the truth, missing the point of life”… Sin is our foolish thinking.

The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men. (Proverbs 24:9 KJV)

So how did this happen? How did we all forget the truth and fall into the darkness that has become of our life?

Jude 1:6
And the men which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Now before you go and jump to the sinful conclusion that everlasting chains is infinite torture… Let me set you straight as Paul was SET Straight road on his way to Damascus …

Our first estate is perfection, unity, heaven, it is bliss. Our habitation was truth and we left that state of mind and entered into the bondage of ignorance (darkness)

The EVIL EGO, our enemy led us there… We left RIGHT THINKING for EVIL (Incorrect thinking) and entered into darkness which produce the death we suffer from.

To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; (Proverbs 2:12, 13 KJV)

But we can, and will, be set free when we BELIEVE the good news. Which is why the previous passages in proverbs 2 is so profound.

When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: (Proverbs 2:10, 11 KJV)

We will all be QUICKENED, which means the truth will once again take a dominant role in our lives and we will begin to walk out our salvation and we will once again LIVE the LIFE we are meant to live.

Ephesians 2:1-3
2 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

The life of DEATH you are living is a result of living by the perverse ways of this world… And we have had our conversation with these lusts, with greed, envy, hate, defeat, insecurity, loss, and more for long enough.

This death, is the very hell our lives have become. Yet we will all rise from this grave of ignorance when PROPER JUDGEMENT returns.

Why do you think is it called the DAY OF JUDGMENT of JUDGMENT DAY? Your MIND is the GREAT WHITE THRONE and the day will come and for many has come and is now coming when you will separate the lies from the truth, the wheat from the tares, the goats from the sheep.

In that moment, the moment you CHOOSE LIFE and confess it and express, it you will send your ignorant beliefs, insecurities, lies, and hang ups to the FIRE of TRUTH within you to be burned away for ever!

The power to LIVE is in you, it has always been in you, it IS YOU!

It is time to RULE and REIGN with this wisdom… when you live and inherit all things and become ruler of ALL as Galatians 3 and 4 states you become the KING of KINGS, LORD of LORDS… You will rule your life, and recreate your world with love, excitement and truth instead of being ruled by lies and death!

All you have to do is believe it, speak it, express it, manifest it, and remember the greatest of all lessons there is to learn…

WHAT YOU DO TO OTHERS YOU DO TO YOURSELF!

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (Matthew 25:40 KJV)

That includes your thoughts about them. Remember… Judge incorrectly and you will be judged accordingly… But RIGHTEOUSNESS is followed by peace, joy and power in the truth …

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Romans 14:17 KJV)

The last great truth you MUST realize for any of this to become your reality is YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE STEPS TO ACCOMPLISH what you desire.

28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. (Luke 14:28-30)

The desires of your heart are there because they CAN, and ARE MEANT to become your reality! But you NEED to take the steps to do so… YOU CAN LIVE YOUR LIFE if you LOSE the LIES OF THE EGO! You can LIVE YOUR LIFE AND ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF IT when you DENY YOUR EGO and embrace the reality that “YE ARE GODS” and that to you, IF YOU BELIEVE, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

Jesus never tried to get anyone to worship him, he instead told them to TAKE UP THEIR CROSS, DO AS HE DID, THINK AS HE DID, BE AS HE IS, because YOU ARE AS HE IS IN THIS WORLD! And it is time for you to SO LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE and LOVE!

…God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because AS GOD IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. (1 John 4:16-18)

That’s right, we are AS HE IS… This is what Jesus meant when he prayed, “That they may be one as we are one,” there is no division in One… And again when Jesus said to his disciples, “If you have seen me, you have seen the father,” and even though we have been taught to think such a notion is blasphemous… Jesus made it clear…

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: (Philippians 2:6)

We are IN the Form of God, and God has given ALL THINGS into our hands to do as we wish. But to produce good fruit we MUST take our thoughts captive, nourish the right thoughts, believe the truth of who we are and reject the lies of who we are not, BELIEVE, CONFESS, TAKE STEPS, MANIFEST!

We are the HEIRS of everything, it is our birthright to LIVE A MORE ABUNDANT LIFE… But our ignorance has kept us living a life of death instead… We act more like slaves and servants than the RULERS and LORDS that we are… But make no mistake about it, WE ARE LORD OF EVERYTHING!

4 Now I say, That the heir (us), as long as he is a child (immature), differeth nothing from a servant, even though THE HEIR (US) IS LORD OF ALL;(Galatians 4:1-3)

It’s time to LIVE YOUR LIFE! Its time to create your life! Today is the day of salvation… BELIEVE IT, RECEIVE IT, EXPRESS IT, PUT IN THE WORK and you will MANIFEST IT!

Double Minded Mankind

–James 1:8
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.–

You ever feel like who you are is not who you should be? You ever feel conflicted about things, not knowing what to do or what not to do? You ever feel like you have two very different people in your head fighting for control? Well, if you do you are not alone. And as crazy as that description sounds, if truth be told we all do seem to have two very different natures inside of us.

Genesis 25:23
Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

The above passage is where we find God speaking to Rebekah about the children she is about to give birth to. In a Literal sense of course. The children she gives birth to, that were fathered by Isaac as Jacob and Esau. Esau being the older of the twins, and Jacob being the younger who, even in the womb, wanted to be the first-born. Now this story is a wonderful explanation of what is going on inside each and every one of us.

You see while many people teach every one of these stories as literal, if you’ve been coming here long enough, you know they are missing the SPIRIT of the story. Whether or not there was a literal Rebekah, Esau, Jacob, Isaac or not it NOT WHAT MATTERS. We can all agree and state, sure they existed and the things that happened literally happened. BUT, if we stop there we learn absolutely NOTHING. The historical fact of a story doesn’t help us spiritually, what helps us spiritually is understanding the parable of it all.

In addition, you will find this simple story of Rebekah, Esau, and Jacob is just one of many examples where the duality of mankind is being expressed through story. This is something I have written extensively on in the past, but this is the first time I make this topic the focus of what I write. The reason is simple, I believe understanding the dual nature within is the key to overcoming the suffering that arises from this constant inner conflict.

So let’s take a closer look at that passage in Genesis again.

Genesis 25:23
Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

Notice that the word WOMB is used as the place where TWO MANNER OF PEOPLE are formed and separated. At first glance you would think the WOMB that is spoken of here is meant to be understood literally. However, the very meaning of the word WOMB means “The seat of mental faculties, or the Seat of Hunger.” The word WOMB in Hebrew “atb” also is translated as Belly, Abdomen, and the Body. The womb we need to concern ourselves with IS the SEAT OF OUR MENTAL FACULTIES. The place where God himself sits, our mind. Within the Temple of God, within who we are, between our temples, at Golgatha which is the place of the skull, this is very throne of God itself. It is our mind and it is not only physically split in two hemispheres, it is also the origin of two very different natures. The one who is like God and the one who is like the world. Two nations at war with each other.

The word “Nation” itself in the above passage is translated for us easily in the very same verse. The nations are TWO MANNER OF PEOPLE. Two TYPES of people. Two natures within mankind, each opposing the other. One carnal, One Spiritual. Duality is something every faith, philosophy and science acknowledges and yet this dual nature, within the heart of man, is still very much a mystery.

There are opposites in everything we experience. There is male and female, dark and light, there is happiness and sadness, cold and warm, life and death and as there are two sides to every coin there are two natures within the heart of man. In the scriptures we see these natures depicted as wheat and tares, sheep and goats, gold and brass, righteous and evil, and of course the ultimate picture of duality is Heaven and Hell. We learn which are good and which are evil, we learn which we must embrace the one and reject the other. One nature brings peace, hope, and joy and the other causes nothing but suffering. We see symbols of duality and are about their contrary natures in every faith and learn about these dual natures in scientific study, just as there are positively charged protons and negatively charged electrons in every neutral atom, so we find positive thoughts and negative thoughts within the “seat/throne of our mind”.

The Yin-Yang is a symbol that explains how the ancient Chinese understood how things worked. The outer circle represents everything there is, the two colors within, one black and one white, represent two distinct and separate energies that are intertwined, both have a hint of the other within. Such is life, nothing is ever truly black and white. Of course in psychology you may have learned about the ID and the Super Ego, often represented by the cartoon of an Angel and a Devil on each shoulder of a conflicted individual. In this cartoon we see both the ID and the SuperEgo trying to influence the individuals to act a certain way, or say a certain thing. And that my friends is exactly the war that is being waged within you every moment of every day.

Revelations 12:7
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels

Is it so hard to believe that this epic war that is taking place, is actually taking place within you right now? Consider if you will where Kingdom of heaven and God is located. Yes, both Heaven and Hell are within you. You experience peace and you experience suffering within. You experience hope and you experience fear within. In fact, everything you experience outside of you is being experienced within you for you to experience it. Some would also go so far to say that whatever you are experiencing within, you are also projecting without. Which could be why we see some feast and others suffer famine, some love and others hate, some are compassionate and others greedy and cruel.

Confucius once said, “To put the world right in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must first put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must first cultivate our personal life; we must first set our hearts right.” To change the world we must first change ourselves. We must bring that battle in heaven to its end.

Where we see Michael (which translates into “Who is like God”) casting the Dragon (who is the Devil and father of all lies) out of our thoughts. These two natures that are at war, like any war, must find one the victor and the other the loser. The one who like the world, ruled by its lusts must be defeated by the one who is like God.

We see this thought carried throughout the scriptures in many stories that depict these two conflicting natures. Each nature which came forth from the womb of our mind is depicted as older and younger, first and last, first-born and second born. I like to classify these natures within man as 1st Born and 2nd Born. The 1st being carnal, ignorant, a product of this world, an egomaniac that sees itself as the master of all things. The 2nd nature comes into being later, which is why in thee scriptures we see it depicted as the younger of the two. This 2nd nature is enlightened, wise, a product of God, which sees itself as one with all things and knows it is better to serve than be served.

The best example of these two natures in mankind, is Adam and Jesus. The name Adam in Hebrew literally translates into Mankind as a whole, and so this 1st Adam which brought death into the world is a symbol of the 1st nature in man, that causes all of man’s suffering. The 2nd Adam which is said to be from heaven above, is the one who sacrifices everything to bring everything back to the perfection of unity and wisdom.

1 Corinthians 15:44-46
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

The 1st man, or the 1st Adam believes he is a natural being, mortal. The 2nd man, or the 2nd Adam is raised up within that person, realizes he is spirit and has always been spirit, immortal, divine. The 1st Man is corruptible, corrupted by his ignorance, resulting in Sin (foolish thinking). The 2nd and is raised up within incorruptible, no longer ruled by lies, no longer a slave to its ignorance.

As we saw the 1st ADAM cast out of the Garden, as we saw ADAM bring death into the world, we see the 2nd ADAM pictured as the Shepherd who helps us all find our way back in, the 2nd ADAM brings life into the world. However, this is not the only story in the scriptures where we find the 1st born pictured as a killer and the 2nd as the Shepherd.

Adam had two sons. The 1st Born Cain was a killer who slew his brother in jealousy. The 2nd Born was Abel a Shepherd. The killer of a 1st born son did not please God, it was the 2nd born whose sacrifice was acceptable.

Genesis 4:8
And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

This passage of scripture tells us something very important. The field is a symbol of our heart or mind. Cain and Abel the dual natures found within the heart or mind of mankind. The elder brother, the 1st born Cain a picture of man’s ego which is our sense of being, the one we THINK we are, but are not.

Revelation 17:8
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

This 1st Carnal/Ego man is the beast, who we think ourselves to be, yet are not. Who we think ourselves to be is nothing more than an illusion. We have been formed in the dust of our imagination, as every 1st Man is. Our parents named us, our experiences shaped us, our religious leaders shamed us and forced us to believe their lies, society fed us a steady diet of who we are, and yet are not.

Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The person we think ourselves to be and the one we truly are, you will find are two different beings all together. You will also find that the person we think we are which was formed in the dust of our experiences here in this temporal world is less important than the one that is within us, waiting to rule and reign. This 2nd born, Shepherd is the only begotten child of God, it is your true nature. This nature, or Christ, is the express image of God’s power and wisdom and it is far greater than the one you have believed yourself to be.

1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

The two natures at war within you are the cause of your unrest. In the scriptures we see how this war between the EGO man and the GOD man creates all manner of suffering.

The 1st nature in man, the EGO man always wants to kill the Second nature in mankind. The reason is simple, the second born is the rightful heir. This is why we must be BORN AGAIN. Our first nature is of the earth, carnal, ignorant, but the second nature that we find is a child of God himself, divine, enlightened, pure.

1 Corinthians 15:47
The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven

In addition, as our False sense of identity put to death the truth of who we always were, who we truly are will ressurect! The first man, which is and is not, is destroyed with the brightness of HIS (true nature) coming (being revealed).

2 Thessalonians 2:8
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

The 1st man, who you think yourself to be, “THE WICKED ONE”, is nothing more than an ego that was formed during your time of ignorance here. The 2nd Man is the Lord from heaven. That’s right, that is who we all are, we are all children of God.

1 John 3:2
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is

And who is it that we are seeing as he truly is? The answer is YOUR TRUE NATURE. When that second nature in you appears, when you begin to know that you are more than you have been told than you begin to see the truth. You begin to see that this picture we had of Jesus is actually a symbol for who we all truly are.

1 John 4:17
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

You see that As Jesus is, so are you in this world. You too will become the second born or born again Shepherd that will willingly lay down your 1st nature/life so you can pick your TRUE NATURE UP and SAVE THE WORLD WITH IN.

Your first nature, took upon himself the sins of the world and died spiritually because of it. You began to believe everything that you were told to believe. You began to see God outside of yourself. You began to think of yourself as a horrible sinner, good for nothing, foul and miserable, and that killed the life within you. You were given a Crown of Thorns, as we see pictured with Jesus. The Thorns we know as the cares of the world.

Mark 4:18-20
18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

The thorns/cares of the world chokes the very joy of life right out of us. We have been ruled by our worries and our fears. This crown of thorns was imbedded so deep into our thinking that we have all become most miserable. Who we truly are was killed by who we think we are and now we suffer terribly for it.

Isaiah 53:3
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

This is why Jesus screamed out to God, “Father why have you forsaken me?” These words he cried, we have cried. We have all felt like God has abandoned us, forgotten us, and worse still has punished us for simply not knowing any better. However, this first man, that has caused us so much grief, well let’s just say the 1st man’s time is short. In fact, the 1st will always be last into the Kingdom of Heaven. The reason is simple, the 1st man’s ways are not of God, they are of this world.

Matthew 20:16
So the last shall be first, and the first last

The first-born ADAM didn’t inherit the Kingdom, Christ Jesus did, the second man. The first Born Cain didn’t please God, the 2nd Born Abel did. The first-born Ishmael didn’t inherit the Kingdom, he was a slave who was never born to rule. Ishmael instead was cast away, as we all will cast away our carnal egotistical first nature, so our 2nd Man, our Isaac can rule and reign. The first-born Esau didn’t inherit the Kingdom, he too was a hunter and killer like the other first born we find in scripture, it is the second Born Jacob, the Shepherd that inherits the Kingdom. The first-born of scripture never inherits, it is always the last born. The last is first.

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

1 Peter 1:23
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

This is what we are experiencing now. Our rebirth, we are waking up out of the war of duality. We are tired of being unstable because we are double minded. And so we are learning to take our thoughts captive as the second born child of God (who we truly are) begins to rise again within us all.

Is it any wonder we see wars, famine, pestilence, and hear of rumors of wars in many places, since that is exactly what is going on within the heart of mankind.

Matthew 24:6-8
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

The good news is, all of these sorrows are a sign that the end of our suffering is near. The truth is each of us will cast off the 1st man and embrace the divine within us all. We have no choice because it is who we are. The sooner we realize this, the sooner we will be able to get to that promise land of peace.

It is time for us to DENY OURSELVES! We must understand that who we thought we were, weak, scared, abused, filthy, horrible, prideful, sinful, IS NOT WHO WE ARE! We are not our past, our troubles, or our fears, we are God’s beloved child. We are divine, we are Love itself, and all things are possible when we understand this.

Matthew 16:24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Jesus said it first to those who would learn from what he learned. He said, if ANY will come after, will be as I am, do as I do, LET THEM DENY THEMSELVES and take up the cross by putting that first carnal beast of an ego to death. The word DENY does not mean deprive, it means to “refuse to admit the truth or existence of something”. You are more than you know, you always have been. There may be a war going on within you, but soon that devil of a false identity is going to be cast out of the heaven of your thoughts and who you truly are will reign. That day you will know joy unspeakable! That day is coming soon.

EQUAL WITH GOD?

There is a war going on in your mind Ladies and Gentlemen. You may not even be aware of it. Never the less, every evil under the sun is a result of the unrest within the heart of mankind. This essay is meant to help bring this to an end.

You see, there are two voices in your head, one that leads to life and peace and one that leads to death (suffering/ignorance). The scriptures do a great job expressing this duality. We understand that a double minded man is unstable in all his ways because mankind cannot serve two masters. A person cannot hate and love at the same time just as a person cannot be selfish and charitable at the same time. You see there is a choice that needs to be made. The problem is we have been conditioned since birth to listen to the wrong voice/thought. And so we often follow after pride and hurt feelings doing what we should not, because the wrong voice convinces us “we are in the right.”

Now this deceptive voice disguises itself as you, but it is NOT you. It is an adversary to the REAL YOU. Scripture tells us that one’s enemy is found in his own house. This “house” we often read about is a symbol of a person’s sense of being/soul. And so when we hear this adversaries voice within us, within our sense of BE-ING we can often mistake it for true guidance and ignorantly follow after it. Sadly, when we follow after the wrong voice we find nothing but suffering in return.

Most of us are ruled by this voice. We become so used to the wrong voice that we become slaves to it… The end result is great sorrow.

Psalm 13:2
How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

This enemy, this deceptive voice within you is the “YOU”, you sometimes think you are, in your most selfish and prideful moments, BUT ARE NOT! This is the “god” of this world we read about in scripture. This lying voice in our head keeps us blinded, it keeps us from our true potential, as well as from a life of peace and power.

2 Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

This “voice” is the great dragon that makes war with children of God. It is the Father of all lies, the devil, otherwise known in psychological circles as the ID, or as I like to call it, the carnal ego of mankind.

Now this BEASTLY VOICE, also known in scripture as the “Anti-Christ”, this pretender, this monster of a carnal ego or ours doesn’t not have a separate voice, it sounds like us when we hear it within. It uses our own voice against us. What I mean by this is, we process thoughts in the language of our birth within, our thoughts are like an operating program. Each person follows the commands within to know what to do next. The problem is, somewhere along the line, another program (much like a computer virus) was planted and now these TWO VOICES are growing up together, within.

Matthew 13:24-26
24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

At first it is very difficult to tell the difference between the Wheat (which are a result of the truth) and the Tares (a result of lies). When we are immature in the faith it is very difficult to know which voice really has our best interest in mind.

The reason being, this adversary, this “strange woman” as scripture describes it, hides within our minds and feeds us selfish lustful thoughts tricking us into doing its bidding. It does this by also tricking us into thinking we are justified to do that which we should not do.

This enemy wants you to think that YOU are the most important person on the planet. That the world and everything revolves around you. Now while in essence this is true, for you are the beginning and the end of your experience… SO IS EVERYONE ELSE. We are all in this together. We are all ONE. However, this voice wants you to think that YOU ARE GOD. That you can do as you please. This voice convinces YOU that you are the judge the jury and the executioner if the situation permits.

Ironically, this is also how you can tell if you are under the thumb of this enemy. If you think higher of yourself, if you leave peace and unity for anger, fear, shame, and division, if you stop loving others, YOU are being ruled by the voice of this “strange woman”.

This is why Jesus said, all one needs to do is LOVE and the law is fulfilled.

Matthew 22:
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

This above scripture also teaches us the only way to KNOW GOD IS TO LOVE. If you DO NOT LOVE your neighbor (any one besides yourself), as scripture states… YOU DO NOT KNOW GOD. The scripture goes on to say… because GOD IS LOVE.

Now I would like to take a brief moment to address something about this above scripture. Because of the line “God is LOVE”. The reason is many have reduced God to simply being an emotion because of it. Scripture states, God is Love… hence many state that is all God must be.

Yet, scripture states God is much more than that and if we are going to use scripture as source material for our faith we must truly examine this claim.

Let me list a couple of passages that also describe what God is… and then I will explain what the word “IS”, in “God IS love” really means. The first of which I believe many must grab hold of today… and that is, GOD IS NOT A MAN!

Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Deuteronomy 4:24
For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire

Deuteronomy 4:7
For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for?

Deuteronomy 33:27
The eternal God is thy refuge

1 Chronicles 17:2
Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thine heart; for God is with thee.

Psalm 75:7
But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Habakkuk 3:19
The Lord God is my strength

John 4:24
God is a Spirit

2 Corinthians 1:18
But as God is true

The scriptures tell us no one can know God at anytime, that God’s ways are past finding out… Jesus himself said, that the FATHER WAS GREATER THAN HE. The scriptures state, that no one knows the times or the seasons but the Father. Jesus makes it clear that the FATHER’S WILL is greater than HIS PERSONAL WILL. For years, many evangelicals made the mistake to say JESUS WAS GOD. I have an essay that disputes this. And now today, many ex-Christians have seemed to start a movement founded on the idea that MAN IS GOD. I understand, that things I have shared may have sounded this way as well, however, this was never my intention. We are NOT the creator of all things, we are a co-creator, ONE WITH THE ONE THAT IS ALL THINGS!

And while, I would find it hard to believe ANYONE CAN TRULY KNOW “GOD”, as God’s ways are past our conscious mind’s ability to find out, just as we cannot know what it is that makes our heart beat…. WE CAN UNDERSTAND that to know God… ONE MUST LOVE! For LOVE is the pinnacle of creation.

Everything that is, and is not, and is yet to be, is the will of God. God is in all, through all, and IS all.

This is why Jesus thought it not robbery to make himself equal with God. Because he understood that God was IN him, and he was IN God… and yet, Jesus would never allow anyone to think that he was GOD… This is why he told the rich man, “why callest thou me good… there is NONE GOOD but the Father”. I would like to point out, that Jesus never said “I AM GOD” — instead he said, “before ABRAHAM was I AM”… BIG DIFFERENCE.

Let’s look at that scripture here Jesus supposedly claimed to be equal with God for a moment:

Philippians 2:6
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Let us break that down… The word FORM means an EXTERNAL EXPRESSION of something, you know LIKE AN “IMAGE”.

The word “EQUAL” does not mean “one and the same” however! Obviously, that would contradict his other claim that ONLY GOD WAS GOOD… The word “equal” in Greek is translated better as “to agree together” to be on the same page, as scripture describes “One accord” –

The root word for equal “Eido” means “to see, to perceive, to know” —

Jesus was saying, it wasn’t a bad thing to be of one accord, to be ONE WITH in word and deed, THAT IT WASN’T TAKING AWAY FROM GOD TO TRULY KNOW GOD, to truly EXPRESS GOD… AND YES, TO DO WHAT GOD CAN DO!

Just it is NOT ROBBERY to see, to comprehend, and to express the very wisdom and power of the spirit of “God” within us in the temporal plain.

This IS what we are… “Christ” – The power and wisdom of God.

Jesus understood, that if People SAW him, they also could “SEE/Understand/Perceive” God… for he was in God, and God was in him… He, like you and I, are the OUTWARD EXPRESSIONS of “Him” — we are GOD’S IMAGE — God is the spirit of LIFE that is our source, which animates us, WHICH IS THE TRUE US… for we are all ONE.

Ephesians 4:4-6
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

The word “I am that I am” translates better as “I will become whatever I will become” – I will be whatever I will be… and that explains why each of us seems to be so unique, while at heart we are all ONE AND THE SAME SPIRIT.

In the past, I have described God as Love and truth. I have gone on to share that we and God are One. Meaning, that IN HIM WE ALL HAVE OUR EXISTENCE…

Acts 17:27-29
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

In addition, I have said, WE CREATE! Of course we create… We can make joy and peace, or war and misery. The reason is, the SPIRIT WITHIN US is not mocked… whatever a person sows they will reap!

You see people mankind was given dominion, the scriptures state “all is created by the son, through the son, and for the son” and WE ARE THE SON (elohiym/gods) – YET WE ARE NOT ALL GOD IS. We are a unique part of the whole.

Colossians 1:15-19
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell

WE ARE NOT GOD ALONE… We are the IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD, THE FIRSTBORN OF EVERYTHING! Everything was created BY us and for US and by US do all things consist… So in a sense everything that is IS God, but we are NOT while we still walk around here with our human identity.

Jesus said, I go to my Father for he is GREATER than I am… And I say the same.

If you have seen me you have seen God… but GOD IS SO MUCH BIGGER THAN LITTLE OLD ME!

Now, that other voice in our head may try to trick us into thinking WE ARE IT, this is depicted in the scripture where Jesus was tempted (drawn away by his own lusts) by the Devil (the ID, Carnal Ego, Strange Woman, father of all lies) but his response is one we all must meditate on, especially today when we see so many declaring such.

Matthew 4
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Now in a sense, Jesus is also saying… Zip it Ego… You work for me… The word Lord “The one who truly exists” – That is God, and yes Jesus, and We are as much of God, as God is us… We are IN him, and He is IN us… YET instead of acting like we are the creator of all things… we MUST serve others (for they are us as well). What we do to one, we do to ourselves.

The DEVIL in this story… is the “YOU” YOU THINK YOU ARE! It is your separate identity. And it wants WHO YOU REALLY ARE to bow down and worship it. Sadly, so many today are doing it ignorantly. This is why we see so much suffering in the world.

And while others today are simply reducing God to an emotion called Love… All one needs to do this is dig a bit deeper into these scriptures as opposed to taking it to mean what it states literally.

The word “IS” in this passage, is the third person singular of “to be”, indicating MOOD…. “to EXIST in, or to BE IN, LOVE”… GOD IS NOT SIMPLY LOVE! “God” is simply a word to describe the indescribable life force that everything consists us. And what the scripture “GOD IS LOVE” is explaining is…. You cannot even being to think you KNOW GOD, UNLESS YOU LOVE! Because LOVE is the evidence that you are at PEACE with yourself and everything… WHICH IS GOD.

In addition, when you don’t exist “IN LOVE”, which creates harmony and peace, you will find yourself in a world of hurt.

So when we follow after the “lips” of this “strange woman” (as scripture describes this adversary, ID, Carnal Ego, Anti-Christ, etc) telling us WE ARE GOD AND WE CAN DO WHAT WE WANT we find only suffering.

Now, this suffering as it turns out is a GOOD THING. It is a Karmic Principle at work. It guarantees our safe return to the UNITY that we are.

2 Corinthians 7:10
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation

This is why scripture states, all will come to the knowledge of the truth and the stature of the perfect man, all will be saved, all of creation will sing praised… every wrong will be made right, every tear will be wiped away… and more!

If we stepped out of unity with one another and we did not suffer because of it, we would forever be lost. However, since we do reap what we sow, we do learn after being burned by our ignorance, it is better to do good than bad, to love rather than hate.

And so we MUST learn to ignore the voice of this “strange woman”.

Now, to do this we must first acknowledge there is a problem to begin with. WE HAVE TO GET OVER OURSELVES. WE HAVE TO GET OVER THE IDEA THAT WE ARE RIGHT AND OTHERS ARE WRONG.

Wherever your heart is your treasure will be found. Meaning, if you want to be in distress you will discover distress, if you want to follow after drama, you will be rewarded with drama. So too, if you want to be at peace eventually you will.

If we want our suffering to end, we must find a way to IGNORE this counterfeit voice in our head.

WE MUST RESIST THIS DEVIL SO IT FLEES.

James 4:7
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

This will offer you a first step in the right direction I pray.

Proverbs 2:16
To deliver YOU from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flatters with her words. 17 Which forsakes the guide of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God. 18 For her house inclines unto death, and her paths unto the dead.

As a Man in a committed relationship it troubles me to see how many marriages are torn apart by adultery. Now while this is a real world issue, the real reason behind it is a “spiritual” one.

Let me first point out what the word “spirit” means. You see it isn’t anything truly supernatural at all. The word SPIRIT is simply a word used to describe your thoughts and words. All over scripture we find this. Whether it be the “spirit of truth” or the “spirit of lies”, the “spirit of God” or the “spirit of the world”, one does not have to go far to find this.

2 Samuel 23:2
The “Spirit of the Lord” spake by me, and his WORD was in my tongue.

The spirit of the Lord (existing one) should be understood as one’s TRUE THOUGHTS. Jesus explained that his words were spirit, and they were LIFE.

John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

It is ALL ABOUT THOUGHT people. The problem is, too many today are focused on the wrong thoughts/voice in their head. This is a result of many years of conditioning on the part of our parents, our peers, and society as a whole. Since birth we are programmed to put our mind on the things of the FLESH and the LUSTS thereof.

Romans 8:5-6
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Now the works of the Flesh should be evident to us MAKING IT EASIER to follow after the SPIRIT. However, the Flesh (Carnal ego) is at war with the Spirit (God) and this is why we find ourselves in the predicament we are in.

Galatians 5
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

So what does all of this have to do with LITERAL MARRIAGE and ADULTERY? Well, we understand the things that are NOT SEEN by those that ARE.

So, as we see great division in the literal marriage bed, we also must understand this is analogous of the division we see in our hearts and relationship with God (SPIRIT of truth, love, power, life, unity).

More than 50% of marriages end in divorce. In addition, many more that are married are miserable rather than happy and fulfilled. Not to mention how many have affairs to try to compensate for the lack of love and excitement they find in their own marriage. And so they listen to the wrong voice in their heads and go behind their spouse’s back, whether physically, emotionally, or both. Now, I pointed all of this out because these “literal” adulterous relationships speak volumes about what is going on spiritually today.

As I stated earlier, the LITERAL is always an ALLEGORY or PARABLE of the SPIRITUAL.

By the things seen, we understand the unseen. In fact, everything that happens in our life explains where you are spiritually. You can know where a person’s heart is by the treasure they seek.

Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

For many in a literal marriage, sadly, it seems all too easy to be led away into an adulterous relationship with a strange woman or man, that is to say, a woman or man beside the one who has stood by the spouses side and loved and adored them, just as God loves and adores each and every one of us.

We will begin to see that as a Husband and Wife leave a literal marriage for an affair with a strange man or strange woman, mankind is also lured away spiritually to have an adulterous affair with their carnal mind/devil/id. In a sense cheating on the truth of “God” for the lies of this world (our lusts). Which, really is nothing more than people believing things about God, those around them, and themselves, that just AREN’T TRUE.

When lust takes hold of a person’s thoughts they follow after that “STRANGE WOMAN”. Anytime a fearful thought arises within us, deceiving us to follow after it, it makes it possible for that person to enter into this adulterous affair.

And like any literal adulterous relationship, at first the man or woman is deceived into believing this new relationship is just what he or she needs. However, the truth is, no affair ends pleasantly. And to return to the true marriage, whether in one’s heart or home can be very difficult.

The man or woman who left this true relationship/marriage will feel shame, may end up with a disease and will perhaps be punished by the true spouse for doing such a thing. A separation may occur or even divorce and families will be torn apart because of it all.

You see, as dangerous as a literal affair is, so too, we find pain, suffering, guilt, shame, and separation when people leave the TRUTH for the lies of that “strange woman” (false beliefs, lies, false gods, idolatrous beliefs, etc)

More over, just as the temptation is always present to stray from Husband and Wife, the temptation to stray away from our true husband (Christ= The Power and Wisdom of God) is one hundred fold stronger.

THE FLESH LUSTS AGAINST THE SPIRIT! The NATURAL rejects the SPIRITUAL!

Now for those that think CHRIST is a single, literal man. I have to tell you, this is a false teaching. For CHRIST is in ALL MANKIND, Christ is the LIGHT of the world and our LIFE is hid in Christ. We have to stop seeing Christ as a LITERAL SEPARATE MAN, and start seeing Christ as what I wrote above, the spirit of LIFE AND GOD that is within all MANKIND – the anointing of God’s truth and wisdom and power.

1 Corinthians 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

1 Corinthians 1:24
…Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

For those who say, “No! Christ is just Jesus” I will direct you to John 1.

We are meant to be LIVING EPISTLES (WORDS of truth/spirit of truth) – WORDS/SWORD of God – We are AS JESUS, AND JESUS AS US.

Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

When we understand that the WORD OF GOD, which according to scripture is TRUTH, is within all mankind then we can move onto step two.

Luke 17:21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you

Step Two, is then seeing that this Kingdom which is the WORD of God, which if our LIFE and TRUTH is meant to be seen (SYMBOLICALLY) as a Husband to us. In other words, we are to become ONE WITH IT. To express the WORD of God outwardly. To GIVE BIRTH to the CHRIST WITHIN.

Just as a Wife may leave a Husband, and a Husband may leave a Wife, for an affair causing heartache… We can leave the TRUTH for the LIES of the world, enter into an adulterous relationship causing heartache as well.

This is why we see so many instances in scripture of an adulteress, prostitute, or cheating spouse. This is a great allegory of how we have all gone after the STRANGE WOMAN (lies of religion and the world) and are hurt because of it.

The story of HOSEA (which in HEBREW means SALVATION) is a wonderful allegory of how much pain is caused by our adulterous affair with the LUSTS OF THIS WORLD.

Hosea 1
2The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD

Notice, how the LAND had committed whoredoms/ADULTERY. And what is a “WHORE” but a symbol of a woman or man who cares very little about themselves, or those they sleeps around with, for pay or not.

And this, in effect, is what we do spiritually every time we lay down with a false belief. It is all a parable of spiritual adultery. If you’ll receive it. This is also why we see so many literal marriages ending, so much cheating, and so many miserable people in this temporal/physical world.

What we see in the physical is an outward manifestation of what is going on within.

The lies of the “STRANGE WOMAN” is ruining the spiritual, emotional, and physical lives of so many. Once you learn to avoid the “Words=Thoughts” of this “Strange Woman” you will be like GOMER when she finally is healed of her many hurts and enters into a true relationship with her Husband “SALVATION” again. And then NOTHING shall separate you from SALVATION, which is LOVE again.

Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

YES, WE ARE SAVED FROM OUR IGNORANCE… AND IT IS LOVE THAT SAVE US!

And this EVERYONE will come to understand, but first we must learn to avoid the “STRANGE WOMAN’S” words, which are lies, false beliefs, etc.

Like literal and physical sex, once the two become one, a child is conceived.

And so spiritually, once you become one with a lie or false teaching/belief, a spiritual adulterous child (belief system) is formed.

Just look at the ALLEGORY of ABRAHAM and HAGAR. God said he would give him the child of promise (Isaac=symbolic of Christ birthed within). Yet, Abraham didn’t trust God’s WORD as TRUTH, so he believes the only way to get what he so desperately wants was to have an adulterous affair with his wife’s handmaid/slave. This slave is symbolic of (A belief system of bondage). And when Abraham leaves the PURITY of his marriage bed to produce what he wants he gives birth to ISHMAEL.

The 1st born is of the earth, earthy (ignorant)… Ishmael was NEVER meant to inherit a thing. FLESH AND BLOOD cannot inherit the Kingdom of God (righteousness, peace, joy, and power). Our carnal effort will bring us nothing but heartache.

Soon Abraham learns he has to get rid of HAGAR and ISHMAEL or the TRUE SON (ISAAC) that God promised, would be killed by the child of the adulterous affair.

There are many references to the STRANGE WOMAN in scripture. She goes by many names, the ADULTEROUS WOMAN, the harlot, even the WHORE OF BABYLON, and these names speak of the thought of rebellion (which is witchcraft).

Let me give you an everyday example of how the “Strange Woman” can work. Not super-spiritual, just everyday life and how this “strange Woman” works her evil ways in your life…

Your loved one is supposed to call, or your loved is late from coming home from work… NOW thoughts flood your mind, but are these thoughts ones that build faith and give you peace, or are they thoughts of worry, fear, anger and dread?

Do you think, “He, or she, is on her way nothing to worry about”? -OR- does your mind go to a darker place … “It’s an affair I knew it.” “He’s in an accident and probably died.”

The question is, what thoughts dominate your mind.

You see, God hasn’t give us the SPIRIT OF FEAR. No, GOD’S THOUGHTS toward us, are not fearful, hateful, pride filled, jealous thoughts…. God’s thoughts toward us are PEACE.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

When you grab hold of that then you will ONLY GRAB HOLD of thoughts of peace, which give you the EXPECTED END, salvation from any situation!

However, if you listen to the voice of the STRANGE WOMAN (your carnal ego, id, devil) you will find only pain and suffering.

The voice (thoughts) of the Strange Woman (the carnal mind) speaks only fear to our hearts/souls… And so we must remember God has NOT given us the spirit of fear.

The STRANGE WOMAN will fill our head, with confusing thoughts. When situations in our life arrive, we get scared, worried, and then we find all we can do is focus on the WORST. we don’t know which what to do, which way to turn, we think our lives our over as we know. We find only pain and hurt instead of peace and joy.

YET GOD, is not the author of confusion, is He?

1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace

An author WRITES thoughts, RECORDS thoughts on paper. We see here God does not write CONFUSION and FEAR into our thoughts, but he writes thought of Love and PEACE. And so every time we leave this peace, we in fact are entering into an adulterous spiritual affair with our enemy the carnal ego. This is bad news.

Now, knowing this, you would think that every time worry creeps up into our hearts that we would do as Christ taught us and take those thoughts captive and cast them out. YET WE DON’T!

2 Corinthians 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Notice, the word IMAGINATION… You see Fear, as my dear friend, David Fields would say, is FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL…

In other words, these horrible things that we constantly worry about are ignorant imaginings NOTHING MORE.

Now CHRIST is LIFE, PEACE, SOUND MIND, HOPE, SALVATION! So, anything, ANY IMAGINATION, that exalts itself against the knowledge that GOD DOES NOT GIVE US THE SPIRIT OF FEAR… MUST BE TAKEN CAPTIVE AND CAST OUT!

We must begin to really PAY ATTENTION to what thoughts we are thinking.

If the thoughts we are thinking do not bring peace to our hearts, it’s a good call, those thoughts are NOT OF GOD! And if they are NOT OF GOD, they are NOT TRUE, and if they are NOT TRUE, than they are LIES!

And we shouldn’t be worried about a bunch of nonsense lies should we? 🙂 Of course not!

Now why on earth would we do this?

Well it is because we have been conditioned to exalt fear in our lives over peace and we have been conditioned to think higher of ourselves than others. This is why the world is the way it is.

Why there is so much pain, hate, war, rape, the list goes on and on. Because this hellish world gets all of us addicted to the voice of the STRANGE WOMAN. We love listening to thoughts of fear, our televisions remind us that we should be SCARED! We are so used to being selfish fearful animals that to believe we should have hope, and have power, and that love and forgiveness should rule us… SEEMS RIDICULOUS!

And so instead of casting down these negative thoughts we commit our attention to them, and together we begin to birth out of our REBELLIOUS WOMB (soul) all sorts of hell….

When our spouse is late for example, we immediately think the worst,”There was an accident” “She is cheating on me” “Someone killed him” “I told her not to wear that necklace out of the house, she was robbed it must be” “I knew I couldn’t trust that cheat!”,”We’re never going to make that payment”,”My kids are going to fail in life”,”I’ll never be happy”,”Life sucks”,”Everyone hates me”,”I’m going to lose my job”,”I’ll never get ahead”…

LIES, LIES, LIES PEOPLE!!!! And we’re ADDICTED TO THEM! And so for hours, days, weeks, months, years we worry and worry every bit of peace in our hearts away… “Why?” you ask.

Because we followed the VOICE OF THAT STRANGE WOMAN.

Whether it be us worrying about losing our jobs, relationships, finances, weight loss, children, EBOLA, my goodness the list goes on and on and on. We worry and are tossed to and fro with such fear that it is no wonder people end up doing such horrible things.

The voice of a Strange Woman is DECEIT itself.

God warns us to listen to only his voice…. But we know darn well, that we have been conditioned to NEVER listen to the truth… THIS HABIT MUST BE BROKEN.

There are spirits (thoughts) that minister and help us, and there are tormenting spirits (thoughts) that rob and hurt us. And the Strange Women is the mother of Torment itself.

SO, how do we move away from the ignorance of this adulterous spiritual affair that seems so appealing to us? Well, scripture has a few things to say about it.

Proverbs 5:1
My son, take my wisdom to heart, and turn your ear to my understanding:

Let us study to be quiet and listen to the calming voice of our Father. Let us pray for Godly wisdom which is a tree of life and learn understanding. Let us learn to discern (tell the difference between) the voice of the kingdom and the voice of the whore of this world.

Proverbs 5:3
For the lips of a strange woman taste like a honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:

The same goes for RELIGIOUS TEACHING that are not true. You see the STRANGE WOMAN’S LIPS taste like a honeycomb (symbolic of enlightenment/truth) and her Mouth is smoother than oil (symbolic of wisdom) which is why religious lies are so appealing to us, because they seem like they are enlightened truth! However, when we follow after lies we find the end of it all is destruction.

Look, it’s easy for us to listen to the tormenting spirits/thoughts in our mind instead of the true godly ones. It’s easy to follow after that temptation and ignorantly go down that hellish bunny trail created by fear, worry and doubt. But we must learn to stop… We must learn to stay with the VOICE OF TRUTH, as a MAN STAYS WITH HIS WIFE, AND A WIFE SHOULD STAY WITH HER HUSBAND.

WE MUST LEARN TO TRUST GOD, BY ONLY TRUSTING THOUGHTS OF PEACE.

Proverbs 5:4 But her (strange woman) end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

As mentioned earlier, all affairs end badly. And that also goes for believing the wrong thoughts that come to mind. If you believe you are cursed, then you will be cursed. If you believe you are blessed and deserve peace and joy, then you will find it.

Proverbs 23:7
7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he

An affair with the STRANGE WOMAN leads us directly into the pit of hell. And HELL (our ignorant torment) is a spiritual place that many of us cry from day and night. Hell is here and now in our minds, and many times we find ourselves weeping and gnashing our teeth because we left the Voice of Truth for the Lies of the “strange woman”.

Proverbs 5:6 Unless you should ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that you cannot know them. Hear me now then, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.

Unless we CONTINUE to think on heavenly things, unless we push forward to the truth and always stay positive in our mind we will NEVER be free from the STRANGE WOMAN and her beguiling, and tormenting ways. Unless we continue to hold fast our confession of FAITH, which is CHRIST, who is WISDOM, PEACE, SALVATION, LOVE, HOPE, POWER, SANCTIFICATION and REDEMPTION, we will always be in torment.

WE NEED TO THINK ON THESE…

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

So, may the Lord teach us to take EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE… and teach us to discern our thoughts to know whether they be of the Lord or not… and let us BOLDLY WALK INTO THE GARDEN AGAIN… wiping all the sweat of worry and fear from our brow forever. Because a CHILD of the STRANGE WOMAN will never inherit the FATHERS HOUSE, YET a child of the KINGDOM DOES AND WILL!

If you continue to follow after lies, you will never inherit YOUR FATHER’S HOUSE (THE KINGDOM OF GOD where God exists – LOVE, RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE, AND JOY)

Judges 11:2
And Gilead’s wife bare him sons; and his wife’s sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father’s house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.

There is hope for us. There is a rest for us all. We don’t need to continue on a path of worry and dread, because if we do our lives will never know the Kingdom OF God prepared for us all.

We are not God alone, as the strange woman states… but we can be EQUAL WITH GOD, ONE WITH GOD, when we LIVE TO LOVE and FOLLOW AFTER PEACE IN OUR HEARTS!

So test the Spirits (your thoughts) to see if they be of God or not? Test your thoughts to see if they bring you peace or anger and fear. Then begin to choose which thoughts to listen to and which to cast away. This will free you forever from the lure of the Strange Woman and you will know the abundant life waiting for us all.

There are two voices in everyone’s head.
The quieter voice is always the better choice, because the louder offers only fear and dread.
The quieter voice is love and truth, the louder voice will lie to you and make you wish you were dead.
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
This is why you must find the quieter voice today.
The louder voice will shout and pout and will do everything to make you believe these thoughts are actually coming from you.
The Louder voice will demand action, demand revenge, and will always make you do what you should not do.
The quieter is your hope, salvation, and great reward, this you will find.
The louder will grind hope and peace to powder if you allow it each and every time.
This is why the still quiet voice you must find.

OVERCOMING FEAR

Fear is the root of all our suffering, it is the very entrance to hell (our ignorant suffering), and there is salvation from it. Today I received yet another one of those scam emails where someone claims that they are going through hard times, and have amassed a great deal of wealth, are about to die and simply need someone like me to help them distribute it charitably. I couldn’t help but think of those that are desperate today. Those that really want to make a difference, and also could use the money, that might fall for such fraud.

I have seen over the years, so many scams in the name of God, that it is hard for me not to feel for those who have believed them. The greatest scam of all, of course is the belief that somehow God is separate from us, and not in control of our lives. That somehow, our actions can push God away. But if truth be told, it is impossible for us to be separate from God. Regardless of who you are, where you are, what you believe, what you do, or have done, God is ALWAYS right there inside you, guiding you every step of the way BACK TO the understanding of WHO YOU ARE in HIM!

Proverbs 16:9
A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

Jeremiah 10:23
O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Recently, I myself have felt pretty far removed from the Lord. With so much turmoil, change, disappointment, and sadness for my situation and the situation of others, it has been hard to remember the good news (the salvation in Christ understanding that God is in control of all things).

You see, the cares of this world, whether it is bills, abusive family members, friends, co-workers, the loss of a job, nosey neighbors, health problems, or just the daily grind, can steal every bit of life, peace, and joy from you. You may desire to have peace, power, and purpose, but when you are ruled by the cares of this world (thorns) you seem to only find pain.

Well we can’t say we weren’t warned about this very thing.

Mark 4:19
And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word (Truth/Life), and it becometh unfruitful.

That’s right, the “cares of the world”, these are the “thorns” that strangle the seed, which is the word of God, which is the very life and truth of who we are. We get so hung up on everything that is happening to us, that we forget the good news. GOD HAS NEVER LEFT US NOR FORSAKEN US.

Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And with this understanding, we must also understand that EVERYTHING IN OUR LIVES AND AROUND THE WORLD is going to plan.

This is described beautifully just a couple of verses earlier in Romans, as well as pretty much everywhere in scripture. For example, “God saw ALL THAT HE MADE and said it was VERY GOOD”. Which means people, IT’S ALL GOOD even when it looks bad.

But pay attention to these verses.

Romans 8
28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

We are PREDESTINED! That’s good news! Now for the carnal ego man and woman out there, they say, “No! We have free will, we are in control!” – Well people, first of all don’t mistake Free Will with the ability to make choices. Jonah chose the wrong path, suffered and still ended up doing EXACTLY what God purposed for his life. I like to say, hey, you can take the cruise ship and eat grapes and rest or you can struggle to get out of the belly of the beast (which is your carnal imagination/hell/suffering/ignorance).

I will not say we don’t make choices, but I will say that each choice we make is influenced, and regardless of each choice, we eventually will all come to stature of the perfect man (Christ) and the full understanding of the truth (who we are).

Ephesians 4:13
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Our lives have been written in the book, it’s in our DNA, if you can’t choose the color of your eyes, your family, your height, if you can’t choose your next breath, how much choice do we really have?

Matthew 10:29
Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

A sparrow doesn’t die unless it is God’s will. So much for those depressed Sparrows who choose to end their lives, even it that were so, God purposed it, so something greater would rise because of it.

So HOW MUCH CHOICE do we REALLY have? Well the answer is simple, we have two choices.

We can choose to REST, or we can choose to WORRY. We can choose to hang unto FEAR or we can choose to HAVE FAITH! We can choose this day which God we serve! Will we choose to serve the TRUTH, which means we will take each day as it comes and understand that eventually it will be for God’s and ultimately our advantage (because we are ONE)… Or, will we serve our Carnal imagination and begin to believe the sky is falling. Do we worry we’ll lose our home, our kids, our spouse? OR, do we believe God only has thoughts of peace, and wants us all to have a sound mind, as it is clearly written below.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Now, to truly understand this scripture, FIRST, you MUST understand what a SPIRIT IS!

John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Quite simply a SPIRIT is a THOUGHT. Jesus said, “My words are spirit” – words are thoughts expressed.

Think about that for a moment. When SAUL had a TORMENTING SPIRIT, was it any different from when I, or you, were tormented by our many thoughts of fear, worry, and sadness for those who we have seen have gone astray.

So where do these tormenting spirits come from. Well, if truth be told, everything comes from God. But these tormenting spirits are not GOD, they are imagined, they are EGO, they are carnal. SATAN gives us these thoughts, and who is SATAN, none other than your CARNAL EGOTISTICAL MIND, which is the FATHER OF ALL LIES. I’ll explain a bit further, but if you need more explanation, find my essay on the subject to the left, under the subject section.

Here is how it works, a situation arises, and OUR WICKED IMAGINATION creates a bunch of things for us to worry about and consider. FOR EXAMPLE: “how will you make your rent?””Your kids will never get off drugs””I’ll never have any friends””I’m going to lose everything” – you get the idea.

OUR SATANIC IMAGINATION, creates a whole universe of worry and fear by tricking you into believing all of these things WILL HAPPEN! But YOUR CARNAL EGO is a LIAR! And the FATHER OF ALL LIES! This is why we are taught… “To TAKE EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE” and find out whether or not these “spirits” (thoughts) are of God and True, or are from your wicked imagination (satan) and are lies.

This is what it means, “Choose this day which God you will serve” – Is it the god of this world (Your carnal imagination/ego/satan) – or the ALMIGHTY GOD who is COMPLETELY IN CONTROL, and is trying and testing you in the fires of this world?

If you want to know why you suffer I will be glad to tell you. It is because you are worshipping and serving the wrong god. One will bring you life and peace, the other will cause nothing but pain and suffering, because the voice of this “strange woman” as it is written in scripture leads to the depths of hell (your ignorant suffering)

Proverbs 2:15-17
15Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths: 16To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; 17Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.

We have been conditioned since coming into this temporal (temporary) realm, that we should worry about everything. The ELDER (ego nature) which was formed from the DUST OF THE EARTH (lies we have been taught, told, and our experiences) tries to kill off the YOUNGER nature (Christ/Truth/God) as Cane killed Abel, Ishmael would have killed Isaac, and Esau wanted to kill Jacob. BUT THE ELDER (Our Ego/sense of who we think we are) will serve the YOUNGER (Our True Life/WHO WE REALLY ARE/Christ)… So this is why our ego refuses to listen to the TRUTH, and this is why we have so much fear and pain.

Jeremiah 13:10
This evil (ignorant) people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods (false beliefs/ideas), to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this GIRDLE, which is good for nothing.

A GIRDLE, or BELT is really good for one thing and one thing alone, and that is TO BIND! And that is why, worshipping and serving your imagination/Ego/Satan is USELESS!

Your wicked (ignorant) imaginings are good for nothing but BINDING YOU! KEEPING YOU IN PAIN, USELESS, HURTING, and that means, it’s time to learn how to STOP LISTENING TO THE VOICE OF FEAR AND WORRY IN YOUR HEAD that says, YOU (your ego) is IN CONTROL!

2 Timothy 2:25-26
25In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Notice, the very first line, “those THAT OPPOSE THEMSELF”, to follow after the false belief/lie that YOU(your ego) is in control and that everything is going to hell in a hand basket, is in fact OPPOSING THE TRUTH OF WHO YOU ARE! Which, may I point out, is PRETTY AWESOME! For you are GOD’S CHILD!

1 John 3:2
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is

Yes, we are GOD’S CHILD… but right now, it is hard for us to see that. The reason is we have all of that clutter and nonsence rumbling around in our head. This is why I am writing this simple essay today, because way too many people, are going about their lives believing they are the masters of their destiny, listening and following every foolish worrisome thought that comes to mind (as if these thoughts are true and coming from the true YOU which is Christ).

You are being fooled, you are being told by that EGO DEVIL, to worship him. You are being tempted to worship your EGO!

Luke 4
6And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. 7If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
8And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Our Ego is always trying to get us to worship OUR EGO! It basically says, “if you do this or that you’ll be fine, everything can be yours, simply do whatever wicked thought that comes to your mind and you can have it all!”

But Jesus, understood that we have to put these CARNAL THOUGHTS behind us! And WORSHIP AND SERVE GOD!

Now one may question how one does this… Is it more than “Love God, Love Others”? Well, I will tell you that if you do these two things, you’ve overcome. Simple you say? Well remember to Love God is to PUT YOUR COMPLETE TRUST IN GOD.

1 John 5:2
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments

To love God is to keep his commands, now I’m not trying to put anyone under any carnal man made law. But I am saying, to LOVE GOD we must HAVE NO GOD’S BEFORE HIM. In other words, to focus your thoughts on anything like fear, worry, doubt, etc… is to worship other Gods. A little know fact about the word “worship”, the first time this is mentioned is when Abraham was to sacrafice Isaac, it has nothing to do with raising your hands, closing your eyes, swaying and singing “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts.” Not to say that, doing that isn’t awesome, IT IS! But to WORSHIP God means you must be willing to lay down anything you have CREATED (imagined, gave birth to) anything that you exhalt above God, must be laid on the altar. GIVE UP YOUR FEARS AND TRUST THAT GOD HAS EVERYTHING IN YOUR LIFE UNDER CONTROL! Do that, and you LOVE GOD! Don’t do that, and you don’t. Because you will always be wondering why GOD isn’t changing your circumstances, as opposed to seeing God is making your circumstances to BETTER YOU! When you change your thinking, your life changes.

The ONLY TRUE WAY TO SERVE GOD is to KNOW GOD IS IN CONTROL and to CEASE FROM YOUR LABOR! The question is, how many when reading this will do this? And what about me, will I do this? Sure it’s easy to intellectually understand something but without FAITH and putting this into practice it is worthless.

Hebrews 4
2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

So we need to STOP TRYING to control the situations in our lives that we believe will give us life, because in fact this will produce more pain. “Those that try to save their lives, lose their lives!”

So take a step back look at everything that you have MADE OF YOUR LIFE already, and say, as God said, “It’s all good!” Whether I’m in a castle or on the street, I am where I am, I am what I am, and it’s very good! Even if your situation seems desperate and your imagination (ego/satan) is screaming, “EVERYTHING STINKS BIG GREEN EGGS!” You need to say, NOT MY WILL BE DONE, BUT GOD’S BE DONE in my life!

Where you are right now is not where you will always be. And it certainly is not where God is going to bring you. Where you are is simply where you are and it is WHAT YOU DO WITH THAT, THAT MATTERS!

When Jesus was about to be killed, before he was driven from the Garden… BTW, sound familiar at all, didn’t another son of God we know be driven from a garden?

I digress, before Jesus was driven from the Garden he didn’t want to give up the LIFE HE WAS LIVING AS JESUS, but he knew to pray “NOT MY WILL BUT YOURS!” And it was that prayer, faith and understanding that allowed him to finally GIVE UP THE GHOST.

Let me first point out what JESUS REALLY GAVE UP “Ghost” – A ghost is a SPIRIT of a DEAD PERSON, so actually it was the SPIRIT OF DEATH he gave up! He let go of the thoughts of death (ignorance/fear/worry/suffering) so he could RISE ALIVE AFTER DOING SO! It is a person’s ability to say, NOT MY WILL BUT YOURS BE DONE, that allows us, as it did Jesus, to finally say “INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMIT MY SPIRIT!”

We have to be ready to give up the SPIRIT OF DEATH (THE GHOST), we have to be willing to give up the “Thoughts of worry, fear, and doubt” and be willing to commit our SPIRIT (overall thinking) to the HANDS (AUTHORITY/RULE) of God as Jesus did.

He understood, as I am hoping you will understand that we can do nothing of ourselves. And even though times may be hard we will be RESURRECTED from our current situation when WE REST IN GOD’S HANDS! We must be willing to accept whatever comes out way as if it is a gift from God, BECAUSE WE KNOW…

2 Corinthians 9:8
God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

I know life isn’t always easy. I know this as well as you know this. I have experienced pain. As you have loss I have had loss. I hurt as you hurt. I’ve been betrayed as you have been betrayed. I like you have cried, screamed, shouted, and worried for my very life, for my family, and for my friends. Of course, everyone’s challenges are different, but we all suffer with the same fears. The good news is, in my like I have learned that after the storm there is always that still small voice reminding me to…

“Be Still and Know I am Lord”

Because…

Philippians 2:13
It is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Soon, you will understand that all of these hard times will be as NOTHING compared to all the good that comes out of them!

Romans 8:18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

At this moment, take a breath, forget about everything you owe, forget your troubles and say to yourself…

“ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE THAT LOVE GOD!”

A weight lifter doesn’t become strong unless resistance is constantly added. A pearl isn’t formed unless an Oyster is constantly covering and dealing with the irritation of the grain of sand. A student doesn’t learn unless that student is tested and passes the test.

But worrying about the test never helps that student pass the test. Thinking you will fail it won’t help you ace it!

So why is it a majority of our thinking is like that of the ignorant student worried he will somehow fail? Why do we worry so much, when scripture states, ALL WILL OVERCOME THIS WORLD!

THE REASON: You have not yet renewed your mind.

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Don’t conform (give in and believe) your wicked imagination (Satan=god of this world). No, cast those thoughts away. Any thought that brings you fear, STOP, DROP, AND ROLL THAT STONE OF CONDEMNATION AWAY! Say, it is no longer I (my ego) that lives, But CHRIST (the power and wisdom that God is completely in control)

We are told what to think on, and nowhere does it say think about fearful thoughts.

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

We all have to change our thinking people! And the best way to do that is to FINALLY REST! Give up the reigns, give up the ghost (spirit of death) and just go with the flow, saying NOT MY WILL LORD BUT YOURS!

Let me give you a personal example: My will is NOT to have trouble at work, but there is trouble at work. Not of my doing, not of my lack of dedication or talent, but because people know not what they do, and God has saw fit to bring this into my life to teach me to REST! Everything in our life is a lesson to learn. The sooner you learn the lesson, the sooner you trust that God is in control of it all the sooner you will rest and be free! My Egotistical Will is to not suffer, but God’s will is for me to have faith! My will is a great lack of faith, SO I LEARN TO PRAY “FATHER INCREASE MY FAITH” SO I MAY REST! And I evenually rest!

Matthew 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you

The sad truth is even though we say we believe these things our EGOTISTICAL SATANIC IMAGINATION will fight us and try and keep us from ENTERING INTO SUCH REST! This is the war within and the only way this war is won is to GIVE UP THE FIGHT!

A fight only ends when one side gives up!

Hebrews 4:10
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Now many won’t be able to do this because they have not yet learned the most important lesson of all…

OF OURSELF WE CAN DO NOTHING, WE CAN ONLY DO WHAT WE SEE AND HEAR THE FATHER DO!

If you’ve ever wondered why it states that Christ suffered in all points as we suffer it is because BY HIS STRIPES (WHICH ARE OUR STRIPES) we are healed. CHRIST is our LIFE, our suffering is CHRIST’S SUFFERING, but also HIS GREAT WORKS which cannot be contained in all the books, are our great works!

So fear not, GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU (your true life/christ) THAN HE (your ego) THAT IS IN THE WORLD (your wicked imagination ruled by your EGO/SATAN) – In the end, it is all good.

SO PLEASE, NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH, REST!
