“THE SMILES, THE SMILES”

The smiles, the smiles, what do they hide?
A kind heart twisted from the pain inside?
A tortured soul pretending everything is all right?
Or a beautiful spirit pricked by the thorns in ones side?

The smiles the smiles, what are they for?
A desperate soul longing for more?
A million cares, worries, fears, insecurities one can’t ignore.

The smiles, the smiles where have they gone,
The desperate ones fighting to break free from the stranglehold that has held us for too long.
Wanting to know right from wrong but never feeling one belongs.

The smiles, the smiles, of those around so hard this day to be found.
One day you are up the next you are down.
Why, oh why does our pain continually come around?

The smiles, the smiles no longer able to fake.
The unbearable pain that so many willingly take.
The greed of others, their judgment and hate, rain down filling sorrows lake.

The smiles, the smiles do we remember what a true one feels like. Have we forgotten how to find them, and if so do we know why? Where have the days gone when life was more about living than fighting to find life?
When will we no longer need to avoid fears knife?

The smiles, the smiles, can we find again the joy we’ve left behind. Will we sell, heartaches well, the one we continue to fill with the swill of the daily grind?
Will we stand against pressures hand to find the land where the smiles, the smiles always arrive on time?

The smiles, the smiles they long to be free, It isn’t dificult to find your smile this you will soon see.
The time is now to let things be what they be, the trappings of this world are the lies that have tricked you and me.
The frowns of our downs will be swallowed by the smiles victory.

The smiles, the smiles will stretch to the corners of our face.
The smiles, the smiles oh yes, fear, pain, and worry they will erase.
The smiles, the smiles, let them rise and you will finish this race. The smiles, the smiles sure they have been gone for awhile, but now we need to put them back in their place.

So smile my friend, smile even if you are facing the end, smile when you want to cry, smile when you would rather die, smile when everything is too hard, smile when you feel like you have gone too far, been too marred, too scarred, smile my friend even when you don’t want to. Smile this is what you must do. For in the smile is the key to peace that has been avoiding you. In the smile is the end of the lies you have believed, in the smile you will find the truth.

Because the smiles, the smiles are your escape, so let your smile overtake this moment, and don’t forget to hold it. Keep that smile on your face until know it, until you can show it, until you feel it, until the smiles, the smiles deliver you and you know it.

ENTER THE STRAIGHT GATE

This video is straight from my heart. It is by far one of my favorite to date, which is ironic considering I thought it would become one of my worst. That alone is a great revelation, sometimes the things that we ignorantly (carnally) believe to be the worst thing for us, when looked at with different eyes (non-judgmental) become one of the greatest things for us and others. Find out the truth of who you are, set your sights on things that are higher, believe all things are possible, and start looking at your life and the life of others as precious. Now let me start by saying approach this article with an open mind. Use your God give common sense, see if the words I have written make sense, and if the scriptures I use back up the statements made. Don’t read into what I am writing and try to conjure in your mind what I am saying, read what I am writing and it should be clear what I am saying. Now if you aren’t ready to really dive off into the depths of what is here, don’t. I won’t be offended and you won’t be damned or any less of God’s child if you don’t read on. The difference between me and religion, is I don’t want anything from you, I don’t need anything from you, nor do you have to do anything to reach what I believe are the heights that God (in us all) has prepared for us all, the truth of this may be hidden from some for now, but trust me, not always. God will have ALL come to the knowledge of the truth and the stature of the perfect man, but EACH ONE in their own order. So I hope you enjoy this essay, which as always I start with a basic idea and who knows if I will ever come to it. But I guarantee this is a paper that needs to be written and read by those who read it. WHY? you ask… The answer is simple… BECAUSE I AM WRITING IT 🙂 Enjoy Jacob

“LAMB OF GOD?”

John 1:29
Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Ah, the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world, we all know that scripture well. We read it and we instantly think of that 6 foot tall white man with a perfectly trimmed beard and blue eyes. That’s right the idol of Jesus. The one everyone says, we need to believe in to be saved.

But is believing in a dead man from two thousand years ago Salvation? Or is that just a line we have been sold? Or is salvation within us all. If Christ IN you is the HOPE of Glory, why do so many put their faith in a Christ OUT of them, far away, and supposedly coming soon?

Well the answer is simple. The longer one is told they have to do this or that, and then wait for salvation, then these “sheep/lambs” will continue to support those telling them to do so. So sad is the state of religion of mankind and those trapped by it, that it seems to me no surprise that daily my eyes are opened to new and exciting truths that put the beliefs I was force-fed as an ignorant sheep/lamb of god of their head.

So must we believe is someone outside of ourselves to have salvation, and that is all. Must we wait for this once dead and now risen man to return to whisk us away, or is salvation of God and of God alone… And does this salvation come from within us, and within us alone.

Isaiah 12:2
Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘ For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’

The Old Testament always made it clear that coming to know God is your salvation and strength. Salvation has little to do with simply agreeing with what some preacher, profit (spelling intended), priest, rabbi, Iman, or guru tells you, and it has everything to do with “coming to this knowledge and understanding” that God IN You, is the only hope there is. Could it be that salvation does not come with any other cost, then simply giving up who you think you are in this world, giving up your fears, blind worship, guilt, worry, doubt, ignorance, suffering, and “I”dentity, instead of holding on to all of that and believing in a man people tell you, YOU NEED TO ACCEPT AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR OR ELSE!

Isaiah 33:6
Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation

Wisdom is written about all over scripture. It states that…

Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding

Wisdom is the PRINCIPAL thing. That means it is the MOST IMPORTANT THING? So where does that leave out the worshipping of a SINGLE MAN? Nowhere is the answer.

We are told very clearly where our worship should be, and it is not to worship a Man or a Son of Man… Which unfortunately, everyone is doing. They have reduced the Image of the Incorruptible God into the IMAGE of a corruptible MAN. Meaning, there are MILLIONS that don’t seek salvation at all, because they have been brainwashed into believing in an IDOL. An IDOL mind you that NEEDS to be put to death, to take away this great sin. After all the Lamb of God is sacrificed and in so doing, it takes away the sins of the world. The long and short of it people is this, your worship of a single man outside you from years ago, called the Son of Man is one of man’s greatest sins (errors).

Numbers 23:19
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good

Notice this, MAN lies, AND the SON OF MAN needs to repent. AND GOD IS NEITHER. And this Jesus that everyone is worshipping today, was the SON OF MAN, as well as being the Son of God, but here is a newsflash… SO ARE WE!

1 John 4:17
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because AS HE IS, SO ARE WE in this world

Now you wouldn’t go around telling people they need to believe in you, worship you, and bow down and serve you to be saved, would you? OF COURSE NOT! The reason is, you innately know that God is much more than your SOUL, much more than who you think you are in this world, God is NOT A MAN, or the SON OF MAN, or the EGO OF MAN. No, God is out life! The SPIRIT that exists in all, animated all, leads all, molds all, and this spirit is ONE, not many, ONE!

Salvation will NEVER come by simply worshipping, or claiming someone’s name, or going to church every sunday and doing what the sheep shearers tell you to do. Salvation ONLY COMES, the SINS OF THE WORLD are only taken away when the LAMB IS SLAIN! – When you die to who you think you are, when you let go of the cares of this world, when you stop worshipping yourself and believe yourself to be in control of everything, and become one with the SPIRIT OF GOD, which is HIDING away inside the veil, that is to say, your IGNORANCE/FLESH/EGO.

So salvation comes with understanding, with wisdom. After all WISDOM IS A TREE OF LIFE. The only way we will be saved is by casting off the OLD MAN (who we thought we were/sheep/lamb) and renewing our minds, by taking on the MIND OF CHRIST. (meaning the power and wisdom of God)

1 Corinthians 1:24
Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

So why are people telling you, you need to accept Jesus into your heart, make him Lord of your life, and then pointing you to a man from thousands of years ago to put your faith in, as opposed to directing you to the TRUTH that has been hidden from the ages, the Mystery of the Kingdom of God, which has ALWAYS BEEN WITHIN YOU? Why aren’t they telling you to turn within, and stop paying tribute to idols, and false beliefs and traditions? Why aren’t they teaching about how the ONLY HOPE OF GLORY there is, is CHRIST IN YOU, THE KINGDOM IN YOU?!

The answer is simple… MARKETING 101. This is a time-tested technique. The elite, know most people will just take their word for it and won’t go to God. The elite, are egotistical liars who are enslaving God’s children, they are task masters who want to keep everyone in fear and guilt and keep the only salvation there TRULY IS far from them.

Let’s take a look at the tools of marketing for a second. Anyone with a marketing or business degree knows this. There are basically four things to make a business succesful, and religion has mastered it. Let’s take a look at them.

1) Create a need – (Tell people they need salvation and tell them even though they didn’t do anything wrong, the bible says they were born this way, then get them to NEED religion to make them feel better about their now obvious insecurity, that religion created)
2) Meet that need – (Tell people, the only way to have salvation from the troubles in the world is to accept this Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Krishna, Pope, or whatever other savior they offer as their product to end all products)
3) Create a reward system – (Tell people if they do what they are told to do, they will one day know Heaven, and all the perfect joy that goes along with it)
4) Create a consequence for not buying into the product being sold – (tell the people if they don’t buy what they are selling they will BURN FOREVER, scare them into the cult of religion)

Now many churches take it further, like the Catholics to ensure a constant flow of customers. (Tell the people they can’t use birth control and the instant they are born say they need to be baptized, then create steps so all along that person’s life they need to keep meeting these goals OR ELSE)

I am not picking on Catholics here, just trying to point out something. Religion takes scripture, which they obviously don’t truly understand or have a greater revelation of and twist it to fit their agenda.

Let’s be real people, they say the goal of the Christian Churches and their thousands of denominations is to SAVE SOULS… Many evangelical preachers will go so far as to say based on the number of people who came up to the altar that they SAVED 50, or a 100, or more… And then will tell people we need to raised more money to save more… But let’s be real, God doesn’t need anyone’s money to save, and God can save perfectly well without the help of religion.

The sad and ugly truth of Religion is this, IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! SHOW US THE MONEY AND WE’LL SHOW YOU HEAVEN, they promise. Yet, they do nothing but make people more ignorant and hurt than they are.

Matthew 23:15
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves

So why am I here? To tell you, you don’t need to do what religion says, you don’t need to go to church, you don’t need to give into fear tactics, you don’t need to give your money, you don’t need to do anything but RETURN TO GOD! And the only way to do that is to GO WITHIN YOURSELF and SEEK TO FIND!

It is truly disturbing what I see in the land today. Sadder still is the fact that when I was ignorant of the scriptures, and still a child in my walk, I too was a fool (didn’t really believe in God because I believed in religions god, which is CARNAL MAN’S EGO)… the god of this world, is the god religion is worshipping today and it is MANKIND’S EGO. But now that my eyes have been opened I see that the key has always been within, and it isn’t up to me or anyone else to say you have to do this or to do that to find salvation. It’s up to God, and he will place the desire in your heart to find the TRUTH for yourself, which will set you free. WE DON’T DO THE WORK REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE FEAR MONGERS TEACH!

Titus 3:3-5
3 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit

We are SAVED, when our MINDS ARE CHANGED, RENEWED. And until that day, sadly religious people are so hateful, prideful, and insecure that anyone who states something different from what they have been brainwashed into believing, the fangs come out. And it isn’t pretty. But this is only because they are ignorant to the truth. They don’t have the knowledge of the TRUTH.

Proverbs 10:21
The lips of the righteous feed many, But fools die for lack of wisdom

Now I know what I am writing here may sound blasphemous for some. But I am telling you the truth, religion is not the answer, the belief in a single man from thousands of years ago is not the answer (his life was an allegory, a pattern, the way we all must travel), the only salvation there is to be found is in the here and now, not the hereafter and the good news is all will find this. Which is why we must love and forgive all. LOVE GOD, LOVE OTHERS! Now for many these words will seem as vulgar, and I may be called terrible names (which I do not mind, nor should you), because…

2 Corinthians 4:3
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing

Now does this mean, they are going to die… NO! It means their EGO, their outer man is still dying. They haven’t put off that former conversation with the flesh (which basically is, worship the image of mankind instead of the spirit hidden within the image) – This OUTWARD man, this OUTWARD BELIEF, HAS TO GO… And the good news is, it will!

2 Corinthians 4:16
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

I want you to look at the TWO GODS in this world. One is TRUE, One is FALSE.. Then question and ask yourself which God is the God you worship.

God wants to deliver and set free, his words and promises are true, does not condemn, saves all.

Mankind’s ego (god of this world) wants to rule, hoard, dictate, condemn, and control, is a hypocrite who condemns, damns.

The True God – is our Father – which when translated from the original text doesn’t mean father in the natural sense… not at all. You might be surprised to find out what it means however. You have to remember the bible uses metaphoric language, it is an allegory (and yes some has literal meaning, but even that has a metaphorical undertone and truth to is) – So we must discern, and seek the deeper meaning of even the simple words we find like “Oh Father who art in heaven” – If we don’t we will see God as an Old Man with a beard… as opposed to what scripture states God to be.

John 4:24
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth

And no one can see the SPIRIT… It is like the WIND, as are the children of the GREAT SPIRIT called GOD or FATHER… So when we read Father, we are not meant to take it as a literal man, but as a generator, creator, a divine force that creates, leads, and guides… as temporal Father’s do.

Here is the original word and definition.

FATHER: path/r – the originator and transmitter of anything the authors of a family or society of persons animated by the same spirit as himself one who has infused his own spirit into others, who actuates and governs their minds

And our GOD IS ONE… which means the self-same spirit that is IN ME, is IN YOU! And this SPIRIT governs our thoughts! So even though we have DIED and left the world of the living for the LUSTS OF THIS DEATH (IGNORANCE/FALSE BELIEFS), WE WILL RETURN to the UNITY we had before the creation of the world… and I means the LUSTS THEREIN.

1 John 2:16
For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

So let me try to briefly get into the LAMB OF GOD, and dispel some of the false beliefs we have had about this LAMB as being a symbol of peace and salvation. When in fact the LAMB is the very thing that needs to BE PUT TO DEATH. The LAMB IS THE OLD MAN, slain from the foundation of the world.

Revelation 13:8
All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world

Now this is about to change everything about what you have believed about this LAMB! First please notice, the BOOK OF LIFE… what is the BOOK OF LIFE ABOUT… The answer is, THE LAMB SLAIN.

The Book of Life OF the lamb slain.

Now we would think this means, that the LAMB was Jesus and he was sacrificed to save us before the literal world began… BUT YOU’D be thinking wrong. The LAMB/SHEEP of God is HUMANITY… Adam/jesus/everyone – ADAM was slain… Adam means HUMANITY, MANKIND it nothing to do with a single man, but it means ALL OF MANKIND. It is a plural word, Adam is.

Genesis 1:27
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created THEM!

Note the word THEM… Man=mankind = all of us. And when the WORLD (we know by now, this means the LUSTS OF THE WORLD) was conceived in the mind of man (eating of that tree) mankind was slain.

Oh I know, many will say this is not what it means. But let’s look at that verse in revelation again, and translate a few words for you, to see WHY the LAMB was slain. And here is a hint, it wasn’t TO SAVE ANYONE, it was SLAIN (cut off from the land of living/enlightenment) FROM, FROM, FROM the foundation of these LUSTS (WORLD). Why did I write FROM three times? Because it doesn’t mean from as in a literal date… Take a look at what it literally means.


FROM = Apo = of separation
of local separation, after verbs of motion from a place i.e. of departing, of fleeing, …
FROM = Apo = of origin
of the place whence anything is, comes, befalls, is taken
of origin of a cause

The Lamb (humanity) was slain (when it began to believe itself separate from the whole(God) by creating these lusts (lusts of eyes, flesh, pride of life)

So really this scripture has nothing to do with a single man being murdered to appease some vengeful gods wrath. But it has everything to do with how we (humanity) became ignorant of God… we created an EGO for ourselves and then began to worship that EGO (old/outward man) and we even created a god out of that EGO and we called him Jesus. This my friends is the sad truth. Although many will say Jesus the MAN is God (knowing full well scripture says God is not a man) – people need to understand the message that Jesus of the scriptures was trying to get across… If you don’t lose your EGO you won’t save your sense of identity and life, if you don’t follow him and do as he did (crucify the flesh), if you DON’T BECOME THE SLAIN LAMB you won’t be worthy to open the BOOK OF LIFE which is yours to begin with, to find every NAME (nature) that is written in there. Jesus wanted people to take their eyes of of his “I”dentity/ego… and put their eyes on the FATHER.

The FATHER – which simply means the ORIGINATOR AND CONTROLLER OF EVERYTHING IN US, ABOUT US, FOR US.

If Jesus the “ego” man was a good man, he wouldn’t have corrected the rich man.

Mark 10:18
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God

Jesus was always trying to get people to take their eyes off of him, and place them on God.

John 8:28
Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

If Jesus honored himself, as Christian Religious leaders try to get you to honor him, he would be as big a mess as the people teaching that nonsense.

John 8:54
Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me

Here is the problem in a nutshell. People worship Man’s Ego (the one formed from the dust that the serpent eats (carnal mind assimilates)… instead of Man’s SPIRIT which is LIFE INDEED.

And why wouldn’t we? We have been sold a lie from the day we were old enough to understand the words coming out of the liars mouths. REMEMBER the first man (nature of you and me) is dead in our trespass… and what is our trespass (the foundation of the world) – the creation of these lusts within us, thinking we are god, believing we have to do this or that to inherit anything. The Ego man has been exalting himself about God for so long, saying God is outside of him or her that God (who is man’s true spirit) had to cast him and her down.

Isaiah 14:12-14
12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High

I know some of you will say, WAIT A MINUTE THAT IS SATAN… well I don’t have time to correct that, but God will, and I do have an article about Lucifer on this blog to the left of your screen somewhere, find it.

So why did the LAMB need to be sacrificed? — TO TAKE AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD… because it was the LAMB (ignorant mankind) that fell victim to all of this nonsense to begin with. So the LAMB has to be slain, and once it is SLAIN – it will be worthy to open the greater truths of God.

I know you think the Lamb is a peaceful animal and a symbol of our savior. News for you, the LAMB is the farthest thing from the SAVIOR… that is why it needs to be put to death. THE SHEPHERD is the savior not the sheep.

First let’s look at the characteristics of the LAMB, which is basically a Sheep (thanks Dean Dosher for that one :))

LAMB/SHEEP
1. timid, fearful, easily panicked
2. dumb stupid, gullible
3. mob psychology
4. easily influenced
5. very vulnerable to fear, frustration
6. Short sighted, bad reasoning skills
7. no means of self-defense; can only run
8. easily killed by enemies
9. jealous, competitive for dominance
10. can’t tell between good and bad water to drink
11. Will die if left alone.
12. perverse
13. stubborn
14. easily flipped over on back, unable to get back on feet and will die without help
15. frequently looking to rest or sleep
16. don’t like to be cleaned
17. creatures of habit
19. need the MOST care out of ALL livestock
20. totally dependent of shepherd for every need
21. need “rod and staff” guidance – NEEDS TO BE FORCED BY SUFFERING

Does that sound like a LEADER AND SAVIOR? A sheep is a total meathead, is scared all the time, can’t defend itself from enemies, subject to the mob mentality (sound like any religious people we know), doesn’t want to be cleaned, can’t tell the difference between dirty or clean water, is perverse and will eat poisonous things, and if it lands on its back, IT CAN’T GET BACK UP!

Wake up call people… The Lamb and the Lion lying down together is not some great beautiful picture of peace, it is an allegory of how all the ENEMIES (egotistical natures in man) of GOD will not be able to hurt those enlightened to the truth. OF COURSE THE LION, WOLF, BEAR, SNAKE, AND LAMB hang together, they are meant for each other, because they are all FALSE IDENTITIES in MANKIND.

Don’t believe me, look at this verse carefully.

Isaiah 11
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. 7And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. 9They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Read that again, scripture states the LAMB SHALL NO LONGER HURT OR DESTROY those in God’s holy mountain…. I know right? Crazy!

Think about it, being a fearful, ignorant, helpless lamb is more damaging to the Kingdom of God then anything. The animals we find here are all symbols of natures in mankind. The GOOD NEWS IS, one day, these natures will not hurt GOD’S PEOPLE… why you ask? BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD!

Let’s take another look at the LION and LAMB, and how the Lamb and Lion story is not some beautiful story about everyone getting along, but about how once people come to the knowledge of the truth these perverse natures within us, will be a thing of the past… BECAUSE THEY WILL BE SACRIFICED AND KILLED OFF!

Isaiah 65
23They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. 24And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. 25The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

Once again, we see Isaiah quoting God as saying the LAMB WILL NO LONGER HURT OR DESTROY in my HOLY MOUNTAIN (which is of course our heart/mind) — God states hear, God is in control and things will be good, and we will suffer no more. NOT BECAUSE HE MURDERED A MAN NAMED JESUS, but because we SACRIFICED this LAMB NATURE to take away the SINS OF THE WORLD.

Think about it, what happened to be killed and utterly destroyed for the spirit of death to pass by in Egypt? THE LAMB! Then once that was done they were set free!

When John was pointing out the LAMB OF GOD that takes away the sins of the world, he was pointing out the OUTWARD MAN, that HAS TO BE SACRIFICED… As Jesus said, WE ARE CRUSIFIED WITH HIM, as Jesus said we must pick up our cross and follow him, we too as the LAMB OF GOD must enter that sheepgate to become the Shepherd of the sheep.

Sheep are not called into the Sheep Gate so a man named Jesus can take care of them… They are called into the Sheepgate to be slaughtered! That is what the Sheep gate is, it is where the Lambs/Sheep are brought to be sacrificed for the sins of the world.

We are as SHEEP lead to slaughter are we not? This is good news. We are led to a place where we can put the false nature/identity of who we think we are to death, and then we can be risen again into life. And what happens when we enter the sheep fold?

John 10
2But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

The Door is CHRIST, And when you enter into Christ the OLD MAN (LAMB) must die.

Hosea 4:16
For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place

Mankind has forgotten the truth of who they are, they have backslidden, and they have become (lambs) fearful, timid, dumb, perverse, etc etc…

Luke 10:3
Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

Now believe it or not, this really is great news for me and you. WE CAN’T FAIL! We will do as Israel did we will sacrifice that “lamb/sheep” nature, we will do as Jesus did, we will “sacrifice our lamb/sheep nature” and the instant we do so, we will be resurrected into the newness of LIFE. The LIFE that we left.

Isaiah 53
6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

If you have eyes to see it… this speaks of us, and the God within us… We are the Lambs/sheep that went astray, we have been oppressed, afflicted, we are brought as lamb’s to slaughter (thank God for this) we have been dumb as sheep, we have been taken from the prison and judgment of our ignorance, we were CUT OFF FROM THE LAND OF THE LIVING (enlightened), we made our grave with the wicked and rich in death (ignorance) and because of all of this, our TRUE NATURE (Christ in Us/God’s Holy Spirit) had to bear it all, as we bore it all… FOR WE ARE ONE PEOPLE AND WE WILL ALWAYS BE ONE!

I know this essay is a difficult one, and I myself am still learning, so ask and receive, seek and find, never take the word of Man, but go to God. I can only report what I believe to be true… the question is, “who will believe our report? To whom is the arm of the lord revealed?”

The Samaritan and the Thieves

This video centers around the story of the good Samaritan. I guarantee you have never heard it interpreted this way. But the “one” who fell upon thieves has more to do with most people going to religion for answers than it does some unlucky guy who got robbed and beat. I also touch on who and what the “god of this world” is, and for many it may come as a shock but it isn’t some spooky horned and tailed red monster from the movies. I haven’t been feeling well so I am going to be taking some time away from doing these soon until the surgery is over and I am healed up, but in the mean time I want to thank you all for your support, encouragement, and especially your views.

Present Suffering? – Video

We all go through hard times. Some worse than others, but pain is still pain. When we suffer it feels like there is not point. We have been told by many religious leaders that if we do what they say, follow their particular faith, give money, etc, that we will be free from illness, financial trouble, emotional distress, but this couldn’t be farther from the truth. And it is the TRUTH that sets you free. Whether it was Jesus crying for God to take his cup of suffering away, Paul who said, he would rather die than stay in the troubles of this world, King David who was constantly crying out for death and deliverence from his enemies and pain, Jonah who cried and prayed for deliverance from the belly of hell (The great fish/carnal imagination), the many barren women of scripture, Joseph who was beaten, thrown into the pit, made a slave, falsely accused, imprisoned, etc, we see a pattern of God’s chosen suffering. Yet, because of all they wen’t through many were brought to know the truth about God, and in the end they all realized “No present suffering could be compared” to the glory that was revealed because of it. Because of everything Joseph went through he was prepared to rule all of Egypt, and the same is true for us. We don’t know what tomorrow holds. But we do know that God is in control of it all. So every tear we cry, everytime scream, every heartbreak, every hard times has a place and a purpose. And when we understand that even our suffering has a purpose then we can embrace our cross knowing that our pain last for but a moment, but our purpose will stand for all of time. This video is a reminder of these things, I pray it gives you hope and regardless of what you are going through, you will understand these things aren’t happening TO YOU, they are happening FOR YOU! And in knowing this, you will overcome and walk in the excitement and hope of what is to come because of it all. Much love Jacob

No Suffering Compares To What Comes

We all go through hard times and when going through those hard times we wonder if any good will ever come of it. We at times feel like failures, like we have messed everything up, like we are worthless, at times we can feel that the decisions we make are poor ones and that if we were only stronger, wiser, or more compassionate we would have acted differently or done differently.

However, we never know what beautiful things can come out of our pain. Even when we believe we have made huge mistakes, or we feel we have let so many down by not acting a certain way or doing a certain thing, even when we feel like we have messed everything up for our lives and family, or even our pets, what we don’t always see is the miracle that comes out of it all. We can’t begin to comprehend the wonderful things that actually are birthed out of choices we have made that brought us many tears and heartache. This short essay is to show you, that even when you feel like a failure, like you have let everyone down, that the very thing you did that brought you so much pain was meant to be for the greater good.

One of the things that I constantly try to get across on this site is that God is in control. Not you, not your family, friends, or neighbors, God! That means that everything that is happening, regardless of whether or not we believe it is the right or wrong thing to do, is for the greater good. Because we know ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE THAT LOVE GOD.

So whether you have a relationship that has fallen apart, or you did something you thought was really dumb and it cost you your job, whether you have lost your temper or didn’t stand up for yourself, all of it has a purpose. The past is the foundation for the future. And whatever has happened, we must accept HAD TO HAPPEN for the good that will come out of it. EVEN IF YOU BELIEVE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE WAS SO WRONG. Even if you believe you have been treated wrong, raised wrong, abused, it all plays a part in bringing this perfect creation to its beautiful climatic end.

This is a hard lesson for all of us to learn. We have a knack for beating ourselves up again and again for what we perceive as our shortcomings or failures in our life. But as I stated before, we truly don’t know what comes out of such sufferings.

Romans 8:18

This will be my shortest essay to date. The reason is early this morning I got some news that soon brought tears of joy to my eyes. Months ago a decision had to be made about one of our dogs. His name was COOKIE. And I loved cookie. But Cookie was a bit nippy, and demanded so much attention, more than I alone could give him. The children couldn’t handle him, my wife was scared of him, and I alone just couldn’t take care of him, and my three children, career, house, bills, yard, other dog, cat, frog, and wife. Cookie became very difficult to manage. As hard as I tried, as much as I loved the dog, he was too much.

Now one thing I want you to know about me, is I believe in responsibility. Regardless if it is keeping your vows, staying faithful, being there for your children, meeting your work requirements, or in cookies case, never giving up on an animal you adopt. So when Cookie got nippy with one of my boys and caught his face with a tooth my wife said Cookie had to go. But I also knew Cookie had to go. I felt terrible, I felt like I was giving up on this poor animal, that I was a cop-out, that I was a man who couldn’t live up to the responsibilities of caring for the very animal I rescued.

So I began looking for shelters, and I found Kent Animal Shelter in Long Island, NY… It is a non kill shelter and rated as one of the best in NY. It just so happened they had one spot. Now cookie was half American Bull dog and Half Pit, and he was a beast of a dog. BUT SUCH A MOOSH! I worried because of his size and hyper nature that they wouldn’t take him. But I worried more that they would. I prayed on my way there, that if I am meant to keep this animal that they will not take him, and if I am not they will.

I arrived and at first it looked liked it wasn’t going to happen. But soon the love of Cookie won them over. He past all the tests, I signed the papers, made a contribution and drove away in tears. I cried hysterically, feeling like a failure, like a loser. I felt like I had given up on one of my children and that I was like those people who adopt animals and when things get hard they just get rid of them like they are disposable. I felt like I had let everyone down, a feeling I get quite a lot.

I prayed that Cookie would be adopted quickly by a wonderful family and they Cookie would be happier than ever before. But for days I walked around feeling like a total loser. I imagined Cookie alone in the corner of one of their pens crying for me, shivering, or starving himself. It was horrible.

I soon learned it really was the best thing for the house, our other dog Daisy was now getting more love than ever before, the house was cute, things weren’t getting broken, and I wasn’t constantly having to run downstairs, or outside to see his demands were met. Even though I now felt like it was the right thing for my family and home, I still couldn’t shake the feeling that I just gave up on this animal.

Now when I say that I am very hard on myself, that puts it lightly. I am a deep thinker, and even though I intellectually know everything is as it is meant to be, I don’t always remember to practice what I preach. So for months I suffered, less and less as time past. But every time I saw a cookie or an old picture of my dog that pain came right back. “WHAT A FAILURE I WAS! WHAT A LOSER! HOW COULD I DO SUCH A THING TO SUCH A WONDERFUL ANIMAL?”

Well this morning early a miracle came to me. I received a phone call. My dear friend Donna saw a picture of Cookie on Kent’s blog. I couldn’t believe it!

She went on to tell me. That Cookie was adopted by a trainer who trains animals to help disabled vets, blind, lame, sick, and more. My Cookie! The dog that I thought I was giving up on, was actually meant for a greater purpose than simply bringing my family enjoyment and craziness. Cookie was meant to lead the blind, the lame, the sick, and more. MY DOG!

My smile, which is still on my face hasn’t been this big in a while. So I immediately went to their website, looked it up and there was Cookie giving the trainer a big old kiss, and a wonderful article. MY DOG IS GOING TO BE A HEALER, A GUIDE, AND A HELPER! A purpose far greater than I could have ever given him.

In that moment, I realized all of the waisted energy I had spent. All the times I beat myself up and put myself down, thinking I had done wrong. When in fact, if I could have seen what was to come of Cookie, I would have handed that dog over proudly! You see Cookie was meant for greater things, as we all are. We never believe we can do more, or be more, than we believe ourselves to be. We so often think that things we do are huge mistakes, when in fact if we did not make them we would never be able to go to where God is bringing us all.

We must not be like I was when it came to giving Cookie away. We must accept things as they are, because they are meant to be as they are. And even though we may suffer, even though we may feel like failures and losers, NOTHING CAN COMPARE TO THE GLORY THAT WILL BE REVEALED when all the dust has settled and we see that there truly was no other way for us to enter into the promise God has waiting for us. So as you read this article on my Dog Cookie, remember just because we think we have failed or done wrong by our loved ones, if it wasn’t for those actions the purpose of God in their lives and ours would never be met. So we must learn to rejoice, even in the things that we believe were our greatest mistakes. We must learn to forgive ourselves, and trust that if God wanted anything in our past to be different it would be different. And we must walk into the moment, proud, head held high, seeing ourselves the way God sees us. Because we never know that even our greatest mistakes may have been our greatest contributions to the world and our own lives. We must always remember, keep close to our hearts, and be quick to speak from our lips, that GOD IN IN CONTROL, SO REST!

When we enter that rest nothing will matter, no pain will be too great, no challenge beyond our reach, and victory will be shouted and experienced in every area of our lives. So, let yourself off the hook and go with the flow. And trust me when I say, when you know this experientially it will change everything for you, and it will indeed set you free. Enjoy the article, and wonderful allegory of my Dog cookie who I now know I didn’t give up on, but I simply prepared to be a dog that could go on and change or even save the life of countless people hurting today.

All they can be… Kent dogs drafted to help wounded vets

March 21st, 2011 Blindness, amputated limbs, spinal injuries, traumatic brain injuries, post traumatic stress disorder—these are just a few of the serious, life-changing injuries that soldiers are returning home with. The physical and emotional challenges these men and women face in recovery and adjusting back to civilian life can be… overwhelming.

A group called Vets Helping Heroes is providing something special to these wounded returning vets: service dogs and guide dogs. With training, dogs can help veterans live again with dignity and self-reliance. They can guide or provide balance for added mobility. In the event of danger or a medical emergency, such as a seizure or fall, they can sound the alert. They can retrieve or carry objects. And last but not least, they can be a friend and constant companion.

This week, a retired veteran named Michael Sergeant of Vets Helping Heroes adopted three dogs from Kent Animal Shelter to be trained to help wounded vets. Here is Mr. Sergeant with one of the dogs, Cookie.

DON’T FALL AMONG THIEVES

In study, the other night, I was reading Luke’s Gospel and remembered a certain verse that was quickened (saw clearly the meaning of) to me some years ago. It dealt with the story of the Man who fell among thieves. Jesus used this story to picture who “our Neighbor” was.

Years ago, when I read this story I thought it was pretty cut and dry. Some guy comes up to Jesus and says, “Hey, what do I have to do to inherit eternal life.” Jesus says, “What do you think? What does the Law say?” The guy responds, “Love God, and Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Simple right? Well, no… Because, then the guy goes onto justify himself by asking, “And just whoooooo, is my neighbor?”

Now, Jesus could have said, “Are you kidding me lawyer Man? Look around you, everyone you see is your neighbor.” However, he didn’t. In typical Jesus form, he started in with his parables… I always thought Jesus would have made an excellent elementary school teacher, as he taught things so simply using these wonderful word pictures, and stories, to make his point. A child could understand, but not us smarty pants religious adults. I, too, find myself saying, after looking at a particular verse… “Master, what dost thou meanest?” Believe it or not, that is EXACTLY how I ask… Because I like to get my old English freak on when dealing the things of the God. You can thank Mr. King James for that.

Okay, enough of the silly talk… back to the point of this essay/parable. Which is easy to understand, if you understand that it’s a parable, not so simple, if you think it be literal.

In many cases, the problem is, over the years, mankind has begun to think these stories to be literally true. In fact, a majority of scripture is looked at this way, even though Jesus taught the kingdom if a mystery, and mysteries need to be uncovered. Come on Nancy Drew Keep up!

In fact, in many parables Jesus gives, describing the kingdom, it is HIDDEN. “Treasure hidden in a field” “Seed hidden in the ground” “Leaven hidden in meal”

What I am getting at here is not everything is so cut and dry. Not everything is understood by a literal reading of it.

I often use the story of the boy who cried wolf as an example of what these parables are like. If the story is taken literally then the meaning and message is lost. It become a tragic tale of some kid eaten by a wolf… But when it is understood allegorically, the reader knows that exaggerating and lying can get you in BIG trouble… The same is true for every parable Jesus spoke.

He said to his disciples (those being taught by the WORD/truth) – “Unto YOU it is given to KNOW the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. Unto them that are without… ALL THINGS ARE DONE IN PARABLE.” <-

Mind you scripture does not say, Jesus spoke SOME THINGS in parable … Scripture states to the masses Jesus ONLY spoke in parable. (NOT LITERALLY, a story that must be spiritually discerned, a story that uses symbols to get across a point, a story that can only be understood by revelation. Which is the revealed meaning of the hidden truth inside the parable.) And Jesus ONLY spoke to the masses in parable.

Matthew 13:34
All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them

Why did he do this?

Matthew 13:13
Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

He spoke in Parable – WHICH IS WHY WE CANNOT TAKE EVERYTHING LITERALLY PEOPLE! The Letter (which means literal understanding) KILLS (makes you ignorant). You see Jesus spoke in Parable so that people would not rely on their understanding, the meaning would have to come like lightning from heaven (insight/revelation within). For years you may not understand something, and then in an instant the truth and meaning floods your thoughts. This is expressed perfectly in the nest passage where we see, Jesus having to expound these things he spoke (parables) to his disciples.

Mark 4:34
But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples

Notice the words, when they were ALONE. Now follow me, if Christ is IN you, this is the hope of Glory. That means that WITHIN YOU the spirit of Wisdom and Power (which is Christ) will expound the meaning of these things to you. And then after going up that ladder to heaven, you can then come down again and express what you have learned to those around you, and those with ears to hear will hear. And usually those that hear (understand) are those that are in his BOSOM (AN ALLEGORY for instruction/nursing/teaching).

Mark 4:11
And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables

Basically, Jesus is saying, those that know the Truth will see (understand the HEART of these allegorical tales and be set free. But those who do not know the TRUTH (Christ REVEALS) will see only the literal story. And in HEARING they will not hear, and in SEEING they will not see.

The problem arises when the story becomes the important part, as opposed to the heart of the story which is WHAT THE PARABLE IS ABOUT. We need to LOOK TO THE HEART of things as God looks to the HEART of us all. If looked to the outward man (how we act, what we do) and not to the inward man (who we truly are) God would see a hot mess in his creation, but God looks to the heart, he looks to the TRUTH within the PARABLE that is US.

Okay, that being said and done… Let’s dig into this parable of the good Samaritan. Because there is something more for us to learn from it, when the eyes of our understanding can SEE IT.

Luke 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbor?

What a weird question, don’t you think? Shouldn’t it be obvious? Well, no! First, consider who is asking the question.

Luke 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and TEMPTED him

This was NOT a sincere question from a sincere man. He was TEMPTING HIM. Which means, he was trying to discredit and open the door for Jesus to sin (THINK AND ACT FOOLISHLY). As we know, “when we are tempted we are drawn away by our own lusts.” This insincere man was also trying to justify himself, which simply means, he wanted to prove he was right and Jesus was wrong.

The LAWYERS of the day, weren’t known for their sincerity in the faith. In fact quite the opposite. They were known as people who used the scriptures as a bat and not a shepherd’s staff. Know some people like that? People who always have to be right and will throw one scripture out after another to prove that our God is not a God of Love.

Luke 7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyers REJECTED the counsel of God.

You see the Lawyers of that day, and the people who use the scriptures as a way to justify themselves and beat down everyone else, especially those that are unique and different, REJECT THE COUNSEL OF GOD. Which is to LOVE OTHERS AS YOURSELF, DO GOOD UNTO OTHERS, DO TO OTHERS AS YOU WANT DONE TO YOURSELF.

The Lawyers are a parabolic picture of those, who study the LETTER of the LAW and condemn those on every single point yet they themselves refuse the TRUTH OF GOD. Could the same be said for many calling themselves men and women of God today? I sadly would have to say yes.

The Lawyers are a picture of the Religious Elite who consider themselves beyond reproach because of their scrutinizing study of the mosaic Law. We have lots of them today, with their “the bible says this”, and “the bible LITERALLY says that”, and yet they don’t have the first inkling of what God is speaking through these scriptures.

John 5:39
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me

Many today don’t understand the Spirit of the scriptures which should come alive with revelation when read. Instead, they rely on the dead letter (literal) of the scriptures, which they use to condemn and justify themselves as authorities on the things of God. Much like our lawyer in the Samaritan story.

As an author, I am sad when I see this. Let’s put aside the majority of evidence in scripture that gives each of us the keys to understanding the scriptures. Let’s put aside the fact that the scriptures states clearly “God opens his mouth in parable, in dark sayings” “That it is the glory of God to CONCEAL a thing”, And Christ (The power and wisdom of God) COMES (is revealed) in the Glory of God (The hidden parable of scripture and our waking life).

In my novel, “The Calling”, I tell a thrilling story about a boy who was purposed to change the world from birth, as we are all purposed from birth. His life becomes incredibly difficult. Now, THE CALLING is a great book, but this FICTION is not meant to be taken LITERALLY… IT IS AN ALLEGORY! On one level we see a Child who suffers abuse and hardship and we follow him on a fantastic journey that brings the world hope. But on another level, a deeper level, everything is speaking of something spiritual. And only a few will see the deeper meaning of what is written, because like the scriptures I prayed to write a novel that would also need to be spiritually discerned. Hey that is what book clubs are all about, finding out what the author is REALLY TRYING TO SAY! And the scriptures are no different.

However, regardless of how clever the story telling in the The Calling is, regardless of how believable it seems to be, it is simply an allegory that I hope further a persons spiritual journey. The Calling is not a true story, sure most of it is based on aspects of my life but it is NOT A TRUE STORY that is meant to be taken literally. It is an ALLEGORY.

But consider this, what if thousands of years go by, and someone finds this book and starts teaching that all of it literally happened (which it didn’t). Then everyone will focus on the fantastic elements of the books as literal and miss the fantastic TRUTH that is ONLY UNDERSTOOD by moving past what seemed to literally happen to what REALLY MATTERS!

I don’t know about you but I want LIFE not DEATH. I want REVELATION not Regurgitation.

Back to the LAWYER… I want to point out that studying the scriptures as well as other holy books is great, but no amount of study MAKES YOU GOD’S CHILD. We are justified by our Faith, like Abraham was, not by how many scriptures we can quote.

The Lawyers of Jesus day were known for being cruel and judgmental, so Jesus knew the intent of this Lawyers heart.

The man asking Jesus, “what shall I do to inherit eternal life” … was TEMPTING HIM. He didn’t want to know the truth. He simply was testing Christ’s knowledge… He was putting Jesus on the spot. How many put us on the spot for our beliefs? They don’t really want to know what we believe to be true they want to find a crack in our beliefs to wiggle in and exploit. They want to prove us wrong, so they can prove to themselves and others they are right.

And yes, this is what has become of religion today, a bunch of people running around looking for who is with them, and condemning anyone who sees things differently. Well, I for one don’t mind being condemned if what God is revealing to me is foreign to what the local church, mosque, or kingdom hall is teaching. What about you? Do you want more than Religion? Do you want the know the Truth of God no matter what the cost? Then to do this, you need to SEEK AND FIND, and when you SEEK AND FIND as the Gospel of Thomas states, you will be disturbed. Because everything you thought you knew was never true. And like Paul, when the revelation of Christ came you too, will become BLIND (meaning you will realize you know nothing about God) and you will need to be led by a child and restored by those who God sends your way, or restored by allowing what God is revealing to you to reside in your thoughts. And when that happens you will get rid of everything that you once held dear, you will empty that ship because you know you only need Christ.

Matthew 13:44
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field

So when the lawyer tempted Jesus, in typical Messiah fashion, Jesus flipped the switch quick on him.

“He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?”

Christ was appealing to the man’s vanity. He knew the Lawyer believed he had the answers, he knew the Lawyer couldn’t WAIT to tell Jesus how everyone needs to WORK THEIR WAY TO ETERNAL LIFE…. WORKS, phewy!

And when the Lawyer answered, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.”

Jesus said, “You answered right. Do this and LIVE”. Notice Jesus didn’t say, “do this and have eternal life” – There is a good reason. Because ETERNAL LIFE is NOT what most think it to be.

Many believe Eternal Life is playing shuffle board in Heaven with the saints and Patriarchs and eating all the ice cream and fried oreo cookies they want without ever putting on a pound. (That does sound good, I have to admit) However, THAT IS NOT ETERNAL LIFE!

The Lawyer wanted to know what to do, TO HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. Jesus said, you answered right DO THAT AND LIVE.

ETERNAL LIFE = TO LIVE

And the ONLY WAY to truly LIVE is to know God and the TRUTH! We are LITERALLY told what Eternal life is, in John.

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

ETERNAL LIFE is to KNOW GOD and CHRIST. There it is, in Black and White. And To know this, you MUST LOVE GOD and LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR as yourself. That alone is a revelation… For if you want to KNOW GOD and CHRIST you need only LOVE GOD and your NEIGHBOR. That is a HUGE TRUTH if you can see it… hope you can. If not, no worries, I’ll have some seven page paper on what that means soon I’m sure. 🙂

Jesus is the RESURRECTION and the LIFE, if you BELIEVE on CHRIST (God’s wisdom and power) even though you were DEAD (Ignorant/carnal) you shall LIVE (Be enlightened)

John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in (For/Unto) me, though he were dead, yet shall he live

And if I have said it once, it isn’t enough. It isn’t about believing in a literal man from thousands of years ago, it is believing as HE believes. It is believing IN (which means literally UNTO or FOR) him. You need to come to stature of the perfect man, and full understanding as Jesus had. You need to come to the unity of the faith.

Ephesians 4:13
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ

But listening to the LAWYERS of Jesus’ day or today, won’t bring you there. Religious pride and arrogance and bias won’t help you LIVE. In fact, quite the opposite. If someone has the “it’s my way or the highway” mentality, you will never be free. You will be BOUND BY THEIR CHAINS. You will be YOLKED by their ignorance and abuse.

2 Corinthians 6:14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

You know very well that if your beliefs don’t line up with an “unbelievers” particular beliefs they will condemn you for it. Not exactly what everyone should get when looking for peace in their life, huh?

You see, this LAWYER didn’t really want to know Eternal Life (God and Christ) he wanted to discredit Jesus. That was his motive.

Jesus then goes on to tell a story, about who is your NEIGHBOR. This ain’t no Mr. Rogers were talking about… this is JESUS people, so Listen up!

Luke 10:30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

You got to love how Jesus always starts his parable off with “a certain man” –

The reason, is that CERTAIN MAN is EVERY MAN/WOMAN – it is no one in particular and everyone in particular.

Now, upon a simple reading of this you would think this story is about some poor guy who got robbed and only one person helped him. But like I stated earlier, not everything is as it literally seems.

This parable has more to do with FAITH and BELIEF than it has to do with literally being robbed. So, let’s tear these scriptures apart and SEE (understand) what is REALLY going on.

Luke 10:30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves.

We can learn something from the description of where this “certain man” left, Jerusalem, which in HEBREW means “Teaching of PEACE”.

So this “certain man” left the “TEACHING OF PEACE “(Jerusalem) to go to Jericho, which means “It’s MOON” – Symbolic of the FALSE LIGHT. The MOON is symbolic of MAN’S SOUL as it simply REFLECTS the SON/SUN. The MOON is not the SOURCE of LIGHT (Truth) it is a very dim reflection of it.

The SUN is to the SON as the Moon is to MANS WAYS/TEACHING.

This is interesting to note because this CERTAIN MAN left JERUSALEM to go to JERICHO… This certain man LEFT THE TEACHING OF PEACE for the FALSE LIGHT. And this is what so many people are ignorantly doing. God wakes them up inside, they want to know God, and unfortunately they leave what is being taught within and go to “religion”. AND THEY GET ROBBED AND BEATEN AND ABUSED FOR IT!

Been there, done that myself.

This is allegorical of MANKIND leaving the TRUTH of God for the IMITATION/Religion – BADDDDD RELIGION…. And yes, most of us do this very same thing. I did it, you probably did it, or you are doing it now.

Oh, I know what you’re saying, “That’s a stretch, Jacob.. Jerusalem and Jericho are literal places, the meaning of their names isn’t significant at all… YOUR CRAZZZZZZY!… CRAZY LIKE CHRIST I SAY!

I would have used Fox, but you know, them foxes (religious/political leaders-look it up) always spoiling the vine and such… Anyway, regardless of what your thinking about the names of those places and their meanings follow this paper and see if the meanings of these names be what they be.

Lets look at the next line…

Luke 10:30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves.

This CERTAIN MAN left Jerusalem for Jericho and fell among THIEVES. Oh, sure you could say that he was just robbed literally… BUT, THAT DOESN’T HELP YOU SPIRITUALLY DOES IT?

Our literal possessions don’t matter to God or Christ.

Matthew 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt…

Jesus is TEACHING about how to inherit ETERNAL LIFE not about how to avoid getting robbed or some self-defense technique… I think Peter had some kind of Karate class going on with Paul for a while, but they never agreed on whether the pork dumplings and stir fry was acceptable for end of the year Karate Mixer… <-insert laugh here for bad apostolic joke.

As I said earlier, this is a story of “MANKIND” leaving THE TEACHING OF PEACE (Jerusalem) for MAN’S TEACHINGS (The Moon/Jericho).

Now we know, there is only ONE WAY to find the FATHER and that is THROUGH THE SON. This is what Jesus is telling the lawyer. He is actually showing the lawyer that the LAWYER was a THIEF to begin with.

Of course the Lawyers and Pharisees of the world could never see this because they are too busy keeping people from the Kingdom. That was their thing, all about straining for gnats and swallowing camels… Hazing was NUTS back in the day! 🙂

So, let’s say I’m right… That this story is about Mankind leaving the TRUTH for MAN’S TEACHINGS and getting robbed spiritually… If this be so, who then are the THIEVES?

Well, Jesus tells us…

John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

Look at that, Jesus says THOSE THAT TRY and ENTER THE KINGDOM ANY OTHER WAY than HIM… Is a THIEF AND A ROBBER.

Isn’t that something? This paper is about MANKIND leaving GOD’S TRUTH for MAN’S LIES and they FALL AMONG THIEVES… and Jesus says, the thieves are liars who promise entrance into the Kingdom another way, without CHRIST, without the TRUTH.

Now, let me just point out. Just because you “Literally” say “Jesus is your Lord and Savior” and go to church every Sunday and read your bible and pray… that DOES NOT MEAN you worship GOD. Don’t get angry, these aren’t my words… Take it up with the Lord!

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

That means a literal belief in a literal Man is not having the TRUTH. The hope of Glory if CHRIST IN YOU. Salvation is believing on his name (nature) … Salvation is UNDERSTANDING THE TRUTH about God.

There are hundreds of denominations in Christianity that claim Jesus as their Lord and Savior, who are as lost as those who worship the bark off a tree. This is why we MUST ask God, “Teach me the Truth, no matter what the cost” and daily seek His Face (NOT LITERALLY HIS FACE… COME ON PEOPLE :). To seek God’s face, is to RECOGNIZE the TRUTH.

And when we SEEK GOD, we MUST get rid of EVERY THING else we have held unto and believed to be true, that was not TRUE. We must let go of everything man has taught us, for what the Holy Spirit WITHIN US teaches us. Time to lets those Idols go; but not American Idol’s come on, it’s the only show the whole family agrees on. And now that Paula and Simon are gone, perhaps it’s time for us to move on.

SO, to be saved we HAVE TO LET GO OF ANY THING THAT IS NOT TRUE. We must be purged of the OLD MAN, the OLD THINKING, WE MUST PUT ON THE MIND OF CHRIST, and get rid of everything else.

We saw how Paul had those on his Prison Ship get rid of everything in the boat that was WEIGHING them down so the STORM would not overtake them. A perfect picture of how we have to get rid of all the lies we have believed over the years and allow Christ the TRUTH to set us free.

But back to our story here.

Luke 10:30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves.

You see, when we first enter religion… many of us, fall among THIEVES. We enter in thinking we will get closer to God but these so-called Teachers end up stealing from us. They rob us of so much, our spirit, our finances, our friends, our fun, our routines, like the FROGS that plagued Egypt (if you have eyes to see this) these CROAKING RELIGIOUS LEADERS get into everything, our food, our bedroom, every aspect of our lives these Religious Leaders try to control. This is what Jesus’ parable is about, Bad Religion.

Let’s go to rest of this verse.

…which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead

RAIMENT is a key word here people… Once again, we are not talking about some real life thugs robbing a guy and stealing his clothes. No, we are talking about a covering, “spiritual Raiment” – and all we need to do is go to scripture to find out what it really is.

Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment;

RAIMENT is another word for clothes. Clothes we put on and take off. God clothes us with TRUTH and HUMILITY.

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

You see, here is another allegory for us to uncover. Many people, wanting to have a relationship with God, ignorantly leave Godly beliefs like humility, acceptance, forgiveness, for the love for Religious pride, condemnation, judgment, and more.

So, this “Certain Man” went to Religion to find God and ended up being robbed and stripped of every good thought he had when he was in JERUSALEM (the teaching of peace)

These Thieves are bad, bad, bad, RELIGIOUS leaders, who lure you in and take, take, take from you. And they leave you HALF DEAD (Carnal and ignorant) – As the LAWYER in this story, most certainly did on a regular basis.

Whenever you leave the TRUTH OF GOD for the WAYS OF MAN, you will always find some Thief waiting to rob you.

This puts a whole new spin, however on the crucifixion. As Christ was right there IN BETWEEN TWO THIEVES…

You see, even the THIEVES can repent and find their dwelling in paradise in Christ.

Moving on:

“And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.”

By now, you should understand why the Priest and Levite passed the robbed, naked, beaten, half dead man on the other side. They weren’t going to help this “certain man” at all. For they were THIEVES themselves. If however, the man had something to OFFER THEM, they would… But at this point, he had nothing.

Bad Religious Leaders cannot help those abused by other Bad Religious Leaders. The Priest and Levite, claimed the things of God, claimed to know God, but ignored the hurt member of their faith. They can’t see the pain bad religion causes, they can’t see the damage they are doing to their blind flock. Because they are blind themselves.

Jesus said, when I was naked you DID NOT clothe me. This is a picture of the BODY OF CHRIST, being robbed of the TRUTH of God they should be CLOTHED IN!

WISDOM is what the half dead need. And this parable speaks it clearly.

“But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.”

This is the NEIGHBOR who we must LOVE AS OURSELVES. Those being abused and robbed of the TRUTH in BAD RELIGION. And that pretty much sums up everyone, from every faith, and those without faith, bad religion has robbed the world blind!

We, are to be like the SAMARITAN which comes from the Hebrew ROOT word “GUARDIANSHIP” – We appear to the Lawyers and Pharisees of the world as “Heretics” who don’t know the God of the Hebrews, but a TREE IF KNOWN BY ITS FRUIT… And this SAMARITAN fruit was SWEET.

We are to be the GUARDIANS of the day. We are to be the bringer of LIGHT, if CHRIST be in us. There are many hurting today, many that Religion has robbed and abused, WE MUST PICK UP THE PIECES FOR THEM WITH LOVE.

The word COMPASSION, means to SUFFER WITH. We MUST ANSWER their SUFFERING and BIND UP THEIR WOUNDS.

How do we do it? You ask.

WITH OIL AND WINE! – Yes, this is another allegory. Of course, Neosporin would help a healing wound better than oil and wine, so we must see what is truly being USED TO HEAL here.

OIL is a symbol. It is used on the sick and used to anoint Kings. First consider how oil is made, it is the ESSENCE of the OLIVE, and our symbolic “OIL” that WE must pour out is the ESSENCE of CHRIST, which is TRUTH/WISDOM.

OIL is a symbol for WISDOM.

Psalm 104:15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart.

OIL makes a face SHINE …Want to see what else causes a man’s face to shine?


Ecclesiastes 8:1 Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine,

WISDOM makes a face to SHINE.

This puts a whole new spin on why Moses’ face was shining after coming down from the mountain of God. And why Jesus’ face was shining on the Mount of Transfiguration. WISDOM IS THE KEY, A TREE OF LIFE, OF ALL THERE IS TO GET, GET WISDOM! 🙂

OIL = WISDOM

WINE = SPIRIT OF TRUTH

This is what we use to heal the wounds of those who have fallen among THIEVES (those who try to enter the Kingdom any other way than Christ)

When BAD RELIGION steals, we BIND UP.

When they are left NAKED, we CLOTHE THEM with the WISDOM OF THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH!

This is what it means, to LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. Now go and do likewise, as the J-man says!

1 Corinthians 1:27
“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;”

IT’S BENEATH YOU!

John 8:32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

So what does the “TRUTH” set us free from? You ask.

The answer is free from every bit of pain and suffering in your life, free from wondering “why me?” all the time. Free from the belief that you have no reason to have hope, that things will never get better, or that things are as good as they are ever going to get. The Truth sets you free to finally LIVE YOUR LIFE, because it is the TRUTH that shows you WHO YOU TRULY ARE! And until you know who you REALLY ARE, you cannot ever be FREE TO BE YOU!

Now, by the end of this essay you won’t be able to flip the proverbial switch and finally stop sweating the small and big stuff, but what I pray it does do is open your eyes to the possibilities that are before us all. I pray it will change the way you look at the trials in your life, and in so doing your reactions to these trials will change. I pray it will send you on your way to thinking differently, which in turn will help you live differently. Because I know the longer you live with a renewed mind the easier and more enjoyable life will become.

Listen there is no quick fix to the trials we face in life. The truth is, as you will see by the end of this essay, it is these very trials and hurts that are healing us.

As I said, there is no quick fix. For those that say, come to this place, meet with this guru, get touched by this healer and everything will be perfect, you need to know they are either complete liars or they are simply ignorant.

1 Peter 4:13
But rejoice, in as much as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy

We will have hard times, we will be tested, we will be brought through the fire, we may even at times wish we could just put our lives to an end (even though we’d just have to go through it all over again :))

The fact of the matter is we will, as the scripture states, have suffering in this world…

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world

We are told people will come against us, disappoint us and hurt us. And in turn we too may do the same. We may come against people or have, we may hurt people or have, we may disappoint people or have. I have often written about how, what we do to one we do to ourselves. So long as people in the world suffer, we will suffer with them.

1 Corinthians 12:25-27
25That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. 27Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular

We go through life thinking we are alone. But God said it is not good for man to be alone. And the only way we can be free from this loneliness is to care for one another. A sense of community only comes when you commune with each other.

NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE is free from the sufferings of this present time. The good news is WE WILL OVERCOME!

There are times I lose faith when I should be holding onto faith. There are times I lose heart when my heart should be full! There are times I lose HOPE and it is HOPE THAT SAVES US, as you will soon learn. This is why I hope this article will give every one of you that hope, hope that I too need to constantly remind myself of.

Because yes, I too suffer, I too have terribly hard times, I too have people tearing me down, betraying me, I too at times feel like none of this is worth it, I too lose my temper, I too cry, I too say bad words that I wish I could take back, as the apostle Paul said, sometimes I do the things I hate, and the things I want to do when hard times come my way I can’t and don’t.

Romans 7
18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

If you’ve read my articles enough by now you know the FLESH is not our literal “epidermis or skin”. The Flesh is our ignorance, our “carnal mind”.

Notice Paul didn’t say, “I know that ON ME (that is, my flesh)” – He wrote “I know that IN ME” – inside each of us is a lifetime of insecurities, fears, and yes basic “fight or flight” animal instinct. But this is not has it always was for us. It is simply the state we find ourselves in now. The good news is we are ever evolving into a more complex spiritual being, one that puts away the lusts of this beastly nature and chooses the path of peace, love, and acceptance (The only way to have the same in your life).

We are in the process of putting to death all of our fears and insecurities for the peace, power, and sound mind that is our inheritance. In other words we are in process of becoming the PERFECT MAN = CHRIST!

Ephesians 4:13
Untiil we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ

Now this is the best news anyone can share. We will ALL come to the UNITY OF THE FAITH, we will ALL come to the KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD… it’s important to note this doesn’t mean we will know A SON OF GOD names Jesus, but we will come to the very same knowledge of the SON OF GOD, for that is who we will be. But more on that later.

Now the very next piece of this scripture, “unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” – What this means people is WE ALL will OVERCOME! This is the message of the TRUE GOSPEL. Not the candy coated gospel they teach in many churches today which says all you have to do is come down to an altar confess the name of Jesus, a man from two thousand years ago, recite a phrase just right, and then WHAMO YOU’RE SAVED! Oh how I wish it were that simple.

I have news for you that isn’t the way to freedom. Sure for many it is first step, it was for me. And for many it is an important first step. You gotta fake it till you make it I suppose LOL… Actually, you have to first learn the story to then understand the allegory of the story, to then understand that story is actually YOUR STORY AS WELL! And when you get to that final step, then you know salvation. Then, regardless of what happens in the world to you, you’ll understand it is all part of the plan.

Look, salvation is not reciting a prayer and then going back to a miserable life. Salvation is knowing LIFE! And life more abundantly! That is what salvation is and the only way to know this is to come to the UNITY OF THE FAITH AND THE STATURE OF THE PERFECT MAN!

Now for those who are going to absolutely disagree with me, and say, “NO! All you have to do is accept Jesus into your heart and you are saved!” I say, get a grip on what you are teaching and learning. You see the worst part about the salvation they are selling today is all about the future. That’s right, forget being saved from the cares of this world and the pain of your life, no, this salvation doesn’t free you from that. This salvation the religions of the world teach is NOT for the here and now, it is for the future.

They teach, if you don’t do this or that, you are doomed to an infinite place of torture. (Which by the way doesn’t exist see my article “to hell with hell” and “the Lake of Fire”).

But let me tell you the truth very clearly. Let me tell you what salvation is. It is being SAVED from yourself and the pain and suffering in the here and now! A person starving doesn’t need food after he dies, he needs food NOW! A sick man doesn’t need medicine after he dies, he needs the cure now! THAT IS SALVATION AND THE GOOD NEWS IS IT IS HERE FOR US ALL!

Luke 19
9And Jesus said unto him, This DAY is SALVATION come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

When Jesus came into Zacchaeus’ house, Zacchaeus started to justify all that he did. He said I give half my goods to the poor, I do this Jesus, I do that… Jesus didn’t say. HEY IT’S A GOOD THING YOU DID! No! Jesus simply said, THIS DAY salvation is come (which means REVEALED) – this day SALVATION is REVEALED to you.

The scriptures are such a wonderful allegory. Zacchaeus was a man who was called “LITTLE OF STATURE” and how many of us don’t feel worthy, how many of us feel SHORT OF STATURE (standing). How many of us right now, just want peace, and feel unworthy of it?

Zacchaeus was what many in that day considered a sinner, not worthy of such salvation. He was a publican and they were despized. Worse still, Zacchaeus was chief of the publicans (which is basically a tax collector for those that don’t know). But Zacchaeus was tired of trying so hard to find salvation, he was tired of suffering, he just wanted CHRIST!

Now see the beautiful allegory here. He ran ahead of those standing in his way, he passed all of those who wouldn’t let him through, and he CLIMBED THE TREE to SEE his salvation. What a great parable. We must CLIMB the tree of life to find life, and because he did this, he found what he was looking for. SALVATION!

Now this salvation had NOTHING to do with the afterlife it had to do with the MOMENT! This is what we are also crying out for, isn’t it? Do we really want security in the future, or so we want security and peace NOW?

We want what Zaccheus wanted, SALVATION in the here and now. We want peace, we want victory, we want OUT of the pain we are feeling. And to find this we MUST CLIMB THE TREE! We must run ahead of all those people standing in our way, as Zacchaeus did, we must leave all those KEEPING US from salvation behind us and we MUST CLIMB THE TREE that is within us. And when we do this we who have been living a life of DEATH (pain, suffering, ignorance, strife,) will finally know LIFE!

John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live

Now I want to point something out here that will make many trapped in religion cringe. The scripture above states, “He that believes IN me” – which would lead many to believe we MUST BELIEVE IN a single man from two thousand years ago. HOWEVER, that is NOT what that scripture literally means.

The word “IN” in Greek – (eiÎv) is properly translated as FOR. Like you are waiting for, looking for, or someone is wanted for something. So with that in mind this scripture takes on a whole new meaning. WATCH!

Picture Jesus standing in front of you, enlightened knowing the truth about God, knowing there is a plan. Now you on the other hand are hurting and weak, wanting desperately to have what this man seems to have… And he says, “Those that BELIEVE FOR ME!” – This is a hard thing to grasp because it’s not about believing IN something outside of you, or waiting for something to come to save you as Martha believed when she said, “I know Lazarus will rise on the last day.” No! This, which is a commonly held and taught belief today that everything is about the hereafter instead of the here and now has nothing to do with believing FOR SOMETHING, UNTO SOMETHING, BECOMING SOMETHING…

So when Martha says that, how does Jesus reply? Does he say, yes Martha you are right. This man cannot live, we must wait and wait and wait. NO! Jesus says, those that BELIEVE FOR ME, even though they are dead (suffering/hurt/ignorant), they will LIVE!

Okay, still didn’t catch that? Let me put it another way. “Those that believe they can be as I am in this world shall live.” Those that believe FOR ME! Not IN me, FOR ME! I don’t work in a paycheck, I work FOR a paycheck. I don’t believe I can write so I can be IN a writer, I believe I can write so I can be a writer.

I know this is a taboo subject for many. For many, the man/prophet Jesus is a Golden Calf, not to be touched, not to be obtained, only to be worshipped.

Yet, Jesus clearly said, there is only one way, I AM THE WAY!

He is not saying you can get salvation by believing that one man is the way, he is saying, the only way to salvation is to BE AS HE IS! The only way to have perfect LOVE is to BE AS HE IS! To BELIEVE FOR THIS NATURE!

1 John 4:17
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because AS HE IS, SO ARE WE in this world

The scripture doesn’t say, as he is, WE ARE NOT! NO, it clearly states as HE IS, SO ARE WE.

But wait there is more!

John 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father

Everything Jesus did, we do, and GREATER WORKS shall we do.

But wait there is more and this is important for all of you to understand which is why I am writing this. Because there will NEVER BE FREEDOM OR SALVATION by believing in anything outside of you.

Luke 17:21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you

It’s not about what is OUTSIDE YOU, but what is WITHIN YOU. Salvation is about knowing the TRUE NATURE that is inside you! Knowing that who you think you are, the sum total of your insecurities, fears, doubts, etc, IS NOT WHO YOU ARE! It is ANTI-CHRIST… meaning the OPPOSITE of WHO YOU ARE!

Romans 8
28And we know that all things work together for good to THEM that love God, to THEM who are the called according to his purpose. 29For THOSE he foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that (the son) might be the firstborn among many brethren.

I want you to REALLY read that above scripture closely. Then if you are really feeling up to it go back and read the entire chapter. What I want to point out is this above scripture is NOT TALKING ABOUT ONE SON, but MANY that are CONFORMED to the image of the SON, so THIS SON (humanity in its enlightened and true state) might be the firstborn among MANY BRETHREN!

Let me spell that out for you! WE CAN’T FAIL! That is the good news. We have all been predestined to be conformed/fashioned/made INTO THE IMAGE OF THE SON so IN US this SON will be the FIRSTBORN among the DEAD (ignorant). Notice that word DEAD isn’t speaking of a singular death, but a plurality.

Matthew 28:7
And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you

Oh I know, you are going to say that is speaking of Jesus’ death. Well if by “Jesus” you mean a symbol of all of humanity you are right. Look at this next passage.

1 Corinthians 15:20
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of THEM that slept

Notice, the DEAD (ignorant/carnal) that Christ is risen from is a multitude… THEM THAT SLEPT. The scripture doesn’t say now Christ is risen from his death, it says RISEN FROM THE DEAD (PLURAL). Still don’t believe me?

1 Corinthians 15:13
But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen

Paul is speaking of the plurality of this great resurrection, which takes place WITHIN us all! And if there is no resurrection from the DEAD (PLURAL) then CHRIST is not RISEN… Why, you ask? Because CHRIST rises from OUR DEATH (IGNORANCE)

2 Peter 1:19
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts

This is a SURE WORD of prophesy. Which means, you can take that to the bank baby! Christ will be FORMED IN YOU! It is the Hope of Glory after all.

So let’s look at this “Death” shall we. What is it?

Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death

Romans 7:24
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death

Look the list goes on and on. Death is a symbol. And what we call life is actually nothing more than DEATH (IGNORANT SUFFERING) But watch this next verse and see how DEATH and RESURRECTION has to do will ALL OF MANKIND and not just one single man.

1 Corinthians 15:21
For since by mankind came death, by mankind came also the resurrection of the dead

So in this DEATH mindset we are ignorant, we suffer in this world. BUT this is all part of a greater plan. We were made subject to this vanity for a reason, so we could be RISEN from the DEATH of our IGNORANCE into the GLORIOUS LIBERTY of the SON (CHILD) OF GOD!

This is the GOSPEL! We shall be delivered, we shall be set free! This is all part of the plan and the sooner we realise this the easier it will be to walk through the fiery trials set before us.

Romans 8:21
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

We shall be delivered from the bondage of our corrupted thinking. We SHALL BE SAVED! And how are we saved again? Well by believing this GOSPEL!

We are NOT saved by believing in some man from two thousand years ago. He was a pattern for us. Believing in Abraham Lincoln doesn’t keep slavery at bay, by knowing slavery is wrong and being as Abraham Lincoln does. Believing in someone who can swim doesn’t save you from drowning, YOU MUST BECOME THE SWIMMER!

We do not know life by waiting for some man from two thousand years ago to return, we are saved the instant we know we are as that son, and that son (child) is come (revealed) to our house = revealed in our thinking! HOPE IS OUR SALVATION!

Jesus said to the RELIGIOUS LEADERS tear down THIS TEMPLE. Because let’s face it, it’s the religious who tear down the temple which is our faith and hope, us. He said, tear down this TEMPLE (WHICH IS ALL OF US) and I (the LIFE within each of us) WILL RISE IT AGAIN ON THE 3RD DAY!

We are not saved or made whole by believing in anything outside of us, or waiting for anyone. We are only saved from within!

Romans 8
24For we are SAVED BY HOPE: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it

We are saved by our HOPE, we are made whole by our FAITH!

Luke 7:50
Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Jesus never said, your FAITH in ONLY ME saved you! Jesus said, YOUR FAITH SAVED YOU!

This woman, who had sinned, who felt so worthless, came in kissing Jesus’ feet (an allegory of being grateful for the Gospel). This woman LOVED MUCH and it was her FAITH that saved her!

Faith in what you ask? In the CHILD OF GOD, and who is this child of God?

Ephesians 4:13
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ

We ALL are. CHRIST IN YOU IS THE HOPE OF GLORY. This is the MYSTERY! It’s a mystery that has been hidden. The Truth of who you are at your CORE has been HIDDEN FROM YOU, but is now being revealed to you at the time appointed.

Colossians 1:
26Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory

Now I know this is a tough pill to swallow. Because there are scriptures that say, “You MUST believe Jesus is the Son of God.” Amd yes that is true. How could you ever, believe you are a Son of God if you don’t first believe it is possible for another to be a Son of God?

1 John 5:10
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son

Notice the words, HAS THE WITNESS IN HIMSELF! It’s all about us people. We have forgotten who we are, we have forgotten how we were known. It’s like we are looking in a mirror but we can’t make out who we are… Look at Youngs Literal translation of this next verse.

1 Corinthians 13:12 (Young’s Literal Translation)
12for we see now through a mirror obscurely, and then face to face; now I know in part, and then I shall fully know, as also I was known

Right now, we feel hopelessly lost. Hey I can relate, but that is only NOW! Not forever.

SOON we shall not have an obscured view of who we are, we shall see ourselves face to face, we shall no longer know in part, we shall know all, we shall know as also we WERE KNOWN! Which means, there was a time, that we did KNOW ALL. Which means, who we REALLY are DIED so that “who we think we are” could LIVE. But this FALSE EGO that we believe ourselves to be, with all our imperfections, insecurities, etc… this EGO is NOT who we are! Who we TRULY ARE died so who WE THINK WE ARE could exist. Now with that in mind, read this next scripture.

2 Corinthians 5:15
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again

The same spirit that was in Jesus is in Us, there is ONE SPIRIT in us all. This CHRIST (POWER AND WISDOM OF GOD) died (we became ignorant of) so who we think we are could live in death so we could realize the vanity of it all, and then return home. Which happens when the truth of the Gospel is revealed to us. When this happens, when we learn the truth of who we truly are in Christ, we can no longer live unto ourselves (carnal nature), but unto the true spirit that our life is hidden in.

Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me

As ADAM left the LIFE of paradise for his WIFE and DIED for his bride, so our TRUE SPIRIT followed after our SOULISH UNDERSTANDING into death. As EVE’s eyes were opened to a new way of THINKING (which really was death) so was ours. The TRUTH of who we are died so who we think we are could live. But now that we know that there is no life in that which doesn’t truly exist we must put off the conversation with this old nature, die to who we thought we were and allow CHRIST IN US to rule and reign.

Romans 6:10
For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God

We DIE when SIN rules, we enter a realm of suffering and ignorance when we follow after the lies of the world. And we LIVE when we live UNTO GOD. We have to stop believing we are somehow worthless wretches who do not deserve the life that is our very essence. We must stop believing there is only ONE MAN from thousands of years ago, or one Buddha before that, or one Krishna before that, we must understand there only is ONE SPIRIT which we ALL ARE!

It is absolute idolatry to not believe the TRUTH of who you are. It is idolatry to think you are not worthy of being who God created you to be. It is idolatry to think that you are different from everyone else, when we are all ONE!

Ephesians 4:5-7
5One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

We are the Body of Christ, the hand and foot may appear different, but it is still Christ. It may act differently have different functions but it is part of the whole, and if you hurt the Foot the whole Body is hurt because of it. WE ARE ALL ONE! It is idolatry to believe that one man from two thousand years ago is somehow greater than his brothers and sisters. It is idolatry to worship a Man or Woman and not simply BE who you BE. Don’t idolize another, find the TRUTH and be set free don’t wait on another to return to give you what has already been given.

There is an expression in Buddhism, “If you see the Buddha on the road kill him” – The reason is, EVERYONE IS THE BUDDHA! Everyone is the CHRIST! Everyone is GOD’S ONLY CHILD! The problem is WE FORGOT! Now we must remember, we must return!

1 Peter 2:25
For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls

And when we RETURN to our FATHERS HOUSE! The FATTED CALF (our idolatry) is killed, we are given our royal clothes, and we rejoice. We leave the suffering and famine of a life where our Father is far away and we are eating the rinds in pig slop (religious teachings) and we return HOME!

When we return we become the SON not the slave feeding the pigs, but the SHEPHERD leading the sheep!

John 10:2
But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep

The ONLY way to become the SHEPHERD (Christ) is to enter through the DOOR. And guess who that door is?

John 10:7
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep

An enigma for some, a revelation for some, an idol for others, but a great truth for those who have ears to hear. To become the Shepherd you must go in Through the Shepherd. Pay attention now, because this is a great revelation.

The story of Jesus IS THE DOOR! The only way IN is to enter in through JESUS’ STORY! Meaning, the life of Jesus whether allegorical or literal and historical is our map to be AS HE IS IN THIS WORLD. This is why Jesus states,

Matthew 16:24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me

YOU NEED TO DENY YOURSELF! You need to say “It is no longer MY EGO that exists, because it isn’t real! I am not a victim, I am not a bad person, I am not a drug addict, I am not weak, I am not abused, I am NOT who I thought I was… I DENY THAT PERSON EVER EXISTED AT ALL!”

Then we must CROSS over to the LIFE OF WHO WE ARE. Our map is the story of Jesus. We must PUT OUR OLD NATURE TO DEATH, and embrace our TRUE LIFE WHICH IS CHRIST IN US THE HOPE OF GLORY! We must give up the Ghost (The dead spirit we were clinging to) and commit ourselves into our Father’s authority. In that moment, we learn we are not living our LIFE our LIFE is living us. And in that day, we will see who we truly are in that mirror and it will not be obscured by our ignorance. And then we too will be the Firstborn among many brethren, we too will be the first-born from the dead (our death=our ignorance)

NOW! With all that being said, what does that have to do with the title of this essay, “IT’S ALL BENEATH US”. Well a couple of nights ago I kept dreaming of that scripture that says, till all things are put beneath the son…

1 Corinthians 15
27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

Our FEET is an allegory of OUR LIFE/WALK. We use our feet to get from one place to another. Our FEET is symbolic of our waking life here. This is why Jesus was always saying, stand on your feet and walk!

Psalm 56:13
For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living

The day we enter into the full revelation of the SON (who we are in Christ) everything in this life is PUT BENEATH THIS LIFE. We don’t sweat the stuff we used to sweat. We understand it is all part of the plan and we understand it is BENEATH US! But that isn’t the best part of that scripture…. read it again.

1 Corinthians 15
27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

When we put everything under this new revelation, we understand that all these things had to happen so that CHRIST our LIFE would be revealed to us, IN US, and in so doing putting all these things under WHO WE NOW KNOW OURSELVES TO BE.

How much better would it be if you knew everything in your life HAD TO HAPPEN to get you to where you are going. How much better would it be to know that everything you are suffering is actually HEALING YOU?

1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed

Who took upon our sins in his BODY – which we ARE! That we, being dead to sins SHOULD LIVE FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS … by, by, BY, whose STRIPES (SUFFERINGS) we are healed!

Please try to get this, WE ARE THE BODY THAT SUFFERS, so we can BE HEALED! It is not about one man from thousands of years of ago, it is about us all.

1 Corinthians 15:22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive

In our first nature we all died (became ignorant) by believing we were separate from God, but even so in the POWER AND WISDOM of God we shall ALL be made alive.

So don’t be so hard on yourself, let go of your past, think only on the moment. We have all fallen short, we all allow that CARNAL NATURE to accuse us day and night which leads us to believe we should be hiding from God and covering ourselves with religious rites and traditions and beliefs to appease God.

But WE NEED TO PUT THIS ALL BENEATH US! We need to put it all UNDER US! We need to wake up to who we really are, and when we do, we will understand that we HAD TO SUFFER to come to the understanding we now have. BY THESE STRIPES WE ARE ACTUALLY HEALED!

We have fallen asleep, we have forgotten who we are and believed we are someone we are not. We see others as our problem as opposed to our solution. We are all one and what is being done to us, as hard as it is to hear (TRUST ME) it is being done for us! Until we realize, like the prodigal, how bankrupt we are outside of our true nature we will continue suffering.

But when we return to the FATHER, when we GO TO THE FATHER then we will be able to bring others along with us. At first many will not like that who we used to be is now gone, they will be angry we are no longer with them, like them, but because we go to the FATHER – because we go HIGHER, we prepare a way for them to do the same. Each man in his order.

We will remember we CAME FROM GOD and entered the ignorance of this WORLD (MAN’S LUSTS) and we will LEAVE THIS WORLD (MAN’S LUSTS) and return to where we came from.

John 16:28
I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father

And when this revelation hits you, as Jesus said to his disciples, you will not need to go to Jesus, or Jacob, or any one else to know God.

23And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

Because you will know God and that God loves you, you will know as you are known and you will count everything you have suffered in this world as joy. And you will put it all beneath you, because the truth is, IT WAS ALWAYS BENEATH YOU!
